"Rock on!" Daldus yelled strumming his guitar again.
"Come on feel the noise!" Heather cheered.
Ruby didn't enjoy the music one bit, she covered her ears to block out the sound. "That's so loud!" she yelled as Daldus and Heather danced to the noise. "Heather? Is all this noise making you act like this?"
"Don't waste your breath, my succubus spell has made your little friend my slave," Daldus laughed. "I've got a like a dog on chain." He then stopped playing and smiled evilly at Ruby. "I thought about making both of you babes my slaves, but that wouldn't be as much fun. Because there's nothing hotter than watching chicks in catfight. Give me some hair pulling, cloth whipping dirty action."
"Your real sicko," said Ruby distastefully.
"Oh, ya? You really know how to sweet talk don't you baby?" said Daldus with an evil look on his face he then played his guitar once again.
"That little baby is going to get the spanking of her life," said Heather and turned to water.
She then trapped Ruby in a massive talent of water.
"Oh man, I just change clothes," Ruby muttered as the water splashed on a clothes.
Then Heather's watery body form appeared in front of her. "Now then, we need to work on your image if we really want to rock," she said and grabbed the front of her dress. "You got to start by showing a little more skin. Like this!"
She then ripped the front of Ruby's dress and feeling mortified Ruby she covered front of her dress with her arms.
"Oh ya!" Daldus yelled strumming his guitar like mad. "Bad to the bone."
Heather then reappeared in front of him in a solid form.
Ruby removed her bandanna and tied around her breasts. "Don't let it get to you," said she begged. "You gotta snap out of it Heather."
Her pleas fell on deaf ears as Heather slammed into her and then blasted her with a massive force of water. She then grabbed Ruby's hair and forcefully slammed her to the floor.
"Listen! If you really want to join Dragon Tail like you said you did this is the best way to go around getting in!" Ruby yelled.
"Now we're really rocking, but I need more screens in the mix! Cracks some for me!" Daldus ordered.
Heather replied by whipping Ruby with a whip of water. Daldus laughed maniacally every time Ruby screamed.
"Yeah, that's the sound that gets me is on fire, real hard-core rock 'n' roll," said Daldus.
"You've got a sick sense of humour," Ruby growled.
Daldus just laughed. "Don't put the brakes on the catfight girls," he ordered. "Get nasty like you're fighting over dude that rock your world."
Have a reply without response by turning to a massive typhoon of water and slammed into Ruby. Inside the typhoon Ruby failed hope draining from her. Daldus had complete control over Heather and there was no way she could defeat Heather in a real fight she was just too strong.
"You're going to drown in my body of water," said Heather's voice.
She was right, Ruby wouldn't be able to hold her breath much longer.
"Ruby, can you hear me?" said Heather's voice, but she sounded like her normal self.
"Heather?" Ruby gasped.
"I'm sorry, I can't control my actions," said Heather. It was like Heather was inside her head. "I didn't want to hurt you, because I consider you a friend. And I hope you think of me as one to. I know we have are fair share of agreements, but I really do like you. I've grown to love everyone I've met in Dragon Tail. They care about others, they like to have fun, there so friendly and warm. Dragon Tail Vikings are like rays of sunshine that chase away the clouds on a gloomy day. Before o met all of you, I never knew a guild could be such a happy place. For the first time in my life I felt I was making friends I could honestly trust, but who would want to be friends with a girl who could bring such misfortune."
It was then Ruby realised that Heather was crying, even despite being in all of this water she could feel the warmth of her tears.
"Now Heather! It's time for the big faunally baby!" Daldus yelled.
Ruby was then tossed out of Heather typhoon and then she returned to her solid form and stood next to Daldus.
"Oh, yeah!" she yelled and her arm turned into water and smiled evilly at Ruby. "Are you ready to be rock?"
"Someone like you, somebody who shades tears for their friends, will always be welcome to the Dragon Tail guild," said Ruby getting into her feet.
Heather was taken aback and stared at her. Then a single tear rolled down her cheek.
"I know you're a good person and thanks to you I just had a great idea," said Ruby.
"What a load of trash," Daldus snorted. "Let's send this boring prude to Helheim already." He then began to stub his guitar once again. "Hit it baby!"
Once the music hit her ears, Heather snapped out of her stance and looked at Ruby with statistic look.
"Oh, I will," she said. Then her whole body began a vortex. "My Water Jigsaw will cut you into little pieces." Heather then charged straight at her. "No encore for you!"
"You have to get out of the way Ruby!" the real Heather yelled in Ruby's mind.
Then Ruby pulled out Aquarius' Gate Key and waited for the right time, she could only have one shot at this. Then she slammed Aquarius' Gate Key straight into Heather stopping her in her tracks.
Both Heather and Daldus just stared in disbelief.
"Open Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!" Ruby yelled.
Suddenly appearing out of Heather was Aquarius.
"What the?" Daldus gasped.
"She's summoned one of her spirits using my body?" Heather gasped.
"If there's water I can always call on the most vicious spirit I know and it's all thanks body of yours," said Ruby.
However, Aquarius happened to be in one of her raging moods.
"I get called all the way out here for you annoying cows!" Aquarius board.
She then created a massive tsunami and all three of them stared in horror as it crashed on top of them. However, Daldus was draining the water with his hair like he did before with Heather's attack.
"What did I tell ya?" said Daldus as he happily absorb the water. "Water is the best thing for my hair so as long as it's flowing anger keeps sucking it up."
Ruby managed to stick her head out of the water and noticed that Heather was nowhere to be seen.
"Where are you?" Ruby yelled.
Heather then popped her head out of the water and it would seem that Daldus' spell had worn off and she was now back to a normal self.
"Over here!" Heather yelled.
"Heather!" Ruby yelled out stretching her arm.
"Ruby!" Heather yelled also out stretching her arm.
Then the moment the two hands touched each other a bright light filled the room.
From his throne room Jellal since a massive surge of magic power coming from where Daldus was battling.
"Where did all this magic energy come from?" he said puzzled. Then a thought appeared in his head. "Don't tell me they fused their powers. It's a Unison Raid."
In the room where they were battling the water just kept on coming and it was overwhelming Daldus.
"Whoa, this might be a little too much," said Daldus worriedly. "I was just kidding ladies you stop the water now please."
But they didn't instead they increase the power and slammed Daldus with a vortex that sent him straight up at the ceiling. The impact knocked him unconscious and frankly overwhelming water tolerant his hair fell off.
Then all three of them fell into the water and it began to dispel flowing down into the nearby corridors.
Once the girls saw that Daldus was unconscious they hugged each other.
"We won!" Ruby yelled triumphantly.
"And I'm back to normal!" said Heather relieved.
"I'm glad, thanks for your help," said Ruby.
"I should be thanking you Ruby," said Heather. "This is the first time another girl has been nice to me. It's almost too good to be true."
"I'm impressed that you two were able to do a Unison Raid," said Aquarius. She then glared at Ruby. "But you better watch where you're summoning me here on out, because if I find myself popping out of a toilet in a filthy public restroom you're as good as dead."
"Yes ma'am," Ruby clinched.
"What you mean by Unison Raid?" Heather asked.
"The form of magic that combines two different Vikings powers together," Aquarius explained. "In fact you can train an entire lifetime and not achieve it."
Ruby and Heather looked at each other. Did they really just encompass something so impossible?
"Anyway, I'll be going on vacation with my sexy man," said Aquarius. "So don't even think about summoning me!"
"Yes ma'am," said Ruby fearfully.
"You understand when you have a boyfriend," Aquarius smirked before disappearing.
"Hey, I'm single by choice!" Ruby yelled.
"I'm sure you'll find your true love eventually," Heather assured.
"Yeah, maybe so," said Ruby. Ruby then collapsed onto the floor. "We just took down a member of Trinity Raven, I'd bet that creepy Jellal guy never expected that one."
"Well, I didn't do much of anything," said Heather. "It was all you Ruby."
"Did you hear Aquarius, she said that a Unison Raid takes two people to perform it," Ruby reminded. "We worked together, you were there when I needed you the most that's what friends are supposed to do with each other. It meant a lot to me so for now on that's how I want you to think of me… as a friend you can count on. If that's okay with you?"
Heather then fell onto her knees and began to cry. "Great, as if there wasn't enough water in here," she joked.
Ruby chuckled. "Don't worry it is of joy are allowed," she assured. She then told her body getting heavy, that battle with Daldus had really taken its toll on her. "Man, I'm tired. How about we just stay here and rest for a bit."
Heather had to agree, her body was starting to get tired as well. "A great idea, I could use a break," she said.
In his throne room, Jellal was studying at the board and at Daldus toppled piece.
"A Unison Raid," he said looking slightly troubled. "Those two actually did it. Priests have trained for their entire lives trying to achieve it, but even the most disciplined and never able to succeed. It was quite impressive, even though it was dumb luck. Well I've learned my lesson, I won't underestimate the power of Astrid allies again."
Meanwhile at Era, the Viking council was still discussing about using Etherion last on the Tower of Valhalla.
"The debate onto whether or not we attack the Tower of Valhalla, the final vote stands four in favour and five against," said Heyral. "Therefore the council has decided against firing the Etherion Cannon at this time."
"You fools!" Strider growled. "Extreme threats can only be counted by extreme measures!"
"Watch your mouth Strider, we have made our final decision," said Heyral. "We believe it is possible to reach a peaceful resolution."
"I'm telling you you're wrong, while we're wasting our breath debating the issue Jellal's coming closer and closer to the select the dead," said Strider. "I know you felt it, the negative energy that's slowly spreading across the land. It's because of the man he is attempting to bring back from the ashes."
"And who is that?" Borg asked.
"Stop beating around the bush and get to the point," said Sven.
"I dared not speak its name, afraid of any mention of him would cause widespread panic word get out, but you left me with no other choice," Strider sighed.
"Just get to the point about who you're talking about," said Borg.
"Explain yourself," Heyral demanded.
"He's resurrecting Drago Bludvist!" Strider yelled.
Everyone gasped in horror and then they began to talk among themselves.
"And you're absolutely certain of this?" Heyral asked. "You're sure?"
"I am," said Strider. "I know Jellal's motivations all too well. Such is the bond between two twins." He waited for moment for everyone to talk among themselves and then said, "I call another vote."
Meanwhile, at the Tower of Valhalla, Hiccup was still battling against Frodi and it was not going well.
Frodi swung a powerful kick at him, but Hiccup was able to block it and it left Frodi wide-open for and attack.
"Fire Dragon's Blazing Claw!" Hiccup yelled dealing Frodi with a powerful punch across his face. He was hit so hard that he slammed into another cage.
Hiccup turned, but saw that his attack had no effect whatsoever. Frodi just got back onto his feet and brushed the dust off his shoulders.
"Sorry to disappoint you," said Frodi.
From afar Toothless and Olaf watched the battle.
"That guy is going hit for hit against Hiccup," Toothless gasped.
"Of course he is, I'd expect nothing less from a member of Trinity Raven," said Olaf.
Frodi began to laugh. "And now the mighty hammer of justice will finally fall upon you!" He yelled and bent down. "Missile!"
Suddenly his jetpack ignited, but it was detached from his backpack and headed straight towards Hiccup at blinding speed. Luckily, Hiccup was able to dodge it and was confused about the attack.
"Was that it?" Hiccup yelled.
However, the jetpack then turned and headed back towards him, luckily he was able to jump out of the way.
"And up it goes," said Frodi. Then slots in the jetpack opened up and arms extended out of it. "Arm Hand! Now!"
Too late, Hiccup realised what his plan was. The jetpack made its way back towards him and he was unable to dodge it this, because he was in mid-air. The arms from the jetpack grabbed him and began fly around in a circle at blinding speed.
"Around the world you go!" Frodi smirked.
"His attacks are so bizarre," said Olaf.
Normally Hiccup was fine with high speeds, because of all the times he flew around with Toothless, but with the jetpack flying around in circles at high speed Hiccup felt he was going to throw up.
"Weaken you're prey before you go for the kill that's the first rule of hunting," said Frodi.
The jetpack the realised Hiccup and fell downwards, with all the spinning around Hiccup couldn't tell which way was up.
Frodi then jumped towards him. "Now! Absorption!" he yelled.
He then grabbed Hiccup and at once Hiccup felt all his magical energy disappear, he then realised that Frodi was absorbing all his power. Once he was done, Frodi realised Hiccup and he toppled onto a cage in a crumpled heap.
Meanwhile, not far away, Ragnar was running down a corridor. As he ran he couldn't help but think about the first time he met Astrid when they were kids.
It was a normal day at Dragon Tail, or as normal as it gets round there, Agatha was telling Ragnar fortune using her cards.
"Are you sure you're reading those cards right?" he asked skeptically.
"Look I know what I'm doing and I didn't read them wrong," said Agatha firmly. "It's your lucky day so just deal with it for crying out loud."
"I hardly call it my day lucky, I mean I fell into a ditch this morning and I lost my stupid wallet," said Ragnar. "So personally I think this is my most unlucky day.
Suddenly the mean door open and everyone looked up. They all remain silent, because they a twelve year old girl in rags with blond hair and an eyepatch over her left eye with her arm around Hiccup's neck.
Hiccup then helped her inside and suddenly the most elder members like Gobber and Spitelout rush over to them.
Ragnar could hear the girl say, "This is it the guild I was told about."
Back in the present Ragnar had just arrived in the room where Hiccup and Frodi were battling. He saw Olaf and Toothless staring at a muscular opponent.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"You're here," Olaf gasped.
"What did that guy do to Hiccup?" Ragnar asked worriedly.
"I am able to absorb my prey's magical energy," said Frodi.
"You'll pay for what you did!" Toothless yelled and flying straight at him.
Frodi turned around and what he did next advised everyone, he fired a stream of fire that was very similar to Hiccup's breath attack.
"Impossible," said Olaf.
"Toothless!" Ragnar yelled.
Toothless collapsed onto one of cages and it was then that they realised that Frodi had only absorbed Hiccup's magical energy, but all of his magic powers as well.
"When he absorbed Hiccup's magical energy he also absorbed his magical power," Olaf gasped.
"Weren't expecting that were you?" said Frodi.
"Their strength combined is terrifying," said Olaf looking extremely worried.
"Now for the final blow!" Frodi yelled and find another fire breath attack at Toothless.
Toothless closed his eyes ready for the end to come, but out of nowhere Ragnar grabbed him and shielded him from the flames as he grabbed one the chains holding the cage up.
"Yep, that fire pretty hot all right," Ragnar winced.
"Oh, and who are you?" Frodi asked looking at Ragnar.
Ragnar ignored the question and looked down at Olaf. "Hey, you!" he yelled. "I thought you were going to catch Tamlen and rescue Astrid!"
"That's where I was heading before this happened," said Olaf defensively.
"We don't have time to mess with him," said Ragnar as he jumped off the chain and landed on another cage. "We need to find him, because if we don't know there's chance she'll end up as Jellal's sacrifice." He then please toothless down. "Normally I'm sure she'd have no problem taking them down on her own, but she's helpless as long as that psycho friend of yours has her trapped inside that card."
"I'm sorry, I thought Tamlen could handle the truth," said Olaf apologetically. "I would never imagine he'd go berserk like that."
"Ragnar, save him, he needs you," said Toothless weakly.
"Man, you just keep getting into trouble," said Ragnar shaking his head in disbelief. "And I'm always the one who trying to get you out of it."
"Well, you will be getting him out of trouble now," said Frodi smugly. "In a mere ten minutes from now Night Fury's body will expire and once that happens I'll be able to use his powers to bring you to justice."
Suddenly a fiery aura surrounded him and Ragnar landed on the same cage he was on.
"Oh yeah, I wouldn't be too sure about that," said Ragnar.
"You'll fall to," said Frodi.
"Ice-Make: Lance!" Ragnar roared firing several ice lances at Frodi.
However, Frodi just took in a deep breath. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" he roared firing his breath attack.
"Watch out! These twice as strong now that he can use Night Fury's powers!" Olaf yelled.
Frodi fire breath attack slammed into the ice lances and they mounted the second they may contact. Then the flame continued and slammed into Ragnar, who tried hold his ground.
"You should know that ice is no match for fire!" Frodi yelled.
Ragnar yelled in pain as the flames burned his skin.
"Ragnar!" Toothless and Olaf yelled.
"It's no use, your friend was even stronger than you realised! You don't stand a chance against his flames!" Frodi yelled.
As the flames burned his skin Ragnar couldn't help but think back to the time when Astrid joined Dragon Tail.
Astrid now was wearing decent clothing, but unlike everyone else she was sitting alone eating quietly.
The other kids just looked at her not sure what to make of her.
"I feel bad for her, because she's always alone," said Agatha.
"Doesn't help that she doesn't talk to anyone," said Hiccup.
"You brought her here, what her story?" Ragnar asked.
"She told me was a name and that she wanted to join Dragon Tail and she didn't tell me anything else," said Hiccup.
"Maybe cos you don't have the old Snotlout charm," said Snotlout grinning.
"Yeah, that's it," said Hiccup sarcastically.
Apparently Snotlout didn't catch Hiccup's sarcasm and approached her.
"Hey, beautiful while you spend some time with old Snotlout," said Snotlout grinning like an idiot.
Astrid just ignored him.
"Hey I'm talking to ya," said Snotlout grabbing her arm.
The next thing that happened was both scary and very amusing. Astrid twisted Snotlout's arm and then elbowed him so hard that he slammed into Hiccup's table. After seeing that everyone laughed.
"You really have a way with the ladies," Gobber laughed.
"If the rest of you are smart you leave me alone," said Astrid walking away in a huff.
"Somehow having her around will make things even more interesting," said Ragnar trying to hold back his laughter.
"That's one way of putting it," said Hiccup.
Back in the present, Ragnar unleashed a powerful burst of magic that froze the entire flames around him.
Everyone just stared.
"He was able to freeze the fire," Olaf gasped.
"Hiccup's flames are way hotter, pal," Ragnar smirked. "But I expected that, because you're just some copycat."
Frodi smiled. "That's some impressive power you've got maybe I should take yours too," he said and charged at him.
Frodi then grabbed Ragnar and began to suck out his power.
"Ragnar!" Toothless and Olaf yelled.
However, an icy aura covered Ragnar's body and Frodi began to freeze. At once Frodi realised him and clutched his hand in pain.
"So cold!" he yelled.
"I'm not going to waste anymore of my time playing these stupid games with you!" Ragnar yelled. "I've got more important things to do like rescue Astrid!"
He then remembered back when they were kids.
Snotlout had tried to woo Astrid, but every time he did she either twisted his arm or pounded him into the ground. Today she pounded him into the ground and he had large lumps all over his face.
"That lass sure is one of a kind," said Gobber noting Snotlout's lumpy face.
"She certainly got spite I'll give her that," Spitelout muttered.
Snotlout just huffed away and saw that Hiccup and Ragnar were laughing.
"You'll see she'll fall for me!" Snotlout roared.
Back in the present, Ragnar was charging straight at Frodi.
"Astrid I swear I'll bring you back home," said Ragnar.
He then remembered the day when he and Hiccup became friends with her.
It was even and Astrid was sitting by the cannel watching the sunset. Knowing that she hadn't had a proper welcome to the guild the two boys thought they'd make an adept.
"Hey, Astrid!" Hiccup yelled as they ran towards her.
"We want to talk to you!" Ragnar yelled.
Then Astrid turned her head and they saw that she was crying. Once they saw this they stopped in their tracks and stared at her.
"What do you two want?" Astrid demanded getting to feet and rubbing her eye. "What is it with you guys haven't you had enough?" Hiccup and Ragnar looked at each other blankly. "All right, give me your best shot."
Then the two boys realised that she thought they want to fight her.
"Wait, you miss understand," said Hiccup quickly.
"Yeah, we just wanted to welcome you to Dragon Tail," said Ragnar holding his hands up in surrender.
"You don't want to fight me?" said Astrid curiously.
"Even if I wanted to I couldn't find a girl who just cried," said Hiccup blushing slightly.
Then the three of them looked at the sunset.
Back in the present both Ragnar and Frodi clashed and unleashed a powerful amount of magic power. Frodi, however, proved too strong and sent Ragnar backwards.
Ragnar quickly recovered and glared at Frodi. "Out of my way," he said as an ice blades covered both his right hand and left elbow.
He then jumped at Frodi and began to slashes ice blades at him. "Ice Blade: Seven Slice Dance!" he yelled as he slashed Frodi seven times.
His blaze shattered and he looked up to see Frodi toppling over and a fiery aura exiting from his body and entering into Hiccup's.
"He beat him!" Toothless yelled in triumph.
Ragnar just stood there and realised why Astrid was always very comfortable in armour. She kept a heart shielded herself in armour, because she thought that was the only way to keep it from breaking again. But it didn't stop the pain.
Toothless rushed over to Hiccup with relief. "Hiccup," he said.
"That was incredible," said Olaf.
"I hope she knows that her friends in Dragon Tail are ten times better than any armour," Ragnar said to himself. "With us around she'll never cry again."
Meanwhile, at Era, the Viking council had just finished voting whether or not to use Etherion.
"There are now eight votes in favour and only one against," said Heyral looking at Johann. "Therefore, an Etherion blast will be used to strike down the Tower of Valhalla."
Once it was announced everyone working in the Viking Council headquarters began preparations.
"The council has made the decision," said an employee. "The Etherion will be fired in one hour!"
As everyone was preparing to fire the Etherion, Johann was walking towards Strider's office.
He knocked on his door and heard Strider say, "Come in."
Johann entered and found that Ultear was there with him. "Please forgive my intrusion," he said.
"Johann," said Strider looking slightly surprised.
"I'm sorry Strider, but I don't think this is a wise move," said Johann as he approached the window. "Surely an intelligent man like yourself can come up easily with another peaceful way of resolving this volatile situation."
"I wish there was another way, but the consequences of Drago Bludvist's resurrection are just too dire," said Strider. "That's why we must stop him, by any means necessary. You understand don't you elder?"
Johann sighed. "Yes we must stop Jellal I agree, but can you live with the consequences of today's vote?"
"Of course, that a burden I'm willing to bear," said Strider.
"This blast could kill thousands of innocent people!" Johann yelled in outrage. "Including your own twin brother. I hope you realise the burden of his death and the countless others have fallen alongside him will rest squarely on your shoulders. Do you?"
"I know what's at stake here and I'm prepared to do what I must," said Strider.
In his throne room, Jellal just smiled.
"So, your move now, but you better hurry soon the light will rain down upon our heads," he said.
