A/N: I am back after a long hiatus! And this time, we are going to continue the Gingaman saga of Anime Sentai. I hope I can get the creative juices flowing again and I hope to finish it. So, here we go… hopefully.

Plus, with Super Sentai turning 40, it kind of got me motivated.

Chapter 36: The Invincible Digidestined

"Ah," Rock yawned as he was on his laptop. He was working on a few things for financing the house. He stood up as he looked at Sakura, who was cutting vegetables in the kitchen. Turning around, she looked at Rock as he placed his hands on his head.

"You seem to be very upset about something," said Sakura.

"Well, I think we missed a payment…," said Rock, sighing.

"But, I thought we paid all of Haruhiko's stuff for the month!" said Sakura.

"So did I," said Rock, turning the laptop around. Immediately, Sakura was looking at the screen. She screamed when she saw not also the cost of the bill, but the bill they missed.

"How did we miss that?" asked Sakura.

"You're telling me," said Rock, as he went to get the checkbook out from the office. Standing up from the dining room table, he pushed the wooden chair under the table and went to walk away. As he continued to walk to the office, there were sounds of screaming and rumbling. As they heard a loud yell and a thump outside, immediately Sakura placed the knife down. She walked outside as she saw Tai, who was sitting next to a blonde haired teen with blue eyes. He had a black t-shirt and blue jeans with red and white shoes.

"Tai!" shouted Sakura, "What happened? Are you okay?"

Tai looked up as he saw what was going on, "I'm doing great. Never expected to fall of the roof."

Matt nodded, "Same. It's not every day we have to use adhesive glue on a roof."

As Matt went to get up, Tai's hand was pulled up with Matt's. Tai yelled as he was dragged with him. Sakura's face was priceless as Tai and Matt's hands were clenched together… Specifically, Tai's right hand was glued with Matt's left hand.

"This is too funny," she said.

"What's so funny?" asked Matt.

"You're glued to each other!" Sakura said, laughing hysterically.

Immediately, Tai and Matt's face went from being relieved to angry as they looked down at their hands. As the door opened, Rock walked out with the check. As he turned to his right, Rock's eyes popped out of his head as he saw that.

"So… when were you going to tell us?" asked Rock.

Tai looked at Rock as he went to release himself from Matt's grip. However, the glue was stuck to his hand, "It's not what you think!"

Suddenly, they heard the sounds of people walking. Turning around, Al and Miroku were walking with bags of groceries.

"We are back…," said Miroku. His face stared at Tai and Matt as Al stood with him. Al dropped the bags as he looked at them.

"Tai… you got some explaining to do!" said Al.

"Yeah, here's the story," said Tai.

Ten minutes ago…

Tai was standing on top of the ladder with the roof tiles in a bucket. Smiling, he was placing them on the wooden floor, "So, this is where we need to place the glue…"

"I got it!"

Tai turned around as he looked at Matt, "What?"

"I got the adhesive glue… courtesy of Moku's sap!" said Matt.

Tai looked down, "I specifically asked for the glue at the warehouse… Moku's sap would be great. But, who knows if it will degrade… its biodegradable."

Matt grinned as he took out a bowl with green fluid. He went to climb up on the ladder. As he took three or four steps up, the ladder began to tip. Tai and Matt yelled as they landed on the ground with the bowl of Moku's glue on their hands.

Back to the present…

"Ah," said Al, looking at them, "Well, Sakura…"

Sakura looked at Al, "Al, this is Moku's sap… it's not like adhesive where it can be easily fixed. This is stuck!"

Suddenly, they heard the door open as Bokku flew into the house, "Hello! So, what's going on?"

Tai and Matt looked at each other and then their hands stuck like glue.

"Ah," said Bokku, "I have the perfect idea!"

A few minutes later…

Al grabbed a bowl with water. In the bowl, there were green leaves that came from Moku himself. Immediately, Tai and Matt dipped their hands into the water. After a few minutes of soaking, the two of them tried to pull apart. Al sighed as he took out his Ginga Brace, "Uh, Moku, is this supposed to work?"

"Yes. It should take about one minute to… one week," said Moku, smiling.

"ONE WEEK?" yelled Tai and Matt.

Miroku sighed as he put his hands on the table, "Well, that helps. What if they attack?"

Tai sighed as he looked at Matt, "Guess, we'll figure it out."

Meanwhile…

Captain Zahab was looking at the island of Japan in his castle. He shook his head as Battobasu, Shelinda and Biznella were standing together. The Yattoto were with them as well. As he turned around, Captain Zahab began to yawn, raising his silver hook. He turned to Battobasu, as he and Biznella were coming up with something… huge.

"So," said Biznella, looking at Battobasu with his remote control device. He pressed a red button on the device as a white board magically appeared from the floor. There were designs of ore and metallic bombs all over the place.

"What?" asked Battobasu.

"I believe with the use of the ore… and maybe heat energy, we should be able to set off these bombs," said Biznella, showing the silver ore.

"What would be the purpose of setting off these bombs?" asked Battobasu, looking at Biznella, "Besides, destroying Earth and making it a stomping ground?"

"What if an earthquake revived Daitanix with the use of bombs?" asked Biznella.

Shelinda laughed as she looked at him. She walked down the stairs as her eyes darted at the two of them. Biznella and Battobasu looked at her as she rolled her eyes.

"Please," she said, looking at them, "We tried an earthquake before… we tried to blow up Rock from the inside out with the bomb. What makes you think your plan is… well, logical?"

"Because…," said Battobasu, looking at her, "I have the creature that will do the job. His name is Bombs."

The look on Shelinda's face showed that she was not impressed with not also the name of the creature, but Battobasu's new Field Commander. As the creature walked in, he was basically a human cannon. He had a big black cannon ball as the chest with cannon like arms and legs. He also had hands and feet. The cannon had golden chains and his face was black with a red visor.

"This is a really good idea!" shouted Bombs, smiling. He turned around, looking at the Yattoto. The Yattoto stood up and nodded in response.

"Yes. We will make sure that the Gingaman die… and we'll blow up the planet in the process," said Battobasu.

Later that day...

In an abandoned building, Battobasu grinned as he raised his binoculars. He grinned as he was looking at the Yattoto, dressed as electricians. As they hopped off the truck, they were getting silver canisters and placing them on the ground. The ore was placed in the center of the canister and it was sealed.

"Perfect," said Bombs. He then turned around. Some of the Yattoto had a massive pallet that had 30 special bombs. They were black canisters with red spheres on top. He then pointed to them, "Do not mess with those… they are specially made."

"Yes, sir!" said one of the grunts.

"Take the map…," said Bombs, giving the Yattoto the map, "It must be done in this order so I can set them off in this order!"

"Yes, sir!" he yelled, running away.

Bombs grinned as he looked at them walk away. As he looked at the building, he grinned. He knew all things were going according to plan. The Yattoto put the special bombs in totes and placed them in the back of trucks. As they hopped in, the trucks drove toward the city, where things were going to happen. They were placing bombs all over the city. As they got to the last bomb, the Yattoto put the bomb on the ground. Twisting the bolt into the bottom of the bomb, the Yattoto started walking away. However, one of them tripped over a pipe. His saber was thrown at the bomb…

"YATTOTO!" he screamed.

Meanwhile…

"That'll be 1100 yen," an old man said. He was wearing a blue jumpsuit with black and white stripes. His face was red as he was just about to laugh. Matt and Tai were looking at each other as Tai tried to reach for his wallet. His wallet was placed on the right side of his pocket. Somehow, he managed to get his wallet and take out a green card, "Charge it."

No sooner the man took the card, an explosive sound was heard. The store was shaking. Tai turned around, looking out the window. Three buildings exploded.

"Bad news," yelled Moku, over the intercom, "A bomb exploded in the city."

Tai turned to Matt as the man gave him the card back, "I need you to come with me."

Matt sighed, "Do I have a choice?"

As the two ran out the door, they both went in separate directions. However, the hands pulled and they smacked into each other and rolled down the hill.

"Why?" asked Tai.

"There's a shortcut!" yelled Matt.

"Tell me next time!" he shouted.

Matt led Tai down an alley. As the smoke got brighter, the smell got stronger. The two of them stopped as they saw a black gate. He grinned as he went to climb up on the gate. Tai followed as they hopped over.

"Why are you being so… well, crazy?" asked Tai.

Matt grinned, "Because, this is an adventure. Just like the Digital World."

Tai looked at him. He then turned to Matt, "I want to know more about why you said that later."

Later…

Al and the others ran toward the Ambulance, which was flashing as injured people walked into the ambulance. Some were lifted. Sakura turned around, looking at the group, "This is awful!"

"Yeah," said Al, looking at them, "I wouldn't be surprised if there were more. We need to find them and disable them."

"Let's split up," said Miroku.

"Agreed," said Rock, turning to Al, "But, Tai… where is he?"

Al sighed as he looked at him, "Given the shape he's in… I highly doubt he can be of use. We can do it."

The four Gingamen started running straight toward the exit, looking to find more of the bombs.

Meanwhile…

"FOOL!"

SMACK!

The Yattoto fell down and landed on the dirt. He looked up as Bombs pointed to him, "What were you thinking? That bomb was precious. We need those 30 bombs to make an effort if we plan on causing an earthquake and creating an inferno. If you blow anymore up, I will kill you myself!"

The Yattoto nodded as they marched out. As they walked away, Bombs turned around as he was looking at the remaining. They were next to a few devices as he stood there with them, "This will bring Gingaman to investigate it… well, let them blow up… watch as they touch the bomb."

He grinned, laughing non-stop.

During that time, Al was walking around the town. As he was looking at the buildings, he sighed as he walked toward another building. As he walked toward one building, he noticed Rock looking around.

"Anything, Rock?" asked Al.

"Nope. Nothing," said Rock, turning around. He then noticed something. It was a black bomb canister with a red sphere on top, "Never mind…"

"Moku, we found the bomb!" said Al.

"Be careful," said Moku, "It could be a trap."

As Al went to touch the bomb. He felt an electrical surge, which caused him to be magnetically stuck to the ground.

"Damn it!" yelled Al.

As Rock went to pull him off, an electrical surge came across as Rock was attached to the bomb. His left hand was free. As he reached for his Ginga Brace, he used his teeth to activate the com-signal, "Everyone, don't touch the bomb!"

"Too late," said Miroku.

"I can't even use ninjitsu to escape," said Sakura, "We are stuck."

Meanwhile…

Tai and Matt were glued together as they were walking away from the wreckage. They heard about what happened to the others.

"So, what do we do?" asked Tai.

"I've called Ed… but he's not answering. You are going to have to work together to disarm the bombs without detonating. Freeing them will not also magnetize you, but you will blow up," said Moku, "Including the other 30 bombs."

"Understood," said Tai, putting his Ginga Brace away.

"I guess it's up to us," said Matt.

"Us?" asked Tai, "Try me."

He then turned around. He then noticed a truck with Yattoto loading bombs. Quickly, Tai grabbed Matt and threw him to the side. As Tai looked back, Matt turned to him, "So, let's call the Digimon."

"No way," said Tai.

"Tai, come on," said Matt, "We can fight them."

Tai turned around as he looked at his best friend, "Matt, please let's do things my way."

"Tai," said Matt, "Stop being a coward."

Tai turned around and punched Matt in the face, "Excuse me… I'm a Gingaman! What about you?"

Matt looked at him. Tai clenched his fist as he looked at him. He then turned to Matt and then the trucks, "I'm sorry. That was out of line. I guess ever since I withdrew the Star Beast Swords I became more of a hero. After seeing things that are beyond what we faced in the Digital World, it has become my duty to protect my home. It's not that I don't want you to get in the way. I don't want you to get in the way because I don't want to see you hurt. If anything happens to you, you won't redigitize or anything, you are flesh and blood."

"And?" asked Matt, "So are you. Why don't we finish Bombs and save them?"

Tai grinned as he looked at Matt, "Then, let's do it."

He turned around. Immediately, one of the Yattoto's started coming toward them. Matt grabbed the Yattoto by the neck as Tai went to punch him repeatedly.

"Where are the bombs?" asked Tai.

The Yattoto stomped on Tai's foot. Immediately, Matt kicked him in the face. Tai found the pistol on the ground that he carried and pulled the trigger. Landing on the ground, Tai and Matt rushed out as the truck started leaving the area.

"Let's hop on that truck!" shouted Matt.

As they ran toward the bridge, Matt and Tai looked down below as the truck headed toward their direction. Matt and Tai hopped over the fence and then jumped off the bridge, landing on top of the truck. As the two relaxed, a sword popped up out of the roof. The two rangers got up as the blades started popping out of the roof. Immediately, one of the Yattoto jumped up from the roof. Tai and Matt kicked him off the roof.

"Uh," said Matt, looking at the truck. The truck was going back and forth. Tai looked up in the sunroof. There was no driver. Matt and Tai used their feet. The glass shattered as Matt and Tai landed on the ground, the truck was heading toward a building.

"Oh shit," said Tai.

Matt grumbled as the truck drove into the warehouse. Bombs looked at them as the truck flew into the ground. The Yattoto screamed as they were run over by the truck. As the two of them got out of the truck, Bombs arrived with a few Yattoto. There was a golden board with a black console with switches. Matt and Tai ripped the wires that were attached to the golden board. Immediately, all the bombs turned off. Immediately, Tai grinned as he looked at him.

"Who do you think you are?" asked Bombs.

"I'm GingaGreen. He's a friend. We're both Digidestined," said Tai, looking at him, "That was lame."

Matt nodded as he looked at him, "Anyway, I think we can say that your mission has failed."

Matt and Tai pushed the console down. The console exploded into billions of pieces. Bombs's eyes began to glow bright red as his fist turned into a cannon, "Die!"

Tai and Matt started running for their lives as cannons were released. Explosions occurred as a result of this. As the two of them started running away from the attacks. As explosions continued on, Tai and Matt climbed up a metallic gate. As they rushed to safety, they found this metal bridge. Bombs released another cannon strike. The bridge exploded. With the exception of Matt, Tai yelled as he went to fall. Matt grabbed Tai's hand.

"Tai!" yelled Matt.

"Matt!" yelled Tai, looking at his hand. He could feel his fingers move, "I can move! Let go of me!"

"No way," said Matt, "I've been friends with you for too long."

Bombs laughed as he looked at them, "Ah, friends… well, it's time to die now. So, die!"

Tai and Matt looked at each other and then the fiery pit below them. Suddenly, blue beams hit the ground. Bombs yelled as he landed on the ground. Turning around, Tai noticed a man wearing a black suit.

"Tai! I'm here!"

Tai looked at the light. As the shadow figured was illuminated by the light, it was Ed Elric in his Black Knight armor.

"Ed!" shouted Tai.

Bombs stared at Ed with death as he continued to raise his cannon-like arm, "You will die today."

Ed laughed as he flipped over and kicked Bombs with full force. Bombs flew into the wall and broke it. As he landed on the ground, he stood up as the other Gingaman showed up in their suits. Ed and the others jumped up with their Star Beast Swords. Bombs released cannon balls. Explosions occurred as the rangers flew, landing on the ground. Continuing the battle, Tai and Matt looked at the fight.

"You know," said Matt, looking at Tai, "I hope I would be able to help you. It sucks when there's a threat and we have the six of you saving us."

"So," said Tai, looking at Matt, "You're jealous?"

Matt nodded, "I wish I was a Gingaman too."

Tai grinned, "Well, me too. Anyway, let's finish him off, together."

Matt grinned and nodded his head slowly. The Digidestined walked out as Bombs turned around, "You guys again…"

Tai stood in front of Matt as he looked at Bombs, "Bombs, you aren't going to get away with this."

Matt nodded as he stood next to Tai, "Tai's right. You will fall… just like the other Balban Commanders."

"Well," said Bombs, "Allow me to demonstrate!"

As a cannonball erupted from the cannon. Heading toward Matt, Tai began to glow in a green aura as he shielded Matt from the attack. An explosion occurred as Tai appeared in his green uniform. Al and the others watched as Tai jumped up, landed on top of Matt's shoulder.

"Seijyuken!"

As he slashed Bombs in the stomach, he stumbled backwards as Matt ran toward him. Jumping up, he landed on top of Tai. A green aura surrounded his saber, heading toward Bombs.

"Uh-oh," said Bombs.

"Seijyuken, Gale Storm Strike!"

As Bombs was struck, wind emerged out of the blade, hitting the body of the creature. As he landed on the ground, the other Gingaman arrived to help Tai.

"Let's finish this!" said Tai.

"Arise, Galaxy Lights!" yelled the Gingaman. A golden bracelet appeared on their right arm. Their belt buckles were enhanced. They had a claw on their left hand and their swords were enhanced on their right hand.

"Combination Flash!" yelled Tai.

Immediately, the Gingaman put their hands together in a significant way to hold Tai's feet. Tai jumped up as he flipped over. First, he landed on Matt and then he flipped over. He then landed on Ed and then jumped up. He landed on the Gingaman's head. He jumped, turned around in a spiral formation. As a green aura surrounded him, he flew straight into Bombs. Bombs screamed as Tai landed on the ground. Sparks flew as he landed on the ground.

"Balban X!" he screamed, drinking the barrel. Immediately, he grew ten times bigger.

"Damn," said Matt, gulping.

"Gingalcon!" yelled Tai.

Immediately, Gingalcon and the other Starbeasts materialized onto the battlefield. "Starbeasts, Silver Transformation!" yelled Tai.

The Starbeasts began to glow into their mechanical forms.

"Seijyu Gattai, Gingaioh!" yelled Tai.

GingaLeon folded its arms and legs. The head moved back and up. Pushing out the torso, GingaLeon's transformation was complete. Gingarilla folded its arms and the chest went down to the knees. Next, was the power of Gingalcon. He shrunk its head with Gingaverick turning into the right arm and Gingat with the left. GingaLeon's head revealed a silver face with golden horns. Finally, all five combined.

"Super Armor, activate!" yelled Tai.

Gingaioh began to glow, causing his special armor to materialize. As Gingaioh charged forward, Bombs released attacks. The saber blocked the attacks. Bombs just released cannon bombs to the point of no return. The Gingaman yelled as they landed on the ground.

"GingaBitus!" yelled Al.

The shark-like fortress moved out of the waterfall. As GingaBitus began to glow bright red, the top part of GingaBitus rose from the ground and landed on top. A blue light activated as parts of GingaPhoenix were released. The five parts of GingaPhoenix transformed into its own robot. Immediately, GingaPhoenix flew down and kicked Bombs in the face. As Bombs landed on the ground, GingaPhoenix released a boomerang. The boomerang began to glow bright blue as thunder and lightning came from the sky, charging it. The boomerang came across, slashing Bombs in the stomach.

"Nice," said Tai, "Now, for the ending!"

The Silver Armor Sword began to illuminate a bright gold energy charge.

"Silver Armor Sword, Great Galaxy Beast King Cut!"

Gingaioh raised the saber and then cut across Bombs. Bombs yelled as he exploded in the process from the attack. Parts of his body has turned to stone in the process.

Later that evening…

"So," said Al, looking at the others. He noticed that Ed was not present, but the other Gingaman were there to celebrate. Rock and Miroku were making dinner while Sakura set the table. Al sighed as he looked at the others, "Another Balban plan destroyed."

"This time," said Tai, overhearing him, "It was Matt who saved the day."

Matt looked at Tai, "Now, come on. It was all you."

Tai looked at him, "No, it's you. You may not be a Gingaman, but at least you were able to help defeat Bombs. And we didn't need no Digimon!"

As Tai went to lean on the stove, Miroku and Rock turned to him. Tai looked over. His hand was bright red, "YEOW!"

"And this is why we don't touch the stove," said Matt, grinning.

Tai looked at Matt with anger as he looked at him. As Matt went to walk away, he tripped and landed on the ground. A glass of water tipped and immediately, he was splashed all over the place. The Gingaman laughed as Tai and Matt sat next together in agony.

"Why me?" asked Tai and Matt.

Next Time on Anime Sentai…

Al: Starbeast Hunter?

Moku: That is correct. Balban has sent a Starbeast Hunter to hunt down GoTaurus.

Tai: That means, Ed is in danger!

Miroku: I think we have a bigger problem.

Rock: He knows every move we make.

Sakura: Something's up…

Ed: Why are you here?
