They were assailed by the undead the moment they came within view of the keep; the revenant made very short work of them as they attacked it and ignored Lilith, who just strode up to the upper walkway, using her force power to launch the undead archers firing upon the revenant against the far wall, crushing their limbs.

As she neared the doorway to Sanguinis private chamber, she had to squeeze past the undead as they piled in.

Sanguinus lay in his own blood, barely breathing, behind a poorly improvised shield made up of his overturned couch.

The undead seemed unable to reach him as he was shielded in a withering force shield.

Lilith did the same as before, putting them down as she built up her store of life and stamina.

Sanguinus shield fell as the last corpse dropped to her feet.

She knelt by the mage, and lifted his face to hers, "How?," she asked as she looked at his remarkably handsome, youthfull face, and body. He held in his own intestines as they leeked out fom betwen his fingers and an open stomach wound.

"Saris," he gasped out, "You just missed her, pity.I would have loved to see you suck the life right out of her. The bitch. You can do that now... can't you?"

Lilith scoweled slightly, "What else have you failed to tell me about being 'Concubine?'."

He coughed up his own blood, and smiled, "I didn't want to scare you with the truth... but, lots. Like the fact you are - if you chose to be - immortal. Happy?"

"You are suddenly easier to do this with," she sighed as she lowered her mouth to his, "Lean back, let your viscera slide back into you."

He grimaced as he complied.

She looked his body over, he looked leaner, more muscular, "Again, HOW are you so... well, beautiful?" she asked as she stared at him.

"You," he moaned.

She kissed him deeply, feeling the power surge into him through her lips.

As he healed, he instinctively kissed her back, wraping his arms around her naked form.

She broke the kiss once she felt him squeeze her harder, "Darius," she sighed softly.

"Yes?," he sighed, staring into her dialated eyes.

"No," she whispered into his lips.

"Sorry," he sighed out and blushed, "But, is there a chance for..."

She smiled, "NO," she moaned, then looked to his feet, recalled how good they'd felt, "ok, MAYBE a little something; When we find this bitch in time to stop her from whatever it is she's doing, and you don't get possessive, or jealous. Also, I prefer girls."

"Me too," he sighed happily.

"Very funny," she kissed him one last time and strode over to her pile of clothes and other belongings."

"She has an hours head start. I think," he said as he watched her dressing, and gathered as much of his own things as he felt they could use.

"You said I was responsible for... your... apparence," she muttered as he changed ot of his torn robes, displaying an enviable male physique, even more impressive han the male kept by the bandit chief.

He looked back, catching her gazing at his broad muscled back, and powerful arms.

"Turn around," she ordered.

He obeyed, "Sorry. Yes. Saris said that, when you rubbed yourself against me, you absorbed, and converted my mana stores, changed them into a sort of internal well of healing. It not only accelerated the repair of wounds, as well as the eradication of any imurities in my blood, but powered the entire process with my body's fat; then continued doing so as it restored youth and vitality to me. I got leaner, healthier, younger. It was the only thing that kept me alive when they evicerated me. I fought them off, bared their way, then restored enough mana to generate that force globe. Needless to say I owe you my life. Not to mention giving me back my youth, and what passed for beauty I once possessed."

"Huh," Lilith sighed, then rolled her eyes, "Fine. Face me, and drop your trousers from your loins."

"What? Why?" He said cautiously, then grimaced at what a fool he was. He should have done it instantly.

She laughed at his expression as he smacked himself in the head with his palm. "I'm appraising you as a lover... move your hands."

He consented, looking away from her as he turned incandescent.

She stared at his well muscled abdominals and then gaped at his impressive manhood.

She smiled, "A DEFINITE... maybe," she said, "Later. We need to stop this Saris. After? I'll see how you perform under pressure."

"I assure you..."

She smiled, but held up a dismissing hand. "I've been known to kill some male lovers - by accident - when I've not been properly satisfied. It's a naturaly occuring defence against pregnancy by an unworthy mate. I can't help it. I was exposed to red lyrium as a babe in the deep roads. My father had lost his family, and as a result never kept us as a single unit. My mother couldn't leave my brother, so I was brought to the city of Orzamar, to the palace of king Behlen - a personal friend of my parents - where I stayed as my mother aided the Inqusition."

His voice suddenly trembled," Your mother... had a son, in the Inquisition? YOU'RE Lilith?"

She smiled inspite of his obvious terror, "Still want to sample my nectar?"

He grinned, "Saris is in for an recconing... and, eh... YES PLEASE."

She grinned, and laughed happily, "You are a treat Darius. Perhapse sooner than later... we'll see. We need to catch her first."

"No need," he said happily as he turned over his couch, "THAT part will be easy. All we need is a personal item of Saris to find her. There is a man I know who can find anyone, anywhere if he holds such an object in his hand."

She sighed, "And where are we supposed to find such an object?"

He grinned as he pulled on his robes, "Easy. Your mother. Saris had a hereditary ring, it fell off her hand... when said hand was eaten away by your mother's blood... over twenty years ago."
