Kagome and the rest of the Rikkaidai Regulars made their way to a table near the bus stop for the players, watching as the teams made their way inside to watch the finals. Sitting down next to Marui who was pulling a piece of gum. Kagome snatched one out of his hand before he could put the pack away and popped it into her mouth. "Nai...Sanada-Senpai, you talked to Buchou yesterday, right?"

"Hai,"

"..." Kagome brought a hand to the sleeve of the too large Regulars jacket that she wore. "Is he okay?"

"Mm, he's better. He's just resting now. The doctors want to keep him and watch him for a while longer before releasing him...but Yukimura-San is doing much better."

"Then...let us fight...and take home a victory this time."

"Here they come..." Akaya grinned with a twisted look in his eyes as he looked over the straw in the cup of Grape Ponta that he was drinking.

Kagome glanced at the drink with a frown, "when did you get that?"

"While you guys were talking, yours is in my bag."

Eyes lighting up, Kagome dived for his bag and pulled out a chilled Grape Ponta and the straw that was next to it. "Sankyu!"

Shaking his head, Akaya turned his attention back to the Seigaku regulars. "I wonder who we'll face."

"Does it matter?" Kagome asked curiously, a knowing smirk lay playfully on her lips as she tucked her hair into Yukimura's jacket, a hat pulled down low to hide her eyes and shade her face from onlookers.

"The result will be the same anyway..." Niou commented from next to Marui and Kagome, his eyes closed as he allowed himself to pay no more attention to the Seigaku regulars than he deemed necessary.

Marui jumped when his gum popped and plastered itself against his face.

"But you shouldn't underestimate them," Jackal said, bopping Niou lightly on the head with a water bottle.

"There are several passionate guys on Seigaku's team." Yanagi added.

Yagyu nodded, "All we can do is play at our best."

"Hai~!" Akaya, Marui and Kagome called out in unison.

"Puuu~ri..." Niou placed his hand on his chin and opened his eyes, glancing over the team that they would be playing against soon.

"Okay," Sanada stood, "let's go."

Kagome glanced up excitedly, "can we see the line up?! Let me see!" Kagome ran up beside Sanada who looked at her with a raised brow, but she grinned and ignored the look. Happy when he gave into her pleading and held the paper out to her. "...ehh~!?" Kagome sighed, "...I have such a long wait?"

"Not necessarily."

Kagome tilted her head curiously, but handed the paper back to Sanada who took it back before turning it into the registration table. "Hm..." Kagome stared for a moment at the Seigaku tennis Regulars before her eyes widened, "...hey...one, two, three...four...five...and six...aren't they missing someone?"

Marui leaned his chin on Kagome's shoulder and counted silently to himself. "That spiky haired guy and the bandana wearing guy...they are both missing. It'll suck if they have to forfeit."

Kagome patted Marui on the head, causing him to lift his chin off of her before she walked off towards Seigaku.

"Nai, Neko-Chan!"

Eiji jumped and turned around to see Kagome heading towards him. Not recognizing her in the getup she wore, or with her hair hidden, he stayed quiet and stuck to staring wondrously at the Rikkaidai Regular he had never seen before.

"What, don't recognize me?" Kagome smiled, lifting her eyes to his, she watched his widen and he stumbled backwards in shock. "now that I have your attention."

"Tezuka-Chan, what can we do for you?" Shuusuke asked politely; quick to notice the glare that formed in her eyes after he spoke her name, "Ah...gomen, Kagome-Chan."

"Your team is missing two players, I sincerely hope that you won't have to forfeit do to carelessness. That wouldn't make my brother very happy, and it wouldn't make me happy either."

Shuusuke smiled, "don't worry, they'll be here."

Horio yelled out cockily, "even if Momo-Senpai and Kaidou-Senpai don't make it, Seigaku is still plenty strong enough to defeat Rikkaidai!"

Kagome smiled, "is that so?" She laughed, Akaya and Marui came up beside her as she spoke, "you barely stand a chance with a full lineup; if you try to compete against us with half your team being M.I.A, then you may as well not show up. All badmouthing aside...good luck...and hopefully your teammates make it in time."

Kagome walked off after Sanada with Marui next to her, but looking back, she noticed Akaya was still lingering behind and was locked in a staring contest with Shuusuke.

Sanada turned back, "Kirihara-San!"

Akaya turned and ran quickly over to the rest of Rikkaidai's team. Making their way to the court where they would be competing against Seigaku, the settled down and went to warming up with simple stretches and short drills. Kagome couldn't keep her eyes off of the front entrance to the tennis competitions registration tent though. 'Please let them make it in time...'

Sanada watched his Regulars practice, keeping an eye on the worried Kagome, mostly because he didn't want her getting distracted from their goal. He was confident though, she would do well.

A rally between Niou and Kagome took her mind off the other teams' problem for a few minutes when she heard Akaya sigh.

"Five more minutes..." Marui commented from next to Akaya who leaned in to peer at the watch Marui had pulled from his bag.

"Oh!" Kagome smiled, "look!" She laughed and pointed as both the bandana toting Viper and spiky haired Monkey ran up to the team with their Burning friend following them. "Good..."

Sanada silently sat down on a bench and closed his eyes as Kagome excitedly returned to her practice match with Niou. 'Good indeed, let's see this game through...Seiichi is sure that you will help us to victory...now prove it.'
