When the Master finds Rose and her Doctor in the parallel world he wants to take everything he can from the half Doctor. Including the TARDIS the real Doctor gave them to grow, and Rose. With a little brainwashing soon Rose becomes the Masters companion and forgets completely about the Doctor. But the Master can not seem to find out what BADWOLF is. I own nothing.

37. Chapter 37

MASTER POV

Rose once again tried to sit up but the Master refused to let move. She was right where she belonged, in his arms. Were he could protect and be with her forever. He decided to make small talk just to distract her. So she would stay in his arms.

"How much do you remember?" he asked as he pulled her closer to him.

"Most of it, the last few days is really fuzzy." She said "My last clear memory is…. Oh gosh Jack."

"He did not hurt you, did he" he replied getting slightly excited to play along with his lie."

He felt her shake her head "No, he helped me. He told me you guys used friends. He said that the hold the Doctor had on his mind had momentary faded a little. Just enough to help me a little."

He smiled to himself "Wait, he told you this? That is Jack for you, still full of surprises."

"What happened between you two?" she asked

The Master pretended to let out a sob. "Jack was wonderful. He used to travel with me like you do. Then the Doctor came along. He kidnapped him like he did to you. He told him lies and got Jack to trust him. Then he brainwashed him. I tried to get to him in time but I failed. It was all my fault." He said then pretended to let out another sob.

Rose turned around to face him. "It is not your fault."

"I tried to save him" fake tears were now running down his face. "I did my best to free in his mind. But, Jack he killed me. He caused me to regenerate. I don't blame him; I know that it was not his doing. I had to leave him with the Doctor, I had no choice."

She wiped the tears from his cheeks "But he did brake free."

"Rose, Jack is immortal. It has probably been hundreds of years since he first got brainwashed. It has taken him that long to break free and it was only for a few minutes." He stopped for a second "If the Doctor was able to brainwash you. You could not break free in time. You would grow old and die or the Doctor would get bored of you and kill you himself before you got free. I would lose you forever. I could not handle that"

He could tell by the look on her face that she completely believed him. He had to hold back a grin. Oh what fun this was saying HORROR stories about the Doctor. Another way to make sure that she would stay with him forever.

They continued to talk her another half in hour. Intell he got hungry and wanted food. He got out of bed and picked her up. She burst into laughter. He carried her to kitchen for breakfast.
