Disclaimer: I have found a friend! He's very shy, but I would like you all to meet Sam. Sam, meet my readers.
Sam: They're not yours.
Me: They are and they know that Harry Potter is not mine.

The voice that came from the door was almost inhuman. It sounded very old and metal.
"If the day before the day after tomorrow will be Saturday, and the day after the day before yesterday was Thursday, what is today?"
"Huh?" James asked. "I don't get it."
"Answer the riddle and the door will unlock." Remus said.
"How do you know that?" Sirius asked.
"It's in Hogwarts; a History."
"And you read that?"
"Who hasn't?"
"Normal people." James said.
"I thought that you haven't read it either." Sirius said.
"Very funny." James said to his best mate.
"Friday." Wynn said.
"No," Sirius said slowly. "Today is Monday." Wynn glanced at him then turned to the knocker.
"Friday." He said and the golden eagle nodded and the door swung open.
"Oh," Sirius said as we followed Wynn into the Ravenclaw common room.
It was very blue. There were also bronze tints to the room. Like Gryffindor's gold ones.
"Wait here." Wynn said heading for the staircase on the right. "I'll be back in a moment."
Out of the window I could see the forbidden forest. There was a fire in here but it didn't seem quite as warm as the Gryfindor fire.
James and Sirius didn't take long to make themselves comfortable on the couch. Citrus hovered awkwardly by the door, Remus stared in wonder around the room.
"Any history you want to impart?" I asked bumping him with my shoulder.
"Nah." He said. "Just looking. "It's not often that you get into another houses' common room."
"True that." I muttered and sat down on the couch.
"Got them." Wynn said coming back down the stairs.
"Great!" Sirius said standing and clapping his hands together. "Now we can go back to our common room."
"Don't you like it here?" Wynn asked.
"It is warmer up there." James pointed out.
"Fine." He muttered. "We'll go back up the stairs."
"Toughen up." Sirius said walking past him. "They're just stairs."
And that was how we spent the rest of the day. Playing Exploding Snap. I do love that game. But there seems to be a limit to the amount of times that cards can explode before people start to explode too.
"How do you do that?" Sirius exploded at Citrus as the deck went up in his face again. His out burst caused all the cards on the table to send out sparks.
Citrus was just smiling, trying not to giggle as James snuffed out the embers in Sirius' hair. They weren't dangerous, but James was just trying to help his friend.
"It's just luck." She said while I gathered the cards for a re-deal.
"I think it's more than that." Sirius said starting to sulk.
Citrus leaned in real close to him and whispered. "Prove it."
He glared at her but didn't say anything more. When that round blew up in Citrus' face he smiled.
"Serves you right." He said.
She just shrugged. "So my luck's run out." She said. "So long as you don't catch it."
"Snap!" I said to Sirius and he glared at me.
"Thank you for that." He said.
"You're welcome." I said.
"It's almost dinner time." Remus said.
"Are we ready?" James asked in a quiet voice. I saw Wynn and Citrus exchange a glance, but neither of them said anything.
"All set. Just have to make sure that no one steals our seats." Sirius replied.
"We all needed for this one?" Remus asked with a sigh.
"Would be nice." James said.
"And make things easier." Sirius added.
"Just tell me what to do then."
"Should we be worried?" Wynn asked casually, but I could see that he was a little worried.
"Just stick with us and you'll be right." James said.
"Is that really wise?" Citrus asked.
"It's usually the safest place." Sirius said.
"Well okay then." Wynn said.
"One more round." Sirius said. "I want to see Citrus lose again."
A/N: Sorry guys if there are continuity issues around here, it's been a while since I've looked at this but I will, eventually, find the time to fix it all up. NB: This time will likely be years from now.
Also it's been a while since I updated but I'm away over Christmas and plan to do a lot of writing, so I just need to find time to updated regularly.
