Raphael looked over his shoulder at his weakening brother groaning with ever bump as Raph drove through the streets and back alleyways to try and get to the lair as fast as the Battle Shell could take them. Turning down a narrow street, closing in on the lair's street entrance five Foot Ninja leaped from a fire escape from above landing in front of the Battle Shell. Stomping on the breaks, the large vehicle screeched to a stop before of one of the Foot, his mask half torn from his bloodied face.

"Get. Out." The Ninja seethed, pointing up towards Raphael. Glaring out into the lightening sky of morning, Raphael recognized the familiar face and smiled. Putting the Battle Shell roughly in park, Raph kicked opened the driver side door getting down and slamming the door behind him. Mikey started to get out on the passenger side being stopped by Donnie calling his attention in the back of the cab.

"We don't have time for this, we need to get back to the lair!" Donnie yelled towards his exiting brother's, applying more pressure to Leonardo's bleeding wound. "If we don't get back soon he may bleed out..." Donnie said, looking up at Willow who knelt down next to his brother in law and husband. Willow glared out towards the Foot Ninja in their path, looking behind her at her best friend slumped over in her seat buckle.

"You and I have unfinished business." Raphael said pointing the tip of his sai towards the former catering boy slash Foot Ninja as he walked around to the front of the Battle Shell.

"You think you and your little freak family can just get up and leave after killing her?" Jason spat, straightening his shoulders as Raphael chuckled a little, looking at the four Foot behind him. They were all tired and weak, this wasn't going to take long at all.

"I think we did." Raph said with a smirk as Jason growled, going after the larger turtle with two Kama blades. Raph leaped back, elbowing a Foot that came at him from behind and slashed his sais forward towards Jason.

Michelangelo quickly went to his brother's side, spinning his nunchaku as they came in contact with two Foot Ninja, knocking one to the ground and making the other stumble. Righting himself he went after the brother in orange again with his katana blade. Stopping it with the metal of his nunchaku Mikey pushed to Foot back, kicking him in the stomach as his body slammed hard against the brick wall of the alleyway.

"We'll be able to rebuild her empire." Jason said as Raphael and Michelangelo both started towards the smaller catering boy, dwarfing him where he stood. He started backing away as both turtle brother's twisted their weapons in their grasps. "There are hundreds of Foot in this city just waiting to carry out her revenge on you freaks. We'll always be waiting and we'll always-" Raphael punched him hard in the face, knocking Jason's head back as he slumped and fell unconsciously to the wet cement behind him.

"If I have to hear one more idiotic thing today, I'm gonna lose it." Raphael sighed, turning towards his brother as Mikey smiled, patting his brother on the shoulder.

"And it's only five AM." Mikey smiled as Raphael turned to him with a glare.

"Get back in the car numb nuts."

"They're almost here." April said, looking from the screen where Donnie's locator was blinking, up to the large brick doorway. "We should prepare if someone got injured." She muttered to herself, getting from the computer chair she'd been sitting in for hours and hurrying herself around Donatello's lap.

Cleaning off the large metal table in the center of the room and wiping it down with some sanitizer wipes she opened up Donnie's medical kit and placed it in arms reach of the table. Splinter helped her by putting folded clean sheets and towels on the computer desk.

"Let's hope nothing happened." Splinter said as April nodded.

Riley paced back and forth in front of the large brick doors of the lair, waiting for everyone to hurry themselves up and come so she could see that they were all safe. April had said any minuet now they'd be walking through that door and that seemed like hours ago now. She'd worried herself sick, falling in and out of sleep as she thought of Michelangelo getting hurt, or worse. A shiver crawled it's way up her spine at her last thought. She never did actually think she'd be in this situation with him, at all. Sure, she knew what he did and he told her a couple weeks ago but, this was different. It was happening, to him and her. She couldn't even remember the time when she was so against this relationship. Telling Willow she deserved better, better than one of these brother's. It was so far behind her, thoughts of it being right or wrong, wondering if she should or shouldn't. All of that seemed lifetimes ago as she paced, worried about a turtle she was now in love with.

Finally, the doors opened in an explosion of sound as Raphael and Donatello carried Leonardo in their arms down the large cement stairs. Willow holding her hand against the piece of her wedding dress against the wound on Leonardo's side now saturated in blood. Felicia hung almost lifelessly in Michelangelo's arms as he and Casey walked behind the group. Riley tired to get a good look at Michelangelo in passing to see is any of the blood that seemed to be everywhere on everyone else was his. Everyone was absolutely covered in crimson as the scent of copper filled the lair.

"Oh my God." Riley said, putting her hands to her mouth and looking over towards the rooms as Betty hurried down to follow after Donnie. "W-willow, y-your dress..." Riley stammered as she caught up with the group, walking next to her best friend.

"It's not important." Willow said in a sigh, using her wrist to move her already matted down bloody bangs from her face. "Can you take Felicia?" She asked as Mikey still held her, wanting to hurry into the room to help his brother.

"Y-yeah of course." Riley said, looking over at Mikey. He smiled meekly at her for a moment, walking with Felicia over to the couch. "Your OK?" She asked softly as he nodded, looking back into the lab as he placed Felicia gently down on the cushions. "I love you." She said, grabbing his hand before he walked away. He smiled, more real this time and brought her hand up to his lips giving it a soft kiss.

"You have no idea babe." He sighed as he went towards the liar.

"Fee?" Riley asked softly, kneeling next to the couch and wiping some hair out of her face. She gasped, noticing the large gash on her pale cheek. "Oh my God..." She sighed, as Felicia groaned her eyes fluttering open. Riley tried to blink back the tears already forming in her eyes as Felicia looked up at her.

"W-where..."

"The lair. Stay awake for me, OK?" Riley asked in a sniff, trying with everything in her not to cry. "Betty!" She called out as Betty, looked from the doorway of the lab to the couch where her two friends were. Running over and kneeling beside Riley fighting tears of her own Riley took a deep breath. "We're going to need something to clean her face. Can you keep talking to her, make sure she doesn't fall asleep again. I want to know if she has a concussion."

"What if she does?" Betty asked, tilting Felicia's limp head towards her and wincing as she noticed the gash.

"Then we take her to the hospital." Riley shrugged, going over to the lab. The commotion was intense but, she needed supplies of her own if she was to help her friend. "D-Donnie?" She said softly at first but then louder as he and Michelangelo both turned towards the girl in the doorway. "I need to clean Felicia's face do you have any-"

"Medical kit is in the bathroom, down the hall to the left." Donnie said, looking back towards his brother. Riley nodded, going back to her friend.

Carrying Leonardo's body into the lab Donatello going first, holding tightly to Leonardo's shoulders and Raphael following holding onto Leo's legs. Donnie looked around the lap as April hurried to put some towels she had already prepared upon their arrival on the table as a pillow.

"How'd you guess?" He asked dryly to April as she snapped on a pair of white gloves with a shrug. April looked over at Willow, frozen in the lab's doorway.

Her face was covered in matted blood from trying to push her bangs from her eyes with her bloodied hands. Her once beautiful white dress was saturated in red, seeping down from the beautiful beaded bodice to her full skirt. Her eyes were intently focused on Leonardo's body, being laid down on the long metal table. Everything was muffled, all she could do was stare as Leonardo winced and groaned in pain. Feeling a hand on her shoulder she jumped looking over at April's kind eyes.

"Sweetheart, you have to get changed." April said softly as Willow shook her head.

"Not til I know he's OK." She said, breaking out of her hazy state and walking into the lab grabbing onto Leonardo's hand. His eyes met hers and she gave him a meek smile as warm tears made a path through her blood stained cheek.

Donnie sighed as he slowly pulled back the wedding dress material that was fused to Leonardo's side with dried blood, watching as more blood bubbled out from the large gash. Grabbing a pair of goggles from behind him on his computer desk he put them over his head and turning on a light that made it easier to see.

"We may need to cauterize the wound..." Donnie said focused on his work, shaking his head as he grabbed a pair of medical tweezers to try and open the wound to see if there was any further damage. Leonardo gritted his teeth on the table, turning his head away from his brother. His body twitched and moved away from Donnie as he tried to work. Shaking his head, Donnie looked up at Willow. "You need to hold him still." He said as Raphael came over, moving Willow out of the way and putting a large hand on Leonardo's plastron and another on his chest plate. Michelangelo moved over next going towards Leonardo's legs, holding his ankles. Willow shifted over to Leonardo's head, putting her hands at his temples and rubbing her thumbs slowly back and forth.

"You'll be OK." She said softly as Leonardo looked up at her through his mask. She smiled down at him but turned away quickly as he winced in pain, turning away himself as he cried out. "Squeeze my hand." She said as he forced a smirked through the pain, shaking his head.

"I'll break it." He grunted, snapping his head towards his brother as Donnie poured a antiseptic into the wound. Arching from the table in pain Raphael pushed him back down to keep him steady. Leonardo reached up grabbing tightly onto Willow's extended hand. She winced from the pressure but, held strong until he let go.

"Deep breaths." Willow said softly as Leonardo tried to breath through the pain.

"It's almost over Bro." Raph said as Donnie winced up at the second oldest.

"April, grab the skin glue from the bathroom. I can't stitch through his shell here, it's too thick. I should be able to close the wound after the cauterization takes effect. Go quickly." Donnie said as April nodded.

Splinter walked up beside Willow putting his paws on the side of Leonardo's face. Willow moved over, still holding tight to her husband's hand as Splinter took her place, running the pad of his paw slowly over Leonardo's forehead and cheeks and removing his mask. He handed it over to Willow and she took it, clenching the ratty fabric in her fist. She couldn't help but feel more tears well in his eyes at Splinter's actions towards his loved son.

"He'll pass out from the pain." Splinter said softly as Leonardo grimaced, looking up at his father then over at Willow as Donatello took a torch from his work desk and sparked it putting the flame over the edge of a smooth metal rod he kept in his medical case.

"I love you." Willow said softly, rubbing her thumb back and forth over Leonardo's hand as his eyes met hers.

"I love you." He managed out in between heavy breaths before his eyes slammed shut and he gritted his teeth to the pain making the worse noise Willow had ever heard in her life as Donnie pressed the searing hot metal over Leonardo's wound. She looked away, her eyes clenched as more tears streamed down her face.

Raphael and Michelangelo stepped back, looking at one another with a deep breath then back at their brother in purple.

"That should stop the bleeding." Donnie said with a heavy sigh, moving his goggles from his face and grimacing as he looked down at his brother's blackened shell.

"He'll need his rest now." Splinter said, looking towards Raphael and Michelangelo as they both nodded. Mikey patted Leo on the knee, looking up at Willow who still held tight to his hand.

"He is going to wake up right?" Willow sniffed as Donnie looked over at her with a small smile.

"Of course he will Willow. It's Leo." Donnie shrugged.

After listening to the horrific sounds coming from the lab Riley couldn't take it anymore. She needed to move away and focus on her friend. She wanted to worry about Leonardo's state but, wanted to worry about her friend more. That was her concern, Donnie could handle Leo... She hoped.

Riley grabbed a flash light from one of the drawers in the kitchen and opened Felicia's fluttering eyes. Watching as her pupils dilated she sighed, thankful that her friend wouldn't pass out on her and slip into a comma. Nodding to Betty, they both took an arm and helped Felicia too her feet. A little unsteady at first, but she was able to walk on her own, giving Betty and Riley most of her weight. Walking to the bathroom, they sat her on the toilet and Riley was able to get to work cleaning Felicia's face.

"I'm so sorry Felicia..." April heard Riley say as she rounded the corner to the bathroom where Felicia sat with Betty and Riley kneeling down in front of her. Riley with a cotton swab on Felicia's cheek and Betty holding the bottle and ointments that Riley rubbed as gently as she could over the wound. Felicia hissed at the sting on her cheek, twitching away from her long time friend.

"Did you find any skin glue in there?" April asked, picking up the medicine kit from the floor and rummaging through it.

"Yeah, it's right here." Betty said handing April the tube. "Is Leo OK?"

"He will be." April sighed, looking quickly at Felicia's gash. "Take a long hot shower after this Fee, it'll calm your body after what you've been through." Felicia sighed, looking up at April nodding her head. "You need something for your head too, I'll grab some aspirin."

"I already have her a thousand milligrams of Ibuprofen that I had on me." Riley said without looking up from her job on Felicia's face.

"Oh, good..." April said, confused and relieved that Riley was taking such good care of Felicia.

"She goes into momma bear mode when one of us gets hurt." Felicia said, looking at April from the corner of her eye, not being able to move her head. She hissed as Riley rubbed some more ointment over her large gash. It looks a lot better now that it was cleaned of dry blood and the swelling had gone down some.

"How's Donnie doing?" Betty asked, looking up at April from her spot still on the floor holding the medical kit.

"He's focused, and probably wondering where I am with this. Let me get back." April sighed. "I'll come check on you again in a few." Riley nodded along with Felicia and Betty as April rushed out the door back down to the lab.

"You should take a shower though. Do you need help?" Riley asked as Felicia started to get to her feet.

"Maybe just with the dress?" She grimaced as Riley nodded.

"I'll do it." Felicia heard from the doorway, turning her head to Raphael standing there, arms crossed over his chest. Riley nodded, looking towards Felicia for conformation if this was OK. She smirked a little with a nod as Riley let go of her shaky friend's hands and helped Betty to her feet.

"We'll be just outside if you need us." Riley said, glaring at Raphael before she and Betty turned the corner.

"You don't have to-" Felicia started, turning towards her ex. If he still was even that? He was talking to her again, so that was a start.

"I want to." Raph said, walking towards her and then past her slowly as he turned on the shower head, putting his hand underneath the spray as the water turned hot. "Turn." He commanded of her and she did so, moving her matted hair off of her neck as he pulled down the zipper to her maid of honor dress.

"Ya know, when I first got this dress, this was the last way I ever imaged you getting me out of it." She said with a smirk, trying to lighten the serious mood. She looked up into the mirror at him behind her but, he didn't smile from her bad joke. He said nothing as he looked down a her body as the dress fell to the floor. His calloused, familiar hands glide down her shoulders and back, tracing the outlines of her bruises left there by Karai's boot.

"She deserved to die." Raphael said almost to himself as Felicia once again tried to meet his eyes in the old mirror. Finally, looking up from his examination on her body their eyes met. He said nothing else as he continued to strip her of her clothing.

Unhooking her strapless bra he put it on the floor with her dress, kneeling down behind her and slowly sliding off her panties. He was so soft and cautious with her, as if she was made of glass about to shatter if he made the wrong move. Turning back around towards him he looked at nothing but her face, bringing his hand up to her cheek and running the pad of his thumb along the outside of the wound.

"This shouldn't of happened to you." He sighed as she shrugged.

"It couldn't of been helped."

"Yes it could have." He said shaking his head. "I could have listened to you."

"Do not blame yourself for this Raphael. It was going to happen either way. Someone was going to get captured." She said firmly through chattering teeth as she stood in front of him naked. Her body was over tired and in shock as the cool air from the bathroom made her whole body tremble, the warmth from the shower billowing out feet away.

Opening the curtain to the shower he held his hand out for her as she took it, stepping into the spray of the warm water. She gasped as the it hit her frigid body, slowly thawing out her skin. He stepped in behind her, taking the shower head from its place on the wall and letting the hot water cascade over her. He started with her shoulders, back, then moving his hand around to her front. Closing her eyes and humming to herself she ran her fingers through her snarled hair, finding bobby pins left over from the wedding and pulling them out one by one as they fell to the shower floor.

"You took somethin' for the pain? You're gonna need it." He said putting the shower head back on it's hook and reaching over to some soap lathering it in his hands. Running his hands over her shoulders and down her back where strips of sweat and grim were left from her dress and exposed skin.

"Y-yeah, Riley gave me something." She said, looking at him from over her shoulder. His face was straight and serious, focused on what he was doing. It almost felt awkward, naked in front of him when he was like this. It wasn't sexual at all but, her body was singing with each touch he pressed gently to her skin.

"Good." He said, reaching in front of her for the shower head and taking it once again from it's place on the tiled wall. He let the warm water wash away the soap, moving the shower head back and forth across her shoulder blades, then the center of her back and then her lower back. She took a deep breath in smelling the sweet, clean scent of soap as it traveled down her backside, between her thighs and calves to the drain. It was calming, smoothing, and made her feel beautiful even if he didn't mean it to be, it was incredibly sensual.

She hated that her body was acting this way towards him. He was being so cautious and she was acting like a teenage fangirl about to tackle him. She smirked a little at the image in her head, letting out a little snort as she felt the water leave her body. She turned her head meeting his confused gaze as she shook her head, facing forward once more.

"It's nothing." She said softly as he eyed her for a moment, putting the water back on her body.

"Turn around." He said as she did, looking him in the eyes. He leaned forward, pressing his body to hers as he hooked the shower head back in it's place. "Willow left shampoo and other girl crap here, I'll go grab it." He said, exiting the shower and putting a towel down on the floor.

Felicia sighed, putting her head back towards the spray and letting her hair get wet. Raphael came back, putting the two bottles on the edge of the tub. He said nothing as he looked at her body again, almost examining every inch of her.

"She deserved to die." He said again with a long sigh as Felicia looked over at him.

"Who?" She asked as Raphael was knocked out of his gaze on her beaten body.

"Karai." He said gruffly as Felicia furrowed her brow.

"She's dead?"

"Yes."

"Did you..."

"Yes."

"Oh..." She said softly at his tone. He clearly wasn't ready to talk about it yet, or she supposed anything. "I can handle the rest." She shrugged as he shook his head.

"I'm stayin' until you get out." He said as she nodded her head. "You're too weak, you'll body will realize it as soon as you leave this shower."

"I feel fine." She shrugged, grabbing some shampoo and putting a large glob in her palm. Raphael laughed bitterly at her response, leaning against the wall next to the shower and crossing his arms over his chest.

"You don't even realize it yet." He sighed as she looked at him like he was crazy. Her body hurt sure, but she wasn't any weaker than normal. The bottle of shampoo did feel a little heavier than usual but, that was it. Her knees might be a little shaky too, but that could be from Raphael's constant gaze on her naked body. "Do your ribs hurt?" He asked, leaning away from the wall and putting his hand underneath her breast. She looked down at his large palm around her body, then up at him as he furrowed his brow pressing his fingers lightly into her flesh. "Doesn't feel broke..." He said almost to himself. "Lift your arms up." He commanded again as she arched a brow and did so. She hissed in pain, trying as hard as she could to lift her hands above her head. "See." He said looking up at her as she sighed and put her hands back down, feeling heavier than when she picked them up.

"You should be taking care of Leo, you don't need to watch me like I'm an-"

"I told ya, I want to." He said, leaning back in his spot on the wall next to the shower.

"Why?" She asked, shaking her head as she rinsed out the shampoo from her hair. "After what I did, and the list, why would-"

"I'm not talkin' 'bout that right now." He said gruffly as she looked at him, his gaze completely avoiding hers as he looked down at the floor.

"I want to."

"Ya need to do this and get out of the shower and get to bed." He said with a shrug as she glared at him.

"I'm not a child."

"Then listen to me. I've been through this a time or too Felicia, your body is weak, your mind is weak you need to sleep." He sighed, shaking his head. "Finish up." He nodded, looking back at the floor as she sighed, shaking her head and turning towards the spray of the shower.

Michelangelo held onto Leonardo's shoulders as Donatello held his legs, carrying their eldest brother up the cement stairs to his old bedroom. Willow followed closely behind, holding on the IV bag that Donnie hooked up to Leonardo's arm from all the blood he had lost.

"You sure this is the right amount Don?" Willow asked, looking at the bag April must have swiped for him from one of Casey's many hospital visits.

"For the ninth time Willow, yes." Donnie grunted as he and Michelangelo walked up the steps as slowly as they could, trying not to jostle Leonardo's body.

"OK." She sighed, going ahead of them as they went for Leonardo's room. She opened the door, feeling tears sting her eyes from the memories that rushed to her from the scent of it. Sandalwood and incense hitting her as she looked around his familiar room. She went over to the bed, turning down the sheets as Michelangelo and Donatello set their brother into his bed. Fixing his pillows, Willow pulled up a chair right next to him and sat. Donnie eyed her for a moment as he hooked up the IV bag.

"You should go shower." He said as she looked up at him.

"I want to stay until he wakes up." She said, not looking up from her finger tips playing along the curve of muscles on Leonardo's forearm.

"If he wakes up and sees you a mess like that he's going to be pissed." Donnie shrugged as Willow sighed, looking up at her nerdy brother.

"Then I guess he'll have to be pissed." She shrugged as Michelangelo sighed, looking at Donnie who shook his head and exited the room.

"Will..." Mikey said softly, sitting on the edge of Leo's bed and putting a hand on hers. "Leo wants you to take care of yourself too. You took care of him, he needs his rest and you need to get out of the dress." He said as she looked up at him her eyes glistening with fresh tears.

"I don't want to leave him." She sniffed as Mikey smiled softly.

"He'll be here when you're done..."

"He's right my child." Splinter said from the doorway as Mikey and Willow looked up at him. "I will sit with Leonardo while you take care of yourself my daughter. Go, please." He said, walking over to Willow as Mikey nodded, getting up and holding out his hand for her to take it.

Willow looked back towards Leonardo, his soft quiet face relaxed in a deep sleep. Smiling to the pure handsomeness of it she leaned forward, kissing his cheek then his forehead softly.

"I will be right back." She whispered softly, getting from her chair and helping Splinter in her seat. "Have one of them get me if anything happens." She said looking at Splinter as he nodded.

"Go." Mikey said, pushing her out of Leonardo's room.

Riley sat on the edge of the couch, watching Donnie leave Leonardo's room. He walked straight to his lab, not looking at her or anyone as he softly shut the door behind him. Betty sat quietly on the couch next to Riley, looking over at her distraught boyfriend.

"You should go talk with him." Riley said as Betty nodded her head.

"Only if you talk with him." She said, nodding her head up towards Mikey now leaving Leonardo's room with Willow making her way down the hall with an armful of clothing. Betty nudged Riley's arm with her own as she got up from the couch and made her way over to the lab.

Michelangelo leaned heavily on the metal banister, over looking the living room. His head was bowed down between his shoulders as his large hands grasped tightly to the metal. Moving his head from side to side he took a deep breath, lifting his body back up and noticing Riley below watching his every move.

"Hi." She said softly as he smirked.

"Come with me." He said, nodding his head towards his room as he started to walk towards it. She got from the couch, walking up the stairs and headed to his room where he left the door open for her. "You OK?" He asked, shutting his door as she looked around his familiar room with a small smile.

"I'm doing alright." She shrugged. "I hope Felicia's face heals alright." She sighed, looking over at him as he sat on the edge of his bed. "Are you?"

"She's dead." He sighed, looking down at his hands in his lap as Riley sat beside him.

"Who is?" She asked as he looked over at her.

"Karai."

"That's good... No?" She asked confused as Mikey shook his head.

"Death is never good Riley." He sighed, getting from the bed and picking up a small rubber ball that was on the floor.

"No, you're right. It's not. But, don't you think that hers may have been? I mean, she kidnapped Felicia and she's done worse things than that and that is pretty bad... Did, you kill..."

"No, Raph." He said, spinning the ball against his palm. "She used to be different... She was a normal girl at one point and then the Shredder just ruined her. He ruined a persons life just because he could." Mikey sighed, shaking his head. "It's wrong."

"It is wrong... She may not, at one point deserved to die but, with everything that she's done and how she was thinking, don't you think that maybe a little she did deserve it...? Maybe not deserve it, no one deserves that but, it was for the better. It was rectifiable Mikey. Her death brought better things. It's never good, you're absolutely right but, she was evil."

"She turned evil." He corrected as Riley nodded.

"OK, turned evil." She said, watching as he started to pace the length of his room. "Mikey, sit please." She sighed, reaching out and grabbing his arm stopping and turned to her.

"I'm too... Wound up." He sighed, tossing the ball in the air and catching it. "I've never... I mean, with Amber it was different." He shrugged as Riley felt a twinge of jealous and hurt stab in her stomach. "She was never here after a fight... She was always home and I'd go visit her but then Leo would be up our asses about getting home on time so I'd leave then come back here and just... Pace. I guess? I've never had an audience." He chuckled nervously as Riley smiled a little.

"Do you want me to..."

"No! God no, that's not what I meant." He sighed, sitting down heavily beside her and laying back on his shell. "Are you sure your OK?" He asked, sitting back up quickly as she smiled and nodded. "Do you need anything?"

"I need you to be OK." She said, grabbing his hand that wasn't holding the rubber ball and bringing it to her lips. She stopped when she noticed he still had some blood on them. "You need to shower."

"Willow just went in there to take one and she needs it more than me." He sighed, taking his hand back and leaned in to give Riley a kiss on the mouth.

"Well, you're next." She smiled kissing him back.

"You're not... Freaked out by this?" He asked, looking down at his blood stained hands as Riley shrugged.

"A little at first, when you guys came in but I know it's Leo's and Leo is resting and hopefully will be fine when he wakes." She said, tossing the ball in the air herself. Mikey caught it in mid air, kissing Riley on the cheek. She smiled, turning towards him. "Are you freaked out that I'm not freaked out?" She asked, almost confusing herself as he chuckled.

"No. I mean, I shouldn't have suspected anything different with you." He sighed happily. "You don't know how relived I was to hear you say you loved me earlier..." He said, looking at her as she smiled.

"I do." She said, leaning in to him as he nodded his head, pressing his mouth to hers.

"I love you too." He said as she leaned back and got from the bed.

"I'm not kissing you again until your blood free, march mister!" She said pointing towards his door as he sighed, getting from his bed.

Betty knocked softly on Donnie's laboratory door frame watching as Donnie leaned heavily against the metal table his brother was once on. He picked his head up, trying to force a smile at her. She tried to give a meek one back, walking into the room and looking around.

"This is really amazing." She said softly as he watched her carefully move around his lab. Someplace she had never seen or been in before. His senses were on high alter already from the evenings events and this was just heightening everything. "Where'd you learn to take care of Leo's wound? Internet?" She asked, looking at all the large computer screens scattered along a wall.

"And books." He said softly. She turned towards his voice, almost desperate and needy. She knew something was bothering him, aside from everything that had happened today. It was something else.

"What?" She asked against as he looked over at her. Her innocent, beautiful face completely unaware of all the pain she could have endured, the pain that Felicia did because April was able to get her and Riley out in time. They were so lucky.

"You don't even realize what almost happened to you." He said, shaking his head pushing away from the large table and walking out of the room. Betty furrowed her brow, stuck for a moment as she watched him walk away. Quickly following after him and out of the lab she noticed he went over to the old coffee pot in the little kitchen they had and started making some.

"Donnie." She said, walking up behind him as she leaned against their little wooden table. "I am well aware of what could have happened to me tonight. But, it didn't and thankfully you were able to save those that something did happen to. I am assuming that wasn't your first time either." She shrugged as Donnie laughed bitterly, scooping some coffee grounds into a filter.

"Izzy was right..." He sighed not bothering to turn to her. "I should have never gotten involved with you." He said softly as Betty titled her head, pushing herself away from the table and stood next to him beside the counter.

"What?" She asked as he shrugged, putting the glass pot back and pressing the button to start.

"Maybe we shouldn't..."

"Shouldn't what? Say idiotic things? I completely agree." She argued, crossing her arms over her chest as Donnie sighed.

"You shouldn't be the one getting upset." He said, walking past her and back towards the lab. She watched him walk ahead for a moment before pushing herself away from the counter. Standing in the doorway, she watched as he sat back in one of his old computer chairs and put his hands over his tired face.

"I shouldn't be upset that my boyfriend is trying to break up with me? Horribly I might add, after the horrific day we both had?" She asked, as he took his hands away from his face and looked over at her.

"I didn't exactly say I wanted to break up." He shrugged. "It's just...You're bound to get hurt, Betty. This is my life, this is what happens. People in my life are forever getting captured and hurt and..."

"How am I going to get hurt when the person doing the hurting is dead?" She asked as Donnie looked up at her. "Felicia told me." She shrugged. "So, how am I going to get hurt or captured when there is no one to capture me."

"The Foot are still out there. They still have a allegiance to the Saki name." He said shaking his head as Betty rolled her eyes, pushing herself away from the doorway and walking over to him putting her hands on the arms of his computer chair and leaning towards his face.

"I am right here Donnie. Tell me you want me to leave, and I'll leave." She said, looking directly into his eyes as he sighed and looked down. She shook her head, picking his head back up to look at her. "No, you need to tell me by looking at me. Be a man and do it if you want to." She said with a slight glare as he took a deep breath.

"I don't want to do this Betty. But, if it keeps you safe..."

"I am safe, I'm protected by a Ninja." She said as he smirked and shook his head.

"So wasn't Leo." He sighed as Betty did as well, sitting on his lap.

"Leo is going to be fine. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've all been through this song and dance. He's resting peacefully in his room, Splinter lit all those healing candles and sage and whatnot. Put those tea leaves on the wound, because that wasn't weird..." She said arching a brow as Donnie smiled. "You know all this so, why is this time so different just because I'm here?" She asked tilting her head, putting her arm around his shoulders as her fingers played with the strands of his ratted purple bandana.

"Because you're here, that's all the difference." He sighed looking up at her. "You're handling this a lot better than I expected."

"Well, I was warned ahead of time for starters. I knew the Foot were around at the wedding, secondly and I knew you would take care of everything, and you did." She smiled as he sighed rolling his eyes.

"It's what I do."

"Exactly. Leonardo is the leader in this group but, you're the healer. You make everything better, smooth things over." She said moving her hands in front of him in a line.

"How so? I was barely able to save my brother's life." He said, shaking his head.

"But, you did."

"For now... He still needs to wake up."

"He will. And third..." She said as he met her eyes. "I see everything in you Donnie. I see compassion, honesty, trust...Love." She said softly, looking down at her hands in her lap, then back up to his widening eyes. She chuckled a little rolling her eyes as she leaned up and kissed him hard on the mouth. "You're an idiot."

Felicia woke slowly getting a feel for her broken and bruised body. She sat up in Raphael's bed looking over at the exhausted, snoring turtle. The lair was quiet and she knew everyone were in their own rooms fast asleep from the happenings of the day. She wanted to get up and check on Willow and Leo but, her body was too comfortable in his bed next to him. She could feel safe again, something finally after the days of just nothingness. She hated that empty feeling. Waking up to an empty bed instead of his large frame taking up most of it.

They didn't talk at all after her shower. Not that they had much of a choice. Once she shut off the warm water her body felt like it was made of ice and she froze where she stood. Raphael had to take a large towel and put it around her body, carrying her out of the shower and to his room like an infant. For all she knew anyways, she fell asleep in his arms on the way out of the bathroom and never had a chance to ask again about what this all meant. He never said when they would finish the conversation they or she had started in the shower. The shower that made her want him more than she's ever wanted him. He was so gentle and concerning, moving so meticulously against her body so it wouldn't cause her any pain. It made goosebumps crawl over her skin just thinking about it again.

Turning on her side towards his sleeping face she smiled to herself leaning down towards his large shoulder just peeking out from beneath the comforter. She was hesitant at first, not sure if she even should but, the feeling over took her and she leaned down, kissing his taunt skin. She felt him stir next to her, his ninja senses lessened by the need for sleep. Reaching down at the oversized shirt he had given her to wear she slowly lifted it up and over her head, grimacing at the stretch of her ribs. Tossing the large garment to the floor she tried to push away the pain knowing that she was close to feeling something better, something she was missing. Feeling a shiver crawl up her spine to the cool air from his room touching her naked skin she pulled back the bedding and moved herself as slowly and carefully as she could until she was straddling his waist. He was now fully awake, putting his hands on her naked thighs and opening one eye to look up at her.

"What are ya doin'?" He asked letting his eyes wander down her exposed chest. Taking his hand from her thigh she placed his open palm over the top of her breast. "Felicia, I'm not..."

"I need you. Please." she begged, moving his other hand from her leg and kissing his palm.

"You're hurt." He sighed, looking away from her beautiful form above him from the glow of the TV behind her.

"Not anymore than I have been the last couple days without you." She shrugged as he looked back up at her. "I want you to make me feel good Raph. I need it. Please." She begged, leaning down to him and kissing his mouth. She hated that she had to beg, but she needed it. She needed to feel something after everything that just happened. Almost losing him. Almost losing herself. She could have died, been tormented, watched him die in front of her. A whole slue of things could have happened to both of them and they didn't and now she needed to recognition that he was OK and she was OK. She needed him.

He tried to fight it but her persistence was winning his body over faster than his mind. He knew she was still sore, she had to be. He still was after everything that happened. Having sex with her would be the last thing her body needed. Clenching his eyes shut as her lips dragged slowly from his mouth to his neck and her hands searched his lower plastic he found a moment of clarity.

"Your body is still healin' it needs..."

"I don't care what it needs." She said, moving against his body slowly. He could feel her naked lower half against his thighs as she moved down, kissing along his bicep and forearm.

"Felicia..." He said, his fists clenching beside him as she fought to keep from touching her.

"You don't want me anymore?" She asked, sitting up and looking at him as he sat up quickly too, cupping her soft face in his hands.

"You're in pain and-"

"I'm used to it." She shrugged, moving off of him slowly as he sighed and looked over at her. "I can go sleep on the couch if-"

"Shut up, you're sleepin' where you are." He sighed, rubbing his face hard in his hands. "Listen to me." He said, turning in bed and looking at her as she looked up at him from laying back down against the mattress. "I'm an idiot." He sighed as she arched a brow and slowly got to her elbows. "I should have just listened to ya instead of tryin' to... Shut you out. I hated doin' that. I hated seein' you with that fuckin' punk. I hated every second of the past couple days more than I hated seein' Leo gettin' stabbed by that psychotic bitch. Seein' you, with that cut on ya face... She needed to die. I needed to..." He clenched his eyes shut and he felt the bed next to him shift as Felicia placed her hands on the side of his face. "I needed to kill her." He said as she nodded, feeling tears start to well in her eyes. "Did ya mean it?" He asked as she tilted her head in confusion. "What you said at the weddin' in the hallway..."

"You mean, that I love you?" She asked as he nodded. "Raphael, I have never meant anything more in my entire life." She said, looking him in the eyes as he took a deep breath.

"Then why... With that punk?" He asked confused as she shrugged, looking down between their bodies tangled in his sheets.

"I don't know. Because I'm an idiot?" She said with a bitter laugh. "I wanted to make you jealous. I wanted to, I don't know hurt you the way I hurt the night you just walked out." She said as he nodded, looking down at her.

"I will never walk out on you like that again." He said, putting his large hand on the side of her face, bringing it back up to look at him.

"You had every reason to. That stupid, fuckin' list." She growled, shaking her head. "Ugh, I should have never let Izzy help me with it. I should have never listened to her. I don't give a shit if you're a turtle. I don't even know if I want kids or marriage or any of that crap. I want you. That's it." She said, looking up at him as he leaned forward kissing her mouth softly.

"So, you really..." He said, hesitantly.

"Love you?" She asked in a chuckle as he nodded. "Yes. Do you plan on saying it ever?" She said as he smiled.

"I love you Felicia." He sighed slowly feeling like a huge weight completely left his shoulders. She smiled, leaning into his body and kissing his lips. She tired to open them against hers, sliding her tongue slowly along them as he chuckled and pulled back from her. "Nice try, but you're still hurt." He said as she glared at him.

"But, I'm naked." She said motioning towards her chest as he looked down at it, making her reach down for the comforter to cover herself under his gaze. He took it from her, looking back up at her face.

"I appreciate the effort." He shrugged, moving back to his side of the bed and laying back.

"So, you don't want me?" She pouted, laying on her side.

"Now ya really are an idiot." He chuckled as she did herself, kissing his arm before laying back herself. "Get some rest."

"I love you." She said softly, looking over at him as a smile went over his face, looking back towards her.

"I love ya too Fee." He said, kissing her lips softly.
