My POV:

We made our way to Djose Temple to check up on things. I saw some of Gippal's friends, so I decided to say hi to them. In the temple, an Al Bhed spoke to us. "We did research on machina construction and built a superweapon! Not even you could beat this thing." the Al Bhed told us.

"Well, now. That sounds like a dare." Paine commented.

"Hell yeah it does!" Christian shouted.

"He wants us to challenge their "unbeatable machina."" Rikku said.

"How about it? Ready to lose?" he asked.

"Bring it on pal! We'll POUND it!" I shouted. We all went inside and beat up the Experiment. Well, Thunder is opposed to Water…so…."WATERGA!" I shouted as I blasted the Experiment with it. We defeated the Experiment and I smirked at the Al Bhed.

"We really trashed it. I'm sorry." Yuna said to the Al Bhed.

"No worries. What is good about machina is they can be built anew, you see?" he told us. We began getting repair manuals from other Al Bhed, then decided to head to Bikanel Desert. Once we got there, we excavated for more parts for Experiment. *WHY are we doing this again? Oh right….we defeated that machina thing…* I thought as I kept digging. Then, we came back to Djose to see that Experiment had gone haywire.

"Oh, the horror! We got cocky and souped up our machina too much. Now it is out of control." one Al Bhed said.

"What? You made the thing and now you can't control it?" Paine asked.

"You should be ashamed of yourselves!" Rikku exclaimed.

"Seriously. How unprofessional." Christian commented, shaking his head.

"We are deeply repentant." the Al Bhed said.

"You should be! Never get too cocky." I scolded them, despite of how younger I am to them.

"Only one thing to do." Yuna said. We all nodded and readied our weapons. We decided to take on the big fat Experiment.

"If you think you can beat it easily, you are mistaken!" the Al Bhed shouted to us.

"Dude, shut up. I will slice your throat. If you don't shut up. So shut up." I told him. I glared at him.

"Just whose side are you on anyway?" Christian asked, annoyed as he went into his battle stance. We fought Experiment. It took a while, but we managed to defeat it.

"Nice work!" the Al Bhed commented.

"Why thank you." Paine said back.

"Meh, shut up. Now, WHO said we couldn't beat it easily?" I asked him with my arms crossed. He glared at me and pointed a knife at me.

"And who's fault was it that our leader went missing?" he asked. I widened my eyes and clenched my fists.

"Are you saying Gippal going missing is MY fault!" I shouted at him. All of a sudden, I got pulled away by Christian. I was struggling against him, but I didn't win.

"You could've gotten hurt. Shut up." he told me. I pouted and walked alongside him. While we were on our way out, Rikku asked Paine who taught her how to speak Al Bhed.

"I wonder." Paine replied.

"Gippal?" I asked.

"Guess he got me interested." Paine said.

"I knew it! That guy's always been a player!" Rikku exclaimed. Christian and I laughed.

"It's not like that. You see, it occurred to me that learning another language might help me broaden my horizons." Paine answered.

"Did it work?" Yuna asked.

"Words weren't enough. But I did come to a realization: In order to expand your horizons, you have to open yourself up. Get involved with the outside world, let it shape and affect you. That's the only way to change." Paine replied.

"Um…..I don't get it." Rikku said. I face-palmed.

"What I'm trying to say is that running around with you two has helped me change a lot. Along with Carmina and Christian." Paine said. I smiled at her.

"What'd we do?" Rikku asked.

"Well for one thing, you got me to talk. I… Well I finally feel I can talk about things." Paine explained.

"That's good. We thought we were bothering you." Yuna said.

"Oh, you did at first. You never shut up. I was ready to lay down some serious hurt. Christian, you were too cocky. Carmina, too childish and hyper."

"What!" Yuna, Christian, and I exclaimed.

"Just at first." Paine reassured us. Yuna acted like her feelings were hurt, and Christian and I played along.

"Yunie…." Rikku said, also acting sad.

"H-hey!" Paine exclaimed.

"Guys, let's go." Yuna said. We all nodded and walked ahead. Paine ran after us to catch up. We all laughed when we got on the Celsius, and even Paine let out a small chuckle. We then went to the Moonflow to talk to Tobli.

"Yuna-Carminapalooza was a super smasheriffic success! But we mustn't let success go to our heads, no, no, no! We must succeed again once more! Well, do relax and enjoy it. The show, I mean." Tobli told us. We watched the show with the shoopuf and the Musicians. "I know, I know! As long as you're here, why don't you join them up onstage? Since you are you, you're most welcome to! In fact, I want you to! I insist!" Tobli suggested.

"Let's go onstage!" Yuna exclaimed. We nodded and went up there, dancing a little. We were all happy. Once we got off, Tobli went up to us.

"Wow, it's happening! It's hot! I'm burning, I'm burning! Thank you so, so much. Really and truly! I must give you a little something in return." Tobli exclaimed.

"Oh, that's okay. We really enjoyed doing it." Rikku said with a smile.

"Right?" we all said.

"Well, well. I'm delighted that you were so entertained!" Tobli shouted.

"Yup yup!" I exclaimed.

Tobli added, "I'm oh so very ecstatic to hear you say so! This is a dream. Mine, I mean! Joining everyone's hearts into one ginormous heart! So that's why I do it. My work. Yessiree! Dear, I've talked too, too, too, long. Much too long! Future customers await! Back to work, work, work! Ahem. Work!" While Tobli was about to run away, Rikku wished him good luck. "Oh, oh. I nearly forgot. I'd like to ask your help again one of these days. I'd most politely like to formally request your later participation in advance."

"Woo hooo." Rikku and I both said, a little too…..unenthusiastically. We decided to walk around Moonflow for a bit, when a few guys my age walked up to Yuna and me.

"Hey there! Can we have your autographs?" one guy asked with a grin. Yuna looked at me and I nodded. We gave them our autographs.

"Thanks!" one guy exclaimed. We just nodded and smiled.

"Wow…..looks like you guys have fans." Paine commented.

"Christian!~ Better watch out for all the boys! I saw one eyeing your girlfriend..~~~" Rikku teased in a sing-song voice. Christian just glared at her and crossed his arms. Yuna and Paine both smiled and I let out a giggle. We then headed back inside the Celsius.
