'If the portal fails?'

Shippou narrowed his green eyes, not liking the words Thor had said before he vanished with Kagome and his comrades into Asgard, 'So there's a chance that they can't just create portals?'

He certainly did not like that.

"Shippou-san!" Souta blinked in surprise when the fox grabbed him by the arm and began to gently drag him away from the scene, "What are you doing!?"

The action quickly caught the attention of the others and both Hawkeye and Coulson stepped forward, clearly ready to dispute said action.

"What else?" Shippou sighed, "We're leaving," He glared at Hawkeye, seeing that the man was thumbing an arrow, "And nothing is going to stop us."

"I suppose even if we asked nicely, you're not going to change your mind?" Hawkeye asked with a smirk, easily reading Coulson's face and he immediately knew what he had to do.

"As likely as me cutting off one of my tails," Shippou retort, and with a quick wiggle, his six tails disappeared in a flash, "I'm not here to play your games and there isn't enough time to make you play one of mine." His voice lowered dangerously at the last bit.

"We still have questions," Coulson said calmly, eyeing Souta with obvious interest, "About Kagome and yourself." He stepped forward, but certainly didn't expect interference.

"Go do what you need to do!" Darcy smirked,, much to Jane and Selvig's horror, as she wrapped her arms around Coulson's waist in her attempt to restrain him, "Don't forget to look me up for my trouble!" Though it was rather easy for Hawkeye to restrain her himself as Coulson dusted himself off.

However, it was more than enough time for Shippou to make his escape with the younger Higurashi sibling, "I won't, babe!" He winked at Darcy before vanishing with Souta in his arms in a flurry of leaves.

"What are we doing!?" Souta asked with a frown, "Nee-chan is back there!" He stated as Shippou put him down. The boy glanced around, seeing they had reappeared in front of the fox's nice sleek car.

"We're going to see Sesshoumaru," Shippou answered, causing Souta to blink blue eyes in surprise, "That God said there was a chance the portal to fail and if that happens, Kagome will be stuck in Asgard," He gave Souta a stare, "And we both don't want that, do we?"

"No," Souta muttered, seeing the point the fox had, "But why Sesshoumaru-sama?" He asked and Shippou simply grinned in return.

"Because Sesshoumaru always knows what to do!"
