(Lilly's POV)

Nothing made any sense. It had been hours since we heard from the base, and still nothing from Alex. In our hide away, the silence seemed unreal. The cars passed by in the distance, the breeze moving through so calmly, it's like we didn't watch Megatron rise from the dead like we didn't face off with a bunch of Decepticons…like we didn't lose a part of our family.

I was sitting with my back against the wall, just twirling my fingers through the tall grass, waiting for Bee to come back from his fifteenth or so perimeter check.

"Ey Lilly, how long till Bee gets back," Mudflap yelled, I looked up to face him and his brother who were lounging on the wall.

"Soon," I replied, the twins rolled their eyes.

"Ain't this some shit," Skids muttered.

"Keep complaining and I'll tell him to go another round,"

"Fine!" both responded. I heard footsteps coming from building behind me, I turned and saw Michaela walking out a collection of small lamps cradled in her arms.

"Hey Mickey, what do you got there?" I responded, she looked up and managed to give me a small smile.

"Hey, these are the only lamps I found that still had some oil,"

"You want some help with those?"

"Yeah, you got a light?" she began putting the lamps around the ruined furniture that lay around, unscrewing the glass holders once they were in place.

"Kind of," I brought out my cannon, and picked up a stick. Letting my cannon charge I held the twig just outside of the barrel and the heat was able to light the tip. I handed the stick to her, and she started lighting the lamps.

"It's gonna get dark sooner or later,"

"And still nothing from the base," her shoulders slumped slightly, but she kept to her task.

"When is this nightmare going to end?" she cursed, putting the final glass jar on the lamp before stepping on the edge of the twig to put out the flame.

"Soon hopefully," I responded, I put my hand out and without hesitation, she climbed on holding onto my thumb as I brought her to my shoulder, she nibbled on her bottom lip and tapped her nails against my metal shoulder. I knew the habits all too well, she was thinking, whenever she had some engine not coming together or a custom motor needed a repair, she would do the same thing until she solved it. This wasn't a motor for her to work on or a car with an identifiable problem she could figure out in a few minutes…and she wasn't the only one frustrated about it.

"You ok?" I asked she shrugged her shoulders.

"Not really, Sam's not talking to me, and he keeps storming off…but things can be worse, I guess," I patter her leg with my finger.

"I'm right there with you whenever you need me,"

"Thanks,"

"Give Sam time; we've all been through hell today, he'll come around eventually,"

"I know but…I'm worried he would do something drastic, he keeps blaming himself for what happened…and that's got to be crushing him,"

"You have to remind him that it's not his fault,"

"Easier said than done," she muttered, bringing her legs up, and resting her head on her knees.

"Doesn't mean don't stop trying,"

"They can track us?" Leo shouted Michaela and I both looked across the courtyard to see Sam and Leo coming out from one of the alleyways.

"Like, satellite track us?" he asked, Sam just remained silent, as he made his way across the courtyard, with Leo following close behind him.

"Okay, I'm not even with you guys! Technically, I'm like a hostage. This is kidnapping–"

"Yo! Le-yo!" Mudflap yelled, Leo jumped and scrunched his eyes shut, before continuing forwards, his gaze falling on me now.

"This thing's gonna give me a heart attack, I swear,"

"You have the option to leave, take it whenever you like," I replied

"And face more killing machines out there? No thank you," he responded.

"That's 'cause you's a wuss,"

"You guys forced me into that car, right?"

"Yeah but it was to save your life, so I think you're trying to say thank you," Michaela answered.

"Thank you?" he shouted.

"For putting me through this hell of a nightmare!" He shouted, stomping around in circles to emphasizes his point like an idiot.

"I'm not cut out for war ok? Does this look like a soldier's face to you?"

"I don't think you want the answer to that question," I said, both the twins laughed.

"Ooh I think he's scared," Mudflap said.

"Hey, Mudflap, what are we gonna do with this shrimp taco?" his brother snickered.

"Let's pop a cap in his ass, throw him in the trunk and then nobody gonna know nothing, know what I mean?" Mudflap replied,

"Yo, bumper cars!" Leo shouted.

"Bumper Cars?"

"I'm hearing you! Okay?" he pointed at the twins.

"I'm right here, and I can hear you! No one's popping any caps in any asses, okay? I've had a hell of a day!" Mudflap stuck his glossa out at him.

"Why don't you get a haircut with your bitch ass?" Skids said.

"Go whine to your boyfriend!" Mudflap added as Leo walked away.

"Listen, Sam, I know what I'm gonna do, man," Leo said, following Sam as he came towards Michaela and me.

"Look, I'm just going to go to the authorities and tell them the truth, Like, I had nothing to do with this. So, I'm not an accomplice,"

"Hey, you wanted this, right?" Sam shouted. Leo was taking a step back. I saw the way his eyes twitched and the sheen of the tears he had cried.

"You wanted the real deal? Well, that's what this is," he leaned in to get in Leo's face, teeth grinding jaw clenched, like he was holding himself back from breaking down.

"Wake up! You're in the middle of it!" Sam stepped back and marched into another one of the buildings.

"You want to run? Go ahead no one's stopping you! Stop complaining," He yelled back.

"Let me down please Lilly,"

"Sure," I brought up my hand and let her down to follow Sam.

"I need a minute,"

"Gotta fix your make up?" Skids yelled, but Leo moved on into another alleyway without another word the familiar rumble of an engine rang through the courtyard, and I saw my yellow Camaro coming through the alley across from us. He transformed and walked over towards the twins.

"Any word from HQ?"

"Nah Man nothing from anybot up top" his head slumped.

"Keep on watchin'" he turned to look at me, and I smiled.

"Did the drive help,"

"Round and around and around and around we go– Nothing but a heartache every day" he huffed, coming to sit beside me. His hand grasping mine squeezing it gently and I pressed back.

"Oh hell naw, I ain't gonna be stuck here with you two lovebirds," Skids said, slapping his brother on the shoulder.

"C'mon Mudflap let's roll,"

"Don't tell me what to do!"

"Shut yo bitch ass up!"

"Oh you gone get it now!" the two transformed and raced down the alleyway after one another.

"How in God's name–did I deserve–let's have a toast for the assholes,"

"They ain't all that," I replied, he turned to me with this look of "So done" on his face.

"Ain't this some shit – after all we've been through you gonna play me like that? – You was my baby! My fucking cinnamon apple!–won't you tell me, Why I work so hard for you? – and I come home to this!" I was struggling to keep a straight face. His need to make people happy will never cease to amaze me.

"I did tell you we're pretty safe here; you didn't have to do another round,"

"Leave the past in the past–don't need no negative vibes,"

"Fine," I leaned my head against his shoulder," I won't say I told you so," he nudges his head with mine.

"Haha very funny – don't talk back to me mister," I couldn't help the giggle that slipped past my lips, but my spark warmed at seeing him smile, even for just a little bit. When we came back to the others earlier, he stayed silent. Not really responding to anyone, not even Sam, then he did the rounds, once then twice, over and over going out to check the perimeter. I let him go each time knowing that he just needed some time to process and let everything out so that he can keep his head in the game. It was very uplifting to see he's in somewhat better spirits, even if he was holding stuff back, but I can't change the way he works things out…I can be there whenever he needs me, so that's just what I will do.

Darkness finally started to settle around us, only the glow from the oil lamps could be seen and the only noise made was from the light breeze coming through the alleys, and the whir of two sparks side by side. I looked at Bee the light cast a warm sheen over his face, but his eyes were shining blue like always. This was my moment of peace, the silence before the orchestra of life begins to play and set everything in motion. Sending us swirling back into the storm that has clouded us all…it was in moments like this where I could hear his spark, feeling it's proximity to mine and I want nothing more than to stay right where I was to stay with this feeling forever. And someday, maybe, we can stay like this for the rest of our lives, maybe someday this war will be won, and we will finally be able to be at peace together, with our whole family, just finally feeling happy. All Bee's known is war and terror, all he's grown up with are hardened soldiers and timid recruits, he's never known a life like mine, where I grew up careless and adventurous, where my only struggles were deciding what to eat and finish my homework on time. He grew up in a way that didn't have much room for expression, no time for painting or drawing, no place for art sculptures and murals…just war. He's one of the few that seem so expressive and passionate about what he believes in; he appeared so light-hearted compared to the others, he didn't let the war get to him as most people do. To me, that made him so strong. To be forced to endure so much pain and anguish through life and still hold onto what makes him so uniquely incredible takes so much strength and will, that I don't think I will ever be able to compare…and it made me so happy to have this beautiful person all to myself.

"How's my little guy doing?" he said drawing me out of my trance.

"You can go ask him you know,"

"I don't know–this guy–Gone to great lengths to avoid me,"

"Both of you have been avoiding each other to be fair," he hummed sadly.

"Sam hasn't talked to anyone…even Mickey's having a hard time talking with him," I added.

"I gotta talk to him,"

"Then go for it ask her out," I responded, he looked at me like I grew a second head.

"You know what I mean, talk to him…there's nothing holding you back from starting things up," he nodded looking out into the courtyard for a moment before looking back at me.

"You ok?" he asked his head tilting slightly, like a puppy wonder what his owner was saying, I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm worried," I moved closer to him, "It's been a while since we heard anything from the others, I'm just hoping everything is alright,"

"We could try–contact Starfleet–give 'em the old–Huston we have a problem,"

"I'm more worried about the Decepticons still out there if we tried to contact base, we have to reveal our energon signals,"

"Would you like to play a game–Cat and mouse–I like to move it move it–before they–la-la-la la-la-la-la I will find you,"

"We've been safe here so far,"

"Well we can't stay here forever," he chirped

"True dat," I responded, His thumb was stroking my hand

"Ok, but we need to figure out where we're going before we try contacting base,"

"Aye aye captain!"

"Bee?" we both looked toward the entrance of the building we were sitting against, Sam stood there, still looking utterly devastated. He walked over to an old rusting car next to Bee, holding onto the handle as if attempting to brace himself for something. Michaela came out behind him, sitting on some broken furniture covered in overgrown grass.

"If you hate me, I understand," Sam's gave fell to the ground like he was on the verge of tears.

"I messed up," he muttered, "I'm sorry," Bee chirped sadly as if he was at a lost for words when flipping through stations, he leaned in closer to Sam, attempting to see his face.

"Young fella, you are the person–I care about most in my life–If there's anything you need, I won't be far away," Sam let go of the car and sat beside Michaela, she placed her hand on his back, trying her best to comfort him.

"He's dead because of me," Sam said.

"He came here to protect me, and he's dead," he added, leaving us all somewhat lost for words, we know it wasn't his fault…but he didn't.

"There's some things you just can't change – So, his sacrifice for us would not have been in vain. Hallelujah!"

"I'm gonna make it right, I'm going to turn myself in," Bee jerked back before moving closer to Sam.

"We...We've got to stick together," Bee transformed, and Sam walked up to him, leaning against his hood, running his hands along the black stripe on Bee's paint job.

"You're not going to do that," Michaela said, slumping back into the sofa.

"Yes, I am," Bee revved his engine and jerked forward in his alt mode.

"Everything we worked for will be wiped out in one day!"

"Bee's right," I said, Sam and Michaela, looking up at me.

"If you turn yourself in what's going to stop the Decepticons from destroying everything?" Sam crossed his hands over his chest and looked at the ground.

"They need you for something, and turning yourself in is only going to help them,"

"I told ya you couldn't catch me," Mudflaps yelled, him and his brother coming back into the courtyard.

"Bitch you had a head start," Skids replied.

"You two!" Sam shouted.

"Hmm?" the twins mumbled.

"Hey, you know the glyphs?" his hands moved around his head.

"Uhh…"

"These?" he pointed to one of the markings on his arm

"The symbols that have been rattling around in my head?"

"Whoo, tha-that's old school yo, tha-that's like...That's Cybertronian," Skid's said.

"Oh, that's some serious stuff, right there," Mudflap added.

"They gotta mean something, like a message or like a map! Like a map to an Energon source!" Sam looked at me.

"Can you read this?" I moved closer to see.

"Not well enough, and the Cybertronian Ratchet gave us looked nothing like that,"

"Can you guys read this?" He brought his arm up a little higher for them to see.

"Read? Uh–" Skids looked to his brother.

"We-we…No, we don't really do much reading, not so much," Mudflap responded.

"If you can't read it, we gotta find somebody who can," Sam said.

"Hey?" we looked behind the twins to see Leo coming up towards us looking back and forth between the two twins like they were ready to pounce on him.

"Look who came sashaying back!" Skids said, jutting his thumb towards the poor guy.

"Hair growing like a Chia Pet look at him," Mudflap added, pointing to his head.

"I had a bit of a mild panic attack earlier, right?" Leo said

"That's 'cause you're a pussy," Mudflap said, before fist bumping his brother.

"Cool it guys," I said, the two going silent for now.

"I think I'm allowed that considering what I've been through," he stepped closer towards Sam and Michaela.

"I heard you have a problem, I think I know someone who can help," he added.

"Who?" Sam asked.

"Robo-Warrior,"

(Katy's POV)

The sky was my favorite place to be it was so open and free; anyone could learn to love it…but after a shit ton of Decepticons literally fell out of the sky, it's become a lot scarier. Sure, most of those big idiots had compatible flight alt-modes, but I could at least see them flying in front of me or scan for their signals…but space…that was out of my reach; it was something I haven't seen yet. It was dark and mysterious, overwhelmingly large, filled with secrets and uncertainty, the perfect place for Decepticons to lurk without detection, to hide in plain sight…that's what scared me.

The sky was mine, and they wrecked it…

Now we're running scared with our tails between our legs instead of kicking some Decepti-freak butt. To top it all off, we left Bee, the Twins, and Lilly behind. This was too much to deal with all at once; we're lesser in numbers, Decepticons are coming out of everywhere…and our primary leader is dead.

I looked around at the beautiful open blue as we flew back to base. For someone who is usually so loud and extravagant, i.e., Me, I never thought I'd love the quiet the sky brought me so much. Just flying around or freefalling here and there was that much better when I put my music on mute and just listened. The wind whipping past me, and the deafening silence just after the Boom from breaking the sound barrier felt like bliss coming to my ears.

I must be getting older…no way preteen Katy would like such a quiet atmosphere

"Ratchet to Katharine,"

Leave it to Hatchet to rip me out of La-la Land.

"Katy here,"

"We'll be beginning our descent soon, please do a perimeter energon scan, as we enter Diego Garcia's airspace…I don't intend to let the Decepticons disrupt us again,"

"You got it Hatchet," I cringed the instant I let the nickname slipped.

"I'm not in the mood for such banter,"

"I'm sorry…it's out of habit," silence came through on his end, and I nearly thought that he had ended the comm till I heard his raspy voice once again.

"Continue on your perimeter scan and keep close to the base,"

"Yes, sir Ha-Ratchet," and the comm went dead. I pulled away from the formation and descended by the shoreline flying rather low as I activated my scanners the perimeter of the island wasn't a long flight. I could fly it in five minutes if I tried, but I took my time scanning. Flying over the shallows, the waves beating against the sandy shore, it gave me more of that quiet that I've been craving lately. The sun was low and from it cascaded a rainbow of colors along the shoreline reminded me of the mosaic stain glass windows from my church...

God that feels like such a long time ago…who am I kidding it's been over two years if not more

I was coming around the final stretch of the island, thinking of home…what would happen to my family, what would I be able to tell them…if I'm allowed to tell them anything at all. It's the only thing I didn't like about being a part of N.E.S.T. I couldn't relay anything about what was happening in the world, at least not from how we saw it.

"Well, what do you expect? This shit is not what you bring up over a phone call," I muttered to myself.

"Think of how that would go down 'Hey mom, how's the fam? Oh, work is fine, we just destroyed an alien armada gunning for earth before they got a chance to split the planet in half, anyways how's grandma?' mom would lose her shit!" I transformed mid-air and skidded onto the sand. Taking my staff out from its usual perch on my back and twirling it back and forth as I walked and scanned the beach. I was barely paying attention to where I was going at this point, lost in my head I kept marching on.

"This whole thing is a shitty mess," I mumbled and kicked the sand, I looked up the road entrance of the base getting nearer. I checked my scanners…nothing.

"Fuck this! I'm going back," just as I was about to launch into the sky my comm pinged again,

"Ugh,"

"Ratchet give me a break I'm almost done,"

"Katy! You've got to get outta here!" Jazz's frantic voice came through.

"Jazz? Wh-what's going on?"

"Galloway's taking us in; you've got to get to Lilly and Bee,"

"Taking you in? Jazz what are you talking about?"

"Hurry they're heading towards you now! Get off the island!" I peeked through the fenced-in base seeing a trail of military vehicles racing towards me, and further back I saw the Autobots standing with their guns drawn, instantly I transformed and flew as fast as I could from the island, but I soon heard jet engines following after me…and unfortunately, this bright blue sky isn't full of hiding places. I weaved and dived at random, but nothing seemed to deter this pilot off my tail.

"I knew I should have paid attention to Cybertonian flight patterns!" I yelled. The sudden bomb sounding off, alerted me in just enough time to dodge the dangerous projectile. My radio pinged, and I opened communication.

"Auto flyer this is SMAT, over,"

"AutoFlyer to SMAT What the hell man? I'm one of the good guys! Over,"

"Auto flyer you are to be escorted back to Diego Garcia, over,"

"You could have said that instead of shooting at me, over,"

"Just Following orders ma'am,"

"I figured,"

"Failure to comply and I will be forced to terminate you,"

"Shit!"

I looked around frantically nothing I could do nowhere I could go…except. I looked down at the endless ocean before me.

Bingo

I nosedived to the water; the other plane was going as fast it didn't have enough time to follow. I transformed and triggered my jetpacks to help gravity do it's work the ocean coming closer and closer.

BOOM!

Explosives were going off just behind me, I flipped myself over and saw SMAT gunning right for me.

"Shit," I turned myself over just in time to use my jetpacks and give me one more boost before I maneuvered myself into a cannonball and hit the water…and that shit hurt! It felt like I crashed into a building.

"Fuck!" I screamed as the sharp dagger-like pain from the cold water stabbed me all over like a million needles. I let the water drag me to the bottom and the darkness that surrounded. Once my feet hit the sandy floor, I brought down my visor and scanned for the fighter jet only to see it pull out of its nosedive and turn towards the base.

"Glad that's over," the pressure down here wasn't too bad, but it could get uncomfortable…really quick. I activated my jet packs, and I maneuvered through the ocean making sure I stayed well enough below the surface. With my visor down, I input the coordinates to where last saw Lilly and Bee, it displayed my route on the visor's screen.

"Lilly, I hope you're not hiding too well," I muttered as I swam through the vast deep

(Jazz's POV)

The plane had just touched down, and I was more than ready to get off this slagging thing. My entire framework felt tense and cramp, and it was all my processor could focus on at the moment. Light streamed through the cargo hold as the ramp dropped down, soldiers came by moving between us and unhooked our safety straps. Stepping aside, they let us move down the ramp. No one said a word as we rolled onto the tarmac, we just lined up parking ourselves awaiting our remaining…cargo.

His peds were the first thing I saw coming out of the plane…and I felt my spark clench. Ratchet was the first to transform, and we followed suit. The tarp covered most of his frame and face, the sound of a chopper landing nearby permeating the silence that had befallen us. The wind from the propellers made the tarp wave, and for a fraction of a klick, I thought it was him moving. I thought it was him showing at least some form of life…it felt so wrong to see him so still.

Once he was out on the tarmac, soldiers removed the tarp that had kept him covered. His optics were dark, all along his chassis were dents and scratches, the windshield on his chest was cracked. But nothing measured up to the gaping hole in his chest and the darkness within it, such a horrid contrast to what was his spark was a light of life snuffed out so savagely. It made my chassis tighten at the thought of the immense pain my commander had endured in his final hours. I brought my servo up in a salute, as did the others, keeping our silence as he was carried towards the chopper. All of us retaining a diligent optic as soldiers connected cables to Optimus's body to be moved away.

"Where are they taking him?" Meg asked.

"We were given a choice," Ratchet responded.

"Let the government handle his body to be studied, or send his body back to Cybertron," we all looked to Ratchet.

"I don't plan on letting any being in this galaxy disrespect him in such a way,"

"So he's going back to Cybertron?" Meg asked.

"We'll keep his remains under our protection until we can transport him elsewhere," Ironhide replied.

"Ultimately…we're letting Alex make the decision," Ratchet added. "She is acting commander, and I trust her judgment…"

The chopper rose above the tarmac and carried his body along with them. It hung so limply as it was taken to the awaiting hangar.

"We better head back," Sideswipe said. Helms nodded, and we transformed and drove back to the main hangar following Optimus's body closely. I looked towards the main building, Maggie and Jolt were standing on the tarmac, Alex beside them and surrounding the entrance were a significant number of soldiers all optics were on Optimus as he came closer towards them, the roof of the hangar was opening awaiting the fallen Prime. I read a mix of expressions from the soldiers out on the tarmac. Jolt had his usual stoic appearance, but I could see his optics shifting slightly. I saw Maggie lay a hand over her mouth and she gripped tighter to Night Blade. But Alex…I could see the trails of her energon tears on her face plates, she looked so defeated. It almost seemed like she was the one who had her spark ripped out of her…and based off of how I had seen her, and Optimus's relationship play out…I understood why.

Suddenly the chopper released it's connection to Optimus's body, and his corpse fell like a brick onto the tarmac making dirt and sand rise in clouds on impact. Maggie and Alex jerked suddenly at the sound of his body hitting the ground, and the soldiers surrounding them looked shocked and confused.

"Something's up," I muttered, and braked instantly, transforming and standing by Optimus.

"What is the meaning of this?" Ratchet yelled to Epps.

"Ay man I'm as confused as you," the sound of hydraulics drew everyone's gaze, and the roof of the hangar was closing, coming out from behind the hangar was a caravan of military vehicles coming to surround us, heavily armed.

"They were waiting for us," I said, drawing down my visor and bringing forth my weapons. Sideswipe drew out his blades, and the other's followed suit arming themselves, except for Alex, she stared at the body lying before her like she was lost in a trance.

"What is the meaning of this?" Sideswipe said. The only reply was weapons being drawn. The soldiers who had stood with Alex were shouting to their armed comrades to stand down but to no avail. The Autobots and the remaining soldiers surrounded Optimus' body as best we could. Still, the armed soldiers moved closer guns drawn and at the ready.

"You dare point a gun at me?" Ironhide yelled stepping towards our current enemy aiming his cannons at the surrounding vehicles.

"You want a piece of me? I'll tear you apart!"

"Woah, woah, woah, Drop your weapons!" Epps ordered.

"Drop your weapons!" Lennox yelled. None of the oncoming soldiers flinched. He marched over to one vehicle and slammed his hands on the hood.

"Tell them to drop their weapons!" he ordered to the soldier moving towards him.

"Tell them first," he responded, nodding upwards towards us.

"Tell them to lower their weap–"

"Major, there's nothing I can do," the soldier looked at the vehicle's passenger side door.

"Talk to him," he responded. Much to our mutual disgust, Galloway stepped out.

"Your N.E.S.T. team's deactivated Major," he said, moving forward and addressing the rest of the base.

"You are to cease anti-Decepticon operations and remain on Diego Garcia pending further orders,"

"No, we take our orders directly from Chairman Morshower, sir," Lennox replied, and I felt my tank jerk at the sneer on that smug little glitch's face.

"Well, I'll see your Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and…" he opened his jacket and wrenched out a crumpled paper, waving it in front of Lennox's face.

"I will raise you a President of the United States," he looked Lennox dead in the eye with no remorse or consideration for what we were going through. Slaggit he never even considered us as equals.

"I have operational command now," he added. Leaning towards Lennox far too close for anyone's comfort.

"An alien blood feud has been brought to our shores for which our soldiers are paying the price,"

"Those who you consider your soldiers aren't the only one suffering," I hissed, and surprisingly I saw more hate in his eyes now than I ever did in our past interactions. Galloways stepped forward facing us.

"The secret is out!" he shouted. Side's helm jerked back a bit and looked at me, and my comm pinged.

"I don't like the looks of this,"

"Same here brother,"

My comm pinged again.

"Do you see Katharine nearby?" Ratchet's voiced responded. With my visor over my optics, I was able to scan the area, no sign of the Rafale fighter jet anywhere in sight.

"No,"

"Comm her and tell her to go find Lillian and Bumblebee, Galloway's up to something and I don't like it,"

"This is our war now!" Galloway shouted getting our attention once again. How dare he say this was his war. Humans have only been involved for a servo full of years, and we've suffered millennia through this…Optimus…died for it.

"And we will win it as we always have," he turned back to Lennox.

"With a coordinated military strategy," the statement itself was even more dumbfounding than the man who spoke.

"This fool is terribly misinformed," Ratchet said.

"You're going to need every asset you've got," Lennox said following Galloway as he stepped away.

"What we need is to draw up battle plans while we explore every possible diplomatic solution.

"Like handing over my brother?" Alex interrupted, and all fell silent. She stood tall before Galloway, despite her pain-stricken facial plates, and looked him down with furious optics and clenched servos.

"All options are being…considered," Galloway responded.

"You need the Autobots, or the Decepticons will destroy everyone and everything they can get their hands on," Maggie pleaded.

"Whatever it is that they're after, this is just the start," Meg added, her cannon already aimed at the puny liaison.

"There is no negotiating with them; you don't stand a chance without us," Alex finished.

"Interesting..." Galloway muttered another smug grin was taking over his vile face.

"You, hybrids think you have a say in this, and even dare to make demands,"

"Your idea of winning is sitting around arguing politics while people die!" Alex responded.

"I'd assume you'd know of proper proceedings had you not focused your attention on your Cybertronian counterparts,"

"Do I need to smack you to get you to listen to common sense?" Meg said leaning closer to Galloway.

"I'm ordering you to stand down!" he shouted.

"Hey! Take it Easy!" Lennox yelled holding Galloway back. The fury in that man's optics was unmatched as he pushed himself off of Lennox.

"You won't be needing this anymore," he shouted and ripped off Lennox's N.E.S.T. badge, throwing it onto the tarmac. He turned to re-enter the vehicle he had come from.

"Get your assets back in the hangar!" he looked back at Optimus's corpse, acknowledging it's existence for the first time since he stepped out. There was no remorse in his eyes.

"And take that pile of scrap metal back with you," as soon as he put his hand on the door handle a cannon shot was fired just behind Galloway's vehicle, everyone ducked down as chunks of asphalt, sand, and dirt flew up as suddenly as it came crashing down around us. The dust began to settle, eyes and optics scanned the surrounding area for where the shot came from until all optics fell on who stood within our circle, with cannons drawn and energon tears falling. Alex stepped forward until she nearly crushed Galloway with her ped, she brought up her energon sword and pointed it threateningly close to his face.

"Dare…" she muttered in a strained voice, a combination of fury and sadness.

"Dare disrespect him in my presence…and I promise you I won't miss my next shot," she growled. Galloway frantically looked about attempting to get as far from Alex as he could.

"Fire!" he shouted. Weapons were drawn, but no one fired.

"What the Hell these are my men you're aiming at!" Lennox said holding his hands up.

"Your men are not my target," Galloway responded, having us all confused. Of the vehicles surrounding us, four had opened their trunks and soldiers brought out large metal containers, setting them down on the tarmac.

"What the Hell?" Meg said.

The soldiers flung open three of the four containers and before we could react, whatever was in there shot right out towards us. I pulled up my shield and awaited the strike, but it never came.

"Ratchet!" Maggie cried, helms turned to face her and much to our horror…a metal chain was hanging out from where her spark was. Meg and Alex turned…similar chains were hanging from different entrance points of their chassis.

"No!" Ratchet cried.

"Hmm…I-ron Hide…" Meg muttered her speech slurring, her body swaying slightly.

"M-Meg," Ironhide muttered still shocked at what was happening.

"I'm gettin'…sleepy," her optics fluttered. Beside her Alex fell to her knees trying to reach Galloway.

"You'll…pay…for this," she hissed.

Ironhide watched in horror as Meg fell to the ground and began to transform, Alex and Maggie falling suit. The minute their alt-modes appeared on the tarmac Galloway's soldiers advanced, all guns aimed at the three cars sitting still on the tarmac.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Ironhide yelled.

"One move Autobot and my men pull the trigger," Galloway answered.

"How…How could you be so spark-less?" Ratchet pleaded, never in my life had I seen the mech look so distraught.

"Where's the fourth one?" Galloway asked, looking around as if she was hiding in plain sight. My spark stopped for a klick before activating my comm link. Praying that they hadn't gotten to her yet.

"Ratchet give me a break I'm almost done," my spark hitched at the sound of her voice.

"Katy! You've got to get outta here!" I said, just as I saw another trail of military vehicles going towards the outskirts of the base.

"Jazz? Wh-what's going on?"

"Galloway's taking us in; you've got to get to Lilly and Bee,"

"Taking you in? Jazz what are you talking about?"

"Hurry they're heading towards you now! Get off the island!" I ended the comm and scanned the perimeter; I saw a fighter jet take off from the shoreline in the distance…she was safe.

"Well, I'm not going to wait around for you to tell me where she is," Galloway said, I brought up my visor, so he could see the fury in my optics.

"You lay a servo on her, and I'll send you flying glitch," I growled, but Galloway went back to his vehicle and spoke with one of the soldiers at his side.

"Detain the remaining hybrids," Galloway commanded.

"Send out a fighter to locate the Autobot jet," he looked me dead in the optic with a smug grin.

"If it doesn't comply, give orders to terminate,"

"Yes, sir,"

"You FRAGGING GLITCH!" I jumped over Optimus to face him.

"Ah ah ah! Not so fast there," just as he spoke the femmes in their human forms were dragged out onto the tarmac each one struggling against their captors despite the gun held to their helms.

"How dare you!" Ratchet yelled.

"Let them go!" Ironhide cried.

"One word and I have one less monstrosity to worry about," Galloway responded.

"Can't…Can't you see we've suffered enough today?" Ironhide pleaded.

"You're computers…you don't know suffering," Galloway replied, he entered his vehicle and drove away. The soldier holding Meg stepped forward.

"No one moves, and no one gets hurt," he said. As soon as those words left his lips Meg swung her head back making it collide with his nose and making him release her but she was still groggy from the whole transformation, she tried to get to Ironhide, but two more soldiers held her back.

"Hide!" she cried I saw the small tears falling down her cheeks, but there was nothing he could do to help her without jeopardizing Maggie and Alex's safety.

"Quit struggling if you want to see your brother again," Maggie looked like someone had just ripped her heart out, and I saw Ironhide's chassis slump in defeat.

"Have you no mercy!" Ironhide yelled. The soldiers dragged the girls away, the military vehicles towing their alt modes behind them. The base's intercom came on, and a femme's voice came on the line.

"Autobots, report to the hangar for transport."

"What are we going to do?" Sideswipe asked his optics trained on our commander's body on the ground. From the hangar Epps came out driving a cargo vehicle, it's open bed offering enough space for Optimus's body.

"We must comply…for their safety," Ironhide said, standing up and looking towards Optimus. I've never seen him like this, in all our time together I've never seen the mech so broken down.

"Let's take him to rest," he said. And bending down each of us took hold of Optimus, lifted him up and carefully placed him on the cargo vehicle. The members of Lennox's men climbed onto the transport and ensured he was secure before pulling a tarp over him. All of us followed alongside him as they drove his body into the hangar. I saw the femme's alt-modes chained to the vehicles that had towed them…No sign of the girls anywhere.

"Jazz," Lennox said. I bent down to hear him.

"They lost Katy, she dived into the ocean before the fighter got to her, she's safe," I closed my optics and the tension in my chassis lifted.

"Thank Primus,"

"Yeah, if she contacts you though let me know,"

"You got it, Lennox," he nodded his head and patted my ped before walking with Epps to the barracks...to pack up their gear I assume.

"Let me go!" I helmed turned to the sound; a soldier was taking a small boy across the way.

"Andrew?" Ironhide muttered. The boy turned to face the weapons specialist, his poor optics wide with fear.

"Ironhide!" he shouted, and managing to wriggle out of the soldier's grasp, he bolted towards us, his nimble body allowing him to weave through the crowd of soldiers. Ironhide knelt down and brought Andrew into his grasp.

"Thank Primus you're safe," he uttered as Andrew hugged his face plates.

"Unhand the kid!" the soldier shouted.

"Over my dead chassis," Ironhide growled, charging his cannons and holding Andrew closer. The soldier refrained from drawing his weapon but reached for his radio. Epps suddenly came behind him and took the radio from his grasp.

"Woah there, what's going on?" he said.

"Look," the soldier replied, "I don't like any of this as much as you do, but I have orders to take the boy, and prep him for transport,"

"What boy are you talking about, there are no kids allowed on base," Epps said, the soldier looked confused.

"That kid?" he said pointing at Andrew in Ironhide's ped, instantly Andrew ducked down to hide from their view.

"Man there ain't no kid here, check our records there's none for a child living on base," Epps said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I think Galloway sent ya on a wild goose chase, there's no kid here, he stayed with his father back in the states," the soldier caught on to Epp's suggestion.

"Alright…thanks," the soldier eyed Ironhide and Andrew before nodding and walking away.

"Good job Epps, he had no Idea I was here," Andrew said. Somehow despite the turn of events, we all managed to chuckle at the kid's jest.

"Yeah Andrew, you did good kid," he replied.

"Thank you, Epps," he nodded, but he didn't appear to be entirely happy at their success.

"I came by to talk with ya'll…I got some news,"

"Where from?" Ratchet asked.

"The President himself…"

"With N.E.S.T. team deactivated, you're getting sent to Kennedy,"

"The space station?" Jolt asked. Epps nodded.

"You guys…and Optimus,"

"And what of the girls?" Ironhide asked.

"They're assigned to our research base in Nevada," Epps said. I felt my tank sink.

We're being shipped off, and they'll be lab rats for the rest of their lives.

"What about the others?" I asked, "We don't have a way to track them with their energon signals hidden,"

"Galloway's got everyone and everything looking for them, it's a motherfucking manhunt, and that SOB is giving no mercy,"

"What are their orders?" Jolt asked.

"Detain, if necessary…Terminate,"

"This Slagging glitch," Ironhide muttered.

"Besides our comm links, do we have any other means to contact them?" Ratchet asked. Epps shook his head.

"Nothing goes out unless it goes through Galloway, 'fraid we can't do much from here,"

"Where are the femme's being held?" Ironhide asked.

"Lennox is trying to figure that out, Galloway and his crew ain't too happy to talk shop with us,"

"These slaggers, I ought to take them out back and talk shop," I growled tightening my servos.

"You and me both Jazz," the scratch of the intercom filled the hangar.

"Master Sergeant Epps report to the main hangar,"

"The minute I get more info you guys will be the first to know," his optics fell on the cargo hidden behind us, and I saw his jaw tighten before he turned towards the main hangar. None of us noticed the wandering gaze of a young boy fall on the tarp-covered body.

"Ironhide?"

"What is that?" and he pointed to the cargo vehicle. The weapons specialist's gaze shifted slightly.

"It's nothing you need to worry about right now," he whispered and shifted his stance so that Andrew could not see the covered body.

"How could they turn against us after all we've done to help them," Ratchet muttered.

"This ain't our team going against us, Lennox and Epps are being detained and pushed around just as much as we are," I said.

"Still it was their government that decided to go against us, we agreed with them they knew our restrictions, Optimus made it very clear that Decepticons would stop at nothing to attack us, and still they accepted," Ratchet was more riled than I had ever seen him before.

"We should leave this planet," he huffed, and we all remained silent. I know he spoke out of anger, but this planet has become our home, we protected it for only a handful of human years, but this is where we have been safe, and with the girls, this is where our unit has become a family.

"That's not what Optimus would want," Ironhide replied, turning to face Ratchet.

"This is our home…and primus slaggit we're gonna keep it that way," he added.

Primus willing…we'll give 'em Pit.

(Maggie's POV)

"This is complete and utter BULLSHIT!" Meg yelled before she kicked the door for the umpteenth time. I closed my eyes trying to figure out how utterly bizarre this day has turned out to be; I pause when I see my hands and how weird it is to see skin instead of metal.

"These sons of bitches!" She kicked the metal bench.

"Right, and kicking everything in sight is going to help," her deadly glare focused on me now

"They took my cannons!" she shouted.

"Excuse me for being a bit UNHAPPY ABOUT IT!"

"Oh, would you please grow up, for God's sake we've got some bigger issues to deal with right now," I brought up my hands for her to see.

"In case you haven't noticed," she rolled her eyes, and her hands fiddled with the charm at the end of her necklace.

"I thought Ratchet had these things locked up? How the hell did they get these anyways?" I shot up from my seat and looked her dead in the eye.

"Don't you dare blame him for this, he had nothing to do with it," her jaw tightened.

"Great! Something we can agree on," she turned away. "It's not Ratchet's fault we're knee deep in shit," she went straight to the locked door that held us captive.

"It's that SON OF A SLAGGER GALLOWAY!" she banged on the metal door.

"COME ON BITCH! Meet me face to face I'll show you how much damage I can do with my two fists!" giving the door another hearty kick

"Please," a small voice whimpered. I turned towards Alex.

"Stop shouting…" she whispered, still sitting coiled up on the bench in the far corner, and I felt guilt set within me. After all, that's has happened today I completely forgot how she would be right now. With that red moto jacket wrapped around her shoulders her knees pulled up to her chest, and her hair covering most of her face, it all made her seem so small; the opposite of the Alex that I've known all these years.

"Sorry," Meg whispered before plopping down on the bench at the other side of the room, her back leaning against the wall. The dog tags around her neck clinked together with the necklace that held her black pendant. She shoved her hands into the pockets of her camo pants and tapped the heel of her combat boots impatiently against the floor. The light of the fluorescent lamp above us flickered occasionally casting an eerie glow onto the windowless room. I sat next to Alex, placing an arm around her, her head moved to wedge itself beneath the crook of my neck, no words needed, I couldn't even begin to fathom the level of sorrow that has overcome her. To be mistreated by her own country, to be looked at as if she wasn't a living breathing soul with feelings and a good heart. To have her brother hunted out like a criminal…to lose the possible love of her life…I don't think anyone could ever handle that amount of pain, never mind attempt to explain it to someone.

I kissed the top of her head.

"We're going to get through this," I whispered, squeezing her shoulder gently.

"We're going to be okay," she nodded her head but didn't say a word.

"Open up cell thirteen," someone said from outside. All of us looked up to the door as the mechanism unlocked and slowly slid open to reveal Lennox at the door.

"Lennox!" Alex said nearly jumping out of her seat to hug him; he grasped her tightly.

"Hey kiddo," he replied, before leaning back to look her in the eyes.

"You ok?" she nodded, but he didn't look convinced.

"Good to see a familiar face," I said. Lennox looked up at me before smiling.

"Right back at ya Mags," he let go of Alex and looked us over.

"Gotta say this is a bit…different seeing you all at eye level.

"You're telling us," I replied.

"So, are you here to take us out?" Meg asked her arms crossing over her chest, his smile dropped.

"No, this…is out of my hands,"

"Damn," Meg muttered.

"Look I wanted to make sure you guys were ok,"

"Thanks," I said. "We're doing ok considering everything,"

"We've been better," Meg replied, Lennox grasped her shoulder.

"Epps told me that your brother is safe, the bots got him, he's going to be fine," by the look on her face it appeared that weight lifted off her shoulders. She reached to put her hand over his.

"Thanks,"

"What happened to our vehicles?" I asked.

"They're on lockdown, and no one from our team is handling them, it's all Galloway's men,"

"Slag," Meg muttered.

"So how long are they keeping us here?" Meg asked.

"We've got word Galloway wants to send the bots to JFK,"

"As in the space station?" I said.

"Yeah,"

"And…what about us?"

"Secure base in Nevada,"

"What about the others?" Meg asked.

"They had orders to cloak their energon signals until I said so," Alex said.

"They're looking for Sam and Michaela, trying to work a deal with the Decepticons,"

"These mother fuckers," Meg rolled her eyes.

"They do realize these are the Decepticons they're dealing with, right?"

"The same slaggers that we've been fighting for God knows how damn long now. Do they even read the incident reports we write?"

"That's not going to help us now," Alex said, she looked at Lennox straightening her posture just a bit.

"What have they done with Optimus?" I saw Lennox's jaw tighten slightly.

"The bots have him, he's safe," Alex nodded crossing her arms over her chest.

"And when are we getting transported?"

"Galloway says when they get Sam and Michaela in custody…but I don't think he'll stick to that order; I give us a week at least maybe two,"

"Damn," Meg muttered.

"Is there any way we can communicate with you guys?" I asked.

"Not without Galloway knowing, the only reason I'm here without him knowing is that the guard outside is a friend, but we can't let that be our only option," Lennox said.

"We'll figure something out Lennox," Alex said.

"I'm sorry I can't be much help right now, I'm glad to see you girls doing ok,"

"Even if you're not two stories tall and made of metal," he ruffled Alex's hair.

"You're telling us," Meg interjected, "I'm still pissed that I don't have my cannon attachments,"

"Humans don't come with those, unfortunately," I said, and that earned a small smile from everyone. But a tap on the door brought our attention to the entrance.

"Lennox Galloway is on his way," the guard said from the other side.

"What does that glitch want now?" Meg growled.

"Easy girl, don't bite the hand that feeds you,"

"No promises,"

"I'll tell the bots you guys are ok, we're going to figure this out, don't worry, bring it in," he opened his arms, and we all had a comforting group hug. The door began sliding open, the guard standing there blocking most of the entrance.

"See you girls soon," he said, and he stepped back through the door, as it began sliding shut.

"Ain't this some shit," Meg muttered.

"We can figure this out," Alex said, a sense of new found confidence resonating in her voice.

"Alex, you're the last one to be reverted to this state,"

"Is there anything you remember you could do?" Alex tapped her chin, her brow furrowed, then her eyes widened.

"The comm link," she muttered.

"Don't we need our alt modes for that?" Meg asked.

"I don't think so…I remember Optimus was able to communicate with me through a comm last time,"

"What if we take these things off?" Meg asked.

"We'll be trapped in our alt modes," I said.

"You heard Lennox, Galloway's got men keeping them hidden; he doesn't even know where they are,"

"So? we just come out guns blazing,"

"I don't think so," Alex said, pacing back and forth.

"We don't know where our alt modes are, and for all, we know they might be shipped off-base already," she drummed her fingers against her cheek.

"If we do take the necklaces off Galloway knows exactly where to find us, and we don't know the type of restraints that are on them…it's too much of a risk to do that, we need to know where our alt modes are and what's detaining them," she said looking at Meg.

"Fair enough," she replied, tapping her heel against the ground impatiently.

"So how does the comm link work?"

"Try it like we normally do I guess…I didn't initiate it last time,"

"Ok, Mags you're the expert what part of our ears would activate a comm link with our audios,"

"Most likely the portion where the temporal bone meets the pinna, most likely between the tragus and the lobule,"

"English please Dr. Cadabera," Meg said. I brought my finger up to where I said.

"Right here,"

I pressed gently on the cartilage, and I heard a faint high pitch noise, but no one responding.

Please work…

"Is anyone there?"

Silence…

Please God let this work…

"Maggie to Ratchet,"

Still nothing

"Ratchet? Please answer,"

"Magdelena?" the sound of his voice was the comfort I needed after everything. It almost made me cry just hearing him.

"Thank God! I didn't know if this would work,"

"Where are you? Are you alright?"

"I'm ok considering everything,"

"Have they done anything to you?" the sheer amount of aggression that edged his voice surprised me slightly, but I managed to smile.

"No…They have us locked up I don't know where, but we don't know where our alt modes are,"

"None of us have seen them either, was Lennox able to get to you?"

"Yes, he was able to see us…"

"I'm happy to hear your voice again though,"

"Hearing yours brings me immense peace," I smiled again, despite myself.

"Don't worry Magdalena; we will find a way to ensure your safety,"

"I believe it, hopefully, we'll see each other soon," Meg waved her hand in front of me.

"Meg needs my attention; I'll talk to you soon,"

"I'll hold you to it,"

The high pitch ringing returned, and I brought my finger away and turned to Meg.

"It worked for you?"

"Yeah, I got a hold of Ratchet,"

"Same! I got to talk to Ironhide,"

"Well at least we have a way to communicate outside of here," Meg looked past me, and her face suddenly dropped. I turned to see Alex, her knees brought up to my chest, her body shaking as she sobbed. We both went to sit beside her.

"Alex?" I whispered, rubbing her back through her red leather jacket.

"Alex look at us what happened?" Meg said, putting her hand on Alex's knees. She raised her head slightly, tears streaming down her face, her blue eyes puffy and red.

"I tried calling him…" she whimpered, I looked to Meg both of use knowing what had happened.

"I just wanted to try…to see if he was there, even a piece of him…" Alex said between sobs.

"It was so quiet…I couldn't hear anything," she ducked her head again, her body trembling and her grip on her knees tightening. I felt my tears begin to fall.

"I'm so sorry honey," I whispered, bringing both my arms around her. Meg wrapped her arms around Alex. She didn't say anything, but I could see the way her eyes got red and how her cheeks puffed up. I saw her pain, her suffering, and it was heartbreaking that I really couldn't do anything but hold her and try to comfort her.

"Why? Why did Primus let this happen?" Alex cried, more tears streaming down his face.

"I don't know honey…I don't know," I whispered, patting her head. Did he really orchestrate this? Could Primus willingly allow this to happen? Why would he do such a thing, why would he allow Megatron to return, to take Optimus from us, to leave so defenseless and broken. Why? Is indeed the question of the hour, the answer to it will remain elusive to us until we manage to get out of here.

(Optimus' POV)

Time seemed irrelevant here, often I'd see the galaxies surrounding us and wonder how time must be so finite for those who lived amongst the infinite number of planets. I could never tell how long I had been here, Primus did not mention as to how long I would be here, but he encouraged me to wander through and attempt to bring my helm to peace. It was the very last thing I was able to do, I could not see or know what was happening on earth, and whenever I tried looking through the array of solar systems for that one planet it always seemed to elude my gaze, still I tried over and over again to at least catch a glimpse of it, to try and be closer to my Autobots, even if I resided on a dimension unknown to them, I would know that I was as close as I could be to them.

"Shall we continue my son?" Primus' said, I turned to face him, his face plates turned upwards in a gentle smile.

"Yes,"

"Now that we've covered the history of the primes for you," he said moving his servos in a circular motion, a cloud of white forming between them.

"I think it's time I gave you the answers I intended for you to have," out of the cloud appeared five jewels each engraved with their own set of markings.

"There are many objects that possess some form of my power," he began. The images moved back and the All Spark floated before them.

"The All Spark is what allows life on Cybertron to be created," I responded.

"Correct, it is one of the closest objects to retain my power, and my direct link to all Cybertronians," the images before hand circled the All Spark.

"So how do the femmes come in to play?"

"This war," Primus said, suddenly reflections of a war torn Cybertron surrounded us. I felt myself tense at seeing them, the amount of grief and suffering we've endured as a race has always been my driving force to stop the war. But time and time again, our efforts never seemed to be sufficient to over throwing the Decepticons.

"This fighting between my children has gone on for far too long, I could not take the sight of watching my own kin die by that of another's servo,"

"I needed to create a cure for this virus of hate that had infected my most precious creation,"

"And this is where the femme's come in," Primus added.

"They're the answer to end the war?"

"In a way," the symbols rose away from the All Spark each on circling the other.

"They are the cure to the hatred your Decepticon brothers that have fallen victim to, they are my Five Virtues, for the future of Cybertron" from the array of silhouettes, one came forward.

"The Virtue of innocence and goodness," Primus indicated. The image glowed a warm yellow reminding me of gold.

"In order to ensure the prosperity of a good and righteous future, there must be an example of one," the image of Lillian in her Bi ped form appeared.

"Lillian embodies innocence in a way most humans don't, she treasures it, and is proud of it," the apparition of Lilly began moving about, holding small metal cylinders that sprayed color onto an unknown surface.

"Her creations are the expression of her purity, she has the ability to create the image of what Cybertronians can be," the image of Lillian disappeared, another symbol taking its place.

"The Virtue of healing and restoration," the apparition of Magdalena appeared.

"Magdalena is intelligent beyond her years, and she dedicates her very spark to ensure the wellbeing of those around her," Maggie had a data pad in her servo, filled with notations and projections of anatomical diagrams surrounded her.

"She possesses the will to help regardless of whomever needs her help, my hope is that she encourages other so disregard the labels set upon others," again the apparition disappeared, and another symbol took it's place.

"The Virtue of strength and protection," an apparition of Megara appeared.

"Despite my want for peace amongst my children, no war is ever won through peace alone," Meg had her cannons drawn, firing away at an unseen enemy, but her helm kept turning back as if she were checking for something.

"But peace can and must be protected, Megara doesn't fight for sport, she fights for what she believes and who she loves, much like yourself," he looked to me a warm smile on his faceplates.

"But as a Prime it is your duty as it is your true belief, Megara is the example others like her will connect with, they will witness the power of her passion and will and desire it for their own, and she will be the one to ensure the protection of the peace to be formed," Meg disappeared, and a new symbol moved to take her place.

"But what is protection when there is nothing to protect?" Primus asked, and an apparition of Katharine appeared.

"The Virtue of Unity amongst disarray," the femme smiled and extended her arms as if inviting for a warm embrace.

"Forming peace amongst turmoil is a challenge no doubt," Primus began.

"But Katharine doesn't come from a place of power, she exudes tranquility in her demeanor, and will do all she can to allow all those around her to reach that same peacefulness," Katy then disappeared, and the final symbol hovered before us.

"These are the virtues I know will bring forth the new age of Cybertron, each tasked with a way to free my children from this onslaught of hate, while they are formidable forces they lack on thing," the image of Alexandra appeared, and I felt myself tense at the sight of her.

"Guidance," Primus added. The image of Alex stood straight with her shoulder plates back and her face forward and proud.

"The Virtue of Leadership, to orchestrate the most effective manner of ending the tyranny the Decepticons bring, is by focusing those efforts where they are needed," Primus explained, and just like smoke Alex disappeared.

"Primes have always made the best leaders, but Alexandra possesses the moral compass that will lead Cybertron to the ultimate victory," the symbols reappeared hovering side by side right before us.

"As my chosen force, these femmes possess pure sparks, so that no matter how trying their challenges may be, they will never stray from the path they were intended upon,"

"Why did you wait so long for these femmes to come forward? And why did you decide, out of all the races that exist in this universe, that humans were the way to bring Cybertron to salvation?"

"It was not my choice to wait, seeing my children suffer will forever haunt my existence," Primuses optics turned to the floating galaxies surrounding us.

"I searched the galaxies for the ones who could bring back the glory of Cybertron, but it wasn't until I found these femmes that I knew," he looked to me, "That they would make Cybertron what it once was," I nodded my helm, contemplating his words.

"What else do you wish to ask me my son?" I faced him.

"Amongst these galaxies that we see, where is Earth?" he looked just past me and raised his servo, I turned to see this small galaxy floating towards us.

"Earth is right here," indicating to the small blue and green planet circling the star.

"Why were you looking for it?" Primus asked. I followed the planet as it orbited the sun.

"I'm right here in front of them…and they are still so far away,"

"My son," Primus breathed, "The pain you feel within you is strong, but it will not remain there for long…I promise you that,"

"When will I return to them?"

"That is one question that you know the answer to," I felt myself tremble as the solar system began floating away.

"I know you miss your brothers, I know you miss her most of all," his hand raised, and I was brought to his optic level.

"All I ask is that you trust me to bring you back to her," his comforting smile allowed a small part of me to stop and look him in the optic.

"I trust you," I breathed.

So long as if I get back to them…back to her

Me: YAY! ^_^ another chapter done! Hope you guys all liked it I worked really hard to make sure this chapter was pack filled with drama and action and all sorts of wonderful things…i.e. please don't come at me with pitchforks and knives for intentionally ripping everyone's heart out for the things that happened in this chapter because the first heart to be sacrificed was mine…(literally cried whenever I went back to re-read/edit this paper) Also this is finals week for me and on top of that I am moving to a new house/apartment right after I get out of my final exam, and I knew this week was going to be hectic so I wanted to at least get a chapter out before all that craziness started.

Jazz: you're really getting to talk some poor slaggers audio off

Me: Please do shut up, I'm running on three hours of sleep and no coffee at this point give me a break

Bee:" Just give me a break, break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar"

Me: Thank you see Bee get's it (#notsponsored)

Jazz: Whatever

Me: Anyho, thank you guys so much for your patience I am taking a few classes this summer but hopefully I will be able to up load more chapters as this tantalizingly twisted tale unfolds . Don't forget to leave a review I love hearing from you guys! And I will see you in the next chapter!

Ratchet: you wouldn't see them in the next chapter, you will only read their responses

Me:…I know but like I like to think that when I read a comment of a PM I "envision" the person reading it to me

Ratchet: So you envision another person talking to you as you read words off of a screen? Like you're doing right now with this dialogue that you've typed out?

Me: …0.o…

Ratchet: …o.o…

Me: …o.0…

Ratchet: …o.o…

Me: …0.0…

Ratchet: …-_-…

Me: this is too much meta thinking for me right now, I'm going to bed at the reasonable hour of 1:30 am to wake up for my 8 am class, I bid you goodnight good sir, and fare well to my beautiful readers, until we meet again ^_^
