Hey everyone! The Peppermint Ball is here! YaY! Okay so I got a review asking if I would or could have specific days that I will update on. The reason why I can't do that is because I never know what's going to come up and I don't want to commit to something that I'll most like have to break. My work schedule is always different, plus what I have going on in my everyday life, I think I've been doing pretty good on getting you guys updates as soon as I can, if not I do apologize. This story isn't going anywhere I'm not gonna stop and leave you hanging for more lol I promise.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, Kira, Trish and I stepped back lowering our mics smiling and waving out to the crowd, "thank you so much! You guys have been amazing and so welcoming to me tonight...shall we get on with the real show!?" I hollered out my voice bouncing off the walls of the arena. I was answered with another string of screams and cheers, laughing out loud I nodded, "alright alright! Lets give it up for him then, ladies and gentlemen...Austin Moooonn!" The three of us ran off stage as the whole place went dark and the band struck up to some familiar music, Cassidy was waiting for us off stage gesturing for us to hurry, "great job ladies, Ally you did amazing your a natural at this, Liana is already ready, Ally you need to get changed and ready for 'Cowgirl' let's go let's go!"
The four of us hurried down the hallway to my dressing room, Liana was in there finishing up her make up, she turned to us as we entered smiling brightly, "Alls you were amazing!" she squealed running up to hug me as I peeled off my clothes. I giggled thanking her, "ladies help get her ready meet you two backstage in 5" and with that Cassidy shut the door...I sat in my chair staring at the large vase of flowers while Kira fixed my hair braiding it into two pigtails, and Trish touched up my make up, "Alls whats up?" Liana asked, I met her eyes in the reflection of the mirror, her brow furrowed and she was watching me intently. Giving her my best smile, I shook my head, "I'm fine just a littler jittery from the performance I guess" I lied. Tilting her head to the side raising an eyebrow she shook her head, "that bullshit may work on Austin but not on us girl, what's up you haven't peeled your eyes off those flowers since you got back in here, are you actually shocked that a fan sent you some?" she asked. I closed my eyes and shook my head, Trish and Kira stepped back, "Alls what is it?" Kira asked softly touching my shoulder.
Taking in a deep breathe, "I'm not sure if a fan is what I would call him" I stated, the three looked quizzically at one another before returning their attention back to me. I stood from my seat shooting a quick glance at the small tv in the corner of the room where we could watch the performance that was going on onstage, Austin and the guys danced across the stage as he sang and I could faintly hear the last few verses coming from the speakers since it was turned down low. I didn't have much time until Liana and I had to be back onstage so I just ripped it off like a band aid, "their from Collin" I said, the three of the gasped, "what?! are you serious?!" Trish asked, I nodded, "yea he sent me this note..." my words trailed off when I turned around to retrieve it, "Ally?" Liana called. I spun around searching the floor and under my chair, "it was here," I said frantic, the girls got up and started searching as well, "Alls calm down we'll find it what did it say?" Kira asked as she lifted the cushions on the couch.
I stood up from my crawling position of under the vanity to face my three best friends, "he came tonight, at least that's what he inferred with his note, saying that he was going to be watching" the three of them just stared at me with gaping mouths. "Does Austin know?" Liana asked, I immediately shook my head, "I just got the flowers minutes before we went on, I haven't even gotten a chance to see him since I left his dressing room, I can't talk about it with him right now we're in the middle of a show he needs to focus, shit I need to focus, I'm going to talk to him afterwards I don't want him to worry" I explained. The three of them nodded giving me sympathetic looks, "don't worry Alls.." before Trish could continue there was a hard tap on the door, "ladies your up!" one of the stage crew members called through. I looked back to the girls and they all smiled, "we got your back girlie, now you two get out there and show em' what ya got" Trish urged, I smiled and pulled them into a tight hug before there was another interrupting knock on the door and then it opened revealing Cassidy shooing us out and towards the stage.
The music started up at an easy but rythmic beat, the crowd started to get amped. Liana and I strutted out onto the stage to the beat of the music wearing a black, red, and white plaid long sleeve shirt tied up just below our busts, some tiny daisy duke jeans shorts and brown cowgirl boots, topped off each with a black cowboy hat. The guys stood in the center of the stage with Austin all of them looking us up and down playing the part. They all sported similar costumes of dark denim jeans and but instead of cowboy boots they sported their usual black and white converse, the guys each had on a black and red plaid shirt with black tanks underneath while Austin sporte and black plaid shirt, a white wife beater tank underneath, his black denim jeans and black converse...damn was I a lucky girl.

As he finished his solo he removed his guitar tossing it down to one of the security guards in front.

She leaped up into Elliots arms stradling his waist as Austin spun me around wrapping his arm around my waist, my back pressed against the side of his body gripping his upper thigh ending the pose to the song.

The crowd roared with applause, cheers and whistles, we all broke away from our poses but I noticed that Austin kept a firm hold around my waist, we were smiling out to the crowd and clapping but when I looked up at Austin I noticed he wasn't smiling but more like searching, his eyes were dark as he looked out over the audience scanning. I swallowed and forced a smile on my face as I leaned up to kiss him on the cheek bringing him out of his trance, he blinked a couple times glanced down at me and then out over the crowd again, a smile spread across his face but I could tell it was forced. Releasing me he looked back at the guys nodding at them and they gestured for me and Liana to walk off stage with them staying close by us...what the hell?
...2 hours later...
"Goodnight Miami! You guys were amazing!" The girls and I watched on the tv in my dressing room as Austin wrapped up the end of his concert. "Why the hell did he just change the set list?!" Liana asked annoyed. I mirrored her annoyed expression but I felt more pissed, Austin on a last minute gesture switched the last two songs ending the show with a number of just him and the guys in which sent me and Liana back to our dressing room to wait. I sat in my vanity chair, my leg bouncing in an agitated manner as we watched him run off stage with the guys without even a closing bow. "What the hell is up with him tonight?!" I sneered, the girls turned to me shrugging and shaking their head. Throughout the rest of the show Austin barely spoke to me if not at all, he was always on the opposite side of the stage when we were doing quick wardrobe changes, or he'd be talking closely with the guys or the security, hell he didn't even speak to Liana, and it pissed me off with how distant and cold he was being since tonight was my first night performing.
I stood up, "well whatever it is I'll talk to him about it tonight when we get back to his place, no point in trying to deal with it here he's only gonna keep closed up about it...if there even is an 'it'." The girls stood up and started packing up their bags, "isn't there an after party tonight?" Trish asked, my head fell back as I let out a loud huff, "ugh dammit I just want to go home take a nice hot shower and pass out" I whined. The girls giggled and I couldn't help but join in, but all to soon that was interrupted when my dressing room door flew open revealing Austin and the guys. The four of us stopped laughing immediately when we took in their serious and stone cold expressions, "everything okay guys?" Liana asked, "girls if you don't mind I'd like to speak to my girlfriend in private" Austin said through gritted teeth, his eyes not leaving mine as he spoke to them. I glanced at the girls who looked nervously at me, I nodded and they grabbed their purses and duffles walking past Austin who still hadn't unlocked his gaze from me. "We'll be down the hall Aust" Dez said patting him on the back before grabbing Trish's hand and leading her out and down the hall, "Aus what is it?" I asked quietly.
Stepping further into my dressing room he shut and locked the door behind him, he was making me nervous and honestly he was scaring the shit out of me. "Austin your starting to scare me, what's wrong?" I asked again, again he didn't say anything but instead reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper...the note!
"Is there something you want to tell me?" he asked, his voice low and deep, I swallowed and took a step forward I reached out and took it from his hand, "where did you get this?" I asked. "That doesn't matter, the better question is why you didn't come tell me, jesus Ally he's fucking here tonight have you seen him, have you spoken to him?!" he growled. I took a step back, "what?!" I gasped, "no, Austin I just got the note and flowers right before the show started you were already backstage Elliot and Dez..." my words trailed off and my eyes widened as I looked back down at the note then back to Austin. "Which one of them?" I asked in a menacing tone, Austin's eyes widened a fraction and then narrowed back at me, "that's not the point Ally..." I cut him off, "yes it is! Which one of your friends went through my personal belongings and took this, this was none of their goddamn business Austin!" I screamed.
He slammed his hand against the wall startling me, "you should of told me Ally!" he yelled right back, "when!? hmm Austin? If you didn't realize we were at your concert, you were backstage already I couldn't come find you because I had to go onstage, not to mention you kept your distance away from me the rest of the evening...and well now this explains why!" I yelled. He was fuming, I was livid my chest heaving up and down as I breathed heavily, "my bet is on Dez since he was the last one to leave this room and him and Elliot saw me searching for the note when I dropped it. He had no right Austin to go through my things and bring this to you, I was going to talk to you tonight when we were alone and in the privacy of your home" I snapped.
"You should have told me" he said again, I threw my hands up in the air, "I swear to god your like a brick wall when it comes to talking to you! I couldn't I was being pushed out onto stage and I'll say it again I could never get you alone the rest of the night to talk to you about and again I was going to tell you when we got HOME! I'm not gonna worry you with this shit when there is nothing that can be done about it, you had a show to put on..." suddenly he was right in front of me, "I don't give a shit about a show!..Fuck for all we knew he could have snuck backstage and if Dez hadn't told me I wouldn't have been able to up on the security!" I slowly took a step back, his eyes softened and he reached out to me, I shook my head and stepped out of his reach, "Ally..." I shook my head again. "No, you obviously don't care about what I have to say, you assume the worst, you jump to conclusions, Dez stepped out of line tonight and by you being okay with the fact that he invaded my privacy...so did you." I turned and started to gather my things, "what are you doing?" he asked, his voice clipped and questioning, "I'm going home" I stated. "Home? Ally I don't want you going back there yet.." he began I spun around, "I'm going back to your house Austin shit. But I'll sleep in one of the guest bedrooms," I said going back to my bag.
"What? Ally...you need to understand" but I cut him off again, "no Austin you need to understand that I have known you for 5 months and in those 5 months yes I fell completely in love with you and I love you more and more everyday. But you seem to forget that before you I was able to hold my own, take care of myself...I can still do that Austin I was with Collin for over 2 years and I put up with his shit, yes he is unstable right now and I want to help with that. But you refuse to let me, Becca was unstable hell the bitch broke into my home held me at gunpoint, shot at me, and yet you still kicked me out to have some alone time with her. You got to give her the closure she needed even after what she did and yet you won't let me do the same, I have so much respect for you Austin I do, but after tonight I'm seeing that you don't really have the same for me...I'm going back to the house I'll sleep there tonight and after our dinner date with your mom tomorrow I'm moving back into my apartment." I stated firmly, not studdering or backing down even once.
"Baby please...I don't want you alone, I can't come home with you right now I have the meet and greet and the after party" his voice was still firm but soft, "that's fine Austin, go have fun enjoy yourself I'm not in the mood to party I just want to go to bed. Tonight was suppose to be an exciting night and once again like the rest...it turned to shit" I through my bag over my shoulder and started for the door. His arm wrapped around my waist stopping me in my steps, "Ally..." his breathe was hot on the back of my neck sending a strong current through my whole body, I knew if he said one more word I'd stay I'd drop my bag and leap into his arms. But I needed to hold my ground what Dez did tonight was not okay, with Austin holding it against me the whole show was definitely not okay, I needed some space right now to cool off. I shook my head and stepped out of his grasp, "I'll have Robert and James drive me back..." and without a backward glance at him I opened the dressing room door, "have fun Aus, night" and then I left.
"You sure you don't mind Alls?" Alex asked as I waited outside one of the black Escalades, I laughed, "no Alex I don't mind, go have fun just remember your driving back to base tomorrow afternoon" I pointed out. He smiled and pulled me into a big hug, "you'll be okay?" he asked. I nodded figuring he didn't know about the Collin situation since he had been down in front with security watching the show, "yes I'm just gonna go to bed, now go have fun and I'll see you in the morning" I said pushing him away playfully, he gave me a big mega watt smiling and leaned into kiss my forehead, "night sis". I watched as he walked towards the large tent where the meet and greet was taking place before turning around I hopping up into the car, Robert shut it behind me before clambering into the front passenger seat and James pulled out into the Saturday evening traffic.
"Dude you need to get out there before your sister comes looking for you..." I didn't say anything, I just leaned against the wall backstage staring at the ground, Dallas sighed. "Austin I know you don't want to be here but you need to suck it up and put a smile on your face, your working right now so keep your personal shit between you and Ally," he said. I ran my hands over my face and through my hair, "she was so pissed dude, at me, at Dez..." I began, Dallas came and stood next to me propping one foot up against the wall, "I know man but what did you expect? He's one of your best friends and Ally pretty much looks to all of us guys as brother figures and he went into her room without her permission..." I snapped a glare at him. He raised his hands up in defense, "...hey don't look at me like that Aus, I'm not saying what he did wasn't for good reason he was concerned and that's fine, but he crossed a line tonight and the two of you jumped the gun. I'm sorry to tell you this but after all that has happened, the way you approached Ally about it tonight wasn't cool...and I think you know that," he said.
I nodded in silence, my gaze staying locked on the concrete ground, "I want her life to be normal again Dallas, she doesn't deserve this I love her so goddamn much and right now we both have to keep looking over our shoulders because I feel like someone is going to snatch her away from me." Dallas clapped me on the shoulder, "no one is going to take her Austin, no one is going to hurt her, but you need to stop being a security guard to her and be her boyfriend, she's got enough security, she's got a brother, she needs you and only you," he stated. I couldn't help but chuckle at his remark but I nodded my head in agreement, "I really haven't been the best boyfriend have I?" I asked looking at him finally, he laughed and shrugged, "in the do anything to keep your girlfriend safe your pro, in the bedroom...uhhh I leave that decision to Ally, as for hearts and flowers...lately dude I think you could use some work" he teased. I laughed and gave him a playful shove, pushing off the wall I scratched the back of my neck, "guess I should get out there before Cass sends a search party" I said peeking out the door where I could see the large white tent and a line of fans waiting. "Yea but hey...I'll talk to Cass I don't think she knows that Ally left early so I'll just tell her she wasn't feeling to great and that after the meet and greet your gonna cut out too, it's not like you haven't been to an afterparty before anyway" he said. I smiled and nodded, "thanks bro...well then lets do this" I said running my hands through my hair, straightening my blazer and pushing open the door where Taylor and Ryan awaited me and Dallas.
"Allys' album sold out in minutes, if I had known that I would have arranged for her to be at the meet and greet too!" I squealed with excitement, the group beamed at me, the girls jumping up and down in their spots. "Well as great as news as that is, it's probably good you didn't schedule her since she wasn't feeling good after the show" Trish chimed in shooting a glance at Dez and then Austin. Noticing the quick exchange I ignored it and nodded in agreement, "yea that's true, well for sure your next show Austin, you both will be doing the meet and greet and not to mention I think we'll build a little bit bigger of an opening set list for Ally" I said. Austin smiled brightly and nodded, "that'd be awesome Cass, Alls is going to be so excited to hear that not to mention shocked at her first CD selling out" he stated proudly, Alex nodded fist pumping my brother. I clapped my hands together, "alright everyone, Austin I know your calling it a night give Ally our love and I hope she's feeling better, everyone we got a party to attend to" I said gesturing to the limos.
Austin hugged the girls goodbye, and I noticed he lingered hugging Trish as she said something to him with Dez nearby, the two looked down at the ground nodding slowly as she spoke to them, shaking her head and pointing her finger at the two...hmmmm. Once she and Dez walked away to the limo Austin approached me with Dallas, I nodded off in the direction of Trish and Dez "what was that all about?" I asked, Austin looked back at them as they climbed into the limo then turned back to me "just some stuff went down tonight that I prefer not to talk about at this very moment, Dallas can fill you in if you really want to know right now but I can promise you, you'll get pissed off at me and at Dez, and hell...sorry bro for this...but you'll probably even get pissed at Dallas and the rest of the guys."
I stared at him and then at Dallas who shrugged apologetically but nodded in agreement to my brothers words, "why do I have a feeling that this has to do with why Ally left early?" I asked, the two of them looked at each other then back at me, "because your sharp Cass that's why...listen I gotta get home I'll call you tomorrow" Austin said pulling me into a hug and kissing the top of my head and before I could say another word he was walking away with Ryan and Taylor leaving me and Dallas alone. Dallas through his arm over my shoulder and started to lead me towards the limo, "Centino, start explaining" I ordered, he laughed pulling me closer to his side and kissing my cheek, yes ma'am."
The three of us entered the house, I glanced up the staircase but all the lights were off upstairs, I walked towards the living room and kitchen where James sat on one of the couches watching tv. He was on his feet when we entered the room, "Mr Moon" he gestured, I nodded, "where's Robert?" I asked, he nodded towards the back door, "he's just doing a quick sweep of the back perimeter, I did one of the front after Ms Dawson retired for the night" he explained. I nodded glancing back towards the stairs, "right, well gentlemen I'm gonna call it a night too, thank you for everything we'll see you in the morning" I said, the three of them nodded murmering goodnights as I turned on my heel and headed back towards the foyer and up the stairs.
I reached the top of the stairs and noticed all the bedroom doors were closed, letting out a deep sigh I headed down the hall towards my room to change, I'd go to find her afterwards hoping that she wasn't fast asleep yet. As I entered my bedroom I immediately noticed a small bundle on the bed and my heart skipped a few beats as a small smile spread across my face, I slowly walked forward to my side peering down at her. I could tell she was asleep in one of my button ups without another thought I quietly kicked off my shoes and slid in behind her wrapping my arms around her waist. Her body shifted slightly but she didn't make a sound, I held her close breathing in her scent from her recent shower of strawberries and coconut, placing a soft kiss just below her ear I nuzzled her neck, "please don't be angry with me" I whispered softly. She released a small sigh and I knew immediately that she wasn't asleep, she wiggled around in my arms turning to face me, "I am mad at you" she whispered back. The hint of a smirk played on my mouth as I stared down at her beautiful face, one arm wrapped tightly around her waist as the other lay across the pillow above her head playing with strands of her hair. "I shouldn't have come at you the way that I did...I'm sorry" I said looking down at the small patch of sheet that was between us, two soft fingers tilted my chin up til my eyes met hers, "I would never keep something from you Austin" she stated, I swallowed and nodded, "I know, I just lost it when I realized he was somewhere out there...w-watching you and there was nothing any of us could do about it" I said.
Ally sighed scooting closer to me and closing the distance between our bodies, "you can't control everything Austin, and if you keep trying it's only going to drive you insane...it's starting to drive me crazy a-and...and I don't want it to drive me away" she said in barely a whisper. My heart stopped for a moment at her words and the mere thought of loosing her due to my actions, "I don't want to loose you" I whispered tucking a strand behind her ear, she closed her eyes tucking her head under my chin and wrapping her arms around my body. "I don't want to leave you Austin, but please leave the security and protecting to the security, just be Austin the outgoing, fun, loving, and crazy man that I fell in love with. I feel my best, my happiest, and my safest when I'm with you and we're being just...us" she explained. A grin spread across my face and I leaned in placing a soft kiss on her face, "I love you" she hummed into the kiss, "I love you too" she replied.
I pulled away a fraction to look down at her, "thought you were going to sleep in one of the guest rooms?" I asked, she raised and eyebrow at me and pouted, "the thought of being in one of those rooms where other women have been kind of made my skin crawl, this is my territory this is my room" she stated, the biggest smile spread across my face as I pulled her close to me, "this just isn't your room Alls, this place..." I said gesturing around us, "this house...it's your home now...I w-want it to be your home" I said quietly. Ally's face dropped as she swallowed, "a-are you asking me to move in?" she studdered, it was my turn to be nervous as I slowly nodded, "I know we've only known each other for a few months but Alls I love you, I don't think I've ever loved someone as much as I love you, I can't see or picture a future without you in it...s-so yea I'm asking you if you would move in with me."
She rolled off her side and onto her back rubbing her hand across her forehead, "move in with you...wow" she said aloud although I think it was meant to be to herself so I kept quiet and just nodded. She glanced up at me as I sat up on my elbow gazing down at her, "Austin I do love you...b-but like you said we havn't known each other that long, and with everything that is going on right now I don't think it would be the right time." My heart dropped a little but then I repeated her words in my head, "but your not saying no?" I asked hopeful, she gave me a small smile and shook her head, "no I'm not saying no and I'm not saying yes, I'm just saying not yet." I smiled down at her and nodded, "I can take a not yet, because it's far enough from a no and a step closer to a yes" I smirked, she giggled and pulled me down into a kiss.
"I have an idea" I said between kissed, "mmmm and what's that?" she asked pulling away an inch, giving her a quick peck I returned to my position on my elbow and rubbing my hand up and down her back beneath my shirt. "I'm going to call my parents tomorrow for a change of plans on dinner, we're gonna have them come here, along with my sister, the whole gang and some other close people of my family for a BBQ" I stated proudly. Ally's eyes widened as a smile spread across her face, "really? You think that'll be a good idea?" she asked, I nodded, "I think it's a better idea, you and my mom will be more in your element of having people you know and love around you, she can see how you really are in your true colors, and to be honest we all need some let go down time. I was just telling Dallas tonight how I want us to just have a normal life and since we can't have it all year around I want us to be able and take advantage of it when we can. The weather has been amazing this past week for it being December so yes we're going to have a BBQ and just enjoy the end of our weekend like any normal American would do" I said, Ally just continued to smile at me and with a quick shift she was on top of me holding my wrists down at the side of my head, "best idea ever Moon" she said before crashing her lips to mine.
"Hello hello! We're here!" Cassidy's voice echoed from the foyer, "In the kitchen!" I called out as I poured my home-ade salsa out of the blender and into a bowl. Cassidy and Dallas walked in carrying a grocery bag of food and a case of beer, "hey!" she greeted happily, I smiled and wiped my hands on a nearby towel, "hey! Dallas go ahead and take the beer outside, everyone is hanging out outside" I said. Giving me a quick one arm hug he headed towards the back door while Cassidy and I started unloading the grocery bag, "so are you ready for this?" she asked taking a perch on one of the stools as the island. I shrugged and nodded, "yea I'm a little nervous I'm not gonna lie, I mean the last time I saw your mom she was calling me a gold digger, but I mean she wants to give it another shot and I really want to get along with her Cass."
"When she really sees who you are Alls she's going to love you, and when she sees how happy you make Austin, I think she'll want to adopt you" she said giggling, I rolled my eyes and swatted her with a towel laughing. "Ally!" Cassidy and I spun around at the sound of Liana's voice, "in the kitchen" I called out again, Cass and I looked at each other confused at the frantic tone in her voice. She came sliding into the kitchen with Kira on her tail, "whats up?" I asked, striding over to the island she slapped down a few magazines, "that bitch actually did it!" she snapped. I looked at Cassidy then leaned over grabbing one of the magazines my eyes widened: Austin Moon Father To Be? A picture of Austin singing on stage was the cover with two small circle photos one of me and one of Brooke with small subtext: Whose The Mamma To Be, find out inside. "I can't believe this!" Cassidy yelled, I looked up at her then grabbed another magazine, Ex-Girlfriend To New Girlfriend To New Baby on the Way, Austin Moon wastes no time, and the third magazine was a cover photo of Brooke smiling brightly on a red carpet her hand laying atop her stomach where a small petruding bump could easily be seen by the public in the corner of the cover was a small photo of Austin and I being escorted out of a club surrounded by paparazzi. Pretty much with that photo, the one of Brooke and the title of the magazine, it didn't make Austin look good at all and I was pissed: Brooke Stephens Preganant! Is Austin Moon the Father? I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe, "Ally?" Kira asked, I shook my head re-opening my eyes I gathered up the magazines and placed them on top of the fridge, "not today, we're not talking about this today, Austin wants a normal fun day for all of us, we're going to have that," I stated. The three of them nodded in agreement, "Cass your our manager, if you could stay a bit later after everyone leaves tonight so we can talk about this?" I asked, she nodded, "of course absolutely Alls" I gave her a small smile, "thanks."
We all jumped when the sound of doorbell chimed and echoed throughout the house, "that'll be my mom and dad" Cassidy said looking at me, I let out a deep breathe and nodded, leaning off the counter I walked down the hall to the front door. Taking a deep breathe I closed my eyes and pulled open the door, Mimi and Mike stood on the front step with a bottle of wine and a cake, "Ally! It's so good to see you again!" Mike said happily, I smiled warmly at the two, "it's wonderful to see you guys please come in" I greeted opening the door wider and stepping back to let them in. Mimi smiled at me and walked in first, I could feel the nervous tension between the both of us so I made the first move of breaking it, "that looks delicious Mimi, let me take that for you" I said gesturing to the cake in her hands, she smiled brightly handing it over, "thank you Ally, I didn't want to come empty handed and of course Mike being Mike always has to bring a bottle of wine" she teased looking at her husband, I giggled and nodded towards the kitchen and living room. "Well lets get these to the kitchen, Austin and everyone are out back I was just about to get all the meat ready for the burgers" I explained as the three of us walked down the hall towards the kitchen.
"There's beer and margaritas outside, or I could open up a bottle of wine what would you guys like?" I asked, Mike gestured his head out back, "I'm gonna go get a beer and join the men...you ladies get more acquainted" he said with a gentle smile. Mimi rolled her eyes, "way to make it obvious Michael..." turning back to me she laughed and shook her head, "I'll take a glass of wine Ally thank you" I nodded and walked over to one of the cupboards retrieving two glasses, "I think I'll join you." I popped the cork, pouring two glasses and handing her one, I then went to work at pulling out two plates covered in plastic from the fridge, "what's that?" Mimi asked. I smiled brightly taking a sip of my wine and pulling the plastic off, "these are hamburger patties that I made from scratch" I said. Her eyes widened a little as she smiled, "wow really?" I nodded, "I buy regular ground beef, then I chopped up garlic, onions, added parsley, salt, pepper couple other seasonings meshed them all together, then I stick a sliver of butter through the middle so that when their put on the bbq, it'll melt in the middle but brings all the flavors our more and not to mention will make the burgers super juicy" I explained.
Mimi's eyes were wide, she nodded and took a long sip of her wine, "that sounds absolutely delicious, where did you learn to cook?" she asked, I shrugged my shoulders, "I pretty much just taught myself, started experimenting in the kitchen when I was in middle school and it just took off from there, aside from dancing and performing it's one of the things that brings me to ease, you know comforting" I said sticking the last sliver of butter into the last patty. Mimi smiled brightly, "you are a very talented young woman Ally...we're alone right now and I have a feeling this is the only chance we're going to be alone this evening because I'm pretty my son is itching to come in here to make sure I'm not strangling you" she teased, I gave her a small uneasy smile taking a big gulp of my wine. "I'm sorry Ally..." I stopped mid-sip to look at her, slowly lowering my glass I swallowed and nodded as she continued, "I shouldn't have treated you like that, it was rude, inconsiderate, and wrong on so many levels. I see how happy you make my son and if I'm going to be completely honest as much as I adored him being with Brooke I never saw him as happy and care free with her the way he is with you. He acts his age, he's so smitten by you and it truly warms my heart, I've watched all of his concerts and the way you two move with another it's not like a performer with his dancer, it's two people in love you two move together like one, and the way Cassidy talks about you two...I just want to apologize for what happened between the two of us and I want to thank you for all that you have done for my son."
I walked around the island and did the only thing I could think of, I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her, "I do love him Mimi so so much" I whispered into her hair, she wrapped her arms tightly, "I know, please take care of him" she whispered back, both our voices shaky with tears. We both pulled away laughing wiping away a few tears, "clean new slate?" I asked, she smiled and nodded, "clean new slate" she repeated. The back door opened and Elliot stuck his head in, "hey Alls, those patties ready, Austin said the grill is ready for them" he asked, I nodded, "coming right out" I replied turning to grab the two plates of patties, "I'll get your wine" Mimi said standing from her stool and grabbing my glass off the counter along with the bottle of wine.
I looked up from the grill when Elliot walked back with Ally and my mom right behind them and the scene in front of me made my heart swell, the two of them were laughing and talking as they walked out. "Here ya go babe" Ally said handing me a plate of patties and setting the second down on the grill, I leaned down placing a kiss on her lips, "everything okay?" I asked quietly against her lips, she smiled brightly and nodded giving me another quick kiss, "everything is great" she replied. I smiled and took the plate, "damn these are huge Alls" Dez said, she giggled and shrugged, "you'll love them" she stated casually before turning around and joining my mom and the girls sitting around on the patio furniture talking about everything and nothing.
"I think i'm good until Christmas with how much I ate tonight" Alex said patting his stomach and standing, "well everyone it's about time I head out I still got a long drive ahead of me back to base and I've procrastinated enough" he said as we all stood. "Mr and Mrs Moon it was great to meet you" he said shaking their hands, "it was a pleasure meeting you too Alex, take care and if we don't see you before you leave please be safe out there" my mom said pulling him into a hug, I looked down at Ally who was beaming at the two, I smiled and pulled her into my side. "Take care of my baby sis, I'll see you guys in two weeks for Christmas" he said pulling me into a hug, I patted him on the back, "you got it bro, we'll see you" he smiled and pulled Ally into a bear hug kissing the top of her head whispering something into her ear. She closed her eyes and nodded holding him a little tighter before letting him go, "I'm gonna walk him out be right back" she said I nodded, "yea it's getting late and we gotta be up early tomorrow" the guys said as the girls collected their purses. "Alright we'll see you guys tomorrow morning" I said shaking all their hands and giving the girls hugs, "should we head out to sweetie we don't want to keep you guys up to late" my mom said, "no no Mom, you guys should stay we have a lot to talk about" Cassidy chimed in. I stared at her confused, she gave me a quick glance smiled and then started gathering glasses, my mom started helping carrying them back into the house...what was that about?
Cassidy flopped down on the couch next to me across from my parents, "soooo what was this 'a lot to talk' about you were referring to Cass?" I asked looking at her as Ally walked into the living room from finishing up in the kitchen. Cassidy glanced at her then at my parents, Ally sat on the arm of the couch beside me I lifted my arm wrapping it around her waist turning our attention to Cass, "well as your manager and your sister, I think mom and dad should know about what's been going on." My whole body tensed up at her words, "Cassidy.." I warned, but Ally placed a hand on my arm, "it's not what you think Aus" she said, I glanced up at her in question, "what's going on girls?" Mike asked. Cassidy nodded at Ally who got up and disappeared back into the kitchen, a few seconds later she returned and dropped some magazines on the coffee table, I leaned forward along with my parents and I felt my whole stomach drop.
It took about an hour in a half to explain everything that was happening with Brooke, and when Cassidy and I got to the part about what she said on Thanksgiving night my mom about lost it..."That little slut! Who does she think she is, trying to get my son to throw away his life and relationship for an evil, lying, caniving..." "MOM!" Cassidy jumped in, "calm down, we had a feeling she was going to come out to the public with this, I guess a part of us just hoped she would deny it being Austins" she said. "Yea but if you read the articles, she never said it's Austin's she's beating around the bush, saying they have a rocky past, things are up in the air, she never actually says 'yes Austin's the father' but she's still in the wrong of not correcting the media when they say it's Austins," Ally chimed in. I wrapped my arms tightly around her waist as she sat on my lap, my mom raised her hands, "I know I know, we just need to figure out how we're going to go about this, you two are going to be bombarded with questions...should you set up an interview or what?" she asked looking at the two of us. I glanced up at Ally who peered down at me and shrugged, "I'll do whatever you need Austin" she said, giving her a small smile I kissed her shoulder and turned to Cassidy who was clicking around on her phone, "what do you think Cass?" I asked.
She sighed and stuck her phone back in her pocket, "well my phones been blowing up all afternoon with unknown numbers so I know it's the media looking for a statement, honestly I say for right now until I can sit down and talk to Johnathan you two continue on with your usual routines. If your asked any questions you just keep it cool, security will be with you to try and keep them at bay but if they do get through just keep it simple, you know the truth so there's no reason to lie" she explained. Ally and I both nodded, "but Austin, you need to keep your cool their going to get mean their going to take jabs at Ally ... you need to stay cool got it?" she asked pointedly, I sighed and nodded, "got it." My mom and dad nodded, "we're behind you 100% son, whatever you guys need from us we're here" my dad said, I smiled "thanks dad," he nodded, "well we're gonna get going" he said. Ally stood up off my lap with me in follow, I kissed my mom goodbye and shook my dads hand, "I'm gonna go get some air" I said to Ally as she started to follow them down the hall, she didn't say anything but nodded rubbing my arm.
"Call us if you need anything absolutely anything okay?" Mimi said hugging me, I nodded "we will Mimi thank you so much" she pulled away smiling warmly, "I'll see you next weekend, have you gotten a gown yet?" she asked. I shook my head, "no Cass and I were actually going to be go shopping this week for them, her face lit up, "oh I would love to come along" she said excitedly, I nodded "I'd love that, like I said it's my first ball so having the opinion of two pros will probably be best" I said giggling. She laughed and nodded, "you call me with the details and I'll be there" she said hugging me again before being escorted to the car by my Mike.
I walked back into the kitchen where Cassidy was gathering up her things, "well I think all my work is done here, Austin headed out back he's going to need you Alls" she said, I sighed and nodded, "I know, I really was hoping she wasn't going to do this" I said sadly. Cass nodded, "me too, I was hoping that Brooke Stephens was actually going to have a small piece of a heart or some humanity but once again she proved me right on how much of an evil bitch she really is" she said. I let out a snort of a laugh, Cassidy grabbed her coach purse and blackberry, "I'll see you two tomorrow, and we'll talk details on our shopping date" she said, I nodded "oh your mom wants to come along with us" I stated. Cassidy giggled shaking her head, "told you she'd fall in love with you, but awesome I've always wanted a sister so a shopping date with my mom will kind of complete that" we both laughed and I walked her to the front door.
"Ms Dawson...I mean Ally backyard is all cleaned up, the guys and I are going to retire for the night, is there anything else you need?" Ryan asked, I shook my head and started turning off the lights in the living room, "no we should be good for the night, thanks Ryan and I'm glad you guys joined us today" I said smiling at him. He grinned back, "it was a good day thank you for inviting us, it was nice to lay back for the day" he said, I smiled and nodded, "well then goodnight Ms Dawson," "goodnight" I replied, he shut the back door and I watched as he walked across the patio towards the guest house. I walked to the back window and gazed out until my eyes landed on his figure standing at the edge of the grass looking over the sand towards the beach, sliding open the door I walked out and made my way around the pool and across the grass to where he stood.
He had his hands stuffed in the pocket of his jeans and he was just staring up at the stars, "hey" I said quietly walking up beside him, he looked down at me and smiled, "hey" he replied then looking back up at the sky. "You okay?" I asked, he sighed and shook his head, "no, my first instinct is to flip out on her...but then I think of you and I find myself actually thinking of my actions before making them" he said. I nodded and interlaced our fingers, leaning against his arm, "we're going to be okay Aus, your going to be okay" I said quietly, he nodded and kissed the top of my head, "I wouldn't be able to get through this without you Alls...I love you" he whispered, I smiled and glanced up at him standing on my tip toes, "I love you too" I said kissing him.
"Come on lets head inside" he said turning around and pulling me along side him, we were walking around the side of the pool when an idea popped into my head, I stopped in my tracks my hand slipping out of Austins. He turned around when he noticed, "what is it?" he asked, I smirked at him and stepped out of my sandals pulling my shirt over my head. I heard his sharp intake of breathe, "baby what are you doing?" he asked, I only continued to smirk at him as I unbuttoned the top button of my jeans and unzipped the zipper, not taking my eyes off his I slowly slid them down my legs leaving me in just my white satin bra and white booty shorts. "You said you wanted to have a fun, care free day, I'm not gonna let Brooke Stephens ruin that for us, so Moon you up for some skinny dipping?" I asked quirking an eyebrow at him as I reached behind me and unclasped my bra letting the straps fall slack on my arms.
Austin closed his eyes, and from the lights on under the patio it barely lit up the side of his face where his whole jaw tensed up, when he re-opened his eyes, they were dark and hooded and the smirk only grew across my face as I let my bra fall to the ground. Austin through off his shirt and tore off his jeans leaving him in his boxers and me still in my booty shorts, "you want to play Dawson, lets play" he said in a deep voice. I took a step back away from him but before I could turn and run a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and soon we were both in the air before luke warm water surrounded our bodies. I surfaced brushing my hair back giggling, I opened my eyes to see Austin swimming up to me his eyes sparkling and a beautiful smile painted on his face and I could help but smile just as big back at him. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me to his chest, I ran my fingers through his hair slicking it back, lacing my fingers behind his neck I pulled him into a kiss, "you make me so happy" he whispered against my lips, I smiled and nodded, "you make me complete" I whispered back as Austin pulled me closer and cornered me against a wall in the pool.
The week had been hectic and crazy for all of us, every morning paparazzi camped out outside of the studio waiting for Ally and Austin, and they were there when rehearsal was over. The same questions were asked over and over, how far along is Brooke? When did she tell you? Did you cheat on Ally, getting Brooke pregnant? Ally what are your thoughts? Are you pregnant too? Majority of the questions were answered with no comments and a couple Austin was able to stay calm and answer truthfully that he is not the father of Brooke's baby, that he's never cheated on Ally. But I would have to say I was the most proud when Ally got bombarded and she answered with, "I know the truth and I will stand by Austin through anything."
Wednesday afternoon Ally, myself, and my mom all went shopping for our gowns for the ball and of course we were followed by the media but thanks to Robert, James, and Taylor they weren't able to get close enough to ask once again the same questions that they've asked all week long. Austin was pissed when he found out that they followed us but after some explaining and whatever magic Ally has on my brother to calm him down he let it go, and now today the two of us girls were currently getting ready down the hall in one of the guest room for my parent's Peppermint Ball.
Aside from all the hussle and bussle of Brooke rehearsals were still running smoothly, Ally was getting a little recording time for her first official single, her demo CD had sold out in minutes at Austin's last concert so since we were upping her set list and adding more to the show Austin and Ally were becoming a package deal both off and now on the stage. Johnathan and I were working on some awesome ideas for the two and since Austin didn't have another show until after the new year we hoped we could get them set in stone and ready to deliver the news to them.
I looked up from the vanity where I was finishing my make up when the bathroom door creaked open and Ally walked out in her gown, "oh my god Ally you look absolutely gorgeous!" I squealed jumping up from my seat. It hugged her figure perfect and when my mom and I saw it we knew it was for her, it was a rich red satin strapless mermaid gown that flowed out from her thigh, a silver, sequin and rhine stone emrbroidered design spread up the side, but my favorite was how the whole dress draped down into a train where another embroidered design met at the hem of the red satin and a beautiful white under layer that trailed behind her. "You really think so?" she asked nervously straightening out the material of her dress, I smiled and nodded immediately, "Ally your going to steal the show tonight" I said. Her cheeks blushed as she smiled at me, "come on take a seat lets get your make up and hair done" I instructed gesturing to the vanity, she sighed and nodded taking a seat as I began curling and twisting her hair to perfection.
45 minutes later Ally's hair was all curled and pinned to one side so it flowed artfully over one shoulder, her make up was light and simple, mascara across her dark thick lashes making her eyes pop, and a matching shade of her dress of lip stick covered her heart shaped lips. "Perfect" I stated taking a step back, "you ladies just about ready?" Austin's voice called out from the end of the hall, I rolled my eyes making Ally giggle as I walked across the room to the door, peeking my head out so he couldn't see my dress or Ally, "hold your horses little brother we're almost done, 5 more minutes" I said. Austin rolled his eyes, as Dallas laughed patting him on the shoulder, the two both sported black dress pants, white dress shirts, Austin had a red vest on, while Dallas wore a black one. "Come on man, we'll be downstairs Cass" he called over his shoulder as the two headed down, I laughed and shut the door, "alright shoes, perfume and selfie photo then we'll be ready" I said, Ally laughed and nodded getting up to grab her ivory white strapped heel as I slipped on a pair of red pumps to accent my white strapless high slit mermaid gown, and a pair of red ruby earrings and matching necklace.
"5 more minutes always means 30" I said grabbing my black blazer off the back of the couch and slipping it on, Dallas laughed as he buttoned his own up, "yea but when we see the ending result it's always worth every second" he stated, I chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Alright! We're coming!" Cassidy's voice echoed from up the stairs, we both laughed and made our way into the foyer as Cassidy was coming down the stairs, I heard Dallas gasp behind me and I smiled brightly up at my sister as she descended the stairs. "You look gorgeous Cass" I said, she smiled and kissed me on the cheek as Dallas wrapped his arm around her waist, "you look beautiful baby absolutely beautiful" he said in awe making her blush.
There was movement at the top of the stairs and I tore my gaze away from my sister and friend landing it on the most gorgeous being I ever laid eyes on, "wow" Dallas breathed out as she descended the stairs, "I know she looks amazing doesn't she" Cassidy stated proudly. My words were completely lost so all I could do was nod as she came to the bottom of the stairs. "Hi" she said shyly, "gorgeous" is what I responded with, Ally giggled looking down at the ground, I tilted her chin up to look at me wrapping other arm around her waist and pulling her to me, her hands held onto my biceps, "you look gorgeous" I said. Ally smiled leaning up to kiss me, "come on love birds" Cassidy giggled pulling Dallas towards the front door, I tucked Ally's arm in the crook of mine and escorted her out of the house where the two black Escalades waited for us.
My parents backyard was unrecognizable, a large sheer white tent was set up across the lawn, filled with large round tables, a stage set up at the far end, with a white marble dance floor set up in front of it. Chandeliers hung from the wooden beams giving off a warm soft glow, the tables were draped in red and white linens with centerpieces consisted of four crystal cylinders each a different height filled with candy canes, peppermints, and red and white rhinestones. Music could be heard from the current live band that was playing a cover song by Frank Sinatra, "oh my goodness this is beautiful" Ally said in awe from beside me, I held her close as we walked down the steps towards the party. "Austin! Cassidy!" we all turned to see my mom and dad walking over to us, my dad sported a black and white tux, with a red tie, and my mom was in a bright red ball gown with a white lace cover. "Oh you all look wonderful! Boys so handsome and oh my goodness Cassidy, Ally you girls look just magnificent!" My mom gushed, I smiled brightly down at Ally who was blushing like crazy from my mothers compliments.
"Come we'll show you where our table is, your sitting with us, your aunt Riley, uncle Ron, and Rocky and Riker" she explained, we nodded and followed. I had to surpress from clobbering my two cousins when it came to introducing Ally to them, both having to grab her hand and kiss it and Rocky being Rocky asked her for a dance for later on in the night. Ally giggled and looked up at me I shook my head and shrugged, she agreed as I pulled her back under my arm. "Well kids enjoy yourselves, we're doing dinner buffet style this year so people can dance and do as they please" my mom explained, we all nodded and I turned my attention to Ally, "dance with me" I said she smiled and nodded as I led her out onto the marble dance floor I noticed all the eyes on her and I was proud to know that she was coming and leaving with me tonight.
I through my head back laughing, Cassidy had her head down on the table her body shaking from laughing so hard, while Dallas took a napkin wiping away the sauce that had some how ended up on his forehead. Austin shook his head laughing, his arm draped over the back of chair, "dude, between you and Dez..." his words trailed off as we all broke out into another fit of laughter. "Ally, Ally?" I turned in my seat as Mimi approached me, "sweetheart I have a favor to ask you" she began, I nodded for her to continue, "well not just me but I've had quite a few guests ask if you were going to be singing tonight and well I said no but then I got to thinking that maybe..." she looked nervously at me. I giggled and nodded, "I would love to Mimi" I said, her eyes widened as she pulled me into a hug, "oh darling you are wonderful, okay come with me I'll introduce you to the band and you can tell them what song you'd like to sing" ... oh we're doing this now okay then.
I leaned back into Austin's chest, "I'll be right back I'm gonna help your mom with something" I said, he nodded and gave me a kiss, "don't be long" he whispered against my lips, I smiled and kissed him again before standing and following his mom.
"Gentlemen this is..." Mimi began to introduce me to the band, "Ally Dawson.." one of the violinists spoke up cutting her off he stood up, "your voice is amazing, are you going to sing tonight" I looked at Mimi and we both laughed. I nodded, "if that's okay with you guys" I asked, they all nodded, "absolutely what did you want to perform?" the piano player asked, Mimi glanced to me and I smiled, "lets bring it down a few notches gentlemen, lets bring the season to life..."
"Where'd Ally go?" Cassidy asked, we looked around and I saw my mom walking back with a big smile on her face, she took her seat between me and my dad, "where's Ally?" I asked suddenly all the lights dimmed in the tent leaving just the tea light candle along the table glowing in the dark. My mom put her finger to her lips and nodded towards the stage, I looked up as a soft spotlight landed on Ally as the piano began to play and everyone quieted down to a deep silence...

It is the night of our dear Saviour's birth.
The small orchestra began to play
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
'Til He appear'd and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Ally closed her eyes as she began singing the chorus, I took a glance at my mom who had her eyes closed as she smiled swaying back and forth to Ally's voice.
Fall on your knees! O hear the angels' voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born;
O night divine, O night, O night Divine.
I gazed around the tent and not one person was talking, not one person was moving. The waiters stood frozen inbtween tables, trays still in their hands as they watched.
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace. (And his gospel is piece)
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother;
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
(Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,)
Let all within us praise His holy name.
Her hands raised and flowed with the music as she sang out each word, I couldn't help but just watch her with so much pride and love.
Fall on your knees! O hear the angels' voices!

O night divine, She carried out the note taking my breathe away
O night,
O night Divine.
She raised her arms out and above her as she belted out the last notes.
Oooooooo-oooooooo night Diiiiivvvvviinnne.
It was silent for only a second as the last note was played and then everyone was out of their seats applauding, the waiters sat the trays down on table to join in, Ally smiled beaming brightly as she took a bow, I left the table and walked to the edge of the stage where I helped her down kissing the top of her hand and pulling her into a warm kiss. "That was beautiful baby" I said, she smiled as some guests approached us complimenting her on her performance and pulled the two of us into conversations about her singing and my concerts.
The night was a complete success, Ally and my mom were getting along great, Brook and Collin were on the back burner, Christmas was in just a few days and right now what mattered the most to me was that Ally was happy.
OMG! Longest chapter EVER! But I did it it's done! Eeeeekk!
I didn't really know how to bring the chapter to a close, so it wasn't the best pre meditated but it'll do.
The next few chapters are going to jump some time, because I've got a lot that I want to get down before I loose it lol
I hope you guys enjoyed this, I don't think I'll be able to make another one as long as this so enjoy it lol
