Ch37
Just when you had lost all hope I throw chapter 37 at your ass. LOL! Okay, so a lot has happened since I last updated…biggest change is I am now a published author. Yes, I published 30 Days of Darkness (re-titled as Black Rose) and I can now check 'Being A Published Author' off my bucket list. I want to write more but during the editing process of Black Rose I lost my will to write. I hope with finishing this story I'll find my love of writing again. Now with that being said, back to the craziness we know as School Of Mischief. And to answer the question of if I'm going to P2P this story I will answer with a HELL NO! Are You Nuts?! LOL
**SOM**
As the girls and I made our way to the cafeteria the next day I felt like I was going to vomit. Alice was talking a mile a minute about how excited she was to finally meet Jasper, and normally her energy could outshine any upsetting thoughts I had, but I just couldn't fake the enthusiasm. And looking at Rose we seemed to be on the same page.
Rose and I didn't sleep at all last night. We sat in the bathroom discussing how we were going to help Alice with the devastating blow of Jasper possibly being gay. Rose and I said more than once that we hoped Edward and Emmett just had bad gaydar*, but Rose told me it wouldn't be the first time a student came here who was gay. Rose told me they just gave them the option to leave and go to another school, which they all did, so I was a little happy that if Jasper was gay he wouldn't be forced to participate with Alice.
As we walked into the room I heard Alice gasp in delight. Rose and I looked over, and at our usual table were the boys. All of them.
"Look how handsome he is," Alice sighed. "It almost makes up for the long wait."
I gave Rose a sideways glance while nudging Alice towards the breakfast line.
"Come on, I'm starving."
By the time we got to the boys they were in a very heated conversation about cars.
"How dare you say that Dodge is better than Ford," Jasper said, disapproval oozing from his voice. "That's almost sacrilegious."
"Get the fuck outta here with that shit," Emmett laughed, moving over so Rose could sit next to him. "As long as it runs, and gets me from point A to point B without breaking down, I could care less who made it."
"Amen," I mumbled, sitting beside Edward and taking his hand into mine.
Edward laughed and leaned over, kissing my cheek. "Jasper, let me introduce you to my girlfriend, Bella."
"And this beauty sitting next to me is my girl, Rose," Emmett said, lifting Rose's hand and kissing the back of it loudly.
"Nice to meet you, ladies," Jasper smiled.
"And I'm Alice!"
We all turned and saw that Alice was still standing at the table holding her tray. Jasper must have realized that Alice was waiting for him to scoot over because the second he did she quickly placed her tray down and sat next to him.
"I'm so excited for you to be here," Alice continued while peeling the wrapper off her muffin. "Are you all settled in? Did anyone give you a tour yet?"
Jasper looked at her as if bewildered before ducking his head over his breakfast and mumbling a soft no. I looked over at Rose who just shrugged at me before stabbing her fork into her fruit salad. He seemed so lively a few seconds ago. I wonder if he's just shy around girls.
"Well, don't worry," Alice replied. "As soon as we're done here I'll give you a proper tour of the basic places, and then we'll meet up after school is done and I'll show you everything else!"
Jasper just nodded and continued eating. For a second you could see the light dim in Alice's eyes, like she knew something was terribly wrong, but it was gone just as quick as it appeared.
All too soon the ten minute warning bell went off and we all got up to head over to our first class.
"Are you ready for the oral exam today, Bella?" Rose asked.
I rolled my eyes at the smug look on her face.
"Yes, Rose. I think I've practiced enough to pass."
"Damn right you have," Edward whispered so only I could hear.
"Well that sucks," Jasper said. "I hate tests, let alone taking one on my first day."
Emmett laughed. "Dude, this oral is only for the girls. Us guys take ours next week."
Jasper looked at us in confusion.
"I don't understand. What kind of oral exam is –" and then you saw the look of understanding flash across his face. "Oh… you mean…"
"We're sucking dick today." Rose answered with a smile.
Jasper's eyes widened as he looked over to Alice in shock.
"Don't worry, Jasper," Alice quickly replied. "They know we need time to prepare. My dad already said they'll give us an extension."
Jasper just stood there in a dazed silence, and from the looks of it, looked like he was about to faint.
"Hey, are you okay?" Edward asked, stepping forward and waving his hand in front of Jasper's face.
"Um… I… I gotta go."
Before any of us could say a word Jasper was running down the hall.
"What's wrong?" Alice asked, staring at us. Tears brimmed her eyes as we watched Jasper turn the corner and disappear from sight. "Was it something I said?"
"No," Emmett said. "You're just missing the wrong parts—Ouch!"
Rose hit Emmett again and then walked over to Alice, wrapping her arm around her shoulder. "You did nothing wrong, Hun. He probably just has first day jitters."
Edward and I watched as Emmett, Rose and Alice made their way into our English class.
"Did you notice that he ran towards the main office?" I asked.
"Yep."
"Are you going to go see if he's okay?"
Edward gave me a quick kiss and nodded. "Yep."
"Good. Keep me posted and I'll take double notes for you."
Edward gave me another quick kiss before walking in the direction of the office.
"God, I hope he's not gay," I whisper to no one before walking into class.
**SOM**
*Gaydar- is slang for 'Gay Radar'. I heard it once from a gay man saying he can sense who's gay or not with his mental Gaydar.
I don't know when I'll update again, but I'm working on it. I also want to put it out there that if there's anyone who wants to adopt this story just contact me. I know many people love this story and I feel bad that my heart just isn't into it as much as it used to be. Also, if this story suddenly disappears it's because I know my story is saved with those LAWL or LAUL group, or whatever they're called. They love removing stories, so you have been warned.
