Title
The hunters stood frozen, stunned to see Beelzebub kill Astaroth with the Colt. He simply stroked the Colt like nothing had happened. He then placed it back in his inside pocket and snapped his fingers, making his little puppets leave the room.
"You shot Astaroth?" Valkyrie asked and Beelzebub smiled as he lifted his eyes up to meet her gaze.
"You killed all the others. If I'm to have world domination, might as well kill the lazy bastard and get him out of the spot light." Beelzebub said, speaking like a true demon of Pride.
At that moment, Sariel decided to take a strike, but Beelzebub casually caught his punch and threw one of his own to one of Sariel's wounds, rendering him incapacitated for the moment. He glanced down at the Archangel with a smug grin and pulled a handkerchief from his breast pocket to wipe the blood off his fist.
"Beaten up by my slaves like a wimpy kid… Where's your angelic power?" Beelzebub asked, looking at Sariel like he was an injured animal, uncertain whether it had the chance to survive or if it would soon die. "I'd really hate to kill you without some fight." Beelzebub said, pulling out the Colt again.
The hunters divided and attacked. Beelzebub sent Sam and Adam back, but Dean and Valkyrie continued to advance, knives drawn. They didn't think they could kill Beelzebub on the first try, but if they could at least buy Sariel some time or get Pride to drop the Colt, then mission accomplished.
Beelzebub gave Dean a punch and then sent him hard against the wall, but grabbed Valkyrie by the throat. She gave a good kick to the groin followed by knocking his arm down with hers, which caught the demon off guard long enough for her to stab him quickly in the neck with her knife.
When he released her, stumbling back, he laughed as if this was just too fun for him. Valkyrie tried to advance to search for the Colt, but Beelzebub had enough and waved his hand, sending her hard against the wall next to Dean.
Sam and Adam had gotten back up, tried to attack Beelzebub, now with a fresh wound, but the demon wasn't weakened yet. He sent them back and kept them pinned to the floor, as if getting annoyed. In that time, Dean and Valkyrie were back on their feet, determined to keep Beelzebub distracted in hopes that Sariel can get enough strength to kill the Prince of Hell.
The demon anticipated their attack, but as he met Valkyrie's eyes, he seemed to enjoy it. He wanted to fight them as if they were the only worthy opponents although they weren't strong enough to take him down. That gave Valkyrie a strange thought; what if they were strong enough? Being tossed around like ragdolls made them think they were inferior, but the fact that he was interested revealed they had some potential to defeat him.
Or so Valkyrie hoped.
Beelzebub blocked their attacks and with his demonic power, brought them down to their knees. The pain was excruciatingly spreading through their chest. Valkyrie glanced at Dean and they stared at each other, as if thinking this might be their last time together.
"I like you two, but not enough to let you stand in my way. Not that you do. You're more like the cockroaches that crawl onto my path and that I have to step on… just because I can." Beelzebub said, looking at them like he was untouchable and they were foolish to think that they stood a chance. "There's no defeating me; I'm the Prince of Hell. When I'm done with this world, it won't be like anything you've ever seen. Not even Hell." He added and stood firmly, clearly proud of himself for some stupid reason. He just liked to hear himself talk. He thought so highly of himself.
"Like you're face" Valkyrie struggled to say through her clenched teeth, but she fought against the pain inflicted by Beelzebub to enjoy this great moment.
Sariel had enough time to gather his strength, having apparently been forgotten by Pride. He was badly wounded, but he was still strong enough to fight the last Prince of Hell. He wasn't beaten yet.
Beelzebub frowned at Valkyrie's statement, but he didn't have long to ponder what she meant. Sariel raised his hand and something began to glow. It soon grew into a long shape and when the light faded, he had a long silver sword etched with sigils that glowed. When Beelzebub began to turn, his hand ready to inflict pain on Sariel, the Archangel drove that sword so quickly through Beelzebub; the Prince had become an instant shish kabob with the wall. The sword had pierced the wall so well that Pride couldn't wiggle against the sword protruding through his abdomen.
Beelzebub looked up at Sariel with a grin, but it soon vanished when the Archangel removed the Colt from within his jacket and placed it within his own jacket. The hunters were now free from Pride's power and watched, shortly being joined by Sam and Adam. The expression in their eyes revealed satisfaction that the last Prince of Hell would be destroyed.
"Like this sword can stop me." Beelzebub said, not letting his pride falter, but looking down at the glowing sigils, he knew this weapon rendered him powerless.
"This sword, Beelzebub, is forged with the heavenly virtues. Those sigils? A spell that unleashes the heavenly virtues, sigils carved into the sword to fight against the deadly sins, you filth." Sariel said with authority, glaring at Beelzebub.
"And that will do what?" Beelzebub asked, pushing against the hilt of the sword, but it was no use. The more he struggled, the more the sigils seemed to glow. Now, the veins of his vessel became visible as if he was rapidly being poisoned by the sword.
"Chasity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness and humility will always chase away the darkness of sins. You, Beelzebub, will know humility, as it is the bane of your existence. Humility will cure you and thus vanquish you." Sariel said, sharpening the expression in his eyes as well as his authoritative tone of voice. The sigils on the sword glowed and Beelzebub's eyes began to turn white, his veins bulging out like something was spreading throughout his body, killing him. A dose of humility.
Beelzebub quickly turned into a sickly old corpse that went limp, all life draining from his body. His dark essence was destroyed by the virtue of humility and when Sariel pulled the sword out of his body, it disintegrated into dust and fell to the floor.
The hunters watched, realizing that the Princes of Hell were now all gone and they turned their gaze to the Archangel that killed the last of the deadly sins. However, the fact that Sariel had the Colt worried them. Would he keep it from them, fearing that they might use it on him? If he seriously thought that, then he was ridiculously wrong. Unless he tried to kill Valkyrie, then maybe he would bite one of the Colt's bullets.
Sariel stared at the sword as it vanished just as mysteriously as it had appeared and turned his eyes to the hunters. He didn't seem very thrilled with all the blood on his face, but he seemed a little relieved that the Princes of Hell were destroyed. He continued to stare at them, but eventually pulled the Colt out of his jacket, tossing it at Valkyrie, which was quite surprising.
She caught the weapon and met his gaze. He definitely didn't like the fact Death was pushed into Lucifer's cage just to keep her safe, but it seemed he wouldn't do anything to rectify that incident.
Sariel vanished without a word, only the echo of his wings flapping. Valkyrie glanced down at the Colt and handed it to Dean.
"He killed one Prince of Hell and he acts like he did everything." she said and Dean grunted in agreement. They stood in place a few seconds longer, but turned and left. Unfortunately, they had to go through the corridor of mirrors again.
"I can't wait to get out of this place." Dean said, his brothers agreeing with him as they felt the mirrors once again to find their way out. Valkyrie was just glad that it was all over. Sam and Adam continued to feel their way out while Dean followed, taking Valkyrie's hand into his. She looked up into his green eyes and smiled.
"What should we do once we get out of here?" she asked and as if the question was open to everyone, she got more answers than she wanted.
"Sleep for a week." Sam replied.
"Eat pizza and watch television as much as I want. Screw sloth and gluttony, I'm exhausted." Adam added. Valkyrie grinned and closed the gap between her and Dean, wrapping her free arm around his, resting her head against his shoulder.
"Just a reminder that you owe me." Dean said softly to her so his brothers wouldn't hear. She smiled and tightened her grip on his arm.
"I'm looking forward to that." She replied and her smile widened as they finally got out of the hall of mirrors. It wouldn't take long to get out of the labyrinth of sin, now that the people show be out of whatever daze kept them enchanted.
As soon as they made it outside, they took a moment to soak up the sunlight of a victorious day. Another threat was destroyed and they could breathe a little easier now. They were safe and, most importantly to Dean and equally to his brothers, Valkyrie was safe.
Now they had to go back, get Castiel out of Crowley's contraptions, and then they could rest before jumping back into the family business of saving people and hunting things.
