I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
A Thousand Years: Christina Perri
A sliver of sunlight glanced off her cheek and she stretched. Her hand reached out, but it hit fluff instead of skin. He wasn't here and then she remembered why and smiled. She snuggled into the covers, petting Lil' Scruff till she started to wake up and Camille burst in carrying a thing of tea and a bag of muffins and pastry. "Breakfast is served Milady", She giggled and sat down beside her friend.
After breakfast, she took a shower and packed a small overnight bag. Then Camille was driving her to Tess and Brendan's to get ready for the wedding. Her last night as Michaela Chris Vanburen, her last hours really and she sighed. She fiddled with her ring nervously, but really if she was truly honest her worry was more of tripping down the aisle than marrying the man she loved. "Wish you were here Lu, mom, dad", Michaela whispered.
Tess greeted them at the door and told them the guys were in the den and to head upstairs. Camille's Mom and Tess helped with her makeup. She made sure to go to the ladies before she put the dress on. When she stepped out everyone 'ooh'd and aaahh'd' their approval as the photographer snapped some pictures. They wanted to have some group photos done before the ceremony so she and Tommy would have a 'reveal' and then everyone would gather in the back yard.

There he sat, drumming his fingers and waiting. His hair freshly done and lightly jelled, his tie on right and his shoes shined. This was probably the one time he'd wear a tie, he hoped everyone appreciated it! His vest was still on, but his jacket hung on the edge of the white, wooden fold out he sat on. It felt to warm even though it was September and the weather was not unpleasant, but still cool. He's thinking, mind running a hundred miles a minute and he must look like he'll end the next person to try and talk to him because even Brendan is hanging back.
He wonders on how he got here, how he could still have love to give her after everything. It's amazing to him that he fell so far without completely loosing himself. His Brother had helped start him on this path. She was there at the pass. He had broken her, his defensive side was trained to kill and it smelled weakness and blood. How she had found it in her to forgive him and take him back, he knew had helped him even more. The thought that he could let himself be forgiven helped him to be able to forgive others. The more he thought the more he missed Manny; he remembered how sorry Pilar had sounded when she said she couldn't make it. It was hard to accept that a part of his 'family' wouldn't be there, but she'd said her mother was sick. Taking care of your sick mother was something he could understand, but it still hurt. Someone called his name and he wanted to tear them a new one, but they called again and…that voice. Couldn't be…
"Tommy? Dios Mio Tommy?"
He stood and turned, a little weary at believing it just yet. "Pilar? I thought…you said…" Tommy sputtered.
"It was supposed to be a surprise and then you called…I had to think of something." Pilar explained with a smile. Her long dark hair was half pulled back and she shifted a little nervously in her yellow pumps that matched her floral dress as he walked up to her.
"Maria? Little Man?"
"Inside, oh Tommy I'm so happy for you", Pilar murmured as he gave her a hug. "I know Manny would b-be proud t-to, sorry, this is a happy day. Enhorabuena Tommy." She added with a little sniffle, trying to step back, but he just pulled her in close.
They spent a good five minutes like that. Just holding each other till the photographer called that they were ready for the big reveal. She moved and he let her, she wished him luck and happiness and went to find her children while he went back for his suit coat.

She had been watching from the upstairs window, Tess fixing her makeup when the tears got too bad. Now they were leading her downstairs and she was doing her best to steady her breathing. She saw him from the slider; his back turned, leaning against a tree near the makeshift aisle. He looked relaxed; she imagined he was rolling a tooth pick around those gorgeous full lips like he always did. Suppressing the tiny shiver that ran up her spine she stepped forward, making it halfway when she called his name softly.
He turned, not entirely able to suppress his intake of breath. Her face was downturned like she was watching her steps and he took a moment to take in the rest of her before he'd get lost in her eyes. Seeing the dress in the Shoppe was one thing, but this was the whole picture. Her hair was up with little flowers weaved in and the tiara he'd bought her looked perfect. The thing cost more than her dress, it darn well better look good. Then she looked up and he was blown away again. He could hear the click of a camera, but it was like time had stopped and he just stared.
"Hey Mr. Conlon." Michaela murmured shyly.
"Hey Mrs. Conlon." Tommy answered back, just breathing in this moment. He told her she looked perfect and she blushed. Then he told her he was going to enjoy 'messing' her up. "I want to just wreck you", he admitted in a whisper.
She giggled, it didn't break the moment, just changed it. "Not looking to shabby yourself, but I think you'll have to hold that thought." Michaela replied.
"I can wait." Tommy assured with a grin as the photographer called out the rest of the party.

After pictures they had about 20 minutes to kill before the ceremony. She watched as the guests started to find their seats while string quartet covers of various artists and songs played. There wasn't that big of a gathering, but it fit their space perfectly. They nibbled on cheese and crackers and every so often Camille would fan her off if she got to warm. Before she knew it Frank was at her side as everyone went down. The guys would take their places up front after Brendan got done giving Rosie a pep talk and telling her to find Paddy in the front row when she was done.
The bridesmaids walked down after Rosie threw the flowers, to a cover of Over the Rainbow by The Piano Guys. Then it was Michaela and Frank's turn. He squeezed her hand as she leaned on his shoulder and Camille's mom motioned them to go. The song she chose was a cover by the same Artist just mentioned. The song; Christina Perri's: A Thousand Years.
Tommy actually had tears in his eyes as his trainer led her forward. He knew he was wearing his emotions on his sleeve. Pilar was crying, so was pop and he knew everyone in the wedding party had wet watery eyes as well. It must have been a sight for him to be letting this much emotion show. Then he was taking her offered hand as she handed Camille her bouquet of peonies and orchids to hold with the other. The music faded away and as he grasped her other hand the pastor stepped up to welcome everyone.

"The couple has written their own vows, Michaela we'll start with you." Pastor Scott stated kindly.
She dropped a hand as the pastor handed her a slip of paper. Michaela told him she loved him that he helped her through so many things and she hoped she had helped him. He reached out and brushed his knuckles along her cheek and she smiled as she did her level best not to cry. "I love you Tommy Conlon, I love everything about you broken, ugly, and scarred." She finished, wiping at a tear with her finger.
The pastor handed him, his piece of paper and he nervously cleared his throat. "I love you Kayla, I love the way you love me and the way you care. I love the way you cheer at fights. I love the way you stare. I love the way you know the important things to ask and the way you read my mind. I love you so much it makes me cry; now it's even made me rhyme." Tommy started and everyone smiled or laughed at the rhyme part. She smiled at him, brushing her hand along his cheek. "I love the fact you stuck around, you gave me a second chance at life and I promise I'll love you till I die. I love you so much Michaela Chris and once again it's made me cry."
They both had to wipe their eyes before a new song broke in and they moved to the unity candle. Once that was lit they moved back to the center and before they knew it the pastor announced them as man and wife. Tommy swept her into his arms and kissed her with everything he had.

A small ball room had been rented for the reception, which didn't start till an hour after the service. Once more pictures were taken Tommy and Michaela decided to escape to their room before the celebration started. The ballroom just happened to be at the hotel they were staying in till their honeymoon. "Jeez Kayla I don't think I can take it anymore", Tommy husked, pulling her into a kiss as they rode the elevator.
"Mmm I guess it's good that we have to be quick then", Michaela replied as they reached their floor. True to tradition, he carried her in, setting her down before he went to the bed and sat at the edge.
"I want to see my wife when she comes." Tommy growled, motioning her forward. She licked her lips as she reached him and he groaned when she undid his pants. He stood to let them fall to his ankles then sat again. His eyes widened when she got on her knees. He wished he had a camera, what a beautiful sexy picture this must make. His wife still in her wedding dress, hair done up, tiara shining, and her veil in perfect place as she wrapped her lips around the length of him. He didn't let her get too far and she pushed him to lie back as she bunched up her dress and climbed atop him.
She whined as he reached to tear her panties of then guide himself into her. He held her hips as he started bucking his, knowing he wouldn't last long. She cried out when he reached under the layers of chiffon to rub her clit and she moaned. Michaela leaned it and with absolute love and ecstasy in her eyes whispered, "I love you, harder Tommy harder." His grip tightened on her hips and he added pressure to his thumb. He increased his pace as he helped her to move with him and just watching her come undone did it for him.

Lucky for her the bag she'd packed was waiting and she grabbed a fresh pair of panties. They both freshened up before heading back down stairs. Either people were oblivious or they just didn't say anything as the couple returned to join the rest of the wedding party. When they were announced Michaela looked to be contemplating something then she shrugged dropped her bouquet and broadsided Tommy who of course eagerly returned the kiss.
After a wonderful dinner it was time to cut the cake and have their first dance. Tommy was quite considerate when he fed her a piece. Michaela however shoved it in his face and laughed her head off. That is until he wiped a trail clean and smeared the stray frosting I down her nose and over her chin. Everyone cheered at the display waiting for the first dance while the two cleaned up and the cake was taken off the dance floor. If My Heart Was A House by: Owl City was chosen for their first dance and he held her close as they swayed together. Every so often he would lean in for a kiss and she could feel the desire build all over again.
When she had danced as long as possible and the last song of the night began to play she sat to the side finishing her third piece of cake before joining Tommy for one last time on the floor. His hands easily found her hips as they moved his breath warm on her skin as he whispered to her, "I want to make love to you, take my time." She smiled and when the song was done and everyone had said goodnight he carried her back to their room.

She made him wait while she changed, walking out in a sheer white babydoll with fly away sides. A blue garter with white lace trim sat delicately on her thigh and she was wearing a white lace thong to top it off. He loosened his tie as she stepped forward and he let it fall to the floor. His hands were everywhere as they kissed up and down her back, over her breasts, and down her stomach. Then he was kissing along her neck and chest, feeling her arch when he took a nipple into his mouth leaving wet marks on the material. She cried out when his hand reached under the lace of her thong. "Tommmyyy." Michaela whined moving her hips against his hand.
"Feel it baby, fuck you're so wet", Tommy hissed out before going back to sucking on her nipples. "I love you Kayla, I love you so much." He added as his thumb found her clit and he slipped two fingers into her. She crashed moments later, muffling her cries in his neck as he laid her back and pulled the thong from her hips. He leaned over her, smoothing his hands up her stomach as he leaned in to kiss her.
"I love you too Tommy", Michaela murmured as she ran her hands through his hair. Then he was kissing a trail down till he settled between her thighs. He tugged at the garter with his teeth, kissing each thigh before setting her on fire with his tongue. She fell again, begging him to take her; she wanted to be one with him. He swore when he joined them, pulling her legs higher up on his hips.
How he lasted long enough to follow her over the edge he wasn't sure. What he knew for certain is he never wanted this feeling to end. As he stripped off the babydoll and carried her into the bathroom he knew this was what he'd been waiting for. He had found his redemption and he was never again going to let it go.
