Hey guys!

SOOOOOOOO these chapters are getting waaay to long and i don't wanna call them parts so this is no longer part two of chapter 35 it is now chapter 36 and because these chapter are getting so long with too much detail... you guys might be getting like five more chapters... still haven't written all of them out yet so we will see.

I just need to call out a guest reviewer for being kind of ignorant and has made it clear that they have not actually read the story. I don't appreciate you calling my version of Serena a whore when clearly she's just doing what every girl does to get over a break up. She's not sleeping around she's literally just testing out the waters to make sure she's over Darien. But all of this is pretty much pointless now after this chapter.

Happy reading guys!

Oh guys! so a friend of mine from high school got her very first book published on amazon! You can buy the paperback version or the kindle version. The book is called The Spartan Rose I would really appreciate it if you guys went and checked it out! It's a pretty good read if you want to take a break from FanFiction.

Chapter

Thirty Six

A week had passed since their first date and Serena couldn't have been happier. Malachi had agreed that he too was liking their relationship and wanted to make it official so that Friday at school they were in full-blown couple mode. Everyone stared at them and began whispering rumors when they saw them walk by hand in hand stealing a little kiss here and there. Amy was excited for Serena, she knew how bad it had hurt her with Darien and Malachi was the complete opposite of Darien. Mina, on the other hand, was mentally in denial. She was jealous of Serena's new relationship but tried to play it off as her missing Andrew but in reality she was secretly crushing hard on Malachi. Everything about him was perfect to her and she didn't feel like Serena was meant to be with him, so she just kept mentally chanting to herself that this was just a phase but she didn't know if she was referring to herself for her crush or to Serena's new relationship. The problem with this, though, was that it was taking a toll on their friendship. Serena was hanging out with just Malachi now and barely talked with Mina in class… they were having a falling out and Mina was losing her best friend—her twin. The other problem with this… she couldn't do anything to stop the process of losing her friend.

Malachi came over to Serena's house to study that day after school because they had two tests on Monday in their English and Science classes. It was during their break Serena asked if she could change their relationship status on facebook. She wanted to brag and show off her new boyfriend. Malachi agreed and happily watched over her shoulder as she changed it to 'In a Relationship with Malachi Stewart' and posted some cute pictures they had taken at the museum and throughout the past week on their little dates. Serena even changed her profile picture. Not even five minutes after she updated her status her notifications were filled with people liking the relationship change and leaving comments saying congrats, but not everyone was happy about this new relationship.

Andrew groggily woke up to the sound of an annoying ringtone going off on his phone, "It's the middle of the night, what do you want?" Andrew was still drunk from the party he had attended that night and he was trying to sleep it off especially since tomorrow was Saturday and he was planning on going to another party later that afternoon.

"She's in a relationship Drew, how am I supposed to try to win her back if she's with someone else now?" Andrew groaned loudly as he heard his best friend, who was currently overseas and obviously drunk, on the other line.

"Who the fuck are you talking about? I thought you moved on to your lab partner? You know the one who keeps tagging you in those photos?" Andrew was done with is friend trying to play with his little sister's heart.

"Who Anne? She's nothing but just a lab partner who forces herself on me and has a friend who takes pictures at the perfectly wrong time. She's nothing but an annoying little shit lap dog who won't take 'no' for an answer"

"10 bucks you haven't even told her you're not interested" Andrew said unamused as he rubbed his face with his hand to wake up. He noticed some movement next to him and quickly looked to his left to see that he wasn't alone in his bed.

"That's not the point, you'd think she'd take a hint by now that I'm not interested. But can you just find out more on this guy… I've got a bad feeling. I tried calling Lita but she's not answering her phone"

Andrew moved the covers a bit off of the sleeping person next to him and almost dropped his phone in utter shock, "Yeah Dare that's because she's with me and we were sleeping"

"You just cheated on Mina with one of her best friends didn't you?" Surprise filled Darien's voice.

"I don't know yet… I gotta go. I'll call you if I find out anything about Serena" Andrew said and then hung up before Darien could reply. He then began to shake the sleeping brunette next to him to wake her up. "Lita… Lita wake up!"

"What—oh shit… we did, didn't we?" Lita asked after she woke up and noticed that she was naked and in bed with her childhood best friend.

"Fuck my life"

o.o.o.o.o

"He did what?!" Serena heard Raye yell loudly as she walked into the arcade and walked over to the table where the girls were sitting. Alarms went off in her head once she saw Mina slumped over crying and Amy trying to console their blonde friend.

"He dumped me, Raye" Serena quickly rushed over to their table and began to comfort her friend.

"Hey my brother is an asshole and when he gets home I will personally murder him" Serena said after she sat down next to Mina and began to comfort her blonde twin.

"Mina, did he say why?" Amy asked calmly.

"He said he had too much going on at Uni and needed to be alone so he could concentrate on school… but why do I have this gut feeling that he's lying?" The tears poured out as her heart broke in two.

"Hey Mina," Malachi said as he got Serena to move next to Raye and then he sat next to Mina to comfort her, "it's not the end of the world. It just means that he wasn't the one and some other guy will have the lucky chance of making you smile" Mina's heart melted and jealousy filled her as Malachi comforted her. She wanted so badly for Malachi to be the one who would be that lucky guy for her. She then watched as Malachi got up and walked with Serena to their own table.

"That was really nice of you to say that to her, thanks"

"It's hard seeing someone you care about broken and in pain like that"

"You're talking like you went through that yourself… how were you able to move on?" Serena asked curiously.

"Unfortunately it happened during a darker time of my life" Malachi didn't really want to talk about it but Serena kept pressing so he caved.

"Care to share your secret?"

"Fine" he said with a heavy sigh, "I guess it's time you meet my friends" Malachi got up from his chair and held a hand out for Serena to take to help her stand up. The two then left the arcade, Serena making sure she checked on Mina before they left, and headed to unknown territory to Serena. They went to a side of town Serena never even knew existed and she didn't know if she even wanted to be there, but she felt safe with Malachi. They walked into a building and took an elevator up to the top floor then they took the stairs to get to the roof top. On the roof top there were chairs and sofas placed in a circle with a fire pit in the center.

"Hey guys," Malachi said gaining the attention of the people around their age who were lounged out on the chairs and sofas. One guy with fiery red hair scooted over on a couch for Serena and Malachi to sit.

"Long time no see Mal" a guy with hair that was lighter than Malachi's, pretty much a silver grey, said as he sipped from a beer bottle.

"I've been busy Di"

"Oh I can tell… so who is this little blonde you brought to play?"

"Her name is Serena and she's my girlfriend. Serena this is Diamond," Malachi pointed to the guy with the grey silvery hair and then began introducing the rest of the group, "Catzi, Rubius, Birdy, and Prisma over there is Saph's girlfriend… where is Saph?"

"He's out doing a job right now" Prisma answered as she took a hit from a joint. Her hair was died a dark green color and it went perfectly with her pale complexion. "He should be back soon" Prisma then held out her arm to hand the joint to Serena, she took it and then looked at Malachi who then just shrugged and then she looked back at Prisma, "A little weed never hurt anyone" with the encouragement from her words Serena tried to take her first ever hit of weed and pretty much choked. Everyone around then began to laugh.

"Oh Mal looks like you brought us a first timer," Diamond said as he laughed and Serena glared at him.

"It's okay sweetie its always rough the first couple of times but once you get used to it you'll have a pretty damn good high from it and forget about all of the bullshit in your life," Birdie said as she took a hit from a different joint and then passed it to Catzi. Birdie's words had motivated Serena to try again and the second time she was able to take a regular normal hit and then passed it on to Malachi who took a couple of hits himself. Within minutes Serena began to feel lightheaded and her body felt weightless. Her mind was clear and she was starting to feel relaxed and almost tired.

"You want to fight the urge to sleep," Catzi said as she handed her joint to Rubius and Serena did just that. She fought the urge, took a couple more hits and felt the best she had ever felt since she found out about Darien leaving the country and not telling her. Darien was forgotten and Serena was finally able to enjoy her life, thanks to the weed

The entire afternoon was spent playing games like 'Would You Rather' and 'Truth or Dare'. At one point someone had turned on some music and Serena got up and danced with the girls for a bit. She felt like a bond was being formed with them and they had made plans to hangout again and maybe go to the mall together soon. She didn't know how long they had been there for but she did know that she was completely content cuddled up on the couch with Malachi as they stared at the darkening sky, stoned out of their minds. Serena's phone had rang multiple times but she was too high to figure out how to even use her phone so she just left it alone in her pocket.

"It's getting late, I should get you home soon Sere" Malachi said as he began to sit up, making Serena get up with him.

"Well I hope you remember where I live because I am too high right now to remember anything" Serena said in a fit of giggles making some of the eavesdroppers laugh at her words.

"Don't worry I remember… but I really hope your parents have the night shift tonight"

"Oh shit my parents! My phone! We need to go now!" Serena said as she grabbed Malachi's hand quickly said goodbye to everyone and bolted off the rooftop into the building and into the elevator dragging poor Malachi behind her. The building they were at wasn't very far from the Crown and the arcade was a good 20 minute walk away from her house. Serena silently prayed that her high would go away by the time she had entered her house for the sake of if her parents were home. Thankfully they weren't home when she had arrived, so she said goodnight to Malachi with a 10 minute make out session before he finally broke the kiss and practically pushed her inside her house for the night but before he left he handed her a little baggy that had a couple of buds and a small glass bowl so she could smoke later if she wanted to. Needless to say that night she had smoked her first bowl inside of her room and finally had a solid night's sleep without any heartbreaking dreams of Darien.

o.o.o.o.o

A week had passed since Serena had met Malachi's friends and she found herself spending more time with them and smoking weed than studying and hanging out with her old friends. In a way Prisma, Birdie, and Catzi had reminded her of the girls. Birdie and Catzi reminded her of Amy and Raye, Prisma was a good replacement for Lita since she was now away at college and hasn't really been keeping contact with anyone, but there was no one who reminded her of Mina and for some reason she felt the need to find someone to replace Mina. Serena felt like they were getting distant and they kept getting into little petty arguments. She was losing her best friend and she didn't know why.

It was homecoming week and of course Mina was campaigning for her to win Home Coming Queen and Serena viewed this as a way for her and Mina to stop fighting and be friends again. She had spent the weekend at Mina's with Amy and Raye to help make her posters to hang up along the walls at school to let the student body know to vote for her. The girls were hanging out like old times and it made Serena happy for a little bit until she felt the need to smoke. She didn't tell the girls about meeting Malachi's friends and smoking pot for the first time. She didn't want to hear all the judgmental things they would say about them and about her, so she kept quiet about it.

So to fill the need to smoke Serena lied and said she had forgotten something at home. Mina's house was about a 20 minute walk away from home but if Serena ran she could get home in about 13 minutes. When she got home she was happily surprised to see Malachi waiting for her inside his car.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Serena asked her boyfriend after she jogged up to the driver's side of the car as Malachi got out.

"I was actually here to set up a surprise for you, got permission from your parents but I guess this was a bust since you showed up while I'm still here huh?" Malachi said as he nervously scratched the back of his neck.

"What are you talking about?" Serena's voice slowly faded into a whisper as she turned to look at the front of her house. A large heart outlined in red rose petals decorated the lawn and inside little tea candles spelled out 'Home Coming?' Serena wanted to excitedly jump into her boyfriend's arms but she wasn't sure if she wanted to go this year… afraid of what memories she might get from last year's dance. But she was sure that Malachi didn't do this often so she hugged him tightly and told him 'yes'. A few minutes later Serena's phone rang playing the ringtone that was assigned to Raye. "Hey Raye," Serena said as she answered the phone.

"Hey Sere, we're heading to the Crown for lunch can you meet us there? Mina wants to go over spirit week with you and Amy"

"Yeah Raye I can meet you guys there" She said her goodbyes and then hung up the phone, "Wanna go smoke real quick? No one's home and we can do it in the back yard" Malachi agreed and followed her through the house and to the backyard where they lit up. After they were done Malachi drove her to the arcade to meet up with her friends. When they parked the car Serena stopped Malachi from getting out of the car.

"I think I'm a little too high to be around them" Serena said in a fit of giggles.

"I think you might be right, we can wait here for a bit if you want?" Malachi said as he leaned back in the driver's seat and got comfy.

"I really don't feel like hanging out with them anymore… Birdie had invited me to hang out with them today but I had said no because Mina was adamant that I helped her with this stupid Home Coming campaign. It's really not that important… now it would've been a different story if she was running for student council. But she's holding last year against me" Serena didn't mean to mention anything about last year, she didn't want to think about him but it had just slipped.

"What happened last year?" Malachi asked, his curiosity peaked. Serena never mentioned anything about a previous relationship and he was curious if she had ever had a boyfriend before. She acts like she had but she never talks about it and he hasn't heard anything about her around school.

Serena let out a deep sigh… she needed to tell Malachi about him "Let's just say that she helped my ex come up with a pretty epic home coming proposal. I was so embarrassed through most of the week because she made dress up every day for stupid spirit week. She put my brother through hell because he refused to dress up for one day. I'm actually kind of dreading this dance, she'll ruin it for us if she doesn't win Home Coming Queen which is so stupid. I won it last year and it wasn't anything special at all. But she really wants it and I'll give her my vote but I think I'm just done. Being around them bring up memories that I don't really want to think of anymore." Serena let some tears fall as she pulled her knees closer to her chest in the car seat. She knew Malachi was staring at her, she didn't want him to pity her but she had also realized that she had just admitted that she didn't want to be friends with the girls who have been her rock since elementary school. The tears began to fall harder.

"Hey Sere, it's okay, we don't have to go to the dance if you don't want to." Malachi said as he tried to comfort her. She leaned into as much as she could across the arm rest. "You know it's up to you if you don't want to hang out with them anymore, that's your choice and no one else. But do you really want to lose them? Maybe you just need a break from them to find yourself"

"Thanks Mal," Serena began as she wiped the tears away from her eyes "I think you're right, I think I just need some time and space from them…" There was a moment of silence "I want to go to the dance, you already asked me, and I already said yes and it's our senior year… it's kind of a rite of passage you know?" Serena said with a giggle and Malachi agreed with a chuckle. Their laughter was interrupted by the ringing of Serena's cell phone. When she checked the caller ID and saw Mina she sent her to voicemail and then turned off her phone. "This will be off until I have to go home because of curfew. Let's go hangout with your friends." Malachi smiled, agreeing with her choice, then started the car and headed to their hangout.

o.o.o.o.o

"Ugh she sent me to voicemail again! I can't believe she just bailed on us!" Mina was fuming.

"I can't believe that Meatball Head, what is wrong with her? We made plans" Raye wasn't too happy but she was a bit concerned.

"I've been noticing this lately but I thought she was changing back… I think she doesn't want to be around us—" Amy was cut off.

"No shit Sherlock" Mina rudely interrupted and Amy just glared at her and then continued.

"I don't think she wants to be around us because of what had happened with Darien. Lita said that Serena hasn't been responding to her emails either and they were closer than any of us. Maybe we should just give her some space?" Amy suggested and Raye had agreed thinking what Amy had said made perfect sense for their blonde meatball headed friend but Mina wasn't having it.

"Give her space? What about me? Her brother just dumped me pretty much for the same reasons and I just learned to move on perfectly fine. If I can do then she can do it and stop bitching about everything. I was okay when she bailed on me the first day of school to show Malachi around. I was fine when she bailed on me this year when she didn't want to join Cheerleading with me. But she was barely around after my break up and the one thing that I've dreamed about since I was a kid she's bailing. I'm so done. I was there for here when Darien pretty much ditched her and cheated on her in a different country but for some reason she can't be here. She's so selfish" Mina finally vented everything that had been building up since the summer and Raye and Amy were shocked. Raye was agreeing with Mina finally seeing just how selfish Serena had become. Amy didn't know what to think, she was going to give Serena the benefit of doubt but she had a gut feeling that Mina was right… and it truly hurt her.

At school the next day Serena was still ignoring them and avoiding them… which was new. Whenever Serena passed Mina and Amy she didn't even notice them and Mina just glared hard at her old friend. In the classes Mina had with her, she noticed Serena sat on the other side of the room to be as far from her as possible. Mina was trying hard to not let it bother her but the new routine continued on for days. It was now Wednesday and Mina was fed up. So when she saw her walking in the hallway alone, during class, she took her opportunity to confront her.

"Serena!" Mina called and was relieved when she turned around to look at who had said her name but when Serena saw her, she noticed Serena rolled her eyes but stopped to let her catch up to her. "What's your problem?" Mina said when she finally caught up.

"Nothing, I just have a lot going on right now" Serena wasn't making eye contact and Mina noticed she was acting differently.

"Serena is everything alright?" Mina didn't really care she just wanted to get her answers.

"I just want to be alone, why can't you understand that? I don't want to be around you, I can't be around you" Serena looked up at Mina with tears in her bloodshot eyes. Everything Mina had said about Serena she quickly regretted. Something was terribly wrong with her friend and she truly felt like she was losing her.

"Serena, what's wrong? What's happening?"

"I can't sleep… I can't focus without him in my thoughts. I can't be around you guys because all I can think about is him. I forget about him when I'm with Malachi and his friends. I'm not sorry… Mina you and I… the girls and I… I'm done with you guys." Serena then turned around and began walking to the exit.

"Where are you going? You need to get back to class!" Mina yelled at her as she followed Serena.

"I have a ride waiting for me. I can't be here" Serena said and then walked out of the school. Mina watched Serena get into a car that had three different females. Her heart broke knowing that her best friend since elementary school had just replaced her so easily. She buried it and then headed back to class trying to rid of the image of her broken friend.

"Hey Mina… have you seen Serena?" Malachi said when he found Mina hiding in the library during lunch.

"Yeah she left during third period with some girls" Mina bitterly replied trying not to show any care.

"I thought so… she left her phone in her bag in my locker" Malachi said as he took a seat across from Mina at the table and then continued to talk, "Mina can you tell me about her ex? I'm worried about her" this sent alarm bells ringing in Mina's mind and she told Malachi everything.

"And then he paid two of his friends to keep quiet about him going to school in America because for some reason he didn't want Serena to know about it. It was really fucked up how she found out from one of them who had told all of us before we were able to tell her. He's a family friend so be warned that you might see him during the holiday break if he dares to show his face here. Andrew says that he wants to try to win her back but I don't think Serena wants to relive those memories and his Facebook profile isn't helping him out either." The two continued to talk until the bell rang.

"Thank you for telling me Mina, I'll take care of her" but for some reason his words didn't feel true to himself. He felt great talking with Mina, more than how he felt when he talked and hung out with Serena… but she needed him right now and he would be there for her until she told him to leave.

After Malachi left Mina took out her cell phone and dialed a number, "Hey it's me… I think you need to come home soon… it's about Serena"

o.o.o.o.o

The football stadium was filled with current students and alumni who wanted to watch their school kick their rival's ass again this year. The football team was currently undefeated and was first choice to win the championships. The home coming game was later in the season so it was a little brisk outside and Serena had to bundle up in a warm sweater as she cheered on her school with her boyfriend and their friends… even though they went to the rival school but no one had to know. It wasn't until second quarter when Serena found her brother and Lita walking to find some seats. So she called them over and they sat with them for a bit.

"Hey Sere! You look great!" Lita said as she excitedly hugged her best friend. "How have you been?"

"I've never been better! Lita this is my boyfriend Malachi, he's been really great" Serena said as she cuddled up to his arm looking for warmth after she hugged Lita.

Lita looked Malachi up and down and then looked at the couple. They seemed off… like they didn't belong together but they were pretty cute together.

Serena was extra observant when she saw Andrew come up to Lita and touch her lower waist as he whispered into her ear before he noticed his sister was right there. He blushed and then happily hugged her.

"I missed you Sere" Andrew said as he hugged his little sister tightly. Serena felt tears prick at her eyes as she held on to her older brother. She had really missed him and Lita, things weren't the same with them gone, but Serena needed to know something first.

"Are you and Lita together? Is that why you dumped Mina?" Andrew hesitated with his answer, knowing he was caught but the guilt in the pit of his stomach melted when Serena excitedly squealed and hugged him again in a tight bear hug. "Oh I knew you two were perfect for each other! I'm so happy for you guys! And don't worry, I won't tell Mina. Oh Andrew before I forget this is Malachi, my boyfriend, so you can let your best friend know that I've moved on" Andrew looked the couple up and down and he too thought the same thing as Lita… they didn't match together but they were cute.

"It's nice to meet you man," Andrew said with a smile and shook Malachi's hand, "Thanks for taking care of my baby sister while I've been gone"

"It's nice to meet you too—I" Malachi was about to respond when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and when he checked the message he winced. "I've gotta go Sere, I've got some business I need to take care of." He whispered into her ear and when she nodded saying okay he continued to end his conversation with Andrew and Lita, "I actually have to go but it was nice meeting you guys, hopefully we can hangout soon?" and with that said they said their goodbyes and Malachi headed out with Saph, Prisma, Birdy, and Catzi, leaving Serena alone with her brother and Lita.

"So be honest, did you really cheat on Mina? You know it's okay you guys can tell me Mina and I aren't on speaking terms so I won't be telling her."

That took Lita and Andrew by surprise but Andrew told her everything, she was his sister after all and after the bullshit with Darien he felt like he shouldn't keep secrets from her anymore. So Andrew told her about how they accidentally hooked up at a party, blacked out drunk, and then they talked and decided they wanted to date and have been so happy since then. They told her they've been dating for almost a month. They stayed with Serena during the game until the end of the third quarter when Serena found Molly and saw that she was leaving and asked her for a lift home saying the game was boring and she had a paper that she needed to finish writing before the dance tomorrow or else she would never get it done. After Serena left Andrew and Lita quickly found Amy and Raye, making sure they didn't find out about their secret relationship.

"Lita! Andrew! You guys have been here the entire time?!" Raye said as she ran up to her friends. Jed and Zack were with them too. Zack was cuddled up with Amy and Jed was awkwardly keeping his distance from Raye. Andrew hugged his friends, who he missed dearly, and then continued talking with Raye and Amy about Serena.

"What happened between Serena and Mina?" Andrew questioned and the girls just shrugged.

"It's not just Mina, Serena's been separating herself from all of us. I don't blame Malachi but Serena's become a selfish bitch. I just think she's still fucked up about the whole Darien bullshit" Raye answered honestly which took Andrew and Lita by surprise.

"She's been bailing on us when we make plans and she ignores me and Mina during school hours and she doesn't come to the arcade anymore. But I guess that's what happens when you get a new boyfriend." Amy responded as the group walked over to Raye's car to wait for Mina.

"She had stopped responding to my emails about a month ago… was that when she started dating that guy?" Lita questioned, she and Andrew were truly concerned about their friend.

"No, they started dating a couple weeks into the school year. They're about two and a half months into their relationship—" Amy answered but was then cut off when they heard someone yelling in their direction excitedly.

"LITA!" Mina yelled as she dropped her bags, ran and jumped her friend who she hadn't seen since the summer. Lita easily caught the blonde and then carried her back over to her bags to pick them up. The two walked back over to the group, excitedly talking about how much they missed each other. "It's some shit that I have to wait until the dance tomorrow to find out if I'm Home Coming Queen"

"Looking good Mina," Andrew said and Mina blushed as she punched his shoulder and then hugged her ex in a friendly hug. After the phone call they had the other day about Serena they had agreed that they didn't end things on bad terms. "So what did you need to tell me about Serena that you couldn't tell me on the phone?"

"I haven't told anyone this yet but Serena pretty much broke up with all of us. She said that she can't function anymore because of the shit Darien put her through and she can't be around us because we remind her too much of her relationship. She ditched us for Malachi and his friends… she skipped school the other day to go hang out with some girls I've never seen before… and I wouldn't be saying this if I didn't care but… I think they do drugs. Serena seems more than just sleep deprived. I don't know how her grades are but I've seen her in class, all she does is play on her phone. I don't know if she's texting people or if she's just playing a game or something. She also sits on the other side of the room from where I'm sitting. And she refuses to be in any groups with Amy and me during gym class. Malachi came to me the other day and asked about her saying that he was worried which is making me worried." Mina then turned her attention to Raye and Amy, "I know I said I'm done with her but something serious is going on and I think we need to step in. I know her boyfriend is on board with it"

Everyone was in shock of the information Mina had just told them. They didn't know how much had changed and with winter break coming up within the next two weeks Andrew felt like he needed to make a call.

"I'm calling Darien, he needs to fix this"

"I don't think Darien is a good solution to the problem at hand" Raye said crossing her arms over her chest.

"He wants her back, maybe if he could prove himself then that could help Serena" Lita tried to side with Andrew.

"Or maybe we should just tell your parents Andrew. Serena might need therapy with what she's been going through" Amy suggested.

"No, my sister would refuse and would put up one hell of a fight. Darien is the only way we can get the old Serena back" Andrew said as he stood his ground. "I'll go to my parents if things get worse but right now she seems like she's fine. I'm gonna have a talk with her boyfriend to see what's up but until then I think Serena and Darien need to talk so they can just end this on good terms and get some closure. She needs it" Andrew then left to head to his car.

"I'll try to stop him but just keep an eye on her… we need to get back to campus but we'll be back for break." Lita said as she hugged her friends' goodbye for the next two weeks until she came back for winter break.

"C'mon answer the fucking phone!" Andrew yelled as Lita got into the passenger seat of his car.

"Maybe this is a sign he shouldn't know?"

"Lita, I would rather Serena with Darien than with that faired hair headed freak that we just met tonight. Who knows what my baby sister is getting into with that guy, he looks like nothing but trouble and you saw his friends too" Andrew said as he tried calling Darien again. It was the afternoon where Darien was so there was no reason why he shouldn't be answering his phone.

"Okay yeah you're right… call him" Lita said as she gave up when she rationalized everything.

Andrew kept dialing the phone until Darien finally answered.

"Drew what's wrong? I just got out of the shower"

"You need to get your ass back here for winter break" Andrew was on a mission and Darien could hear it in his voice.

"Drew is everything okay? Is Serena okay?" Darien's heart began to race as every possible bad scenario entered his thoughts.

"She doesn't know it yet but Serena needs you Darien" Andrew said as he began to tell him everything that the girls had informed him about what was going on with Serena since the school year had started.
