Part 37: Stranded at Home

"Shadow!" Pluto said, "Stop pacing around. You might wear a hole in the floor."

Both Zodiac Knights were in the common room. Pluto was seated on the large sofa and watching some random show on TV. Shadow had been pacing around the room while occasionally looking out the window. Terra was also there and sitting on the sofa too but her attention was mostly on Shadowcobra, who was pacing around worriedly.

"I can't help it Pluto," Shadowcobra told him. "The others should be back by now and I'm worried."

"You don't have to be, y'know? The Titans can take care of themselves, especially Starfire and Raven," Terra told him.

Shadowcobra blushed but quickly concealed it by lifting up his collar. He turned to Terra, "Aren't you the least bit worried that Beast Boy is in space somewhere?"

Terra replied, "Of course I am! But pacing around isn't gonna help anyway."

Shadowcobra only sighed.

The Titans had gone on a mission. They had taken the T-Ship after they received a distress call from a space station. Unfortunately, since the ship only had space for five, the rest of the team had to be left behind.

That, and just in case anything happened, there would be a back up team to handle the situation.

Shadowcobra crossed his arms and muttered slightly before sitting himself between Terra and Pluto.

"Where is Draco?" Shadowcobra asked.

"Where else? He's on a date with Jinx," Pluto grumbled. "Why can't I have a date?"

"Pardon?" Shadowcobra smirked, "Not one of the girls you dated wanted to go out with you tonight?"

"They were all busy."

Terra suggested, "Why don't we watch a movie while we wait?"

Shadowcobra said, "Whatever, nothing else better to do. But let me choose."

Pluto rested his hands behind his head, "Whatever."

A couple of hours into the movie. Pluto's eyes were wide open and his face was as pale as a sheet. Terra was hiding behind a cushion. Shadowcobra just watched the movie without any reaction.

The Movie they were watching was Ju-On (The Grudge), and I mean the original Japanese version. Trust me, besides the Ring, that movie was scary.

Shadowcobra nudged Terra, "You can stop hiding now, it's over."

"Really?" Terra lowered the cushion from her face only to be staring face to face with one of the ghosts from the movie.

"AIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!" she screamed. At the same time her hair stood on ends before she passed out. Shadowcobra snickered. He turned to Pluto and nudged him, only to have the blue Dog Knight fall off the sofa they were on. He had passed out with his mouth open.

Shadowcobra sighed, "Fine, more popcorn for me then." He looked at the unconscious bodies of his unconscious teammates. Slowly, an evil grin decorated his face. "I could have some fun." He cackled.

"We're back!" Draco said as he entered the common room with Jinx. They were both holding hands and smiling. The sight to welcome them was Shadowcobra who was reading a book.

"How was your date?" the Snake Knight of Invisibility asked.

"It was wonderful!" Jinx giggled as she leaned against Draco's arm.

"You really know how to be romantic, don't you?" Shadowcobra raised an eyebrow and smiled.

Draco blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "It wasn't much. I mean, it was just dinner and a movie."

Jinx smiled at Draco and hugged him, "Your company was the best." She kissed him.

"She does love you," Shadowcobra said.

"Yeah," he then saw Pluto and Terra and his eyes widened. He then began laughing. Jinx saw this too and was holding her sides while laughing. Shadowcobra couldn't help but chuckle as well.

Both Pluto and Terra stirred back awake when they heard the laughter.

Pluto rubbed one of his eyes and yawned, "Guys, you're back."

Terra yawned and stretched her arms, "What's so funny?"

Draco and Jinx pointed at them and laughed even more. Pluto and Terra were puzzled and then turned to look each other. Their eyes widened as they shouted, "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE? WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FACE?" at the same time.

Shadowcobra threw them a hand mirror. Pluto caught it and looked into it with Terra. They then realized what had happened.

Their faces had been painted like members from the band KISS. Terra and Pluto seethed with anger and then glared at the three remaining Titans. The looks were enough to tell anyone what they were thinking.

"Who…" Pluto began.

"Did…" Terra added.

"THIS?" they yelled with anger, finishing the question.

Shadowcobra rested his elbows on his knees and his chin in his palms. "I think it's a nice look for you two," he snickered.

"YOU!" they yelled.

"Bye!" Shadowcobra waved his hand before turning into shadow snakes and slithering into the darkness.

Pluto growled, "When I get my hands on that no good snake, I'm gonna make him regret he was ever born."

Terra's grinded her teeth back and forth, "Not before I bury him alive!" she punched her fist into an open palm.

Draco suggested, "You both could wash your faces first." Pluto and Terra glared. Draco sweatdropped. "Forget I said anything."

Jinx was trying to hold her laughter. "That makeup will wash off with some hot water."

Terra and Pluto muttered, "Thanks," and made their way to the bathroom.

"A good ending to a good night, right Jinx?" Draco smiled.

Jinx had an entrancing look on her face as she pursed her lips, "Not yet, hot lips." She then glomped him, causing him to fall back onto the sofa, with her on top of him. She began kissing him passionately. Draco couldn't help but return the kiss. Jinx pulled Draco's goggles off his eyes and began kissing his face. Draco's arms went around Jinx's waist and her arms were slung around his neck. She began loosening his scarf so she could give him small love bites. Jinx purred as she nuzzled his neck and began biting it a bit. Draco gasped. He then turned her over so that she was under him. He kissed her nose and then her lips. She moaned against his kiss as he snaked his tongue into her mouth. Jinx's hands went from his neck to the zipper in the center of his suit. She began pulling down the zip. Her hands explored his chest.

He sure works out a lot, she thought with amusement.

Jinx smells nice, Draco thought as he sniffed her bubblegum pink hair.

Suddenly, the alarms blared. The sirens sounded and the lights flashed red. Jinx and Draco jumped off each other and began fixing their clothes.

"What's going on?" Shadocobra asked as he ran into the common room with Pluto and Terra in tow.

"I'll check the screen!" Pluto went to the TV monitor and activated the viewing screen.

"No way…" Terra gasped.

"Greetings Titans," said the man on the screen.

It was Slade.
