Hello guys, long time no speak. Sorry it's took so long, but while I'm writing this, I'm also doing one of my other stories, The New Adventures of SuperCat. So if I'm not updating this, then I'm working on another chapter of that story and vise versa.

Anyway, on with the story!

Like always, I apologize in advance for any grammar mistakes, repetitiveness and poor writing. And I also don't own Naruto or it's characters. I'm just using them for the story. And any OCs that you see in this story are mine.

Enjoy!

P.S. I wrote this in 1st person first, so if I left anything, I do apologize again. Also I want to put out that I used the Naruto Wiki for some descriptions so all thanks to that goes to them!

How could she be stupid. So fucking stupid! Now that Tsunade could sense her presence, she should have known this girl was a demon to begin with. But because it was a friend of Yamanaka's, the older blonde had just healed the pinkette blindly. Before she entered her mind to find out the truth, the physical characteristics should have been a sign. Her left, yellow eye that housed three specific tomoe marks was the start, the other was her left arm. Unless this girl, Sakura as her friends call her, was either burnt and had put in a contact lens, or she was getting ready for Halloween, which was still far off, then the warning signs should have been there. And then there's her mind Tsunade thought, already feeling the hairs on the back of her neck, standing on end.

Tsunade's blood slowly began to grow cold when she opened the pink haired girl's left eye, revealing a yellow orb, the iris surrounded by three tomoe marks. Her body was almost freezing when she saw the state of the sleeping girl's left arm, the blackest of reds she had ever seen, like she had been scorched in a great inferno of fire. With her suspicions peaked, the blonde decided to get her answer the only way she could; the girl's mind. Placing two fingers on the pinkette's forehead, the healer closed her eyes and channeled her chakra. Using the Yamanaka's famous, mind transfer technique and once she opened her eyes again, the woman was no longer in Hyūga Hinata's living room.

She was completely surprised to see that she was in fact back in Konohagakure. The darkness and rain was no longer present, and taking over was a bright clear sky, which Tsunade found was abnormal. The sky was completely clear, not cloud in the sea of blue, not a single speck of white fluffiness. Not even the glowing circle of the sun was present. What else the woman found strange that there was no one around, it was completely quiet, dangerously so. Furrowing her brows at the city, Tsunade turned herself around to see if there was anything else that was out of the normal.

Only for her eyes to widen like they have never had before.

Destruction. That was all she saw when the blonde turned her gaze around. It looked like the apocalypse had hit most of the city, buildings that should have stood tall, where now either cut in half, or had crumbled into debris all together. Cars had been tipped over and destroyed entirely beyond recognition. The road underneath her feet, now that she saw, had craters here and there, as if a giant foot had engraved it's presence in the concrete. What the hell is going on? she asked herself. Was she really in the mind of that pink haired girl? Before Tsunade could find out or not, she could here something coming from a distance

She aimed her gaze toward the sky, and there the blonde saw it. Shockwave after shockwave happened here and there in the sky, multiple times, each one getting stronger than the next. There was one more shockwave, before something began to fall in the woman's direction, crashing next to her. The blonde used her arms to shield herself from the incoming loose concrete hitting her body, a dust covered cloud soon following up. Once it settled, Tsunade looked back to see a new crater had joined the others, but this one, unlike the rest, contained a person inside. Slowly getting up, using her weapon, a scythe, as a crutch, the pink haired girl glared at the direction which Tsunade was supposed to believe was where she had been flung from, blood cascading down the side of her face.

Her black, defined robe-like clothes had begun to tear here and there, proving that the fight she was currently locked into was serious and difficult. Soon, however, her gaze landed on the older woman, her heterochromic eyes looking into Tsunade's brown, and they widened in surprise. Suddenly though, the young girl's body twitched, her eyes going even wider, before she jumped out of the crater, lunging herself at the healer. Said woman was about to defend herself, before the pinkette's arms wrapped themselves around Tsunade's waist, her voice saying, "Get down!" and they both crashed onto the floor.

There was an immediate explosion afterwards. Blazing winds hit both their body's as another dust cloud, bigger than the one before, surrounding them in a curtain of grey. Tsunade will never forget the voice that traveled through the smog, it's tone otherworldly, and sinister.

"Now now, Sakura. You know better than to hide from me. After all," said the voice, leaving a pregnant pause hanging in the air. As soon as the voice stopped, something sliced into the air, cutting the dust cloud, wiping it away completely, revealing someone else in this world besides the pinkette and her. "I'm always going to find you!"

Tsunade could have sworn that she had been looking at a mirror of the girl that was on top of her. In every detail, she looked exactly the same; pink hair, the robe-like overcoat on top of a black kimono, a deadly scythe on one shoulder. The only thing that really separated them was her eyes, which were both yellow with the distinct three tomoe markings and the sinister smile that matched her voice. What in the hell is going on?! the blonde wondered. Not once in her time has she ever saw something like this. Sure she's heard about dormant demons lying in wait, only to shed their mortal flesh and go in for the attack, but this was something else entirely, more advanced.

"Oh, I see you made a new friend. How nice."

Tsunade felt a weight lift off of her and she realized that it had been the Haruno girl. She was standing tall, glaring at her doppelganger but the blonde could sense that she was tired. The healer didn't know how long she's been fighting this thing, but Tsunade could feel the girl's chakra starting to wane and the woman knew for no doubt that the person in front of her could feel it too. But in a flash the pinkette continued to push on, appearing in front of the doppelganger, her weapon already in mid-arc, and swung her scythe at her opponent, their weapons locked together. The pink haired girl let out a grunt, while the yellow eyed doppelganger smiled menacingly, and in the next instant, they both escaped from Tsunade's view. Before she could even wonder where they had gone, she felt two pairs of powerful chakras, followed by the sound of more shockwaves, up above her.

Then, one of the buildings nearby suddenly exploded, the tall structure crumbling down like sand. Next thing the blonde knew, black all of a sudden filled her vision, the Haruno girl's other presence standing in front of her. Her yellow demonic orbs bore into brown, and a moment later a devilish smirk graced her lips. Swinging her scythe onto her shoulder, the doppelganger crouched before the older woman, her eyes never leaving her's. And no matter how much Tsunade tried, no matter much she wanted to run from this person before her, the blonde's body refused to move. It was as if she was stuck in a trance. The only thought that occupied in her brain was that this person was dangerous.

"You know," the pinkette began, "as much as I would like play with you, this dance is with Sakura and her alone. I don't like spoilers you see, so unfortunately for me, I'm going to have to kick you out." Saying that, the other Sakura reached out with her hand, holding her middle finger down with her thumb and placed it near Tsunade's forehead. "Until we meet again, Senju Tsunade-chan."

And just like that, she flicked said woman's forehead and with the tap, the healer was in the pinkette's mind no more.

When Tsunade had woke back in the real world, she felt a shock between her fingers and the girl's forehead and she removed them instantaneously. The older blonde knew from that she was now forbidden to go back in there, but that was the last place she would want to go back to. Ever. Placing her hand back to her side, Tsunade took in a deep breath. Before thinking about her next action, there was something that she needed to know.

"Yamanaka," she called out to the other blonde, brown eyes never leaving the pinkette's body. "Is this girl what I think she is?" Tsunade prayed that what she saw wasn't real, but she would only be deluding herself. The young Demon Hunter confirmed my suspicions however.

"...Yes," she replied silently.

"Is that so." The woman let a moments pause hang in the air, but ultimately that was all she needed to know for what needed to be done. Gathering chakra back into her right hand, blue energy surrounding her appendage, Tsunade quickly lifted it up and made a thrust at the sleeping pinkette, aiming directly for her heart to finish the job in one blow, ignoring the cries coming from behind me in protest. Her fingertips just touched the girl's breast when she stopped mid-movement, feeling the sharp, cold metal of a weapon on her throat, cherry blossom petals fluttering into her field of vision. Turning her gaze, the blonde glared at the light blue eyes of Yamanaka Ino, who in turn was also narrowing her eyes threatening way. "What do you think you're doing, Yamanaka?" the healer growled out the question, irritated that the girl would dare aim her weapon at her, fellow Demon Hunter or not.

"I'm sorry, Tsunade-sama, but I cannot allow you to kill her," she replied, evenly, but Tsunade could sense the slight venom behind the words.

"Why not?" the older of the two questioned, their body's never moving and their glares locked. "You know what she really is. In fact, I'm surprised that you knew of this fact and have yet to kill her."

"I did, once," she said, and Tsunade knew there was truth to those words. "But now she is my friend, and more importantly, she's my final link to my sister. So I'm sorry, Tsunade-sama, but I refuse to end her life, and I won't let you either."

Tsunade couldn't help but let out a breath of frustration. "Do you really think you can stop me?"

"No, I know I won't be able to beat you," she said, a hint of fear running through her blue eyes. But it vanished as soon as it came, determination now coming into the forefront. "But I'm willing to try."

She has guts, I'll give her that Tsunade thought. That was the kind of thing she liked in a person, showing promise. It was just a shame that it was wasted here. Finally braking her gaze, the older woman looked back at the pinkette. She could easily kill this girl right now. All she had to do was disarm the young blonde, the two other girl's wouldn't be a problem either, and end this pink haired girl's life. It was a cowardly way of doing things, were as Tsunade would normally fight them head on, and even now thinking of doing such a thing made her feel nauseous. But after what she had seen in this girl's mind, she was too much of a threat. Which was why, with this line of thinking, Tsunade found it strange that she extinguished the flow of chakra in her hand, which in turn caused the blade on her neck to disappear, and stood up straight.

Turning on her heel, The older woman walked away from the sleeping girl, snatching her cloak from the tomboy named Tenten and made her way to the threshold of the living room door. But before the healer carried on, she stopped. Turning her head slightly to look behind her, she raised her hand and snapped her fingers together. The moment the woman did, blue aura surrounded the pinkette, before it dispersed.

"Sakura-chan!" exclaimed the ravenette, Hyūga Hinata, and rushed to her friend's side, inspecting her body for signs of change. The tomboy looked from her distressed friend to glare daggers at Tsunade.

"Oi, Obasan, what the hell did you do!" she shouted, Tsunade's facing twitching from the title she gave me. How dare the brat call her an old lady!

But she successfully kept her stoic face, no matter how much she wanted to strangle the stupid idiot, and decided to answer. "I simply made her chakra unstable again, undoing what I've done," Tsunade said in a matter of fact tone, making the three girl's eyes widen in shock. "I may not be able to kill her, but I won't just let her simply wake up and run around. Just be glad that's all I'm doing."

And with those words hanging in the air, Tsunade finally left the Hyūga household, the last thing she heard was a strangled sob coming from the ravenette.

Raising the saké bottle in her hand, Tsunade took a couple of heavy gulps, the alcoholic beverage burned as it went down her throat. Releasing a big sigh after she removed it from her lips, the blonde gave the thing a narrowed eye glare. It tastes like shit she thought bitterly, comparing it to the stuff she normally had back home. After having left the Hyūga household, Tsunade so desperately needed a drink from that whole thing with the pinkette's mind and Yamanaka's challenge. Walking around aimlessly around this city, the woman happened to come across a traditional Japanese bar and had a few drinks there. Every now and again someone would come up and hit on her, no doubt being drawn in by her massive cleavage, and in their interesting attempt at trying, the healer would brush them away. All except for the last guy, the man reaching over with his hand on her leg. He got a broken nose for his troubles.

Knowing that she wasn't going to get any peace, and resisting the urge to gamble at a table a couple of feet away from her, Tsunade took some saké with her to go. Now she was here, sitting on one of the swing sets in a children's playground, drinking this piss take of saké. Taking another set of heavy gulps, the woman let out a huge breath, before looking up. The rain had stopped an hour or so ago, the darkness of the clouds opening up to reveal many, clear stars in the night sky. Suddenly, breaking the perfect peaceful atmosphere, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching her, and she turned her gaze from the lovely view up above, to meet the white eyes of Hyūga Hinata, a navy blue duffel coat over her school uniform.

Her eyes where slightly red from the crying she no doubt did when the older woman left and decided to tear her eyes away from her. "If you've come to ask me for help, Hyūga-san, then you can just leave," said Tsunade, taking another drink which made her want to gag, and spit it out. Regardless of what she said, however, the girl remained where she was, staring at the healer. But she could stand there for all Tsunade cared, it wasn't going to change her decision either way. The woman took another swig, again the liquid burning her throat, enjoying the silence once more.

"Why?" the girl's voice broke the quiet. Annoyingly, Tsunade looked back at the girl. "Why did you try and kill Sakura-chan?"

"Why?" the woman repeated, not believing what she was hearing, before she started to laugh, no, cackle loudly. Once brown eyed woman was able to compose herself after a couple of seconds, she then glared at the ravenette. "I take it that you being very good friends with Yamanaka, that you're very much aware that she's a demon, am I correct? Then you should know that it was my job as a Demon Hunter; exterminating demons."

"Was?"

Tsunade's eyes widened from that. Fuck she cursed in her thoughts, letting something like that slip from her mouth. Even though the booze she was drinking tasted like piss, shit, or whatever it tasted like, it still had the affects of alcohol; making her mouth loose of her true feelings. With a grunt the older woman drank the rest of her drink, emptying all of it's contents and threw the thing away. "Go home Hyūga-san," Tsunade growled out, standing up from her seat, before turning on her heel to leave. Unfortunately the girl just wouldn't give up, the sound of running feet coming from behind the blonde until the ravenette was now in her way, blocking her path. "Get out of my way." This girl was really starting to piss the healer off.

"I refuse," she said, shaking her head. "Not until you tell me by what you meant when you said 'was'."

That was when she couldn't contain it any longer. Gritting her teeth, Tsunade closed what distance there was between them, reached out to grab the collar of the girl's coat and held her up, her feet a few inches off the ground. Her eyes never left brown orbs. "Let me ask you a question now, Hyūga-san," she growled. "Have you ever lost people, that were so close to you, by demons?"

"I haven't," she replied, and Tsunade mentally scoffed. Of course this girl wouldn't know what the pain of loss was, "But I do know what's like." Now those words got the blonde intrigued. She let the girl go then, said ravenette hitting the ground on her ass. When she eventually got up, at the same time rubbing her posterior, she carried on. "I almost lost Tenten, my best friend, to one. And if it hadn't been for Sakura-chan, she'd be dead. She even saved my life when she didn't have to." The Hyūga girl's eyes went downcast at this point, her hand going over her chest, to where her heart was, water beginning to grow in her eyes. " And now, seeing her like she is, it breaks my heart knowing that I can't do anything to help her!"

Tears began to cascade down the young girl's face as she silently sobbed to herself. Tsunade was completely baffled at how much this girl seemed to care about such a dangerous creature known only to the hunter world. "Why do you care about that girl so much?" she asked, the curiosity getting the better of her.

The ravenette wiped her eyes with her sleeve and looked back up with a solid gaze, never wavering when she easily admits to the woman, "I'm in love with her."

Once again the girl surprised her. Did she say that she was in love with her? With a demon? When the words finally registered in Tsunade's brain, she couldn't help it, she started to chuckle again. "You're joking, right?" she asked. "Just now,you admitted to me that she saved you. Are you sure it isn't some heroic worship?" It was understandable to mistake love for something that was like it. She's seen it happen before. This 'love' she was feeling was just in her head.

There was a long pause, white eyes closing, and this time the Hyūga girl placed both hands over her heart. "You're right, " the ravenette agreed and upon hearing those words, Tsunade closed her eyes and smiled. She knew it. But before she could say 'I told you so', the girl continued. "She saved my life, but that wasn't when I fell in love with her." She opened her eyes again, her white orbs showing nothing but steel confidence. "It was when I finally saw her smiling for the first time. A true, precious smile that only I got to witness."

Tsunade let out a sigh at that point, shaking her head. "You really are delusional. That demon-"

"That demon has a name!" the young girl exclaimed, the blonde's eyes opening wide from the outburst, pure rage now in innocent orbs of white. "It's Haruno Sakura! She's a person, like you and me, who only wants to have a normal life!" Dark eyebrows furrowed the ravenette's features. "You might be strong, Tsunade-san, but I refuse to let you belittle her any longer." Tsunade started to think her eyes where playing tricks on her because all of a sudden, veins began to protrude from the girl's temples up to her forehead, and her blank white eyes started to become more distinct. The woman also felt her chakra suddenly begin to rise, and suddenly, the only thing that she could think to herself was:

Who is this girl?

Uh-oh, looks like Hinata means buisness. Let's hope it goes well :)
