Sonia's Dangerous Journey of Life and Death Part 5 out of 5: The Bond of Friendship
A/N: I am now more focus than ever to get this fanfiction back up and running again, and I will need your help to ensure that. From where we last off, Jackie and Sonia used fusion to make a new monster that is going to end this duel right there and now, as they have seem to gotten their groove together. The monster that was fused was Gandroff the Dragon Prince, and Emperor of the Six Samurai Shi-En, and the monster that formed right afterwards.
"Oh yeah, we sure need it, but what I am about to do will help us both out." Jackie said before she continues her turn. "Now I activate the magic card, Polymerization... and I will be fusing both Gandroff the Dragon Prince, and Emperor of the Six Samurai." Sonia shook her head yes to approve her use of her dragon, and then Gandroff the Dragon Prince goes into the air along with the Samurai and fuses to form a new unknown monster, and then a blight light engulfs the area. "AH! This cannot be... AH!" Korina screamed just as she prepares to see the monster formed.
"The light of the friendship of us and our friends, is going to conquer you Korina, once an for all!" Sonia and Jackie yelled together... "I summon… Ultimate Royal Dragon Samurai, Shux-Chi!" Sonia and Jackie yelled out, and then the light then forms and reveals an dragon with samurai sword, and it's gold and light as well.
Attr: Dark Type: Dragon Atk: 3500 Def: 3000 Level: 9
"AH! This cannot be, oh wait… I thought I was scared, but I am laughing, your monster doesn't have enough strength to defeat my monster, that thing is 300 points shy." Korina mocked out as their monster doesn't have enough strength, but then realizes something instantly. "UNLESS?!" she panicked.
"Unless my monster has a special ability that will really surprise you, you see this monster has a very dangerous power, so it only lasts for one turn. But when it leaves the field…. Every single monster on your side of the field, will be destroyed, and not just that, but half the total of all the monsters attack points of your side, is then added up, and dealt to you as damage, and as an added effect, it cancels out any monster, spells, and traps effects that tries to prevent this attack." Sonia stated, and then the monster begins flying into the air and charges its attack.
"NO THIS CANNOT BE, AND ADD TO THAT MY FIELD'S SPELL EFFECT, THAT ME…. I LOSE!"
"NOW GO… ULTIMATE ROYAL DRAGON SAMURAI SHUX-CHI, USED ALL YOUR POWER, AND UNDO THE DAMAGE THAT KORINA HAS CAUSED TO ALL OUR FRIENDS… AND DESTROY DARK ROYAL DRAGON WYVRIN!" Sonia and Jackie yelled out together just as the monster now explodes and dark energy now fills around Dark Royal Dragon Wyvrin, and then suddenly light explodes, destroying the monster, knocking Korina back.

"And like you stated Korina, you are subjected to your own field spell's effect, since you lost your own monster by our hands, you lose 600 life points as well, and since you don't have another 100 points to shell it off, it's over Korina, you lost!" Sonia yelled out.
Suddenly, Korina is somehow electrocuted by dark electricity, and she screams in pain as she fades away… "NO!"
Korina's LP: 0
When the life points hit zero, Korina was gone, and then the entire place started to glow a bright light, and it engulfs both Sonia and Jackie, and then suddenly, they were teleported out of there, along with all of the statues of the friends that tried to help the group.

Principal's Office
Suddenly, we see Sonia, Jackie, and the remainder of the group (now back to normal) are now back in the office where the meeting was being held, and to a surprise, no one was actually killed. It was all an illusion that was made by Korina, but it was sure scary as hell.
"Well, I am glad that's over." Sonia said. "Me too, I wouldn't know how this could have gotten any worst if it wasn't for you to." Ridley added just as he came along and shook hands with Sonia. "I couldn't believe it, but even though I was turned to stone, you kicked a lot of butt Sonia and Jackie."
"Well thanks." Sonia giggled, just as Soya and Chizuru came up and hugged her tight like they are best friends.
"Well, I am glad that this whole thing is over, and now we can move on with the meeting." Thomas said, getting back up and too the meeting. "Well… Principal Thomas, I think I just figured out who I want for the school duel. Sonia!" Ridley said firmly, as he makes his decision. But then the board members then started to react not in a pretty way. "What, this is unbelievable. Your high ranks and grades to pick the student who represent the school duel, and you choose a Slifer, unbelievable!" said by one of the men. "That's enough people, my decision is clear." Thomas stated, and then everyone reacts in shock just as Thomas literally agreed with the decision that Ridley made. "Thomas Getterson, you know putting this Slifer girl in the school duel is going to outrage the student community, and perhaps if we lose, then we have the Slifers to blame for…." The man argued again.
"My decision is final." Thomas yelled angrily at the rebel man. "Leave me and Sonia… please." He said, and then everyone walked out of the room except Sonia, who stated for the talk with Thomas.
"So… you picked me? " Sonia asked him, and he responded. "Yes, I did." Why?" she asked. "Well… there is a very big reason that I picked you, not just because your dueling talents are beyond anything I ever see, but… I choose you as I see a light is unlike any other. Your talent came from your heart, and how you managed to stand up for your friends in many ways, and even take the chance to risk yourself for others, that is something that I find that is worthy of this position. Not to mention you came from a dueling legend known as Sam Stryker, and even have mostly his deck, other than that one card that one of the Obelisk Blue students torn up, so I can see this school being surprised, just like you do. Yes your grades aren't all that great, plus you got a lot to learn, but… I see greatness in you Sonia. No matter whether you win or lose, make this school proud to have recruited you, as… the potential in you is unmatched by many others. I can see you making true to your father's name, or heck, maybe you might make a name for yourself out there." Thomas said in his speech to her, and some very important words spark Sonia's head, especially these.
"I SEE GREATNESS IN YOU SONIA."
"I see. Well… I got to get going, but I will keep that in mine." Sonia smiled and then ran off. "Make this academy proud!" Thomas yelled out in excitement.

In the forest minutes later
"So, you really meant it Jackie?" Sonia asked as just Sonia and Jackie were just having a talk in the forest alone together, assumedly as they need to make it up with each other. "It is, I really felt bad that you really went through all of it, and how we became enemies suddenly, and all, and I was very sad that it happened, and… I am glad that I was able to talk to you after I apologized and made it up to your friends." Jackie said just as they walked to a pond. "Well, I am glad that it's over now." Sonia added.
"Indeed! But say, you know the expectations are the same just like me, but it was great being able to duel you, as I got to know a lot more about you at the same time. How you saw my methods, and how I saw your methods?" Jackie added. "You're right, but still, it's a lot to reflect over after the last few days, and for me it will surely take some time, but… at least I am back to dueling now, that's for sure. And heck, maybe you and I should have a rematch one day, because… at least I got a rival now I can look up to dueling." Sonia smiled just as she and Jackie shook hands.
"You sure are, see ya." Jackie said, just as Sonia gets on her way, but watching the rebonding of friends was Luke, who was smiling that this whole fight was over, but still, had a bit of disappointment in Sonia. "I can tell you are up there Luke, what is it?" Jackie asked just as she knew Luke was watching.
"I am very glad that this whole thing was over, and heck… I cannot believe I am saying this but, you worked with Sonia well. But… she is going to have to face you again one day, and I am surprised that Thomas selected her to be the student representing the school, which to me, that is just a fluke on her part along with you. " Luke said, not amused. "I am sure you will figure something out, and I do feel to disappointed that he picked Sonia without considering her talents, heck, you told me one time that if you were the principal, you would pick me." Jackie snickered. "Of course, as you can show a good example for the school, and before Sonia can represent the school, she needs to face and defeat you. So be ready, and just like the last test, make sure Sonia gets a duel that she will remember ." Luke said just as he walks off into the forest.
"She will be tested, that's for sure." Jackie said just as she walks off as well.

Blue Dorm Office
We see an unknown figure having a good meeting with Sir Edward as the two have witness their plan has failed. "Damn, Korina is now gone and Sonia got her deck back, somehow your magic managed to miss the mark on this one." Edward said, slightly disappointed with the person responsible.
"Oh don't worry dad, that was only the beginning for Sonia, as I am going to make her truly suffer, and with my powers, I will ensure that hell will come to Duel Academy in the worst possible way they can imagine." A female voice said, revealing to be the daughter of Edward, Zoe Forgenstae (will get into her looks soon).

Sonia's Dairy
It was a very rough time for me, but thankfully I got over it and now I am prepared to move on with it. Jackie recently talked to Kari and the group, and they quickly made up for what happened a few weeks back, and now we are in good terms again. But I knew something will still be off about her, as I see her methods. I was surprised that I will be representing this school for the upcoming school duel in just a few weeks, and so were my friends, but I am glad I will be able to take it on. Moon told me that being in a school duel is a huge honor, as winning will show how good you are as a duelist. I am very nervous however, as I don't know who will be doing me in the huge school duel, but whoever it is, I just hope it's a good challenge, as I can use one.
