Chapter 37

*authors note, this entire chapter is on Trains POV*

I see Sven and Eve hiding in the bushes, finally I found someone, but Ara wasn't with them. "Sven…" I whispered.

"Train, it's you." He says, both him and Eve turned to look at me. We all step out of the bushes, dusting off all the leaves.

"Are you guys doing alright?" I questioned. "Have you seen Ara anywhere?" Both their heads drop.

"I'm Okay…" Eve states. "But I have not seen Ara anywhere."

"Sorry Train, we all got separated." Sven says, and I turned my head. "She will be fine, she is strong." I know that, I've seen the many sides of her. I know she'll find a way back to me. "This is it, now remember to be careful." Suddenly, a body falls out of a tree next to us. "What the hell?"

"Sophie." I exclaimed. She looked to be in serious pain, and she was holding her left side. A cloud of smoke immersed from behind her. From it, erupted a familiar laughter. "I know that laugh." I growl. "Preda Ghoul."

"More skin for the peeling!" He smirked. "I hope you came to die foolish sweepers! Cause I'll show you what death looks like from the inside out! And I'll start with Black Cat." He snarled, spit dripping in every word, like he was hungry for vengeance.

"This won't be easy. His strength comes from Tao… I…"

"Hold on." Sven interrupts me. "You better leave this one to me." He lights up a cigarette, and steps in front of me. "You need to go on and take care of Creed and find Ara."

"Are you sure?" I question.

"There is a lady here, whose been severely disrespected, and as a gentleman, I'm not going to stand for it." Sven's stare becomes strong. "And you have to protect your lady too." He looks back at me and smirks flicking up the rim of his hat.

I nodded to him and begin running ahead. In a way I'm kind of glad I haven't caught up with Ara, she's probably safer this way. I don't want to see her hurt by creed. I feel my body tense. This is it. Hindering my way were the cloaked henchmen, I rapidly jump in the air and knock them out of my way.

I make my way inside and knock out all the guards delaying my way. One of the hallways awaited one of the bigger flunkies, and possible a skilled gunman. They begin shooting at me. They weren't nearly as quick as I was. I dodge all their attacks and bash them out. I finally make my way to the top of the staircase, and I see Creed standing over Sephiria.

I lift my gun up and it stops him in his tracks, he chuckles, manically, and tears start rolling down his face. "It seems the serenade of murderous intent and friendship, is going to remain unfinished." He clicked his tongue against his teeth and swings his sword back, and his eyes filled with fury.

"I came here, to deliver some bad luck." I hold my composure.

"Train…" He coolly says. "No… Black Cat. You my friend, are the one and only man that I truly respect in this world." He begins to chuckle. "That is why the song will never be finished, the only way to release you from the hold of that witch, Saya, is to kill you with my own two hands!" He swings his sword forward, and I jump up to dodge his advance.

Good he isn't thinking about Ara or hasn't even seen her yet. I point my gun at him. "You are the only obstacle standing in my way now. Prepare to meet your death!" He screams, his sword begins to swing out of control, and his smirk grows. I managed to jump out of the way on every attempt of an attack. Some of the walls and floor crumbles with each of his outbreaks.

"It's useless to fight!" His sword began to munch on each of my rounds that I fired. "This sword has become part of my body." I shoot a couple more trying to keep my distance from him. I find an opening and manage to fire, it hits Creed. His sword vanished, and he fell to the floor. He grunts.

"Of all things to use, you choose that witches trick. You should know that you could never bring down a God, with an attack like that!" He chuckles again. Rose petals flash down into his body. "Ah as good as new, what will you do now Black Cat? With the power I have, you could chop my head from my body, and as long as there is just one cell of my brain left behind, it will regenerate fully." He utters.

"Use it!" Sephiria yells from behind me.

"Sephiria…"

"Use your hades Train…" She was holding on to a wound on her arm. "Loading it with the Orichalcum bullet will allow it to manifest it's ultimate power. No matter how strong your target may seem, the bullet will destroy its molecular structure. It's the only chance you'll have to destroy him. Take him out now Heartnet. The world needs to be rid of his evil."

I turn from her and smirk. "I'm sorry, Sephiria, I can't. I didn't come here to kill Creed. As a sweeper, I'm here to take him into custody."

"STOP!" Creed yells. "I've had enough of this. Since my opus will end unfinished, against my will of course, I wanted to, at the very least, finish this painting I crafted. With some of your blood mixed with my own. But with the way you're acting right now, red just isn't the color that would suit the image I had originally planned!" He reveals a painting behind the curtain, and lifts up a can of paint and throws paint on the mural of me.

"When one loses the intent to kill, bold and beautiful red is no longer suitable." He grabs at the cloth draped over a statue and pulls it off to reveal the statue was me. "And I can't forget the statue! Yes, this statue was nearly complete, all I need to add was a murderous look in your eyes!" he slashes the head off. "But now, I don't even know if I want you to have eyes at all or even a head, for that matter." He sounded like a five-year-old throwing a temper tantrum.

He turns to look at me, a different look in his eyes. His composure stiffer, and intensity seeping out of every inch of his body. His sword moving faster. I get knocked back a couple of times and fire a couple of rounds and they don't even make contact. He swings again, each attack more powerful than the last.

He throws a part of the broken balcony at me and it hits hard, somehow, he was behind me and slams me against the roof. I jump to my feet. "Since the sword is now apart of you, if I destroy the blade, then your heart and mind will be destroyed along with it." I manage to pull him forward, and attack with all my being. "Break Apart!" I yell, but he managed to pin me against a wall.

"Unfortunate isn't. The disappointment and anger rushing through my veins have had an effect on the strength of my Imagine Blade, causing even your orichalcum bullet to be useless." I open my gun and let all the bullets fall from the chambers. I reach in my jacket to grab the bullet. "I see, so that's the orichalcum bullet. It really makes no difference to me, go ahead and shoot my head clean off if you like." His eyes were blood red. "If you're lucky, you may even kill me in the process."

"Look" I grunt. "Do not make me repeat myself, killing you would be a meaningless waste of effort. You need to live a life of repentance. For all the people you've killed. Including Saya. And just how like I feel, I know, that Saya feels the same way." I grin knowing how much I was getting under his skin.

He begins to lose his cool, snapping the rose in have in his mouth. "Not her again, not… that… WITCH! He throws his head back, tears rolling down his face. "NOT THAT WITCH!" He starts sprinting towards me. Pain in his eyes. I slowly lift my gun and jump off the wall dodging his attack.

I try to place the bullet into the chamber and it falls out of my hand. "No…" I begin falling in its direction, and Creed is right in front of me.

"This is quite depressing Train, I wanted us to create a paradise together. An eternal paradise!" Unexpectedly the bullet was right in front of me. I grinned, swinging my gun forward, the bullet falling in place clicking into the chamber. I recompose myself pointing the gun at him. A presence was behind me. It was Saya. She grinned reaching up and held my hands steady, pointing Hades towards Creed. "It's you! The witch. I already killed you." He lifted his arm above his head.

"Now Train, show him how sweepers do things. The noble way. And one more thing, Keep Ara close, she's going to need you…" Saya whispered. How did she know about Ara?

"I'll send you straight to hell!" His hand came down and I fired with all my might, Sephiria behind him launching her sword forward.

It was finally over.
