By six months a great amount of the Enchanted Forest had been rebuilt and reestablished. There were only three kingdoms existing now. The South (Ariel and Eric), East (Snow and Charming), and West (Aurora and Phillip). The North was now under a democracy. It was predicted that within a few generations, the whole world would be run by democracy. The monarchy system would die, but not from a poor rebirth. But because their time spent in a world that ran itself differently would naturally create itself when the Enchanted Forest evolved.
Belle was one of the two women who announced their pregnancies at Aleera's wedding. She gave birth to Rumple's twins, a boy and girl named Christopher and Sofina. The name Christopher was chosen because it was a logical name choice to go with their intended nickname for him, which was Chip. Sofina was a name from a flower that grew in their world just like Aleera's name. Belle had wanted to continue that pattern. Milah and Cora had chosen Rumple's older children's names. But Belle had wanted Rumple involved and had him pick the flower and decide what full name their son should have as long as it worked with her chosen nickname.
Snow was the other woman who announced a pregnancy at Aleera's wedding. She and Charming had another daughter who they named Anna. That had been another name Snow had considered when choosing a name for Emma. A year later they tried for another child, but Snow unfortunately miscarried. After waiting some time to mourn they tried again and had a successful pregnancy. They finally had the son that David had dreamed of having all his life. The prince was named to honor King Leopold, but his full name was simply Leo. Snow thought it was more modern.
Emma had no plan to have more children. She had never planned to have even one let alone more than one. She and Neal were simply dating for a long time because Emma had never pictured herself married. But they ended up having another accidental pregnancy after being together a few years. David had always been friendly to Neal, but when hearing that this man had gotten his daughter pregnant again out of wedlock, he went to Neal and told him he needed to do right by her.
But he was surprised to find that Neal and Emma had gotten engaged already. Emma had been the one to propose. She gave birth to a daughter that she named with the help of her mother. She had never named anything before and she didn't know what to pick. So she asked her mother, who sat beside her birthing bed, what her grandmothers' names were. So the baby was named Eva Ruth Cassidy. Emma and Neal still used their last names even though they weren't common in their realm.
Emma gave up her claim to the throne but Regina insisted that Henry keep his at least until he reached adulthood and then he could do what he wanted. He chose to keep it when he grew up. Because of Henry's age difference from his aunt and uncle, Snow and David decided to have Henry be King regent when he grew old enough. He would rule until Anna was ready to take the throne, most likely when she married.
But when the time came Anna fell in love with Aurora and Phillip's daughter, Pippa. Gay marriage had never happened before, but had also never been banned. So Anna went to rule Pippa's kingdom with her as the first kingdom to have two queens. They planned to take Leo's second child as their heir. The plan became that Henry would rule until Leo was ready, but Leo ended up marrying Ariel and Eric's daughter Melody. So Snow and David's kingdom would permanently be Henry's. He ended up marrying the female captain of his guard who would not take a Queen title but their children would be eligible.
Aleera had planned to wait a few years before having children because she wanted to get used to being an adult and also she wanted to give her father and stepmother some time to have their own kids before becoming grandparents. When Aleera was 32 she gave birth to her first and only child. A boy she and Jefferson named Quinten. The name was chosen simply because they liked it. Grace eventually accepted Aleera as her mother and she doted on her little brother.
Aleera somewhat took over what Rumple had done for centuries. She helped people with magic. But she did not tax them like he did. There was always a price of magic that could not be removed. But Aleera's price was actual money or goods from the customer's profession. It was based on what they could afford. She also became a trained doctor so she could heal people the normal way along with healing the very bad cases magically. Jefferson became a sales representative of Aleera's potions and spells. When Grace grew up she ended up following in her father's footsteps and made a business using the portal hat. Jefferson had been strongly against it, but Grace had the power within her to use the hat and she was very brave and adventurous. How could he not relate?
Since Quinten had his mother's powers he would often materialize at Regina's side, disappearing from his mother's sight and practically giving her a heart attack. Regina would always send him back with a sweet. He would also appear at his uncle's side and at his grandparents' dwelling. When that happened they had to magically call Aleera to come get him because they didn't have the power to send him. Quinten was the first boy in the family line to be born with powers. Pan and Rumple had come by their powers later in life. Quinten did not gain the Dark One powers that Aleera had, but he had the other powers that she did. He grew to do the same work as her.
Regina and Robin did not have a child together. One of Regina's biggest regrets had been when she took the sterility potion early on in her marriage to Leopold to prevent him being able to impregnate her. It was suggested to her that she drill for water at the dry Lake Nostos, but Regina worried about her age regardless of a cure. She was happy being a mother to Henry and Roland whom she adopted as her own.
She had lost her right to rule for good because of what she had done in the past. But she was fine being Robin Hood's wife. She was a useful addition to the merry men with her powers. She was one of two more female members added to the band. Merida joined as she and Mulan became a couple and they were both warriors. The merry men headquarters became Regina's parents' home where she lived with her husband and younger son. Henry only lived with her half the time as he also stayed with his birth parents. When Regina had married she had told Emma and Neal they needed to live elsewhere. To compromise she let their place be Henry' main home.
Aleera's other sister Liza had three children with her husband Alastair. All of them were boys. First they had one son whom they named Horatio. Next they had twin boys. They had hoped for one boy and one girl so both of Liza's parents could be honored. They named one boy Roderick and the other Robert after Roderick's Storybrooke name because they were not expecting two boys. Alastair was more than willing to have as many children as it took to honor Dora also, he even would honor Dora' Storybrooke name if Liza desired. But Liza desired not. After three children, she was satisfied. Miranda was the female captain of the guard that Henry eventually married. She did not take the Queen title because she had no desire to be despite her love for Henry. But she was fine with her children gaining the thrown one day.
Along with the good, there had been sorrow. There was another Ogres war. Everyone able had to go to battle. It was Granny's last fight. But in this war the fairies stepped in unlike they had in the previous ones. Magical people like Aleera and Regina were what helped tend the tide too. Markham earned the kingdoms' trust and was released to fight. He gave his life. They won and the ogres were endangered and retreated to the uninhabited lands again. The people knew that within a few generations the ogres would be back. But that didn't stop anyone from being happy.
No one had expected things to work out so perfectly or as webbed together. The world recovered from the curse and it prospered. The happy endings were restored. They all lived happily ever after.
