Hey guys I appreciate you reviews so much, some fantastic ideas and some warnings about spelling. Thanks for all the advice! I do realise that Zoro may seem a bit OOC but it's the best I can do, considering there isn't really romance in One Piece, so I have to do my best to keep character and make a love story at the same time. Hope everyone is enjoying it so far!

Chapter 36- Preparing

Yuu felt as though he was being stared at, he walked through the town silently and wasn't making a scene, however he couldn't avoid the cold glares of the fishman. 'It's like they have never seen a human before.' He thought to himself. No matter how hard he tried, he could feel the stares on the back of his head. 'I must look as insane as I feel, that still gives them no right to stare.' He continued to walk through the town until he found a clothing store, where he purchased a dark cloak which would cover his face. "That's better." He said, with a slightly sadistic smile, "Now they won't notice me."

"Robin, may I ask, what exactly do you need in a graveyard?"

Robin chuckled, it was the fifth time Hunter had asked that question, but she still had no clear response. "You'll see." Was all that Robin would say each time, keeping the girl quiet for a few minutes, before she would ask again.

Hunter sighed, "Meanie." She called out and began to veer towards a more interesting looking part of the island.

"Where are you going?" Robin called out.

"You'll find out." Hunter said, smirking.

"Kids," Robin said, "You never know what they're up to."

Hunter had seen her ship, and thought she would check out why it was there. Quietly creeping towards it, she didn't want to be caught if thieves were on board. She heard a door slam and took a peak at her ship. A merman she couldn't identify was standing in front of the Sunny, he looked as though he was waiting for someone but his guard was dropped, Hunter saw this as a perfect attempt to strike.

She leapt up, quickly pulling out her dagger, pinning the merman to the floor she pressed her knife to his throat. "Who are you ad what do you want with our ship."

"Where the hell did you come from?" He asked.

"That doesn't answer my question." Hunter growled.

"Please, I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding." He begged.

"Misunderstanding my ass."

"HUNTER NO!" She heard someone yell, "He's a friend." She immediately hopped off the merman and turned to see who had spoken to her. She saw Franky holding some form of tool. "He's my old mentor's brother, he has offered to help me fix the ship."

"Oh… sorry, I didn't mean to."

"No I understand ." The merman replied. "You have some good friends Franky."

Zoro didn't know why, but he had gone from searching for Hunter, to being locked in a cell, to fighting fishman, to being locked up again. He was beyond pissed off, but he didn't know who to blame for all of this. "Stupid freaking cage." He yelled. He had been waiting for Brook to return with his swords but the skeleton's expedition had gone for far too long. The water was rising at an incredible speed and it wouldn't be long before he, and the long nosed crew member could no longer breathe.

Just as Zoro was about to find another way out of the cage Brook returned with his swords and the triad were able to make a fast and easy escape.

Yuu could see a large gathering in the centre of the town, he knew that he risked drawing unwanted attention to himself if he were to investigate what was happening, but his eagerness to know what was going on had gotten the better of him. He stuck to the shadows, as far away as possible from the crowds, but close enough to hear what was going on, he was shocked to hear that his crew had been disposed of and was about to go search for any conscience member when it struck.

'I don't see why you go after them, they are just a bunch of weaklings after all.' The voice called.

"They are my family now, I have to help them." Yuu tried his best to hold back the urge to kill.

'You know, if you just killed them all we wouldn't have this issue.' The voice was tempting, it told Yuu to do things that he didn't want to, but it seemed to convince him each time.

"I can't kill them."

'Why not?'

"I… I just can't."

'You are fooling yourself Yuu, I know you want to kill them.'

"I don't."

'Your sister favours them over you, even after everything you have done for her.' Yuu knew that he should have ignored what the voice was saying but it was already too late. He held back the urge to laugh maniacally, and licked his lips.

"You'll all be here soon, but when you arrive, the fisman won't be your enemy, I will be."

After a lengthy, heroic story from Jinbei, and the discussion of a plan which was sure to work. Hunter found herself on her ship, heading towards Hordy in the plaza where she would have to fight. She stared into space as they advanced towards the battle ground, not noticing that three more of her crew members had joined the team.

She was shocked when she felt a hand press against her shoulder, she turned to see Zoro behind her and was lost for words. "I'm sorry." He said, staring at the floor.

Hunter got over her initial shock and spoke, "Don't be, you were only trying to help." She smile and gave the swordsman a quick peck on the lips. "Good luck." She said.

"You too."

Well as you can tell, this was a build-up chapter, next chapter the big fight I absolutely loved your idea and hope to use it in the next chapter! As for all the other readers I love you heaps and feel free to ask me any questions.
