From the rewrite that will probably never happen: My writing has changed so much, and I've always wanted to redo this. This story in general. But I don't have time to really. But I was sorely missing my Mew Mews and missing writing in general and I had motivation so this just... happened. It's the beginning of Chapter 6 redone for your enjoyment. Though the dialogue I'm still not sure about towards the end but please forgive me... It's been awhile without my Mew Muse.

The place that had been decided upon was an old, abandoned shipyard. A forgotten crane surrounded by rusting metal crates towarded dangerously above a deserted building. The dust and shadows were mingling together to create a foreboding atmosphere as the two groups of magical girls entered the area together in their civilian forms. There was no one else around for miles.

Except the two lone Senshi towering above them; making use of the building's height and dim lighting.

The Mew Mews and Inner Senshi stopped as Rei pointed up towards them, a serious expression on their faces.

"They really are serious, aren't they?" Lettuce asked sheepishly, a nervous fist pressing againt her chest.

"Tokyo Mew Mew!" There were frowns and concerned expressions all around as Sailor Uranus called out, the dust seeming to clear a bit, the two transformed Outer Senshi appearing from the silhouttes. "Send out your champions if you truly think your ready for a fight!" She demanded.

From behind the other girls, Minto stepped forward, her eyes closed and her expression somber as she walked untransformed. Uranus' mouth opened in surprise as Minto opened her eyes and looked upwards. Neptune's right hand lifted to her chin as she tilted her head.

"Aizawa-san..." She said evenly. "What a delight." Minto met Sailor Neptune's curious expression with cold determination.

"Kaiou-sensei." She acknowlged.

"SENSEI?!" A collection of the group behind her exclaimed. Zakuro's eyes narrowed as she kept them on the back of Minto's head. She saw Minako's evaluating eyes glance her way but she paid her no attention.

"I will be your opponent, Kaiou-sensei." Minto continued evenly, ignoring the outburst behind her. Neptune's soft smile remained but there was an unreadable glimmer in her eyes. Uranus watched her for a second uncertainly but then turned back to the group bellow.

"And your partner?" She requested. Purin smiled brightly and began to take a step forward; the idea had been to have Mew Pudding in the mix to prevent another outburst against their age but Minto held out a hand to the side.

"I will fight both of you alone!" Neptune's hand lowered and she kept her arms crossed, the gleam in her eye showing no surprise, Uranus seemed to frown beside her and Purin stopped midstep.

"But..." She blinked in surprise. "Minto Onee-chan!" She began to move forward again quickly, but Zakuro grabbed her gently by the shoulder. Purin looked up at her in confusion.

"Let Minto do this."

"Zakuro-san?" Ichigo questioned and Minako stepped in beside Zakuro as they watched the encounter continue.

"We won't go easy on you." Sailor Uranus warned, a small smile starting to form as she spoke. Minto nodded and she lifted the power pendant.

"And I will not go easy on you." She declared and Sailor Uranus let out a small sound that could have been a laugh, though it was clear to Minako it was more out of admiration than disrespect.

"You sure she can do this?" She asked lowly to Zakuro.

"Mew Mew Minto! Metamoriphosis!"

Zakuro nodded.

The blue light broke around Mew Minto and she snapped her gaze back upwards. "I am Mew Minto! For the future of the Earth," She kicked off of the ground and soared towards them, "I will be of service!"

"World Shaking!" The whirlwind of energy spun towards Minto and she twisted rapidly around it. The group bellow hurried back away from the fighting but never took their eyes off of the fighting parties. The two Senshi's attacks were fearfully powerful, and if Mew Minto wasn't careful, one attack would probably knock her out of the sky and to the ground, it would be over before it even really started. Sailor Uranus prepared another go immediately, her Talisman forming in her waiting hand. "Space Sword Blaster!" This time she aimed farther ahead of Mew Minto, but still the girl easily dodged the swirling attacks that attempted to block her in; her swift agility her advantage. "Neptune!" Neptune stepped forward oblidgingly.

"Wolrd-!" "Deep-!" Mew Minto was now angled above them, her hands outstretched as she continued to soar and she summoned her bow. "Shaking!" "Submerge!" There was a wave of horror as Mew Minto positioned herself directly in Sailor Neptune's range of fire.

"Ribbon Minto Echo!" The arrow pierced through the watery attack as it cleared the top of the roof, and it scattered in a multitude of directions, sending Uranus' own attack off course and the top of the nearby crane rocked dangerously. The hook swung towards the roof of deserted building. Mew Minto descended upon it as the two Senshi gathered their bearings. "Ribbon Minto Echo!" She shouted quickly again. The cable snapped at the top of the hook and the object continued to fly towards the two Senshi. The two jumped out of the way and Mew Minto set her eyes on Uranus. "Ribbon Minto Echo!" The arrow struck her in the shoulder and she staggered backwards.

"Submarine Reflection!" The combination of light and water struck Mew Minto and she fell onto the rooftop opposite the Senshi. Sailor Uranus had recovered and rushed forward with her Talisman in hand. Mew Minto lifted her head and was springing to her feet offensively, her bow already drawn back.

"Space Sword Blaster!" Minto dodged the attack by inches, the heat of it tingling on her skin and the blast sending her aim off center, but true enough.

"Echo!" She managed as it shot forward. Sailor Uranus cut downward, blocking the arrow from hitting her lower body, but Mew Minto was on top of her, Sailor Neptune unable to prevent it.

"Uranus!" Mew Minto's feet collided with Sailor Uranus' face and she shouted in pain and then surprise as she tripped backwards over the edge of the rooftop. "Haruka!" Sailor Neptune remained where she was as she watched Mew Minto dive downwards after Sailor Uranus who was getting her bearings, only to meet Mew Minto's fierce gaze. Instead of shooting her squarely in the chest like Uranus expected, the girl grabbed hold of her shoulders, and with surprising strenght, slowed her decent and Uranus touched ground gently.

"You're out!" Minto declared heatedly and Uranus chuckled in consent as the girl soared upwards, arching with her bow drawn in Mirchiru's direction. Mew Minto twisted in the air upside down as she released her attack. Sailor Neptune dodged it expertly, jumping back as it hit the roof and the building shook dangerously.

"No wonder you've changed..." Neptune said evenly as she landed on the rooftop. The Mew Mew hovered above her with her bow to the side.

"What do you mean?" Neptune smirked.

"One can't continue to lack character... This life forces one to face their insecurities..." Mew Minto drew her bow.

"Ribbon Minto Arrow!" Sailor Neptune easily dodged it once again.

"Still so petty..." It couldn't be certain if she was referring to Minto or the attack itself. Neptune landed and Mew Minto glared at her. "But something is better than nothing... But you lack a soldier's dignity. A child playing games."

"You're wrong..." Mew Minto said loudly and Neptune's smirk remained. "This didn't change me..." Minto continued darkly. "I found friends who believe in me!"

"Oh?"

"And I do understand." Neptune didn't react and her expression seemed amused yet unreadable.

"I've yet to see that." Mew Minto gritted her teeth angrily and she drew her bow.

"..Minto Echo!" Neptune lifted her Talisman and reflected the arrow upwards easily.

"Is an attack going to prove it to me?" Neptune asked as she lowered her mirror and stepped to the side as she put it away. "You need another lesson in how to handle a bow, Aizawa-san.." She produced her Stradivarius and closed her eyes as she put it up to her neck. "I'll show you a real attack with a bow. Submarine Violin Tide!" The waves of sound crashed upon Mew Minto and she found herself unable to withstand it and fell to the rooftop feeling crushed. She struggled to remain standing as the attack persisted, one eye opened as the other pressed closed with her teeth clenched as her hands pressed over her ears, but it couldn't help with the physical weight that was trying to drown her. Slowly her arms lowered and she took a step forward, her hands reaching out slowly. She drew the arrow back with difficulty and let out a loud scream as she aimed it at Neptune's capable hands. The arrow went flying and Neptune was forced to take a step back in surprise as the violin's bow scattered behind her out of reach.

"I may be weaker than you, but I have a strong will and so much to fight for! And those things I fight for give me strength." Minto flew up into the air once more. "My friends and I fight for friendship! We fight because there are things in our lives we care for! That we want to protect!" With each declaration Minto sent a new arrow flying from a new direction in the sky, but Sailor Neptune continued to deflect them each time. "We've been in a real fight!" Minto shouted and there was pure emotion building up in her voice. "To protect what we love!" There were tears in her eyes. "ICHIGO DIED FOR IT!" Another arrow struck Sailor Neptune's hand and she let out a small hiss of pain as she recoiled. Mew Minto lifted her bow again in determination, and this time, something within her stirred differently; the string felt different in between her fingers and a voice within her rang out as she lifted the bow a bit higher. "Ribbon Mintone Resound!" The arrow shot and mid-air the light around it waivered strangly as it seperated into blurred barrage. Sailor Neptune gasped and she leaped to the side, her mirror at the ready, but several of the lights struck her and she yelped as she landed roughly on the roof. She began to pick herself up and found Mew Minto's arrow in her face. "There is too much at stake to sit idly by..." Sailor Neptune's smirk returned and her eyes closed as she lowered her chin.

"It seems you've become rather virtuous..." She offered Mew Minto her hand and the girl hesitated a moment before lowering her bow and accepting it, helping the woman to her feet with what could have also been a handshake before letting go. The two stood across from each other, Neptune's expression never changing. "I can't wait for your next performance, Mew Minto..." Mew Minto allowed a smile to break out across her face as she bowed slightly.

"Tokyo Mew Mew would be happy to make our encore..."
