Chapter 36
5 years later…
Time had gone by fast, too fast…
Allen grabbed her luggage and exited the train to be met with applause.
Everyone from the Order was crowded into the train station awaiting her arrival, the victor of the war. She walked out and was patted on the back and shook her hand, for it was she who killed the Earl.
Alex (7) pushed his way through the crowd, holding onto his siblings' hands (5).
Allen smiled and kneeled down, dropping her suitcase.
Yuki and Nolan's faces light up and they ran to their Mommy, running into her arms.
Allen kissed both of them on the cheek. "Hey guys, sorry it took so long. Mommy was very busy with work."
Alex walked over, staying a little distant. Over time he had learned that he was different. He didn't look like his family and the people in white treated him badly. Even Daddy sometimes looked at him like he didn't belong.
Allen looked over at her other son and motioned for him to come here.
Alex walked over and she kissed his cheek too and held him.
"You took good care of them Alex, thank you."
Alex smiled.
Lenalee informed Komui of casualties and who stayed behind to take care of the rest of the Noah.
Lenalee walked with Allen and her children back to their rooms. Lenalee was so excited. After five long years, tonight she is finally getting married.
Allen loved seeing Lenalee so happy. "Alright. See you tonight. Call me if you need anything."
"Alright Allen. Bye guys!" She waved to the kids.
The three waved back and followed their mother inside their living quarters.
Alex started a game of hide and seek and let Allen slip away to take a shower. She found a nice little white dress with black trim and got a shower, washing the dirt and blood off her. She then bandaged the cuts and scrapes on her body, including her legs, arms, and face. She slipped on her dress and played with the kids a bit.
"Allen." Timcanpy crackled, projecting Komui's voice.
"Yes?" She asked.
"The remaining exorcists are home."
Excited, she ran to her room to grab some shoes and paused when she noticed Kanda's nightstand. She walked over and gently picked up Kanda's lotus hourglass. The flower was completely dead, all of its leaves on the bottom of the hourglass, turning brown. Allen set the case down, unaware of what the hourglass was and grabbed her shoes before getting her kids and walking out to meet her husband.
