An alternate title could be "The Lore"

"...granted, Twilight already explained how you got together, and we already know how you got engaged, but what was it like before you were together, and what was like during the early years, and-ooh-maybe something in the future, besides the obvious ones like getting married and having children, ooooh, I bet they'd be so adorable, maybe I should have a 'Happy -1st birthday' party for your kid or kids, I mean twelve months sounds about right for the amount of time until you have children right, it makes perfect sense-" Pinkie blathered on right in my ear. This had been going on for about five minutes. I had just now decided to stop it with a hand over her face.

"If I tell you, will you quiet your mouth and stop attempting to break my ear drum?" I asked.

She smiled and sat down on the recliner across from me and Diana. A few others were gathered in the room as well. Twi, Rainbow, AJ, Rarity, Firework, Mac, Luna, and Heart to be exact.

"It would be an interesting tale," Luna noted.

"Hell, the Apple family's always open for a good story, right Big Mac?" AJ said.

"Eeyup."

"In fact," AJ thought for a second, "Applebloom, get your flank up here!" she yelled. In a few moments the younger farm girl was running up the stairs.

"Yeah, sis?"

"You want to hear a story. Will and Diana are about to tell one."

"Ooh, sounds interesting," Applebloom said, before lying down on her stomach.

"Right, well, I guess I'll start," I said, trying to find a good place to start, but failing to do so, "Wait what exactly do you guys want to know?"

"I'm particularly interested on your adolescent years," Twilight said, "You seem like you would have been rather bright as a child as well."

"Any adventures you've been on?" Big Mac announced the idea.

"Or just a sort of shortened autobiography up until your life as of now," Applebloom told us.

I just nodded with agreement and cleared my throat.

"Well, how about I start when I was only a few years old..."

I was born on December 30th, 1998 in Hell, Michigan. It was a rather snowy night, and my mom had missed Christmas due to being in the hospital. I was born two weeks early, since I wasn't getting the sustenance I needed-unsurprisingly. You've all seen my mom. Her pregnant with me was like giving a twig a bulging belly. I was seven pounds at birth, and-sadly-am an only child.

I guess you could say that the very first memory I have committed to memory was a nightmare I had when I was about two. It was a depiction of a giant ant, several times bigger than a house. It gripped me with it's leg and bit my head off. I then awoke in my room, thankful it was just a nightmare.

However, before my first memory, I actually ended up in the E.R. Due to a skin defect that was growing on the back of my right ear. To this day, my right ear is just a slight bit bigger than the other due to it.

Throughout my early childhood, up until my grandmother caught me playing one, my dad let me play M Rated games. Now mind you, that in the early 2000's this was not very common, so I very quickly became quite competitive, despite my shy, lone-wolf personality.

In early school, I had few friends, most of them were just people that hung out with my cousins at the school-Jacob and Jazmine. I quickly lost touch with them as they were very rude people. I could technically say that Kindergarten was when I got my first girlfriend, Riley. She had a huge crush on me, and was very loving. I got a hug every single morning-and on the last day of that school year, a June 24th I believe, she gave me a full kiss.

Up until I was about six and a half, I lived in the neighboring town-Kalamazoo, in a suburban district near East Main. Every Friday I would go to my uncle's with my Mom and Dad and there would be my best friends at the time, Hunter-whom you've already met,-and Everett, a guy about two years older than me. The three of us saw each other every weekend up until I was about ten years old when my parent's friend Steve died.

At around the age of six, I moved into this house here, and started going to the nearby school district. This is where I started to lose the lone-wolf personality I had. I made very few friends, but I could still say I had them, the ones that come to immediate memory are Lee and Micheal, though Lee I lost contact with.

"Wait, didn't we see Micheal at that one diner?" Rarity who had walked in, asked.

Yes, but I never saw him as a very romantic type-so that surprised me. Anyway, once I moved up onto second grade, I found that I was put into a mixed-grade class, so some third graders were in my class as well. So, I made some friends in both grades.

In third grade, I made another relationship with a girl named Kristen. As far as I know, she still loves me, unknowing of my relationship with Diana, and unable to see me from her home in Detroit. She was the longest relationship I had until I met Diana as well. This was also the year when I ended up being diagnosed with a heart problem, known as heart murmurs. The doctors thought it was because of my large caffeine intake-a two liter of Coke every day-but I found out a year later it was actually due to an excruciating amount of exercise from gym class. Sadly, I was forbidden from caffeine for the following two years.

In fourth grade, I hit puberty, which really threw me for a loop. Still going out with Kristen at the time, I started to find myself scanning her body. I didn't realize this at the time, but this trait was going to follow me. There were several times where I had seen Kristen exposed, ranging from seeing up her shirt on a windy day, to seeing her completely naked in her room one time when visiting her house to go swimming.

Fifth grade rolls around and Kristen moves away, making the year quite boring for me, minus the three day trip to the YMCA. Granted, the trip was wasted on me as I did not know how to swim at all then.

In sixth grade I went to my first school dance, granted-alone, and joined the student council. I made a few more friends. Around the back end of the year, I had to get braces due to my canines having grown in over my other teeth. They came off in a year and a half, though my orthodontist still bitched over my overbite. Nothing much. Seventh and eighth grade were no different.

On my twelfth birthday however, was when I got my Barrett Sniper Rifle, thanks to my dad. To this day that gift is one of the best, and sadly, most expensive gifts I've ever received.

However, ninth grade, as you all know was when I met Diana. Over the next year I was praised countless times for what I did to the juniors on that day. I reunited with an old friend from elementary school-Brendan. He ended up with a sophomore girl named Alyn. This is also when another Brendan in my school got together with his wife Aurora.

Tenth grade was when I ended up at my first pool party. It was hosted by one of the more popular guys, Tristan. He had invited me for my recent rise in popularity. His parents had left for the weekend and he got access to his parent's wine vault-leaving just under half the party goers drunk; including Diana. If a drunken Diana whom mind you is very horny during public gatherings, wasn't sign enough, this is the night where I lost my virginity, though some privacy would have been enjoyable.

Move on to eleventh grade and my father ends up starring in a very popular reality-tv show. This is the very first time that any portion of the school besides my friends had seen my father's face, and now seeing where I get my looks from, most were shocked to see that my father made it on a tv show. On a sadder note, however, my grandfather had passed away this year. It was a little saddening, but I was slightly satisfied myself. The old man had lived with me and my parents for several years, and had used too much money and annoyed the ever-living shit out of all of us. Irregardless, he was my last grandparent alive, so this was a little saddening.

My final year of school-twelfth grade-was much better than the last, as I get a scholarship to WMU thanks to my English teacher, Ardis. Near the end of the year, my entire grade went to New York for an entire week. There I met my friend James for the first time in person, as well as my friend Alvin Jarate-I love his last name by the way-and his wife Hannah. Sadly, me and Diana ended up getting stuck in New York with Alvin thanks to his car breaking down and no other transportation available. Thanks to James we were able to get back though.

My first year after graduation, Diana went to Denver in Colorado for college, and I started college myself the year after her, though I stayed in Kalamazoo, thanks to my WMU scholarship. Both of us settled with bachelors in English Literature and Teachings, so both of us are able to be English teachers and I'm a published author as well.

As for the future, I have no idea. With Equestria about to be in our midst, we may never see life as we knew it. I just hope things end up normal after a while.

"You have any funny things happen 'long the way?" Applebloom asked me.

"Oh trust me, there were a few..."

When I was about five years old, it was a Friday, so my family was at my uncle's for the usual visit. You may be asking why everyone visited there every weekend. Well, you see, my parents and their friends liked to play Dungeons and Dragons or Magic: The Gathering a lot, so they gathered at the central location between everybody.

Irregardless, on this particular visit, me and the two Jacobs-Hunter and Everett-had decided to start climbing a tree in the back yard. Me and Everett had only gotten up the first few branches because neither of us were all that strong nor had the stamina to go higher. However, Hunter, having grown up in the ghetto of Comstock, had gotten all the way to the top of the tree.

Now you may be thinking, 'big deal,' right. Well, this tree was actually a pine-sort of like one of the ones at the front of the forest behind this house. It was at least seven stories high, probably a little more-about 74 ft. in the air.

Having climbed that high, Hunter had to get down somehow, so he started climbing down until he was at a safer altitude to jump. 'Safe' is a relative term in this situation. He was still about a story and a half off the ground, so at this point I was about to watch a six year old jump off the top of a roof.

He jumped, but before I could hear him hit the ground, having looked away for a moment, I heard him scream. I thought that he had hit the ground and broken his legs, but when I couldn't see him on the ground, I looked up. He was hanging about five feet in the air, with a branch snagged on his underwear a foot up. Needless to say, when that day was done, he needed about five stitches up his ass. Don't ask how, but he did.

Moving on-at my 12th birthday, I had a friend who fell asleep early while everyone else was wide awake, and I always wanted to try something out. So I ran across the hall and got a large bowl of warm water and placed it down next to him. I then gently grabbed his hand and placed it in. After about ten minutes of us playing video games, the smell of pneumonia floated into the air, which resulted in everyone present to burst into laughter.

About three months later, I had my friends JJ and Hunter over. We were all playing a game called 'Phantasy Star' and were currently playing battle mode. The map had about three seconds left while I was being chased by a monster in the map-called a Delsaber-and I launched a light attack to try and hit JJ behind it, the time ended, so everything stopped, except for my spell-which connected with the Delsaber and killed him-something you're not supposed to be able to do in battle mode. So I followed with the appropriate response.

"Oh my god, I killed a Delsaber in battle mode!" which then prompted my friends to respond with:

"What'd you get for it?"

Just being truthful, I said, "Nine...shitty...experience." My friends started cracking up before I even realized it was funny.

Fast forward about a month, and I was hanging out with my friend Nate. He had a quirk where if he found something extremely funny, he would end up laughing for about thirty minutes. I called them 'laugh attacks.'

This particular visit, I had decided to play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on my Playstation 2, where I successfully pulled off a glitch in the Oil Ocean Zone, or whatever it was called. It sent me all the way across the map, and I instantly killed the boss-finishing the map in approximately eighteen seconds. Nate found this funny and proceeded with his laugh.

Once he was done, we started watching TV, and I had a few cheese-sticks on hand as snack, and when we were down to the last one, I didn't want it, so I let him have it. When he wasn't paying attention, I tossed it to him, and it landed directly in his hand, vertically, and he caught it. In shock at first, he stared at the cheese, then at me, completely bug-eyed, then he ended up in another laughing fit.

When I was about thirteen, my friends James, Joey, Leland, and I were all playing Left 4 Dead 2. Of course, leave it to Leland to not kill a Charger zombie and have it crush him and Joey against a fence, while it throws me several hundred meters into an ocean-killing me instantly. It was more or so, to my expense-but it was decently funny.

"Wow, that's a pretty nice life ya'll got there," Applejack said, "How 'bout you girl?" Diana stared at the cowgirl for a few moments.

"Well, unlike Will, I wasn't born in Michigan. I was actually born in Denver..."

Diana perspective

I'm a little bit older than Will actually, as I was born on October 10th of 1998. Much the same however, it was also snowy where I was born at the time-being in the high altitude of Denver during a cold front-not fun. Me and my parents were stuck in the hospital for about a day and a half more than planned.

Irregardless, when I was born, doctors were surprised by my obvious birth 'defect' which is my golden iris-I'm not sure how it is in Equestria, but this isn't common on Earth. They wanted to perform tests on me to figure out what caused it, but my parents wouldn't go for it-they just saw it as their daughter's little gift.

As soon as I got home, I met my older sister Jessica. She's about thirteen months older than me. She has my dad's silky black hair along with my mom's bright blue eyes, and she was the best big sister I could have asked for. We never quarreled, always got along, and were always at each other's side.

When I was young, I didn't really care for doing much of anything but what I needed to do to survive. I was really lazy as a kid, only sleeping, eating, and the other obvious-however this all changed when I started Kindergarten.

The school I went to was-sadly-a private school. I didn't really want to go to it, but my parents made me, and I didn't know it then, but my parents thought that my idleness was due to my eye defect, which is why I ended up in Dever's School for Troubled Childs.

I was horrified by the kids in their. Some were missing appendages, others had extras, all but a couple were troubled by autism. Their were even a couple of siamese twins. After about a week of going there, I started fighting my parents-arguing that I did not belong there. They saw me not wanting to be there as sign enough that I was much brighter than I had let on-so they swapped me into a public school, which proved to be just what I had hoped: boring and normal.

When I moved up to first grade, my parents got new jobs and had to go on business a lot, so me and Jessica had found ourselves with a babysitter several times a month. Her name was Maddie Underwood. We would have to go over to her house and stay the night, and in the morning she would drive us to the Elementary school then at the end of school hours we would get off our bus at the High school and she would pick us up there. All in all, those years were pretty enjoyable.

When I got into fifth grade, Jessica had moved up to the Middle School, and my mother had gotten a local job, so we no longer needed Maddie as a babysitter, but we still hung out with her little sister every now and then. When our mother got back from her recent business trip, she told me and Jessica that she was going to have another baby. So-nine months later I got my other sibling, a boy named Mark. He ended up with our dad's dark green eyes and my mom's blond hair.

During Middle School, I had started to learn to bake, specifically muffins and cupcakes. I had made about forty dozens of muffins for my school's bake-drive during sixth grade. I had become known for my baking and my last name 'Muff' soon became 'Muffin' to the school. I had special orders coming in from left and right and I made several hundred dollars a week, and this was off of $6 a dozen of muffins. My stride in culinary makings had reached it's peak in the following year, but I still was the prime profiteer in my faimly. My parents had opened a restraunt similar to Dunkin' Donuts next to our house, and Jessica had put fliers up around town advertising the restraunt. All in all, we made a yearly profit of about $18,000, off just my muffins alone.

In eighth grade, my father also got a new job, and Mark started school. Jessica, naturally, had started High School, putting all three of us in different schools. The muffin business was still running, and strong at that, however at the end of this year, my parents had to make a change.

My father's job had decided to move location to Kalamazoo, Michigan on the other side of the country, so it was either we lost his $150,000 salary or we lost my bakery, and they all decided to let me choose. Granted, I loved my business, but I had little time to myself, not many friends, and no grasp of fun, so I said we should move.

We found a decent house near here, and my parents set me and my two siblings up at the nearby school district. Jessica was put into the tenth grade, while I started ninth, where-well you all know what happened early on. My dad had threatened to sue the families of those three boys and my sister nearly drover herself down to the hospital to rip their faces off manually, but what kept both of them in place was finding out who the mystery hero was. I had no friends yet at this point, so when I told them it was a random boy named William Barrett, Jessica started doing some research, immediately finding his Facebook page.

Follow up with next year and you have the year where I also lost my virginity due to the aforementioned party hosted by Tristan. Thankfully it was with Will and I will forever cherish Tristan's house because of that night.

When I reached eleventh grade not much happened. Jessica graduated at the end of the year, and went off to college. I still had one last thing to do however before I moved on to the same.

Finally there is twelfth grade. My mom ended up having another child. A third girl and named her Savanna. She had our dad's black hair and green eyes. Right now, she's only three years old, so she'll be in preschool next year, since our dad wants to give her a head start.

I graduated and went straight off to college, coming back to find that Will still had a year to go, so I got a job as a local mail carrier and being a substitute teacher on the side.

As of right now, I'm an aunt. Jessi is married and has two kids-Mitchel and Grace. Mark is still in only fourth grade, so he's still a small ways away from getting anywhere with life. My parents still live in the house over on MoreHouse Drive, and have actually hired someone to use the recipes I made in Denver to reopen the bakery.

I'm similar in standpoint with Will. I don't see anyway of what will happen when we end up in Equestria. I assume that all will be okay, but as is with everything involving travel and me-it's an assumption.

"There, we gave you some insight on our lives. No more ear drum breaking run on sentences?" Will asked Pinkie.

Pinkie nodded, "But that -1st birthday is still on for your kids right?"

Will sighed and smiled, looking to me with lust, "Yes Pinkie, we can have the -1st birthday party."

The pink-haired party girl screamed in excitement and got set to decorating, while everyone else went on to their own thing-the story being done.

SPOILERS IN AUTHOR'S NOTES, DO NOT READ IF DO NOT WANT THEM!

Alright, so with that done, I have just four more chapters. Now stay with me here, as these will most likely not change. (Don't listen to him, he's crazy. He'd be lucky to keep it the same.)

Expect updates on the following days:

December 25th. The Christmas chapter, titled "The Holidays"

December 30th. The end of a recent ark released then for special reason, titled "The Proposal-Part III: The Wedding"

January 1st. The end of the story as a whole not including the epilogue, titled most fittingly "The End"

And January 3rd. The epilogue marking the true end of A Noise in the Closet, titled "The Aftermath"

However do not fret. If you remember the 'Looming Shadows' self-achievement, "Windy's Will" is not done yet. In case you've never heard me call it this before, which you most likely haven't-this is the overarching name for the entire storyline.

However, thank you all for reading, and of course; Take care everybody.
