(Twins are 9years old)

Yuki walked silently beside Kiyoshi, she couldn't find her voice, her hand was sweating so much, Kiyoshi must have noticed, oh no please don't make him realize how nervous I am

"Let's go in there" Kiyoshi smiled, pointing to the haunted house.

Yuki's eyes widened, she was terrified of the dark. Kiyoshi gently pulled her hand as he entered the queue, her heart raced as they moved towards the entrance.

Tell him you're afraid, tell him you can't go in there, I can't he will think I'm being silly

"Are you alright?" he turned and asked as their hands were stamped.

Yuki paused; she placed her head down, covering her eyes.

"I-I'm scared" she admitted, finally finding her voice.

Kiyoshi smiled, he gently squeezed her hand.

"I'll look after you" he slowly led her into the haunted house.

Yuki closed her eyes, if she didn't see anything she wouldn't need to scream. She felt Kiyoshi's hand leading her around the darkness; she suddenly felt an arm touch her waist.

"Ahhh!" she screamed, opening her eyes.

Kiyoshi laughed from behind her, "It's only me, I thought holding you like this" he wrapped his arms around her waist. "I could keep you safer" he smiled.

Yuki's heart tightened, as he hugged her. Her breathing suddenly became heavy and she was conscious of her loud heartbeat, pounding against her chest, she wondered if Kiyoshi noticed. No she wondered if he was feeling the same way as she was, was he just as nervous as her. She looked over her shoulder, his dark blue hair brushed across her face, she couldn't see his eyes.

"Kiyoshi...?" she whispered.

The boy turned his head but his hair still covered his face, she couldn't tell if he was even looking at her.

"Is everything ok, are you still scared?" he asked as they walked through the cold, creaky house.

"N-no…" she mumbled.

"What's wrong then?" he asked.

"I-I can't see your face" she whispered.

"Oh"

Kiyoshi slowly turned Yuki around, so she was facing him.

"Is that better?" he asked.

Yuki looked up to him, she slowly lifted her arms, her hands were trembling as she slowly moved his dark blue hair. Kiyoshi stared at her; his cheeks rushed a sweet pink as she stared into his light grey eyes.

"It's much better when I can look into your eyes Kiyoshi" she smiled.

"Rawr!" A large man yelled as he jumped out from behind one of the doors.

Yuki screamed, Kiyoshi took her hand and ran towards the exit. The man began to chase them; Yuki screamed more as the man tried to snatch her. Kiyoshi pulled the girl to the right, he turned and laughed at her, she turned to him and smile. He held her hand tight so as not to lose her, the pair laughed together as they ran out of the house.

Kiyoshi fell forward, opening the main door. Yuki continued to giggle until he turned towards her; she suddenly became self-conscious as she looked into his light grey eyes. He had swept his hair to the side; he smiled at her causing her cheeks to blush.

"Come on we'll go on the big wheel" he suggested, taking her hand once more.

The sun had set, the stars were out and the fairground was covered in all the colours of a rainbow. The two walked hand in hand through the busy pier, the smell of candy floss and hot dogs filled the air. Yuki walked slower, falling behind Kiyoshi, she wanted to take her time, she loved being with him, she didn't want the night to end. He turned and pointed toward the sweet store, she stared at him. She had once again lost her voice because her mind was too focused on calming her racing heart.

"Do you want something to eat?" he asked.

Yuki covered her face, she could feel her cheeks burning red, why couldn't she look at him without her heat almost missing a beat?

Kiyoshi moved his hand towards her, moving her hair from her face; she looked up and stared at him. He was smiling at her, his small dimples pressed in on either side of his cheeks, she had never seen them before, but then again he never use to smile a lot.

"If I can't hide my face, you can't hide yours" he laughed as he turned and asked the women at the store for some sweets.

He handed her a bag of pink heart sweets, she felt her face flush again. He took her hand once more and led her to the big wheel; he chose the blue cart which had yellow seats inside. Yuki sat awkwardly holding her sweets, while Kiyoshi finished the bag he had brought, he was looking up, out of the cart window frame.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

Kiyoshi turned, "I'm listening to the stars" he smiled.

Yuki stared at him, "What do you mean, listening to the stars?" she asked.

He seemed to ignore her as the cart got higher into the sky; he turned and took her hand. Yuki wobbled as the cart titled a little, she was a little scared, she hated heights but she trusted Kiyoshi enough to be so high.

"It's not the stars talking to me when I hear whispers, its peoples thoughts and memories, I can call upon them whenever I want to" he smiled as he looked up to the sapphire sky.

Yuki stared up at the blinking dots, her hands suddenly became calmly as she realized she had once prayed to the stars, she had prayed for Kiyoshi to know her feelings. Her heart fell into her stomach; maybe him knowing wasn't a good thing, what if he rejected her love.

"H-have you ever heard my voice?" she asked slowly.

He shook his head, "No, but I've never connected with you, until tonight" he smiled.

Yuki's heart tightened, Kiyoshi noticed how nervous she looked.

"If you've spoken to the stars, I don't have to listen to them if you don't want me to know what you've said to them" he reassured her.

Yuki shook her head; "It's fine, the stars are your magic, I don't want to stop you from connecting to something so beautiful" she smiled, blushing.

Kiyoshi leaned back, so he was standing in the cart. Yuki turned and stared at him.

"Is everything alright?" she questioned, oh no his heard my prayer and now his freaking out.

"I-I want to show you something" he stuttered.

Yuki remained silent; her thoughts were in there thousands. She noticed Kiyoshi's hands were shaking, he slowly placed them together.

"Are you ok?" she asked quietly.

He nodded his head but his shaking body worried her, he closed his eyes as a small light appeared in his hand. Yuki stared at the small spark within his palm, she looked back up to him, the tattoo on his eye began to shine to, she felt the need to touch him as the marking shone brighter, it looked so deep in his skin.

Kiyoshi slowly parted his hands, all the colours from the rainbow glowed back at Yuki, her face lit up as she looked at the beautiful, shinning colours.

"A rainbow" she whispered.

Kiyoshi's hands lay out in front of him; the rainbow went from one hand to the over, causing it to curl around. Yuki had never seen something so wonderful in all her life, not only can he listen to the stars but his able to make something that is meant to be in the sky, sit within his small palms.

"H-how do you do that?" she asked.

"I've not finished" Kiyoshi whispered, his voice shook as he spoke.

Yuki looked at the rainbow, what more could he do, she wondered.

Kiyoshi bit his lip as his hands shook; she noticed tears forming in his eyes. Yuki went to walk toward him but he closed his palms and pushed them towards her, she turned as he did this. There in the sky, resting just over the ocean was a rainbow, a whole rainbow. She turned back to him; tears fell from his light grey eyes. She didn't understand why he was crying. She walked over to him, she placed her head on his shoulders as she turned back to look at the beautiful colours in the sky.

"Your magic is amazing, thank you for showing me it" she whispered.

"I don't normally make rainbows, but this one is just for you" he wrapped his arms around her.

The pair held one another as the wheel turned slowly around, Yuki wasn't sure if he had heard her words to the stars but she was happy with the fact he felt combatable enough to show her his magic. She had heard from Ayoko that he had stopped making magic since he started school, she had a feeling Katio may be a part of the reason why, but some part of him now must have felt safe with her, to show her something so beautiful.
