Ever since Rayonna's incident the last couple of days had been Rough on Jazmine she never knew that one Rumor could change people's outlook on who you are in people's eyes.
The snide remarks were really starting to get to her and it bothered her that would people actually thought she really pushed Rayonna down the stairs even though Rayonna made it clear now that it wasn't true it didn't help that both girls exchange dirty looks in each other presences whenever they were near each other.
She was grateful that she had her friends her cousin and Huey to be supportive and stand by her side. The hardest moment for her was when two girls corner her in the gym and taunted her with comments saying was she going to push them down the stairs too when she got pissed when they didn't pass her the ball during volleyball.
"Everybody know those hands are dangerous Dubois be careful Lisa she just might pushed you too" A girl named Celeste sneered at her.
"Oh trust me I am, I don't want to be next" her friend Lisa Laughed holding hands up backing up as though she was terrified.
"I know if you don't back off my bitch ya'll both gonna be the next two to catch these hands" Cindy said loudly coming around the corner jumping in the girls faces who both scattered like ants.
"Thanks Cindy" Jazmine sighed as she leaned back against the locker looking dejected and tired.
"It's no problem jazzy you my girl I got your back no matter what but if you don't start snapping at these hoes a little bit they gonna think they can say anything to you I say you start knocking these tired bitches out" Cindy said with concerned on her face.
"You know I'm not a fighter like you" Jazmine shaking her head she couldn't imagine being in a fight right now.
"You don't have to be but the same way you been sticking up for yourself lately is the same way you need too now" Cindy pressed on.
"I guess you're right, but how can I when everyone here thinks that I pushed Rayonna down the stairs you know I went to talked to her at the hospital and she thinks that Ashley pushed her so maybe it's a good thing that people do think it's me because Ashley is practically new here she doesn't need her reputation soiled" Jazmine said grabbing her clothes so she could change.
"Who knows who pushed Rayonna down the stairs that still gives nobody no right to pick on you and harass you when they don't have any real proof only fools listen to gossip" Cindy replied grabbing her own clothes.
"True I just hope this blows over soon and everyone leaves me alone" Jazmine said sullenly…..
Ashley wrapped a strand of curly hair around her finger as she watched Huey intently in her math class she was wearing one of Jazmine's sweaters and a skirt with a pair of short tan boots and she looked amazing but she was royally ticked off because she knew she looked great but however Huey barely glanced at her.
What was the point in wearing Jazmine's clothes if he didn't notice her she figured if she dressed like Jazmine a little it would make him notice her but as always his attention was focused on stupid ass little Jazmine.
She was hoping with the aftermath of Rayonna's fall that would make him distance from her because her rep was in great distress at school with everyone thinking that Jazmine pushed her and she had great hope especially once the couple got into a very nasty argument which ended with Jazmine defending her from Huey because he was suspicious that she had something to do with it.
But even that didn't stop the young couple from walking back hand in hand looking at each other longingly it made Ashley sick to her stomach just thinking about it.
Flashback….
Ashley couldn't wait to get Cairo scent off her the shower was literally screaming her name she was almost disgusted with herself that she had to sleep with him to keep him in line but what choice did she have she was working too hard to get what she wants and she couldn't let him punk out on her.
At least the bright side was that Huey and Jazmine were fighting and as long as they were fighting there would be great tension between the couple and the more tension between the two of them the further apart they would be she thought gleefully.
She was smiling hard to herself about this until she looked up too see Huey and Jazmine walking up holding hands Jazmine face flushed pink while Huey gazed back at her two small patches of pink on his own cheeks.
It was as though someone drop a pound of rocks in Ashley's stomach as she bit back the bitter taste of disgust and anger lingering in her throat.
"Ashley" Jazmine cried happily noticing her a big smile stretched across her pretty face.
"Hey Jazmine" Ashley forcing her voice to be sweet. But in the inside she wanted to snatched Huey and Jazmine apart.
"I see you two made up" she said with forced cheerfulness.
"Yeah" Jazmine replied softly blushing.
"I got some Homework I need to get done I'll call you later" Huey said giving Jazmine a soft kiss on the lips that made Ashley almost turned as green as the grass. He then gave Ashley a cool nod and made his way across the street to his own house.
"I'm so lucky" Jazmine sighed as she gazed lovingly at Huey.
"Yeah you are" Ashley replied giving her the fakest smile she could muster.
"But you won't be for long" she thought….
Because of that Ashley made it her mission to have most of Jazmine's parent's attention focused on her and took great pleasure watching Jazmine give her mother and father sad glances when she could barely get them to listen to a story or answer a question of her's before they turned their eyes back on Ashley.
Remember class and keep your eyes on the X over Y method the teacher said interrupting Ashley's thoughts who rolled her eyes she didn't know why she bothered with school she wished her parents would just let her do homeschool like she wanted feeling bored.
Oh well I guess I'll just stare at Huey until the class period is over Ashley smiled to herself locking her eyes on the back of Huey's head….
"So are you sure you want to do this again Riley it's your choice I don't want to forced you too do this" a small pink haired girl asked they were currently in the drama room and she was wearing a ball grown holding a paper filled with lines for the Woodcrest school play.
"yeah nigga as long as all I gotta do is kiss you on the cheek and that's it I got a girl and I don't want her thinking the wrong thing the only reason I'm doing this shit is because you promised tickets to this front row basketball game" Riley said getting agitated and looking around nervously.
He knew he looked stupid in the costume he was wearing but he wasn't one to turned down free tickets especially not for the biggest game of the year.
"Of course I know this isn't your cup of tea but Riley me and the drama department really appreciate this once Oliver films this scene we'll be done with practicing and I'll have your tickets for you" the girl with pink hair beamed.
"Yeah whatever, a nigga does what he can and you swear their Mami heat tickets" Riley said frowning.
"Yes my father is friends with the coach and he's gets season tickets and passes every year" the girl smiled nodding her head vigorously.
"Alright Kelly just making sure aye nigga cue the camera so I can be done with this shit" Riley turning to Oliver who got into position quickly.
"Ready" Kelly said smiling.
"Ready" Riley replied rolling his eyes ready to get this over with.

Cari shifted nervously as she snapped several pictures on her cell phone she managed to snag the perfect picture of Riley kissing Kelly but the way his head was shifted in the picture it looked like he was kissing her on the lips instead of the cheek if you looked hard enough. She quickly sent the pictures to Ashley and ran back to her class before she got caught…
"Buzz, Buzz" Ashley's phone vibrated on her desk she glanced at it with irritation she was so caught up with admiring how nice Huey's hair looked it distracted her from her daydream.
"She snatched her phone quickly checking the text message and almost squealed with delight when she saw the picture of a certain Freeman smooching a girl that was not his blonde girlfriend.
Raising her hand, she quickly got excused to use the bathroom.
Pulling out her phone she quickly added some changes to the picture through a special app that only Photoshop would allow by the time she got through the picture she was impressed with how realistic you could make a picture be what you wanted it to be.
She then pulled out another cell phone this one blue and sent the picture from her cell phone to that phone and then Browse for Cindy's phone number which she managed to snatch Jazmine's phone when the girl wasn't looking.
With thin minutes she sent the picture of Riley kissing the pink haired girl to a certain blonde who would blow up with rage and hurt once she saw it.
"Sorry Iggy it's nothing personal" Ashley muttered to herself smirking deleting the pic off her phone and pushing the other one in her pocket…..
"Man I hope the fries are super-hot at lunch because I'm starving" Cindy spoke pulling her blonde hair into a tight ponytail.
"Don't forget with extra Hot sauce and ketup" Jazmine teased knowing that was Cindy favorite toppings.
"Yes lord" Cindy said throwing her hand up in the air making both girls giggled. Jazmine had just finished tying up her boots when she noticed that Cindy's phone was buzzing.
"Cindy your phone is vibrating" Jazmine said picking up the phone.
"It's probably Riley greedy ass reminding me to buy him an extra cheeseburger text his ass back saying I got you if you don't mind I need to tie up my sneakers" Cindy replied grabbing her Jordan's.
"Okay" Jazmine shrugged opening the text message but her heart almost collapsed once she what was on the screen.
Her hands shook as she gazed at the picture.
It was a picture of Riley kissing a small Girl with pink hair firmly on the lips. "Oh Riley how could you" Jazmine muttered angrily and shocked she noticed that the picture came from unknown number. Who would be so cruel to send this to Cindy's phone but more important how could Riley be so heartless to cheat on Cindy.
"Did you text him back" Cindy asked coming up Jazmine looked up quickly almost dropping the phone "Hey what's wrong?" Cindy said looking concerned once she saw the crazy look on Jazmine's face.
"Um uh, Cindy..um" Jazmine stuttered pressing the phone close to her chest she couldn't let Cindy see this picture she knew ultimate hell would come if she did.
Cindy noticed this as well "Give me my Phone Jazmine" she demanded holding her hand. "Cindy look maybe we should talk about how to handle this before you do anything rash" Jazmine said quickly still clutching the cell phone.
But Cindy snatched the phone from Jazmine's grip who now held her breath at what was coming. "What in the hell is yo ass tripping about…..oh Hell naw" Cindy said looking at her phone before breathing hard her face changed to three shades of red before it settled on the color of tomato.
Her sharp blue eyes gritted with tears before they got pushed back and went startling cold.
And then without a word she dropped her phone on the floor and turned on her heel and left the girl's locker room just as the bell ringed for next period.
"Cindy wait !" Jazmine cried picking up the phone and running after her.
Riley smiled to himself as he held two tickets in his hands leaning against his locker he then placed them inside the locker safely and locked it feeling good he pulled out his phone so he could text Cindy about lunch but he paused when he saw a stressed out Jazmine running in his direction.
"Yo Jazzy you alright" his senses on alert he assumed one of these dumbasses must have teased her about the Rayonna accident again he getting tired of that shit to be honest and he was going to punch the next nigga that said some slick shit about it.
"I'm fine Riley, how could you Riley I'm so disgusted with you" Jazmine said harshly. Riley was taken aback by her cold tone "What the hell are you talking about Jazzy" he responded with confusion.
"Oh please you know what you did" Jazmine shot at him coldly. "The only thing I know is that yo ass is tripping because I haven't done shit unless you want to fill me in" Riley snapped back.
"Here does this jog your memory" Jazmine shook her head at him furious holding up Cindy's phone with the picture of him kissing Kelly on the lips his eyes grew wide "What the fuck is this aw hell naw I didn't even kiss her on the lips !" Riley shouted snatching the phone.
"Ah so you admit you cheated on Cindy then" Jazmine snapped hotly at him. "What…I would never cheat on Cindy I only kissed this girl on the cheek and plus something off about this picture …man look this was for a pla… but Riley never got to finished his reply because a loud scream made the whole school pause.
And then soon after a student's voice yelling FIGHT ringed through the hallway.
"Shit" both Riley and Jazmine mumbled as they both glanced at each other as they both ran down the hallway. Along with a bunch of other students.
Huey was just about finishing putting his books in his lockers when he noticed the loud commotion down the hall he couldn't but help but roll his eyes it was never uneventful day at Woodcrest high. However, he had no interest to care what was going on as he watched numbers of students around him flocked to the main attraction of the day.
Deciding that he would be the only one to head to class he was just about halfway to his English class until a familiar voice paused him.
"CINDY NO CHILL OUT" Riley's voice now carried out. "What now" he grumbled under his breath turning around and following the students to the source of the destination.
"Please it's not what you think" Kelly whimpered shielding herself from being hit by a furious Cindy.
"Then what is it bitch from what I see that it's exactly what it is you kissing my man" Cindy shouted raising her fist and pushing Riley off her.
"Cindy don't" Jazmine pleaded.
"Hit her" a boy with long dreads chimed in excited.
"Move" Huey ordered pushing through the crowd to see Riley trying his best to pull Cindy off the terrified Girl who had now broken down to tears.
Bristling with annoyance he pushed past people and picked up Cindy with great ease off the girl "Chill out" he ordered.
"Omg Kelly are you alright" a girl ran forward toward the pink hair teary eye girl.
"Get your damn hands off me Freeman and mind ya damn business" Cindy shouted struggling to break free from his hold.
"Take her someplace but here please" Huey said sharply to the girl who nodded and coaxed the crying girl away.
"You guys come on" Huey said grumbling mainly towards Riley who looked sheepishness Jazmine just looked overwhelmed and unsure so she didn't ask any questions.
Huey dragged a wiggling Cindy all the way to the end of the hallway and drop her immediately once they were the only ones left.
He dodged her furious swing the moment she popped back up. "Why the fuck did you pull me away" she shot out angrily her face red with heat.
"Yo Cindy chill" Riley tried to intercept grabbing her hand.
"Oh shut up Riley I should knock your ass backwards after everything you told me about me being the only one it was a bunch of bullshit and lies you made me feel so bad for doubting you while your ass was out here cheating on me" she cried snatching her hand back
"I didn't cheat on you, it's not what you think" Riley yelled back.
"Then what the fuck is it Riley please do explain cause what I think is that your sorry ass did" Cindy shouted back getting in Riley face.
Jazmine moved to pull her back but Huey stopped her and tugged her back "let them handle it" he said when she started to protest.
"Look…I …I was just trying to do something nice for us…
" Nice…..Nigga how you gonna do something nice for us if you got ya tongue shoved down some bitches mouth" Cindy said her temper growing even more now pushed him.
"it's not what you think if ya ass would shut up and just listen than I can tell you" Riley snapped back indignantly.
"I don't wanna listen to nothing ya cheating ass have to say Riley matter fact we done I hope that stupid bitch was worth it" Cindy cried her blue eyes glazing with tears but she held them in.
"Lose my number and don't ever speak to me again" and with that she walked off. "Cindy wait" Jazmine yelled following after her ignoring Huey from stopping her.
"Cindy wait please" Jazmine stopped her grabbing her arm trying to turned the crying blonde around
"Look Jazzy I just want to be alone for a little bit ok" Cindy pleaded pushing her away gently. And running off again.
"But Cindy" Jazmine protested.
"Give her a little space she just needs some time" Huey said coming behind her. "Oh Huey this is horrible how could Riley do this to Cindy" Jazmine sniffed turning to him.
"I don't know Jazmine Riley never exactly been bright" Huey sighed. "That much Is for certain and it doesn't help that someone would be so horrible to send that awful video" Jazmine said a little teary as she nestled into his arms.
They were both late for class now and Jazmine honestly really didn't feel like going.
"Video?" Huey asked "Yes someone sent a video to Cindy's phone of Riley kissing Kelly from an unknown number" jazmine answering him. Huey was about to reply when they heard some jeering calls their way.
"Hey Freeman be careful we hear your girlfriend likes pushing bitches down the stairs" A boy now called out to him with three other boys behind him.
He was tall with a football player's built and had soft brown hair and blue eyes.
"I would keep it moving and shut the fuck up if I was you" Huey threatened his maroon eyes flashing angrily.
People was still on that seriously?
"Just ignored them Huey hopefully the Rayonna situation blows over" Jazmine said quietly her green eyes sad.
"Or what you going to get your girlfriend to kill me" The boy snickered. "I said shut up" Huey replied coldly his fist tightening
"Go away and leave us alone" Jazmine snapped at him.
"Shut up bitch" the boy shot back. Huey growled now pushing Jazmine to the side lightly as he begins to advance toward him.
"Huey no" Jazmine trying to stop him.
"What's going on?" Cindy now appeared her eyes were a little red from crying. "Either you leave or I beat your ass until you get the point" Huey said calmly but his eyes were flashing dangerously.
"I'm not going anywhere and fuck that yellow bitch" the boy laughed. "Aye shut the fuck up say some disrespectful shit about my friend again and imma drop kick ya your dumb ass" Cindy shouted angrily moving up with Huey.
"you guys it's not that serious I assure you let's go" Jazmine trying to grab on the two to pull them away…..
Ashley giggled as she turned the hallway as she watched patiently for a crying blonde to turn around the corner. Everything was going perfect and soon Jazmine would be so distracted trying to be a friend to Cindy that would leave little time for her relationship with Huey.
She was almost beaming on her way back to class that is until she saw Huey and jazmine Hugging. Feeling jealously and anger rush at her she ran into some boys on their way to the football field and paid them for a huge favor.
"I said Fuck your bi…"
"Huey nooooo" Jazmine screamed as her boyfriend now savagely began to beat on the boy his friends tried to jump in but Cindy had now joined the fight and was throwing a couple hits herself.
"What am I going to do" Jazmine thought frantically "Stop please" she shouted at them. As she stood stuck debating on whether to jumped in or go get help.
"Ugghhh they were just supposed to get him mad not start a fight" Ashley grumbled slapping her forehead As she hid and watched them.
Thankfully the fight didn't last long because a teacher had spotted them on his bathroom break and now broke the group up.
"that's enough what the meaning of this" the teacher said sternly trying to hold back a resistance Huey and struggling Cindy.
"it's her fault that girl made her boyfriend fight me" the boy said pointing his finger while using his other hand to hold his bleeding jaw at Jazmine.
Wait what was he seriously blaming all this on her?
"He's lying" Huey roared.
"Alright come with me Ms. Dubois" the teacher said firmly "but" Jazmine stuttered "She didn't even do anything this isn't her fault this asshole started it" Cindy yelled shrilly.
"Language Young Lady" Teacher frowned at her.
"I'm telling you the truth besides she's the one that pushed a student down the stairs what makes you think she wouldn't start a fight" the boy argued back.
Huey and Cindy both bristled with rage.
"That's not true" Jazmine shouted back. things for her was just getting worse and worse
"To the office now Ms. Dubois" the teacher ordered. "This is bullshit" Huey spat out. "Ya'll niggas bet not never let me catch you out in the open or it's ya'll asses I promise you" Cindy angrily.
That's enough you two follow Ms. Dubois to the office before it doesn't end well for either of you. The teacher replied pushing the along.
For some reason Jazmine didn't think it was going to end well for her at all….
