Chapter Thirty Two – A Gathering

(Future – Volterra, Italy – 11:59 AM)

Bella stood under the clock tower, looking up at the hands of the clock, as it counted down til noon. Just like the day she came to save Edward, the St. Marcus festival was going on in the city. She smirked as she watched those with the red cloaks walk around as if vampires and demons no longer existed. She often wondered what would happen if they came out of hiding but didn't really want to find out. As she turned her eyes towards the fountain she had ran through to get to Edward those many years ago, her heart clenched at the thought of his death but she couldn't believe what she had found. Through out her demonic years with her mate and friends, Bella tried to locate Alice to keep an eye on her yet she wasn't able to find the young pixie vampire when she was human. Bella stood at a distance as she watched them travel trying to stick to the animal diet as they tried to find the family that would change their lives.

She kept herself at a distance as Jasper was turned and started his life as a vampire. Sesshoumaru had told her that only when she knew he would be leaving would she be allowed to help him take down the psychotic bitch. Bella stood in the shadows waiting as she replayed some of the stories she heard Jasper telling Emmett when they played the nice little family. Even as she watched it from a distance, Bella could see what everyone was saying about Edward controlling every aspect of her life. It took everything ounce of control not to show herself and rip the bastard apart. Inuyasha had to stop her one Blood moon because she went crazy. It was during Edward's rebellious stage. Bella knew what he was doing and wanted to take him out then but just kept her mouth shut. There was a time and place for everything and her time was coming closer as the minutes ticked by.

It wasn't until the clock above her chimed for noon, that Bella turned and headed back into the castle. The 'games' would be starting a little after noon thus meaning she needed to speak with Aro, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru before she faced her opponent. Bella even spoke to Suyri about her fight with Rosalie only to have the neko Taiyoukai to tell her she didn't mind at all. Kagome was correct in the fact that Suyri didn't like to fight but when she did, it was one hell of a fight because cat scratches are known to get infected shortly after happening. Focusing her mind, Bella allowed herself to move through the hallways with no sound at all. She passed the front desk to see that Gina was still sitting there as always looking at her nails. Bella waved at the human as she continued on her way.

After 500 years of surviving to the present tended to make allies and friends. It took a little over 10 years for Bella and Kagome along with the others to finally come to trust Kayumi alone with the children but after that they would trust the demoness with their lives and the lives of their children. Pushing the button to the elevator, Bella crossed her arms and started to tap her foot as she waited. The elevator was rather slow and a few times she had ran down the steps only to beat the elevator to the floor she needed. This time, however, she would use the elevator because she knew that Aro didn't appreciate it especially if a human was to see her. There were a few close calls but she was able to recover herself before discovery. When the door pinged and opened, Bella entered the elevator to see that Kagome and Suyri were inside as well. She just raised a brow as she walked in and turned her back to them, pressing the button she needed.

"Alice had another vision." Kagome whispered as she reached forward and pressed the stop button. "It seems that Rosalie is going to try and drain you." Her eyes were slightly tinted pint revealing her beast was close to the surface.

"If you don't want to do this..." Suyri trailed off in a small voice.

Bella smirked as she cocked her head to the side, leaning against the elevator wall. "Do I ever back down from a challenge?"

"No." Both Kagome and Suyri said in unison.

"Then there is nothing to talk about." Bella told them as she turned and pressed the floor button once again. "I'll rip Rosalie apart and have fun doing it then get to watch as my mate rips my asshole of an ex apart. What's not to love?" She chuckled as the elevator doors opened revealing a small hallway.

Kagome sighed as Suyri snorted as they followed Bella out of the elevator and towards the arena. They would stay with her until the fight started then stand on the side lines in case Rosalie did get the upper hand, which the blonde vampire wouldn't get the chance. Everyone knew how Bella fought because of the fact Kagome told many of them that her and Bella fought about the same. Although no one had really seen Bella in hand to hand combat, they all knew she could hold her own in a fight. She was taught by the best. Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Jasper. Bella was even able to get Sango to teach her a few thing before the slayer was unable to preform the techniques any longer.

Bella smirked as she entered the room and walked over to stand beside her mate. Rosalie and Edward were chained to the wall with magical ropes to keep them from getting loose. There was a small group of vampires standing around the edge of the throne room which told Bella she would have an audience. Kagome and Suyri walked over and stood next to their mates only for Rosalie to snarl as she watched Suyri walk over and stand beside Emmett. The vampire's eyes grew black as she watched the woman stand on her tip toes and kiss Emmett on the cheek then snuggled up to his side. Edward was snarling as he watched Bella stand next to Inuyasha because he didn't like the fact she was standing close to another male. Bella smirked as she turned her head and kissed Inuyasha before she looked back at Edward, locking eyes with him.

A sadistic grin spread across her face as she turned her eyes to Aro, Marcus and Caius. She wanted to get things going.

"I would like to welcome my friends for a match to the death." Aro spoke up as he looked around to the vampires standing on the side lines. "We are here for Isabella Swan Tashio and Inuyasha Tashio to pass judgment on Edward Masen Cullen and Rosalie Diana Hale." Whispers started to circulate.

"What are their crimes?" A male stepped forward and I noticed his eyes were also golden color.

Aro smiled as he tilted his head slightly to the side. "Eleazar my old friend, I am sorry to inform you that Edward and Rosalie have committed crimes against our brethren in Japan." He motioned with his hands towards Bella. "It is young Isabella that Edward had dated and revealed who he was. Not only that but he came because he had heard of his death but she was not dead. Simply hidden by the shifters of Forks."

"Then why is she still human?" A dark headed female said as she stood by Eleazar.

"I'm not." Bella purred as she grinned widely. "I'm what they call a Chishio Demon."

Eleazar pulled the woman behind his back. "My kings you allow this?!"

"It is not for you to decide." Marcus finally spoke. "Young Isabella and Lady Kagome have been good to us and helped when things were at their darkest."

"Where is Carlisle and Esme?" A blonde woman asked as she stood beside her sisters. "Are they still alive?"

"Yes." A timid voice came from the opposite side of the room where the Kagome and the others were gathered. "Carlisle and I have been persuaded to change our diets." Esme looked rather youthful as she stood next to Carlisle, both sporting red eyes.

"ENOUGH!" Caius booming voice sounded as he stood glaring at the others in the room. "We are here to allow Isabella and Inuyasha to fight for their right to mate each other. Edward Masen Cullen and Rosalie Diana Hale have challenged their right because they hold a grudge." His eyes were pitch black as Athenodora stood slightly behind the throne as did the other two Queens.

Aro nodded clapping his hand. "I agree brother." His eyes moved to Bella. "Who shall go first my dear?" He cocked his head to the side as a sly smile spread across his face. "Will you or your mate," A growl from Edward could be heard. "go first?"

Bella smirked as she cracked her knuckles taking off her cloak revealing her fighting outfit. Her weapon on her side as she smirked pulling it off and handing it over to her mate. The weapon hummed filling the room then caused his sword to hum causing both to quieten down. Sesshoumaru smirked as Kagome chuckled at the faces of the others in the room. Most of them had never seen demonic weapons before and this was the first for many. Demetri was beside the two prisoners with the 'key' to their 'shackles'. As Bella moved out into the middle of the floor, Kagome stepped forward and nodded to Aro, telling him she was ready. Kagome would protect those who were on the side lines with a shield along with Sesshoumaru.

Demetri lead Rosalie out into the center of the floor in front of Bella. He released Rosalie then jumped backwards before the pinkish purple dome encased the two who were fighting. No sooner then Demetri was out of the way, Rosalie lunged towards Bella with every thing she had. Jasper and Emmett had taught her some moves but she was no match for Bella since Bella was taught by the best. Rosalie was able to get a hold of her arm, bring it to her mouth and bite down. Bella laughed out loud as Rosalie dried to pull her blood into her mouth, however, Bella was able to manipulate her shield around her and covered her body with a thin layer no thicker then glass but would withstand a bullet. Just as Rosalie tried to sink her teeth into Bella's skin, her shield reacted to the threat and tossed her across their small little battle area.

Many gasps were heard since it was so silent that a pin could have dropped and a human could have heard it. Demon and vampires alike were holding their breathe as Rosalie stood, eyes black in rage as she glared at Bella. Bella, on the other hand, wasn't fazed at all by the vampires gaze. She raised a brow in challenge causing Emmett to snort in amusement. Suyri slapped him on the shoulder shaking her head as she crossed her arms and turned her eyes back to the fight. Kagome smirked but she had to concentrate in order for her dome didn't purify Rosalie on accident. She knew this battle was Bella's thus she knew to stay out, instinctively. Rosalie let out a loud roar then launched herself at Bella once again. Bella ducked, allowing Rosalie to go sailing over her and landing, as Bella spun around and slashed Rosalie across the back.

Rosalie snarled as she spun around and tried to return the favor only for Bella to dodge her once again and slash her across the side this time. Everyone was on the edge of their seat as they watched Bella take her time slashing Rosalie as she skirted around, playing with her. Inuyasha yawned as he cracked his neck. He was watching Edward follow Bella's every movement and didn't like it at all. His Inu was wanting his mate to hurry because they wanted to have their fun. It had been a while that he was able to fight with just his claws but he knew it was like riding a bike. Inuyasha was rather proud he finally understood some of the things Kagome had said when she first arrived. Although it did take him a little while even when the times started to change but with Kagome, Sesshoumaru and his mate, Inuyasha knew he could do anything.

"You little bitch." Rosalie spat venom from her mouth as it poured from a cut on her face that wasn't seeming to heal. "I will kill you."

"No, you wont." Bella told Rosalie as she disappeared from in front of the blonde haired bitch that hurt her brother.

In the next instant, Bella reappeared behind Rosalie with one hand around her neck and another holding onto her hair. A wide grin was spread across Bella's face as she looked into her mates eyes, however, Rosalie was staring in shock as Emmett leaned over and kissed Suyri on the mouth. She was staring at the young man standing beside Emmett and couldn't help but see the resemblance. A whimper came out of her mouth causing Bella to stop for a moment as she realized what Rosalie must be seeing.

"Do you see Emmett's mate and oldest?" Bella purred as she taunted the female vampire. "He's happy and has finally found his true mate. Suyri may be a demon but once she mated with Emmett, he was able to do the things you can only wish. I bet it tears at you that he finally has what you always wanted." Rosalie started to thrash around. "A Family."

Bella didn't let it go on any longer as she ripped the blonde bitches head off in one clean pull. Edward roared behind her but all she could do was smile wide as Inuyasha made his way over to her as Kagome lowered the dome like barrier. In a flash, Inuyasha pulled Bella to his arms. Kissing her and running his hands over her to make sure she was unharmed.

"Are you ok?" Inuyasha whispered his ears laying against his head.

Bella nodded as she kissed him once more. "Hai," A twinkle formed in her eye. "Why shouldn't I be?"

Inuyasha chuckled as Kagome shook her head and Sesshoumaru snorted. Edward was thrashing around trying to break free of his confinement but to no avail he was unable to break loose. Inuyasha leap back over and sat Bella down on her feet. He kissed her soundly once more then turned his pinkish tinted eyes towards Edward. His markings pulsed as he pulled Tetsaiga out of his obi and handed it to Bella. She pulled it close to her as she cradled it like a babe. She also placed her Chakrum back where it belonged as Inuyasha made his way out into the middle of the floor. Kagome sighed as she looked to Bella. Her friend nodded, as if agreeing to help with this shield. Bella and Kagome both knew that Inuyasha was extremely powerful and only shielded him because of the fact his youki was so large.

Inuyasha's youki wasn't as powerful as Sesshoumaru's but over the years it had grown as if he was full demon. Kagome believed that it had to do with Sesshoumaru finally accepting Inuyasha into the Inu pack he was born into. Bella believed it had to do with that but also with their mating. She had felt as times over the 500 years that he drew on some of her powers while fighting. Both Kagome and Bella held their breathe as his claws slightly lengthened because his youki was pulsing rather close to the surface. More so then it had been in the past once he learned to control it. Even Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes at his brother, if the Taiyoukai didn't know any better his brother was close to taking an Inu form. Inuyasha nodded to Demetri to release Edward.

Edward was in front of Inuyasha in the blink of an eye but Inuyasha just chuckled as his blood red eyes with a blue pupil danced with amusement. Everyone held their breathe as Edward and Inuyasha circled each other. Bella held Kagome's hand as they kept the dome barrier in place. Sesshoumaru stepped forward and added his youki just in case Inuyasha's decided to expand just a little more. Sesshoumaru also placed his youki into the walls of the throne room, expanding it just in case Inuyasha did take an Inu form. Aro frowned as he looked around but decided to keep his mouth shut. They had seen Sesshoumaru do that before yet never at Volterra or inside the castle. The bystanders moved backwards as the dome barrier expanded and grew. It no more then a few minutes, the dome was about the size of a football field and as high as one of the ningen skyscrapers.

Inuyasha and Edward stopped circling each other and crouched. Inuyasha knew about Edward's gift but also knew how to move around the mind reader. Letting his instincts take over and show just how powerful a hanyou can be, Inuyasha disappeared from in front of Edward only to reappear behind him. Everyone watching held their breathe as Edward was sent flying forward. He flipped around and landed, skidding a few feet before he snapped his head up and snarled at Inuyasha. Inuyasha's markings pulsed in time with his heart beat as he stalked towards Edward. No one could believe that a vampire was having a hard time dealing with this half demon although they could feel the pulse of youki in the air from the Lord of Japan as well as his Beta.

"I'll kill you." Edward spat as he stood tall. "You cant keep going like you have. You'll wear out and then I'll rip you apart and take Bella as my mate." Venom dripped from the corner of his mouth.

Inuyasha smirked as he tilted his head, his ears twitching. "You think so?" His voice was rather gruff as he narrowed his eyes, the smirk disappearing. "I doubt that."

Edward lunged towards Inuyasha, yet before he could get to the hanyou, a bright light engulfed Inuyasha. Everyone outside the dome had to cover their eyes as the brightness wasn't just encased in the dome of reitai, youki and a shield. Edward was flung backwards as a roar echoed through the air. Bella gasped as her eyes finally adjusted to the brightness only to see a slightly smaller Inu standing where her mate had been. The bright red crescent moon shone brightly on his forehead as he raised his lips to snarl at Edward, who he stood over. Edward tried to move but wasn't able because of the fact Inuyasha had one paw covering half of his body. The lower half. Sesshoumaru stared with wide eyes at his brother because he was about half the size of his Inu form. The only difference other then the size was the markings, the color of the crescent moon and his size.

The Inu let out a laugh like bark as he bent down and snapped his jaws around Edwards upper half. It wasn't long before he ripped Edward into two different pieces. He tossed the upper half towards the fire, it landing direction in it. An inhuman scream echoed through the air as the head and torso of Edward burned. Bella stared with wide eyes as his burning eyes locked on hers. She felt her world tilt as she felt the love she did when he first met him. A few tears fell down her cheeks as she turned to her mate. A sad smile spread across her face as he was looking at her with worry. She shook her head, signaling him to finish. Her and Edward were long gone and there was no way she would ever wish to return to the life of a shadow of herself. Inuyasha completed her in a way Edward never could. He filled a place in her heart that was missing and not only when they were with each other but even apart.

"Finish it." Bella whispered at her mate causing Kagome to lay a hand on her shoulder.

Inuyasha smirked doggishly as he picked the bottom half and tossed it over into the fire. A pulse of youki and Inuyasha was suddenly standing there with pink tinted eyes. Sesshoumaru withdrew his youki along with Kagome and Bella withdrawing their own power. Inuyasha walked over and grabbed his mate, licked the tears off her cheeks and then kissed her with as much passion he felt for her. Bella whimpered as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Everyone disappeared as they got lost in each other. Only when their daughter cleared her throat did Inuyasha pull back from his mate. Bella's eyes were still hooded as she allowed a sly smile to spread across her face. She leaned forward and kissed him as soundly as she could before Jake coughed a few times.

"Ok guys," Jake pulled Ai towards him. "If you're going to do that, get a room."

Inuyasha chuckled as Bella cut her eyes towards Jake. "Don't push it Jacob." She warned him as she looked at the Kings. "Inuyasha and I are done. The floor is yours."

Inuyasha walked over to where Sesshoumaru now stood with Kagome. Aro nodded as he looked at the Denali's. They didn't need to be mind readers to know what he was thinking because everyone there knew how the Kings disapproved of the 'vegetarian' lifestyle. Aro looked between Marcus and Caius before he turned his eyes back to the witnesses, stepping forward.

"Those of you that believe your lifestyle," His eyes went to the Denali's. "Feeding from animals will protect you, you are mistaken. Only human blood is able to substance us for a long period of time. For those that do, I will give you plenty of time to change your feeding process."

Jasper whimpered as Alice held onto him. "What about those that can not feed from humans." Alice spoke as she held her mates hand, cutting her eyes to Bella. "With Jasper's gift, he will fall into a depression."

Aro nodded in understanding. "For those who can not feed directly from a human," He smiled sadly at Jasper. "We will provide a number where donated blood will be sent to a post office box. While do not like those to live off our natural diet, we can understand that those with gifts may need a little leeway."

"What about nomads?" Another red eyed vampire asked. "We never stay in one spot for long."

"Then you shall receive a number and a card." Sesshoumaru stepped forward. "This Sesshoumaru has spoken with the humans who run blood banks. Most of the blood they receive is unable to be used for numerous problems. That they can not use, they will give to those with a card and number."

Many whispers started as Charlie walked in. "There is a human here!?" A female stepped forward pointing at Charlie. "How are we keeping our existence a secret when there are humans who know of us!?"

"Only a select few know." Bella spoke up this time. "As for that human, he is my father." She snarled her eyes turning black.

"Quiet!" Caius spoke this time as he stood. "Charlie Swan is only a few of the humans who know of us. As for his reason, would you like to fight against Lady Bella?" His eyes scanned the crowd. "Not to mention he lives in Forks where shifters live and have since they first shifted. He is no more a threat to us then a fully grown vampire."

Bella was watching what was going on but she couldn't help but frown as she stared at Tanya Denali. Tanya was staring at her father as if he was a piece of meat. It was only when Tanya started forward that Bella knew what was happening. Charlie also seemed to be lost in Tanya's gaze while told Bella the only thing she needed to know. Tanya was her father's mate. Not that she would have believed it.

"Tanya?" Kate whispered as she went to grab her sisters arm but was tossed back.

"MINE!" Tanya hissed as she spun around crouching.

Kate froze as she saw her sister spin around and move towards Charlie, Bella's father. Everyone seemed to stop moving as Tanya made her way over to Charlie. Bella went to move but Inuyasha grabbed her and growled low enough to calm her. It was only when Tanya raised her hand to cup Charlie's face that Charlie smiled and grabbed her pulling her forward and planting a kiss on her cold lips. Bella gasped along with a few others as Jake just stared with his mouth open and eyes wide. Ai placed her hand under her mate's chin and closed it. Only when Charlie and Tanya pulled apart did Aro clear his throat as he held Marcus hand.

"It seems to me that Charlie may not be mortal much longer." Aro smiled as he looked to Bella. "Their bond is rather strong already. Many vampires do not find their mates until they are changed. It seems to me and my brothers that vampire gifts run in the family, Mrs. Tashio." He chuckled when Bella growled.

Charlie finally seemed to be drawn out of whatever trance he was in as he looked around with wide eyes. It was only when his eyes went to Bella, Charlie swallowed. They had spoken about what would happen if this had happened. He kissed Tanya's hand as he moved over to Bella, however, Tanya wasn't far behind.

"Bells?" Charlie asked taking Bella's hand. "Are you ok with this? I mean... I know its sudden but..."

Bella placed a hand over Charlie's mouth to stop him from talking. "Do you think you can deal with me for eternity?" She smiled as she hugged him. "Because you do need to realize, you wont sleep, eat, or need to breathe any longer."

"My pains will be gone?" Charlie asked when he pulled back.

"You'll have a new body, mate." Tanya purred as she rubbed up against him from behind.

Bella gagged. "Gross." She cut her eyes to Tanya. "Just don't hurt him and find a room."

"My pleasure." Tanya smirked as she scooped Charlie into her arms.

Bella and the others laughed as Charlie started to protest about her carrying him until he realized how fast they were going. She just shook her head knowing her father was going to have a wonderful eternity. The only problem would be Renee if she wished to see her. Bella smiled as she felt her mates surround her. Ai was with Jake as they headed out the door. She knew her daughter would not be a young girl much longer. Ai Marie would be a mated woman and hopefully a wonderful mother. Inuyasha scooped up Bella and darted over and jumped out of the window causing Sesshoumaru to growl at him. Kagome shook her head as she drug her mate out of the room. Emmett finally was able to introduce his mate and oldest son, Nanil.

Carlisle and Esme begged for forgiveness for their blindness but it was Alice who cried tearlessly as she hung on Emmett. Jasper spoke with Suyri as Carlisle and Esme spoke with Nanil. Once the witnesses were dismissed they scattered or remained in the situation with the Denali's. Eleazar and Carmen weren't as nervous as Kate and Irina because of the years before where their mother disobeyed the law that forbid them from creating an immortal child. Tanya was happy which allowed the other sisters to be happy for her and relax a slight bit. It wasn't long before 'lunch' was brought and every vampire in the room fed. Even Jasper after Bella whispered to him to feed and she would shield him from the emotions. It didn't take long before Alice nodded, seeing Jasper happy, and darted over snapping two female's necks and tossed one to Jasper.

The youkai's stood back yet Bella couldn't help to feed, for the first time in years, with the family she adopted as her own all those years ago. Even Emmett and Nanil joined in yet Ai had to take Jacob out of the throne room the first time a vampire snapped a human's neck. Even if they were thieves, killers, rapist or the terminal ill, Jacob couldn't allow human's to die thus Ai took her mate away from the feeding she knew needed to be done. It was her idea for her mother and other vampires to feed from the menace of society and not only help themselves but also the humans who give them life. The Kings were leery at first but after the first group of murders from all over the world came in from each leader, Aro, Marcus and Caius decided it would be a wonderful idea. Thus helping everyone in the process. Now all they needed to do was see what the future brought.

(Few Years In The Future – Tokyo, Japan)

Bella stood next to Charlie as she watched her children, all seven of them, run around with the other children of the castle. Charlie had been turned as soon as they were in private and has stuck by Tanya like glue for the first few months after his rebirth. Ai Marie was sitting on the ground between Jacob's legs as their hands were intertwined on her swollen stomach. Kagome and Sesshoumaru had to go to Volturi because of the fact Kayumi was about to give birth and wished for Kagome to be there. Emmett and his small brood, four children. Two boys and two girls. The years past with ease after they were finally able to live out in the open. No longer having to hide from their other selves. Even Kagome has spoken with her mother and was granted to meet with her by Sesshoumaru. It was a rather joyious day because she was able to meet her seven grandchildren.

"Did you ever think of this possibility?" Bella asked leaning against her father. "That we would be able to live together forever with the ones we love?" She cut her eyes up to her father.

Charlie nodded as he kissed his daughter's head. "I always knew you were special, Bells." He whispered as he watched his grandchildren run around and have fun with their older siblings. "I'm just glad I got to come along for the ride."
