I finished this one early so i'm deciding to post it. I like this chapter alot. It's a turning point in the story. So I hope you like it. Thanks for sticking with me for this long :)

"It's gonna be ok" Jack whispered, rocking April in his arms. He'd only charged for a few hours after the girl drifted off. But when she started crying again and he had to help her. He knew he'd be running low the next day but April needed him. They lay against the wall, minutes turning into hours. It was silent except for a few tears.

"Jack" she whimpered. It was the first word she'd spoken since she'd woken up.

"Hmmm" he asked, giving her a comforting look. It surprised him when she scurried out of his arms, moving to sit next to him. He glanced at her but she'd looked away.

"Are you going to kill me" She asked, her voice deadly serious. Jack's mouth fell open. How was he supposed to respond to that? He would have laughed if it wasn't for her tense body and slumped shoulders,

"Of course not" he gasped reaching out to her. She flinched away at the last minute. He pulled his hand back sadly.

"You're here to stop us" she whispered. Jack's body stiffened. "I know" she said. "And Noah does too." Jack's brain went into overdrive. Were they going to tell Krane? But why hadn't they already done it? And if they were going to rat him out why had April come to him after her nightmare?

"I…" he started.

"Never mind" she said roughly, standing up. She pulled her arms to her chest and crossed the room.

"I don't want to hurt you" Jack said truthfully. April paused but didn't turn around.

"You said want" she stated. She was a smart kid.

"Yea I did" Jack deadpanned. The air all of a sudden felt too thick.

"I don't want to hurt you either" April said, staring at the wall. She refused to look back and sounded like she was talking to herself. "I don't want to hurt anyone. I just want to go home." With that she left, closing the door silently.

Jack stood and walked over to his charger. What just happened? Was this a trap? Was it a trap since the beginning? After everything was he just a pawn in that madman's game. No he wouldn't believe that. April was telling the truth. She had to be. But if she was his decision would just hurt more. He needed to act soon before he changes his mind. He needs to kill Krane and stop these Bionic teens.

Chase had fallen asleep angry. He was furious that they were no closer to finding either of them. For all he knew they could be dead. But somehow he had managed to force himself into a restless sleep.

Once again he was in complete darkness and just like that time a familiar voice seemed to come from everywhere around him.

"I had a nightmare." A small girl's voice squeaked.

"I didn't know you could dream" Chase heard Jack say, surprise in his tone. Of course they could dream. Just because they were in tubes didn't mean they slept differently. Well they did sleep odd comp…

"Can I stay here tonight?" the little girl asked again, pulling Chase from his thoughts. This felt different than last time. His mind was foggy and he couldn't concentrate. It felt like he didn't have any energy to move.

"I don't have a bed" Jack told the girl. Chase focused on the voices. He needed to remember this. He'd forgotten the last dream. He didn't think anything of it but he'd been wrong. This didn't feel like a dream.

"I just don't want to be alone" the small voice said, sadly. Chase imagined she was on the verge of tears. How he knew that, he had no idea.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Jack asked. His voice seamed to ring louder than the other, as if he was literally in the android's brain. Wait was that what was happening? Was he hearing what was going on with Jack?

"We were fighting" the voice said softly. "There was fighting everywhere. All I could hear was screams. They begged for us to stop but we didn't. I was watching myself kill one after another after another." Chase could almost feel the girl's fear. "I couldn't stop myself. I couldn't stop killing…. I liked it" she added in a whisper. "I've had dreams like this before but I never felt happy. I don't want to kill. I don't want to feel like that." Chase felt sadness engulf him. He didn't know who the girl was but he was all of a sudden desperate to comfort her.

"You don't have to kill" Jack whispered. "And I know you didn't like it. You wouldn't be here if you'd liked it."

"No" the little girl said, her voice hard and angry. "I have to kill or I'll die. He'll kill me. He'd kill us all."

Chase woke with a start, gasping for air. For a moment he was disoriented. He couldn't tell where he was.

"Chase" Bree called, frantically, going to his side. Chace felt Adam waking next to him.

"What happened?" He asked, jumping to his feet. Chase's heart rate slowly softened. The darkness took form. They were on blow up mattresses in a tent next to the car.

"I heard Jack" he said, a little louder than he planned. Both his dreams shot through his brain.

"Do you know where he is?" Bree gasped happily but Adam just frowned. He knew his brother and could tell something was wrong.

Chase nodded. "I know where he is…" he paused as if trying to find the right words. "He's with Krane." Both of chase's sibling gasped.

"We have to save him" Bree growled angrily. "We need to find that m…"

"He working with him, isn't he?" Adam asked. Chase's face paled. Bree glared at her older brother.

"Shut up!" She hissed. "Just because he was with Douglass, it doesn't mean he's evil." Both of them looked to Chase, who nodded solemnly.
