AN: HoneyBeeez and I Have been playing a 'game' for some time. I call it 'Reality or Fantasy'. We pick either a Reality or Fantasy situation and write a short one-shot about it. I decided to post some of the one-shots I did onto here. Enjoy and review if u guys want! ~
Kids were running around the room. Only a couple were in bed. Jack scanned overes the room taking notice of the kids. Rapunzel, Anna, & Elsa were painting. Hands & Flynn were fighting with plastic swords. Kristoff, fishlegs, and Merida were reading a story. And Astrid & Hiccup were taking their nap. Jack saw Hiccup tossing & turning, so he got up and walked over to the auburn haired boy. Little 'hiccup's' could be heard as he got closer. Jack sat knelt down next to the low bed and rubbed Hiccup's side gently. "Hiccup," He said gently,"what's wrong?"
Hiccup turned and opened his eyes. Tears swimming in the depths of emerald green. He stood up and hugged around Jack's neck. Jack held onto him as he stood up. "I-I don't w-want u t-to go!" Hiccup cried. "Shh," Jack said, beginning to sway back and forth,"It's ok. U'r ok. I'm here." Hiccup gripped onto Jack's shirt as he cried into the older boy's shoulder. "It's ok Hiccup," Jack said softly,"It's ok." "Jack?" "Yes?" "Can u sing that song?" "Which one?" "The one about a heart," Hiccup answered. Jack nodded.
"Every night, in my dreams, I see u, I feel u. That is how I know u, go on," Jack sang softly as he began rocking Hiccup back to sleep,"Far across the distance. & spaces between us. U have come to show u, go on. Near, far, where ever u are. I believe that, the heart does, go on. Once more, u opened the door. U are safe, in my heart though, my heart will, go on and on." Hiccup rested his head on Jack's chest. His small fingers clutching onto Jack's shirt. "Love can touch us one time," Jack sang,"& last for a life time. Then never let go till, we're gone. Love was when I loved u. One true time, I hold to. In my life we'll always, go on."
Jack kissed the top of Hiccup's head lightly as he continued in swaying back & forth. "Near, far, where ever u are. I believe, that, the heart does, go on," He sang,"Once more, u opened the door. U are safe in my heart though, my heart will go on and on~." Hiccup breathed softly as he rested against Jack's chest. Jack placed him back in hi bed and kissed his forehead. "Jack?" Hiccup said softly. "Yes Hiccup?" Jack said, stroking the three year old's auburn hair,"What is it?" "Don't leave..." Hiccup answered, drifting off to sleep. "I'm here Hiccup," Jack answered gently.
"I'll always be right, here."
