...
Listen to the tide slowly turning
Wash all our heartaches away
We're part of the fire that is burning
And from the ashes we can build another day
But I'm frightened for the children
That the live that we are living is in vain
And the sunshine we've been waiting for
Will turn to rain
When the final line is over
It's certain that the curtain's gonna fall
I can hide inside your sweet, sweet love
For ever more
"Usagi!" The sword clattered onto the ground and Luna ran in fear to where Sailor Moon had collapsed forward onto the ground. As she reached a few feet away from her though she could see Sailor Moon supporting her weight with her arms as she remained beside Endymion. "Sailor Moon! Usagi!" Above them Beryl let out a scream of both surprise and anger.
"What have you done?!" She yelled supporting herself against the balcony's railing at the top of the steps. The Queen's mind was spinning and she was completely unable to comprehend what had just happened in front of her. Luna's fearful, blue eyes watched as Sailor Moon continued to stare downwards, but her hair was blocking Luna's view of her face. Sailor Moon's fingers coiled around the hilt of the sword and her arms quivered and she continue to breath in hard.
"I promised..." Her broken voice finally said, and Luna sat up in surprise.
"Huh? She asked unsure of what Sailor Moon meant.
"What did I promise? " Sailor Moon asked, not really to Luna but to herself. "I couldn't fulfill my promise to Naru-chan and the others: to keep fighting..." She still remained with her head downward and out of Luna's view, and her voice was quivering with every word. "But..." Her voice grew softer. "Something else stopped me..." Sailor Moon's fists tightened slightly as her body continued to shake. "Chibiusa..." Sailor Moon's voice was too high as she pushed back tears. Luna's mouth opened in surprise, and Sailor Moon finally lifted her head. Her blue eyes met Luna's and were completely filled with tears. "Who is Chibiusa?" Sailor Moon demanded. "Why can I just put an end to this misery?!" She begged harshly. "I just want it all to end..." Sailor Moon cried. "Why won't she let me?!" Sailor Moon yelled out dropping her head again. Luna's eyes saddened even more. "Why does she haunt me... Stopping me from giving up when even the others cannot?" Sailor Moon asked with a broken voice. "Why can't I just abandon this life?" Sailor Moon asked with her voice pitching upwards. "What else is there for me to keep fighting for?!" Luna's shoulders slumped and she watched Sailor Moon in regret as she continued to cry.
"Pluto was wrong..." Luna said watching Sailor Moon cry. "We were both wrong." She took a step forward and sat directly across from Sailor Moon who was looking back up at her. "You have to have your memories... You need to know what we have lost." Luna's crescent moon crystal shimmered on forehead and her eyes closed. "I'm sorry, Usagi-chan... You need to see it despite the pain." She said. "What we have loved..." The light from the crescent moon hit Sailor Moon's forehead and her tiara began to fade away and her own crescent moon began to burn brightly on her forehead. Sailor Moon's eyes widened at first and a gasp of surprise came from her as Luna's power flowed through her.
"Luna!" Sailor Moon heard her own voice call out cheerfully, and then after a moment her eyes began to drift closed as a tear dripped down her face. So many memories... of her and Luna. But they were not her own. They were Luna's own memories of the future; a future that had happened, but also not at all. Suddenly Luna's memories stop and Usagi's eyes opened in surprise as her forehead continued to glow on its own now, and her own memories were unlocking in her mind.
"No..." She made out weakly as the memories came, one after the other, and they hurt... Chibiusa, Diana, Crystal Tokyo, Death Phantom... They were no longer just stories that feel familiar. "No!" She screamed with her eyes closing again as she tried to block out the vision of her world collapsing and her loved ones being ripped from her fingers. "Small Lady!" She cried covering her ears quickly as she heard Chibiusa's shouts to her and Mamoru. Finally she found herself back in the single memory and she fell to her hands again as she cried.
"Chibi Chibi... I won't give up." She had said back then, in that time when she had been all alone in front of The Galaxy Cauldron: the place where stars were born. "I will make a future for my friends." Then she was back within The Cauldron, and they were with her. They were all together again, as one... "No matter how hard, I want to live this life." That was what she had said to them all. What she had hoped to do, had promised. Sailor Moon's tears were slowing and her eyes remained wide as she slowly began to regain the ability to breathe. "Until the day we finish our duty... do you think we can protect this planet together?" She had asked Mamo-chan that at their wedding, and each had sworn it with all of their being; their first vow. Sailor Moon's finger's grip lightened and her palms spread out against the cold floor of the ballroom.
"Are you alright?" Luna asked in fear. Sailor Moon remained there for a moment trying to catch her breath, and her eyes were wide, but there were no more tears like Luna would have suspected.
"Yes." Sailor Moon said softly. Her head lifted, and Luna found herself holding breath as Sailor Moon looked directly at her. "I remember... everything." Sailor Moon told her, and her eyes transformed into the same determined, hardened gaze the others had worn making their way into the mansion. "I remember you, Chibiusa, Diana, everything..." Sailor Moon declared, but it hurt... It was all gone.
"You have to fix this." Luna told her. "You're the only one who can." Sailor Moon nodded. She would save it! Everything! Sailor Moon gasped suddenly as she remembered something else, and returned completely to the present. Sailor Moon turned back quickly to Endymion.
"No!" She screamed realizing what she had just done, and she leaned over him as she grabbed hold of his vest, and peered at his face in fear. If he was dead then everything she had just remembered was for nothing! "Mamo-chan!" She cried. He moaned, and Sailor Moon's eyes widen in surprise as she let out a sharp breath. Her hand went to the area where his vest was torn and she could feel something hard underneath. She reached underneath frantically and her gloved hand pull out a pocket watch. "The watch..." Sailor Moon said softly with her muscles relaxing and her eyes returning to a soft, sentimental appearance. She remembered it now... Their fountain, their love in the past... It was their place. The place she had promised to give this watch back to him, the watch that had in turned saved her life when she had gone to kill herself... back then. She gasped again as she stared at the watch. She touched the broken glass gratefully. It had stopped the sword for him this time, when last time... The Shitennou had... Another soft moan escaped his lips, and Sailor Moon returned her attention back to him. "Mamo-chan? Endymion?" She whispered loudly pressing against him in hopes he would awaken. Above them Beryl watched with her anger flaring and her orb glowing brightly as she refused to believe what she was watching unfold before her. Endymion's eyes opened: his deep, ocean eyes. Sailor Moon stared down at him in hopeful anticipation.
"Usako..." He moaned, and Sailor Moon's tears returned.
"Mamo-chan!" She cried as she collapsed on top of him and buried her face in his chest. His hands lifted up and touched her cheeks gently. Sailor Moon lifted her fead and looked into his eyes once more.
"Sailor Moon, Serenity..." His hands continued to caress her face, and Sailor Moon let out a sobbed laugh as she smiled at him. "I'm sorry. I broke our promise..." He whispered staring into her beautiful eyes, but the tears caused him to feel a sharp pain. He only wanted to stop those tears. He didn't deserve her... "I left you all alone..."
"Mamo-chan..." Sailor Moon whispered still smiling and her sobs were disappearing. She lifted her hand upwards and kept his hand pressed against her cheek.
"Its alright." She said softly. He remembered as well. He remembered their future! Their wedding promise! "I already told you..." He watched her as she closed her eyes and tilted her head harder against his hand. "I would die a thousand times just to live one more day with you..." His head lifted off of the ground and he pulled her into a kiss. Their powers mingled together, and The Golden Crystal flared in his chest as relief washed over him as he realized the same thing she had; they remembered. The Silver Crystal responded and shone brightly from within her brooch as power proved to be created inside both of them. Their Crystals were remembering what their minds now could.
"Endymion-sama!" Beryl shouted fiercely. The two lover's separated from their kiss but remained staring at each other softly. It only served to antagonize Beryl even more and her power began to swirl through room. She had finally regained her self composure, and her anger had taken full control of her as her eyes were glowing purple. "Damn you Moon Princess! Damn you!" She growled. Sailor Moon was now off of Endymion as he sat up, and both were glaring up at her, and their own powers were surging through them. Luna stood in front of them looking up at Beryl. "I finally had him... You will not take this victory away from me!" She declared. "You will know my every pain!" She screamed lifting the orbed staff above her. "Only I will have Endymion-sama!" She continued. "I will be Queen of The Earth! One way or another! I will be Queen!" She raged. "Its been promised to me!" Endymion stood up with Sailor Moon close to his chest, and her hands in his as her hair whipped wildly behind her in Beryl's wind; both set of eyes strong and determined. Luna turned back to them, bowing forward.
"King Endymion, Neo Queen Serenity..." She cried.
"Luna..." Sailor Moon responded. "Arigato, Luna." Sailor Moon's grip on Endymion's hands tightened. "I will not let your work become undone!" She told her. "I will not let those we love be lost..." Sailor Moon's eyes saddened again. "Chibiusa... Diana..." Luna looked back up at them. Endymion's arm wrapped around Sailor Moon as he stared up at Beryl.
"You will not get away with what you have done. We will restore that future together." He told her. Sailor Moon followed his gaze.
"Yes." Sailor Moon said. "We will make it... together." Her brooch opened now, and the circular Silver Crystal was pulsing with light. Beryl was laughing outright having grown almost hysterical.
"He has already shown me what has become of your future!" Beryl declared. "It is now my turn to create a future for myself!" She stared directly at Endymion "With Endymion-sama by my side, I will be Queen of this blue star!"
"You are being used." Sailor Moon told her in a low voice. "Death Phantom is a creature that goes against his word. He can never be trusted..." Beryl continued to stand not believing her. Endymion looked at Sailor Moon in surprise at hearing Death Phantom mentioned, but he turned back to face Beryl.
"In a thousand years," Endymion asked, "where will you be?" Beryl's eyes flashed in anger.
"I will rule this planet for thousands of years to come. I will be Queen!" She yelled.
"You are being decieved." Sailor Moon told her. "The future is darkened, and the planet dead. He will betray you like he has done to everyone else!" Beryl's eyes continued to glow violently as her power increased, and she was boiling with anger.
"Liar... You are trying to trick me." She growled. Sailor Moon's hand touched The Silver Crystal and she closed her eyes.
"Believe me or not... I will not allow that future to be permanent. I will stop you here and now." She said, and then her hands moved out in front of her. Her eyes opened and at the same time she turned her palms upwards revealing The Holy Cup. It was glowing brightly with the power of The Silver Crystal and it was transforming before their eyes into the cup they had known in later years; taller and more open. "There will be a future for us. I will make sure of it!" Sailor Moon declared loudly and Luna took a step back away from the couple and Artemis joined her. Endymion pressed his hands against his heart and The Golden Crystal manifested in front of him before opening into its lotus form. "Everyone..." The Holy Grail's light was now blinding, but Sailor Moon remained staring over its rim towards Beryl. "Give me your power!" She begged closing her eyes, and she could feel their powers surging into her. "Moon Eternal!" She shouted as The Holy Cup filled. "Make Up!" The power surged into her, but then after a quick moment the power halted all together, and Super Sailor Moon's eyes opened in fear and with a sharp, panicked gasp. The transformation was not activating. Sailor Moon looked back up at Beryl fearfully. Not everyones powers coming to her.
"What?" Endymion asked in disbelief beside her, and Sailor Moon felt the colour and life draining from her face. Beryl was laughing hard above them, and The Holy Grail's light dimmed completely.
"Not what you expected I take it..." Beryl mused above them, and Sailor Moon's breathing ceased.
"What have you done to the others?!" Endymion demanded in anger. Beryl smiled devilishly.
"Would you like to see for yourselves?" She asked, and her orb glowed faintly. "I didn't even have to lift a finger before one of them decided to give up her own life. Such foolishness." Beryl said in mock sadness. The orb's light pulsed and a dark silhouette appeared behind her floating in the air. The light behind Beryl expanded to include the figure and Sailor Moon let out a sharp breath as Hotaru's limp body came into full view and her head fell completely back.
"Hotaru-chan!" Sailor Moon screamed stepping forward, but Endymion stopped her. "Hotaru!" Sailor Moon cried with tears again in her eyes. The girl didn't move and Sailor Moon's hand pressed over her heart. "No..." Beryl was amused by the Princess' pain.
"And then her sacrifice proved to be useless. How foolish she was to think she could stop the Night's power over them." She shook her head again in mock sadness, and she lifted the orb to the side and the light increased to include the entire balcony. Sailor Moon gasped back her cries and she felt Endymion's hands on her shoulders; it was the only thing keeping her standing.
"Everyone..." She barely made out through her broken voice. Their bodies floated behind Beryl lifelessly with their heads limp and their arms fallen to their side. Beside Sailor Saturn and Pluto floated their weapons, and beside Sailor Venus The Holy Sword floated useless to its owner. "Iie..." Sailor Moon made out and Endymion's muscles tensed as her gritted his teeth in anger. The shimmer of light off of The Garnet Orb reflected in Sailor Moon's wide, teary eyes and her lips trembled as she threatened to break into more sobs. Beryl's white teeth appeared as her lips parted in a wide smile.
"Would you like to see the rest of my collection?" She asked. Sailor Moon couldn't take her gaze off of her friends, but Beryl's orb flashed with light and another set of Senshi appeared amongst the others and a searing pain ripped through Sailor Moon, and behind her Luna gasped.
"Mars..." The dark-haired Senshi floated lifelessly and to Sailor Moon's surprise behind her floated The Sailor Quartet, and even Phobos and Deimos; reverted back to crow form. "It can't be..."
"No." Endymion said beside her. The young girls did not move either and the crows' feathers appeared ruffled. Sailor Moon's hands moved the her brooch as she watched them all, and she could feel their powers pulsing through her, but not enough. Not yet enough to complete the Eternal Transformation. And at that moment she didn't even know if she would be able to keep it as her heart broke into pieces.
"Everyone..." Sailor Moon fell to her knees and Endymion followed after her trying to catch her. He placed his hands on her shoulders and watched her face carefully, but she only kept her eyes on the group in front of her as Beryl stood amongst them. Endymion followed her gaze again and they stood there a moment trying to gather their courage as Beryl continued to toy with Sailor Moon's emotions. Sailor Moon's cheeks were stained with tears and she could only speak with a broken voice. "Everyone..."
Beryl's laughter echoed through out the entire ballroom as Sailor Moon remained on her knees and Endymion remained holding onto her shoulders as he tried to bring Sailor Moon out of it.
"Everyone..." Sailor Moon said distantly and Endymion shook her.
"Usagi!" Sailor Moon shook her head.
"No..." Sailor Moon breathed. Beryl's orb stopped glowing as she returned to her harsh smile and her laughter ceased. All around her the Senshi fell to the ground and she glanced over the defeated group. Finally she stepped to her right and looked over Sailor Venus' limp form.
"So helpless, and unable to finally fulfill her mission." Beryl commented in fake pity. She continued to smile and laughed softly before kicking the woman in the gut and her body rolled carelessly closer to the edge of the staircase, and The Holy Sword lay helplessly at the tips of her fingers; unable to complete its duty as well.
"Queen Berly-sama..." A deep voice spoke and Beryl turned slightly as four lights shimmered and The Shitennou appeared before her; each transformed now including Kunzite and even Zoisite.
"Kunzite!" Endymion shouted up at the group in anger. Beryl glanced back over her shoulder at Endymion as she smiled.
"My generals..." She gloated turning back towards Endymion and Sailor Moon. The four of them stood behind her. "Sworn to me for all of eternity." Beryl continued vainly. Endymion's body tensed, and Sailor Moon had broken enough out of her shock to lift her hand up and grab hold of his as it lay on her shoulder. They could both remember the past vividly... and the future they had once known.
"They made a contract with your "Great Leader"." Endymion corrected darkly. "And I don't believe I see her here anymore..." Endymion commented, but Beryl remained smiling.
"It doesn't matter. The contract still stands." She countered. "They are sworn to me."
"Actually..." Zoisite spoke behind her. "I believe the that contract was absolved when you killed Endymion-sama. " Their swords appeared in their hands, and Beryl turned in surprise to face them.
"Stand down!" She ordered sternly. Jedeite's eyes were hard and blazing with fire.
"We are no longer yours to command." Kunzite told her. Beryl gasped. "We remember. Not everything, but enough." They each attacked her with their swords and magic simultaneously, and a light blinded each of those watching from above. Once it had faded Sailor Moon gasped to see Beryl standing with her orb glowing constantly, and the four generals on the ground as pain filled their bodies.
"Fools!" Beryl shouted angrily, and her power exploded from The Orb, the four men on the ground attempted to suppress the groans of pain, but it was tearing their bodies apart from the inside.
"Beryl!" Endymion shouted up at her, and his own power began to manifest in his hands, and he projected it towards her in an attempt to strike her. She turned back towards him, and The Orb collected the attack's energy. Endymion began to rush forward, but Sailor Moon held him back. Beryl would strike any of them down now as her power raged all around her uncontrollably as the power began to wear on her.
"I've had enough of this!" Beryl shouted. "Die!" The Shitennou were filled with her attack again, and finally each slumped down completely to the floor not moving even as the attack continued.
"Beryl!" Sailor Moon and Endymion shouted, and both rushed towards the bottom of the steps preparing to attack. The Queen turned back to them, and her power and anger were aimed directly at Sailor Moon's brooch.
"Just die!" She ordered and her attack rushed towards Sailor Moon at the bottom of the steps.
"Sailor Moon!" Luna and Artemis screamed, and Sailor Moon remained wide-eyed as her hand lifted to grab hold of The Silver Crystal to protect herself, but the attack was already upon her. Endymion's hands returned to Sailor Moon's shoulders and she felt herself through backwards off of the steps and down onto the ground as he stood over her. The attack struck him at full force and his head fell back as he collapsed at the bottom of the steps beside Sailor Moon.
"Mamo-chan!" She immediately crawled over to him and grabbed hold of his charred vest. "Mamo-chan!" Beryl stood at the top of the steps holding the orbbed staff with both hands as she supported herself.
"Endymion-sama..." She tightened her grip on the staff and she forced herself to harden in her anger. "Why? Why do you have to protect her?! Why can't you just love me?" She demanded in a loud scream. Sailor Moon held him close against her chest.
"Mamo-chan..." She cried putting her forehead against his. Endymion's eyes opened slowly.
"Usako..." She let out a sob and she touched his face gently as his power continued to fade.
"Don't leave me again!" She begged. "Please! I need you. We have to make it together..." She cried. Endymion lifted his hand to her face now and she grabbed hold of it like a lifeline. "Mamo-chan!"
"Sailor Moon, we will give you our power. No matter what..." He told her in a weakening voice. "As long as you are alive, we will give you our strength." Sailor Moon let out another sob, and his eyes began to close. "No matter what future, I believe in you... Sailor Moon..."
"Mamo-chan..." His breathing stopped, and his head slumped forward onto her chest. Sailor Moon froze and she sat there staring at his face in shock as his hand slid from her face and she remained with her hand in the air near her cheek where his hand used to be. "Mamo-chan!" She screamed closing her eyes, and tears dropped from her eyelashes as she did so.
"Enough!" Beryl shouted down at her. Sailor Moon looked back up at her as she continued to cry. Beryl's face had formed a vacant mask. "If I cannot have him... then no one will." She repeated her mantra from long ago, and her entire being hardened. Sailor Moon lowered Endymion's body, and turned to face her.
"Please! Just stop this!" Sailor Moon begged standing up and clasping her hands together. "Please! You cannot want this! You cannot want the one you love to be dead! The Earth destroyed!" She continued. Beryl's chin lifted higher and her eyes flashed in anger.
"I will be Queen." She told her. "This planet is mine. I am fine with Endymion's loss, as long as he is no longer yours as well!" Sailor Moon's knees weakened and her arms shook with sorrow. She and Beryl were complete opposites. Serenity would have died then to be without him, but would have bared it if he had been happy, but Beryl... Beryl had killed him when he had refused to be hers. "I will be Queen! It's already been promised!
"But Death Phantom won't keep his promises! He'll kill you!" Sailor Moon shouted upwards. Beryl was smiling now.
"Then I'll kill him first." She said with her plan forming in her mind. "I will find him, and destroy him." She said and then she pointed The Orb towards Sailor Moon. "Just like I'm going to destroy you!" She said stepping forward. "I will bring the darkness into this world and make it my own..." Sailor Moon remained standing with tears streaming down face, and she forced her knees to strength under her.
"Then I will defeat you." She said vacantly. "I will protect Mamo-chan's Earth. My home." She continued placing her hand back on The Silver Crystal. Beryl laughed at her declaration.
"What can you do, Moon Princess?" She asks taking a step past Sailor Venus' body, and kicked her again for good measure to remind The Moon Princess just how hard the others had tried the same thing and had failed. "You will never be able to defeat me. It is determined." Beryl said. "No matter how many times we will be reborn, I will destroy your world." Beryl promised with a wide smile as she began to take a step down the stairs, and she laughed again as she stood on the steps raising her head high and her eyes glowing brightly as power filled her. "You will never be the one to kill me!" She boasted. She laughed tilting her head back, but then her laughter was cut short and the wind was knocked out of her as pain filled her chest without any form of warning. Her head fell forward as she wheezed in search of air, and the glint of red blood greeted her now normal eyes as it dripped off of a sword's blade that stuck up through her chest. It had come without any sort of warning, and she stared at it in a panicked disbelief. She tried to gasp for breath again, but her lungs were filling with liquid.
"That's right," A voice said in her ear from the top of the stairs, "because it will always be me..." The sword twisted slightly in Beryl's chest as Venus' power surged through it. "Rolling..." Venus whispered with a struggle. "Heart Vibrations!" She screamed with one final push of strength, and the power spiraled around The Holy Sword and ripped through Beryl's chest like a corkscrew. She pulled The Holy Sword out of her, and Beryl fell forward as her body crumbled into a pile of ash starting from her chest outwards. The staff fell down the steps, and The Orb separated from the top, and rolled out to the center of the middle step that extended farther then the rest of the steps; like a platform.
"Venus..." Sailor Moon said in surprise, and The Holy Sword clattered down the steps as Venus dropped again at the top of the steps. "Venus!" Venus' eyes were fluttering closed.
"Usagi-chan..." Venus' voice was soft and weak, as her breathing remained staggered. Her last strength was now completely used up. Sailor Moon moved up a step desperately.
"No! Venus!" Venus' eyes closed, and The Holy Sword finally vanished in a flash of light as she released it from its duty, and offered last of her power that she had been keeping to herself to Super Sailor Moon. "Venus!" Her head fell completely to the side with a soft smile as Venus breathed out. She was dead... this time there was no mistaking it. "Venus!" Sailor Moon collapsed onto her knees as she remained on the steps. "Everyone!" She screamed again with her eyes closing tightly with hot tears. Her eyes opened again with a staggered gasp as she continued to try regain her composure. Their power and energy were flowing through her at an amazing speed.
"Usagi-chan..." Luna whispered as she walked closer to her, and Artemis remained staring at Venus' limp, and pale body.
"Luna..." Super Sailor Moon stood slowly, and her knees threatened to buckle again under her weight. She forced herself to stand completely and she turned to face Luna with a weary appearance. The night had moved so quickly, and the world had unraveled before them entirely. "I can't..." She said softly. "I can't give up." Sailor Moon continued. "Not after everyone had given me their power... I will not let their future be destroyed! Our future!" Sailor Moon shouted suddenly bringing her fist to her chest as she declared it. "This is not the end!" She gripped The Silver Crystal and looked upwards towards the darkened ceiling. "Luna..." Sailor Moon spoke sternly. "I want you and Artemis to go somewhere safe." She ordered. Luna and Artemis stood together and Artemis shook his head.
"We are not leaving you! We are going to stay to the very end!" Artemis shouted, but Luna remained silent next to him.
"Artemis... Luna... Please." Sailor Mon begged this time, and Luna looked her over. She had finally reached the very bottom. Nothing more could be taken from Sailor Moon except them. She couldn't let her feel any more pain.
"Artemis... we will go to the door. At least." Luna said finally and he stared at her in surprise. Sailor Moon smiled sadly as tears continued to glisten in the back of her eyes. The pain in Luna's heart was heavy and she felt her own tears forming as she realized there was nothing more she could do for Sailor Moon. "I believe in you..." Luna told her again, and Sailor Moon continued to smile even if it were only for Luna's sake.
"I now... Arigato." Luna took a step back and Artemis followed her slowly. Sailor Moon waited a few minutes before Luna and Artemis both stood in the doorway of the ballroom, and then she looked upwards once more with determination and strength as the other's powers filled her. "Moon Eternal!" She lifted her hands out in front of her as she stood towards the bottom of the steps. Endymion remained in front of her and behind her at the top of the steps the others lay completely still and lifeless, but their powers continued to surge through her as she begged of it, and it was as if a spot light were shining on her from the top of the ceiling as she flipped her hands upwards and The Holy Cup filled the entire room with light. "Make Up!" From within the light Sailor Moon's silhouette appeared and her hands were spread outward as two large angel wings formed behind her and her eyes opened as the crescent moon revealed itself on her forehead.
Luna watched Sailor Moon intently and she felt hope still remaining somewhere in her heart. There was one thing she knew about Sailor Moon, and it was the downfall of every enemy they had ever faced. You could drag Sailor Moon down, and you could beat her and take everything she had ever loved from her, you could take her to her lowest of lows, but that was always how you failed. Because, Luna knew, Sailor Moon had to hit the bottom before she could soar up to the top. Once there was no one else left to fight... Sailor Moon could no longer fail. She was, and forever would be, invincible...
The light vanished and Sailor Moon's eyes meet Luna's and the cat nodded shortly. Eternal Sailor Moon held out The Spiral Heart Moon Rod to the side and a new surge of power came from The Silver Moon Crystal as it granted her the power she desired. The Rod glowed with a pink light and the staff extended downward before the top itself erupted with light and it blossomed into what looked like a rose before a golden flash finished its transformation into The Eternal Tier. She held it in both hands and placed the bottom of the staff at the base of her feet. "I will not let the dark souls cast this world into darkness!" Eternal Sailor Moon declared, and she looked upward. "Death Phantom!" She yelled. "I will put an end to this right here! Once and for all!" She stood still as the darkness and silence continued. "Where are you?" She asked. "Reveal yourself!" She ordered to the sky.
The entire mansion shook in reply and Eternal Sailor Moon waited for him to make his appearance. A dark energy exploded behind her and the staircase shook and she barely kept her balance. She regained her composure and she turned with her eyes hardened and the wings spreading out behind her as The Orb glowed with dark energy as a pink mist grew up from out of it. Sailor Moon turned completely to face him as his dark laughter erupted from within The Orb and the floor began to crumble bellow her. Sailor Moon lifted herself into the air and she remained floating in place as from The Orb a black surge of energy shot upwards and broke through the roof of the mansion and into the night sky. Sailor Moon floated backwards a few feet in order to remain clear of the dark energy and Death Phantom's long cloak spread out across the sky as his red eyes shimmered brightly in the sky. Sailor Moon stared up at him with a bit of surprise as he continued to grow and her heartbeat quickened. He was so much larger than last time... He had done nothing but grow... Sailor Moon spun the scepter beside her and then held it out in front of her with the top shinning brightly as she concentrated her power.
"As you wish, Neo Queen Serenity..."His voice boomed through the sky and Sailor Moon's eyebrows furrowed as she continued to gather her power together. "I will crush you and put you out of your miserable existence!" His voice mocked her with the same gravel-like quality she remembered.
"You will pay for what you have done!" She called out to him, and his laughter vibrated all around her. "I have defeated you before I will do it again!" She called upwards, and she remained flying in place; tiny compared to him. The Silver Moon Crystal's light shone from the top of the scepter and she held it out in front of her. "Silver Moon Crystal Power!" She shouted and the light shone all around her and rushed forward into the dark energy Death Phantom was giving off. He lifted his own dark orb in front of him and the two powers clashed in the sky. His power broke through hers and Sailor Moon let out a scream as it sent her flying backwards through the air. Her wings spread out behind her and slowed her slide, and she shifted her body forward before soaring towards him. "I won't loose... I won't let it all disappear..." She furrowed her eyebrows again and she plunged through the dark energy and towards Death Phantom with The Scepter held out in front of her and her power filling her along with her friend's. "I surely won't!" She was consumed in dark energy and everything around her began to spiral around them like a vortex and it began to rip through the city and Sailor Moon fell through the vortex as she watched Death Phantom intently. "I surely won't!" She shouted with her Crescent Moon shining brightly on her forehead. "Silver Moon Crystal Power!" She screamed and Death Phantom's laughter surrounded her as she plunged through the sky downward. "Therapy Kiss!"
