36. Friends

As I left, Holley and Finn noticed. "What do you think you are doing?" Holley asks.

I turned to her. "I saw something at the corner of my eye and I want to investigate it. I will report back what I saw."

"Okay, Silverwind, but don't be too late." Finn said.

"You're letting her off on her own?" Holley asked. "Without someone going with her?"

"I think she already has someone with her." Finn smiled.

I left them with the queen in my dragon form then called back, 'Call me if I am needed.' Then I was out of their view.

As I reached in front if Big Ben, I noticed six cars sitting there. I got closer to notice that it was Rod, Kurt, and the Delinquent Hazards. I changed to my human form. I glared at boost who glared back. "Why are those three here?" I hissed angrily.

"They're here to say something." Rod said feeling my agitation. "They did not say what they want to say."

I looked to Boost, leader of the four, "So what do you want to say!"

Boost did not answer. Instead, it was DJ, "We have been watching you in action as a spy. We thought you were great. Boost just does not want to admit it but Snot Rod and I admit it."

"How have..." I was interrupted.

"We had tricks up our sleeves." Wingo grinned.

I looked to Rod then looked back to them.

"That and we had help by Kyle who knew Kurt. Kyle is not here now but we will come and visit you in Radiator Springs. Kurt took his place today." Wingo smiled.

"Sorry I am late." A new voice came in. I looked over to see Sanderson driving up to us.

"Greetings, Sanderson." I dipped my head.

"Greetings, Silverwind." Sanderson greeted back. "I have seen your progress with you mission. This was one of the biggest missions. It was very dangerous but you have succeeded."

"And I will promote you full agent. I am not longer your mentor but a fellow comrade." Rod said. "You did great, kid."

"Congratulations, Silverwind." Kurt said. "You will easily take on missions by yourself now."

"Wait... So I am going alone from this point on?" I was feeling uncertainty flow throw me.

"Not always," Rod reassured. "If you want, you can always have a partner."

"That would be great." I was pleased to hear that I did not always have to go on without any of the other agents at my side.

"We have to go." Kurt said.

"Why?" I asked.

"We have another mission to do and it requires Sanderson and me." Kurt said.

"Oh, okay." I said. "Good luck."

"You too, Silverwind." Sanderson said as they both left.

Now, it was only Rod, the Delinquent Hazards, and me. "So..." I began as I looked to Rod. "Do I have to go back to the agency or can I still live in Radiator Springs and then get called up if I am need."

"You can go back to Radiator Springs and we will notify you when you are needed. Or, I can always drop by to let you know." Rod answered.

"That would be great." I smiled then looked to the others. "And what will you four be doing?"

"I am going to come to Radiator Springs with Kyle, remember?" Wingo answered.

"We will also come." DJ added.

"Fine with me." I concluded.

"Silverwind?" I hear Finn speak over the ear bud.

"Yes?" I answered.

"You are needed back with McQueen and Mater." Finn said.

"Roger that." I replied and the transmission was over. I looked to Rod.

"I know you are needed." Rod said. "I will meet you back in Radiator Springs."

I dipped my head then changed my form. 'See you all back in the town.' I spoke to them all the running off.
