36. Dinner Plans

Written for 4/5/2014's DDN, prompt: Accede

"Macaroni and cheese!" Toraburu yelled.

"I'm making chicken nuggets," Kagome said calmly.

"Hot dogs!" Yamazaru squealed in a way that only his mother could understand.

"I'm making chicken nuggets," the miko repeated, less calmly.

"Chicken nuggets again?" Sesshoumaru asked in a way Kagome considered a whine.

"Okay, you know what? I don't know why I'm bothering to cook at all if no one wants to eat it!"

"Nuggets will be fine," the taiyoukai said flatly.

"Hot dogs!"

"Macaroni and cheese!"

Kagome sighed. "Fine, I'm done."

Sesshoumaru sighed. There was only one way this would end, with a trip to McDonald's.
