Hey guys, sorry for the hiatus, been dealing with things and such. But I'm back in action to bring you more of what you guys love. So without further rambling, let's get this party started.
Naruto was hanging out with Menma as the twin Nephilim were at a bar, having a few drinks as the girls were all relaxing at the Hot Springs. The two Nephilim having come back from a little event that had them busy.
"So, I know it's been a while since you went through this. But was there anything you got out of your little trip through time besides your new toys?" Menma asked as Naruto smiled and replied.
"Figured you would ask, so I went ahead and got you a little souvenir." Naruto said as he reached into his coat and brought out a talisman that had the seal of the Olympian Gods on it as he handed it over to Menma.
"If you want to test your skills and see if you can get some rewards, you're welcome to try at the eternal coliseum." Naruto told his brother as Menma accepted the gift. The younger brother examined the talisman before storing it away in his pocket as he replied.
"Thank you, I'll give it a try later. So on a scale of one to ten, how bad did Sigui want to strangle you?" Menma chuckled before taking a sip of his drink.
"Pretty sure she wanted to make me eat my own balls for abandoning them." Naruto replied with his own smirk.
(In the Hot Springs)
"This is great…" Mai let out a pleased sigh as she sank into the waters. She, Morrigan, the Sekirei along with Ahei and Sona were all relaxing, oh and several others ranging from Werbellia, Akeno, Iroha, the Belmont ladies, the R+V groupie and several of Naruto's friends (Its ladies day).
"I'm enjoying this place, can't really see why Naruto thinks bad of it." Lilith said as she was relaxing. Morrigan just smiled and replied.
"That's because he rather left out the information of how certain things work in this world. In short, it's dog-eat-dog here." She said as Lilith understood. Morrigan then looked to Akeno and spoke up.
"It's nice to see you, lady Himejima, I take it your now keeping an active watch over the twins now?" She asked as Akeno nodded and replied.
"Correct, it's nice to see them grown up, though I suppose we could make up for the last time…" She commented as Ahri nudged her elbow against Akeno's side.
"I'm sure you can get to enjoy all your kinks later." She said as Akeno blushed mildly.
"I must admit, the little punk managed to attract interesting lovers." Lady commented with a chuckle as she would give him shit about his past habits of sleeping with strippers, he just replied when was she going to get into Dante's pants as the two joked around from time to time.
"I agree there, who would have thought he managed to score this big." Trish added her two cents in as she smiled.
"Speaking of, where is master?" Iroha asked as she was curious why he and his brother vanished.
"Beats me, mentioned something about something big." Karasuba replied as she had her eyes closed. That's when the others (their old friends) decided to join in and try and figure out how the group knew the two Nephilim.
"Ms. Aensland…" Moka started as Morrigan interrupted.
"Oh, feel free to call me Morrigan, Ms. Aensland makes me feel old." She replied as Moka corrected herself.
"Morrigan, how exactly did you and Naruto meet?" She asked as Morrigan let out a giggle at the curiosity of Naruto's old friends, who she could say were quite a group of beauties too.
"Well, I met him a while back in during a little assignment. Conveniently he was also planning on leaving Limbo City as well, he decided to join our little group and that's how things have been ever since." She replied as Mai added her comment.
"Let's not forget he's the only one to who can put you into a sexual coma." The kunoichi giggled as Morrigan just smiled at that.
"Speaking of fun, nice little brand you placed on him, Akeno." Mai said to the Fallen Angel, who just grinned.
"Thanks, it's my way of tracking him in case he runs off, sort of like how a dog chip works." She explained as Tronne Bonne just laughed.
"We did that once to him and he ended up tearing it out of himself." She said. Werbellia opened her eyes as she decided to get some answers from Naruto's friends.
"If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is that Mr. Cruz does for a living?" She asked as she turned her gaze to Morrigan and Mai.
"Well he does a number of this as his work. Supernatural Investigator, Mercenary, Bounty Hunter, Demolitions Specialist and Clean Up." Morrigan answered as Mai chipped in.
"And he's also a good musician." She smiled at that.
"What do you mean by Demolitions Specialist?" Nyx asked as she was curious. Morrigan just tapped the water as it rippled out and formed a mirror of sorts as it began showing a scene of an ongoing conflict within a European country between Hydra and Shield.
"Attention to all units, now would be a great time to pull out of the battleground as clean-up is coming in." Nick Fury said into the communicator earpiece as Naruto gave his signal he was ready. He ran and jumped off the Hellecarrier, his form emanating fiery smoke as he dive-bombed to the fight below. Hydra cheered as Shield was leaving the place when a large object crashed into the main fortress, sending out a shockwave that turned the closest soldiers to ashes as Naruto, now in his demon form, burst out of the wreckage with a roar. The colossal demon tore through the Hydra forces, weaponry and defenses with ease. Naruto condensed power into his hands as he punched them into the ground as this sent out another shockwave that incinerated the remainder of Hydra's forces within a 500 feet radius. All that was left was the wreckage of the building and their equipment as Naruto returned to normal as he cracked his neck and reached his boss through his ear-piece.
"All good here, Mr. Fury." He stated as he walked to the fortress to get what he was assigned to. Morrigan ended the scene as she spoke.
"In short, he's sent in to deal with problems if they take too long or get out of hand." The Elder Succubus said as the others understood.
"And what entails for clean up?" Sigui asked as she was wondering how much of her old friend she didn't know about. Morrigan just formed another scene as this one showed Naruto entering the scene of a grisly battle arena after he just finished taking care of the ring leaders. He simply reached into his coat and brought out a small magical device that he set on the floor in the center of the room and activated it, letting out a hum and all the blood in the arena was being sucked into it. Once finished, Naruto picked it up and put it away as he transformed into his angelic form and began collecting the souls of the corpses here and then burning the bodies with blue/black fire as this left no trace of evidence. Returning to normal and his work finished, Naruto left the place as he brought out his phone to report his work done. That scene was ended as Lady spoke up.
"In short, he does assignments most of us would rather not do. Though he does his other work just fine. He works for both Dante and Nr. Fury as his main mode of income." She explained.
"I'm curious as to why he hid his little fight against the angels from us." Ahri asked as she didn't see those memories when she read his thoughts back when she re-united with him.
"I got the answer from him after a nice 'talk'." Trish said as Jill snorted.
"More like you about skinned him alive and put enough electricity through him to power the entire East Coast." She commented as Trish continued.
"He told us his reasoning was that he didn't want to have us end up being caught in the middle of his little war with them. That's why he went underground, to handle his own issues without bringing in unwanted attention that could result in casualties." She explained as the others understood.
"Still should have let us know of some means of his disappearance." Lilith muttered as she looked up to Naruto as a big brother of sorts, though sometimes those feelings take a different turn when she sees him shirtless.
"In any case, it's good to have him back." Mai said as the others agreed.
"If you don't mind me asking, how has he been these past 12 years?" Claudette asked as he figured that he old friends went through some big changes.
"So you wish to know more of your old friend, I suppose I could give some information on him…" Morrigan began as the others listened in.
(Back with the twins)
They had exited the bar as Shiina was with them, sitting on Naruto's shoulders as the twins were having a conversation.
"So what's on the agenda today, the girls are all relaxing at the Hot Springs and the guys are just roaming about." Naruto asked as he handed Shiina a piece of jerky.
"Well, I'm sure we could spend some time honing our skills, that and I want further progress by abilities as we still have our little competition." Menma said as Naruto nodded as he excused himself to go get his lottery ticket checked in, he came out a bit later with the grand prize as he handed it over to Menma.
"Granted we're loaded, a little money for some fun wouldn't hurt to have." Naruto said as Menma nodded and replied.
"True." He said as they continued their walk.
(Back with the ladies)
"That's a general summary of how he's been over the years." Morrigan concluded as she gave a summary of Naruto's past after the destruction of his family and when he came back.
"He's been busy, I can say that much." Ahri commented as she was amazed of what her lover went through and managed to make it out alright, but changed. That's when the Hot Spring sliding doors opened up to reveal a familiar face, to Ahri and Sona at least.
"Lady Karma?" Ahri said in surprise as she and Sona looked to the woman in surprise. The woman smiled back as she replied.
"Lady Buvelle, Lady Ahri, so nice to see you two again. I was curious why you two left Runeterra a while back along with resigning from the League." Karma said as she joined into the massive Hot Springs (The divider was taken out as its all female day). Ahri was about to answer when Karma continued.
"However I finally understand why now, I must say that the two are quite the pair of unique brothers. Congratulations on the ceremonies." She said as Ahri and Sona soon realized what she meant by brothers.
"Wait, how did you meet them?" Ahri asked as she or Sona never really told the twins of the spell they used to move to and fro into Runeterra. Karma then spoke again as she let it be known she wasn't alone.
"In here, ladies. I found them." She said as the doors opened again, this time to reveal several other females, both the Fox and the Maven knew them well, they were all friends after all.
"Girls, what are you doing here?" Ahri asked as she was greatly surprised at seeing her close friends again. Sure they kept in contact with communication spells, but she and Sona wondered how they came here. Soon there were more people in the Hot Springs as Ahri and Sona greeted their friends, that's when they decided to get answers.
"Alright, how did you girls get here, last I remember, Sona and I were the only two who knew the spell to get to her and back from Runeterra." Ahri asked as she wanted an answer. LeBlanc decided to answer that one as the others were either relaxing or speaking to the others.
"Well you were as we were all curious why you left, but then your little boy toys helped us in our time of need and brought us here." She said as this only brought more confusion to Ahri and Sona.
"What do you mean by that?" Ahri asked as Riven answered.
"Runeterra is no more." She replied as this had the Maven and Nine-Tailed Fox in shock.
"Explain?" Werbellia commanded as she was wondering what they were conversing about, though she had an answer already.
"And who are you?" Ashe asked as she sensed that this horned woman had some familiarity to Ahri with how she sensed.
"I'm Ahri's mother." She answered as this threw her friends in for a loop, but they decided to store that away for later and get back to the main point.
"Long story short, the political tensions grew higher ever since the League disbanded a couple months back, things spilled out into war when Aatrox murdered the council members all trying to work out a joint treaty and things snowballed from there. Our war engulfed the world and it was dying as a result. We believed that we were finished as those that managed to survive on the side of peace were driven to Ionia and we were being overwhelmed by both the chaos and forces of corruption. However things changed when the two young men appeared and helped us evacuate and hold off the invaders for us to reach here." Katarina said as Werbellia nodded and formed a vision mirror on the surface of the water and spoke again.
"Show us how things went, from my child and her friend leaving all the way to when you were brought here by the twins." She said as Karma nodded and added a bit of her power to the spell and it flared to life. The first scene was of Ahri and Sona saying their goodbyes to their friends before they left through a portal with their bags and after they resigned from the Institute. The following scenes showed that with the Institute vanishing, the political situation was getting worse. Borders were militarized and nations were on defense as things were not looking good. Like it was explained, things escalated to all-out war as Aatrox murdered the people trying to make a joint treaty, the Darkin wanting chaos to harvest as a war far more destructive than any in Runeterra's past ensued. Many died along with a good majority of the former champions, those that survived and were trying to make it out alive were ultimately saved by the timely intervention of the Nephilim twins as they jumped into the fray and took down the more powerful of the invasion force as they evacuated the survivors before Runeterra entered the final stages of its destruction. The last scene was Menma and Naruto helping out those from Runeterra and opting to help them make a new home and such, though there were some questions as some of Ahri's friends realized there was a connection between her and Naruto.
The vision mirror ended as Morrigan commented.
"Well now, seemed like your world was a wonderful place, before the events that occurred leading to its destruction." She said as Riven nodded and replied.
"While it is painful to lose one's home, there are opportunities to begin anew, thankfully Mr. Cruz and his brother helped us out." She said as Mai added.
"In any case, I think you and your fellow people might quickly adapt to this world, it's nice here." She commented.
"Never would have thought you of all people would finally settle down, Man-Eater." Zyra said to Ahri as the Fox just rolled her eyes before giving Zyra the finger.
"For your information, overgrown weed, my private life isn't there to stick your nose in and secondly, I'm glad you were all so gullible." She replied with a classy smirk as this confused most of her friends as Karma replied.
"I had a hunch your reasons for joining the league and the official story were fabricated…" she said as Ahri nodded.
"Yep, I'm actually from this world, Merlin helped me remain under cover and not draw unwanted attention do to my past." She replied as Lux asked.
"Wait, so all the stories and rumors of you going about seducing men to their deaths…" She began as Ahri answered.
"Yep, all false and made up to help retain my cover, while I did kill, it was only the people who couldn't take the hint and that no means no." Ahri replied as she remembered giving herself to Naruto on the night of his return, she remained pure before then.
"I heard you've been holding back this whole time whenever we were on the fields." Vi commented as Ahri smirked and replied.
"Don't push your luck, I'll can easily wipe the floor with you on a bad day." The Fox giggled with mirth as their conversation continued.
(Later that day)
The gang was all back home as they were having dinner, the girls having come back from their relaxation at the Hot Springs and the boys getting a few things for the house.
"So how was your time with the others?" Menma asked Sona after taking a sip of his drink.
'It was so good to see my friends again, while the destruction of my old home is unfortunate, I am glad they are safe and sound.' She replied as Ahri spoke up to Naruto.
"Speaking of my friends, how come you never told us you two went to Runeterra and helped them?" She asked as Naruto replied.
"I was going to tell you once your break was over, thought it looks like your friends wanted to see you again." He said as Ahri just pecked him on the cheek and responded.
"Thank you for helping them." Naruto smiled to her as they returned to eating. Over the next days' / a week, Ahri and Sona were helping their friends adjust to their new home and set a permanent residence somewhere, the Nephilim twins were training with the Sons of Sparda, and the Sekirei were enjoying themselves as life was good. Of course Naruto and Menma were going to be ready for what the girls (their old friends) were going to throw at them in the finals, seeing that some of them were in less than stellar moods. Other than that, Naruto was trying to figure out a way to get rid of the legacy his old man left for him and his brother, the whole Demonic Castle and its legions of the supernatural who want him to take his rightful place on the throne and re-ignite the war on mankind.
Needless to say, this was something Naruto and Menma did NOT want to do, so they were working on a way to try and seal away the castle for good, lest it manages to return and cause chaos. Speaking of the twins, they were currently having a small sparring session within the training room.
"So, any plans for the future?" Menma asked as he dodged gunfire from his brother.
"Never really thought of it, been enjoying the present, living with how things are now." Naruto replied as the two clashed blades. They combatted each other to a standstill as Naruto added.
"Though I wouldn't mind settling down later on, as I'm still pretty active." He replied with a smile as their fight continued.
"What about you, any plans in the near future?" He asked his younger brother as Menma just replied back.
"Well, I for one don't mind setting roots as this world WAS our home, take or give some specifications. Plus I want to make sure that I'm there for them and not some deadbeat." He replied as their fight continued on as they talked about other things of the future. For now, things were doing swell for the Nephilim duo.
(Later that night)
The Belmont girls and the R+V girls were walking to their homes in a group as they got back from watching a movie. Right now their small conversation was on their old friends, and their wonderings on how they have come.
"Still, it's good to see them again, right?" Nyx asked as she was happy to see the twins again after so long, and curious of how things were for them. Her elder sisters were more neutral/a bit angry. The R+V Girls were mixed reactions,
"But still, to think that he had a hand in our recovery from that virus…" Claudette commented as she glanced to the moon. They continued their conversation and walk when Sigui held up her hand and they stopped.
"Do you hear that?" She asked as the others nodded as they heard, singing? The group followed it until they found the source. Morrigan was relaxing on the roof of one of the lavish casinos, resting on the Golden Fish Ornament as she was singing a wonderful melody. Morrigan's eyes opened as she reached the end of her song and her gaze turned to the audience she gained.
"Well, well, fancy meeting you girls here. Did you enjoy the song?" She asked with a smile as she looked to them.
"Hold on a second, you're that one chick who hangs out with Naruto!" Kurumu called out as she pointed as Morrigan just giggled and replied.
"Why yes, I do. After all, I do enjoy spending time with my dear husband of course." Morrigan purred out as this surprised the group of old friends.
"Hot damn, Naruto's hitched with that?" Nyx said surprised like the others as Morrigan just smirked.
"Just who are you exactly?" Kurumu demanded as she, like the others, were curious of Morrigan and Naruto's other friends that came by, not to mention the girls they have with them.
"Why I'm surprised you don't know of me, Miss Kurono. We are of the same race…" Morrigan replied as this surprised the group, again.
"You're a Succubus?" Claudette asked as she was surprised to see another, since they were one of the many endangered races left out there. Morrigan just nodded and answered.
"That I am, though there are some differences that separate myself from the little one here." Morigan said as Kurumu took offense.
"Hey, I am not little!" she yelled out as Morrigan just smiled again. She just moved a hand down from her collar and down her body, smirking as the message had gotten across. Kurumu just growled out as she really didn't like being outclassed in looks.
"As much as I'd like for this conversation to go on, I want to play now." Lilith said as she appeared next to Morrigan as she smiled down at the girls.
"How so, there are more of us than you?" Ruby asked as Mai landed on a nearby rooftop, followed by Naruto's Sekirei and Ahri.
"I hope we're not late." Kazehana asked as she cracked her whip with humor.
"Wait, where is Iroha and Akeno?" Lilith asked as she didn't see the two.

Down in the arena, the contestants were all standing to attention and ready as some of them were determined, others were a bit nervous and one was in a good mood, that person being Menma as he had on his Trilby. His phone went off as he brought it out and opened up the message sent.

Menma noticed from the reflection on his phone of a comet of sorts falling through the sky high up in the atmosphere as he sensed his brother. He just chuckled and put his phone away.
"Why are you laughing?" Sigui asked as she looked to the younger Nephilim with narrowed eyes as Menma just moved a bit like the text asked.
"Nothing at all, might want to get a good stance." He replied as this confused Sigui and the others.
"What do you mean by-" One of them began when something impacted the ground with enough force to throw everyone back hard as the audience felt the force of the impact itself, smoke/dust was thrown up as whatever it was, it left a crater that ate out a good 20 foot diameter of the crash zone in the arena, right in the middle. Menma was the only one of the contenders standing as he was not bothered by it, standing at the lip of the crater as he watched with a smile. Everyone was silent as the dust and smoke settled to reveal an armored figure in a crouched down position, right fist to the floor in the center of the crater. The other contestants recovered as they all got up as did the armored figure. The armor was like anything unseen as the figure just stood there, unmoving and silent ((DOOM 4 protagonist armor)).
"You know how to make an entrance, brother." Menma spoke to break the silence as the armored figure nodded to him and took off his helmet, revealing Naruto as he ran an armored hand through his hair with a smirk.
"That I do, bro." He replied as he chuckled.
Chapter completed, granted this one was shorter compared to the others, it's mostly because I'm finishing this story off. Seeing as I planned on closing it after the friends reunite and all settle in. Though I'm not 100% sure if I should continue more with this.
