Chapter 35

Syndra played with the small ball she carried in boredom. Karma left her to go grab someone. She didn't know how and at this point, she really didn't care. Her thoughts were on her boyfriend. If his situation wasn't as bad as it was she would have requested to be there with him. She knew her place well enough with the Council of Equity to know that her presence would be frowned upon and considered a threat to their operation.

So she waited in her room simply expanding her magic and gaining better control by levitating a small ball with her power. She saw it in Naruto's memories once. He did it with a leaf. It was supposed to teach you better control over their chakra. In Naruto's case it didn't work, but it wasn't like he hadn't tried. He had gave it his all and still failed to do it. No one really ever seemed to take into consideration that he had a lot of chakra because of the Kyuubi. Maybe they did take it into consideration and just never really considered it a problem. They were far more terrified of him turning into the creature and finishing what it started.

The ball was one of the many gifts that Naruto had showered her with during their relationship. If she had to pick a favorite gift she had been given, it wouldn't be the ball. Naruto had given her the best gift to show his devotion to her and it was surprisingly very simple. On her temple was a grave. The grave was left unmarked. Beneath the soil was an item. The item in question was Naruto's old headband from his village. Naruto buried it as a testament and a vow to her that he would never leave her side. It wasn't a ring, but it was damn near close to one. Naruto still kept Sasuke's headband. He promised her that when he felt it was right he would throw it into the ocean as his final vow to stay beside her forever. Until that time, he would keep it until he was past his former friend.

To Syndra it was the sweetest thing he could do. Having some of his memories gave her insight to what this meant. It was his proof that he was moving forward with his life. He was beyond admitting his age and how long he'd been in Ionia. He was beyond his desire for acceptance. It had changed for her. She changed him. Just as he had changed her. She couldn't think of a world without him now.

Syndra pulled the ball down and smiled at it. Things were finally going her way.

A knock at her door forced all thoughts from her mind as she floated to it and cracked it open. A flock of white hair and a horn greeted her. She pulled it open further and saw the smiling form of Soraka standing beside Karma. Syndra blinked and looked worryingly towards her boyfriends' adopted mother for an answer. Karma gave a sly smile towards her. Syndra rolled her eyes and let them in.

"We're doing this now?" she asked heatedly. This was hardly the time.

Karma shut the door and nodded. "Would you rather spend it worrying about Naruto?" Syndra conceded and Soraka furrowed her brow in thought. She was sure Naruto had said that not too long ago. He was rubbing off on Karma. "I want to move this along as quickly as possible, Syndra. The sooner we get this squared away, the better. For both of you." Karma made it sound needing as she moved beside Soraka. The Star Child looked somewhat fearful as she stood in the presence of the Dark Sovereign. Karma put a reassuring hand on her shoulder and smiled gently. "Don't worry about it. I promised you that you'd be safe. You will be. Soraka, we need your help now."

"My help?" Karma had neglected to explain anything to her before coming here. She had simply told her that she wanted to speak to her about something important. She had never said she needed her help. "With what?" Karma glanced at Syndra and offered a disarming smile. Soraka looked between the two of them and then around the room for something else. "What do you need help that would require my aid?"

"I realize that the Elders have done wrong to Syndra and I want to fix that." Soraka pursed her lips and gave her a worried look. Syndra floated over to her desk and started going through it for something. Karma ignored her and continued talking. "I spent the night with her up on her tower. I learned several things about her. While Syndra is willing to take some of the blame for what she did, she is in the right in requesting that the Elders also take responsibility for their actions against her. I admit that I'm willing to go with her on this because she has provided proof. We were in the wrong."

Syndra sighed and said, "I'm also dating her son," as she was tired of beating around that bush. Soraka blinked as she put that together in her head. Syndra floated towards them, the ball floating aimlessly around her form as she hovered in the air. "I will admit to my wrong doings, as I would like the Elders to do as well. If they had simply told me the truth and looked at me with hope instead of fear, I wouldn't have turned out as bad as I did. While I'll admit now that I do this for Naruto, if he leaves me, I will destroy you all."

Soraka laughed nervously to the proclamation. It wasn't like what she was talking about was going to be easy. And if Naruto died by unknown hands, did that also mean she'd come for them? Naruto had a pretty terrible creature in him at the moment. If that broke out and killed him, would she turn on them? It was probably best not to think on it. If that thing got out, they could all kiss their butts goodbye because no one was surviving that. "What do you need me to do?" she asked, sounding somewhat joyed by the thought of this revolution.

Karma smiled, happy to have her friend onboard with them. "I can tend to the Elders, but we need the people to be on our side as well. I can move a few of them. I can make them see that Syndra isn't evil anymore." Syndra snorted. "She's already promised to try and do good by Ionia as long as Naruto isn't taken from her. She's already started doing this by coming to Ionia's aid when we won against Noxus. She helped make sure that no one died in the riots when the citizens wen to the isles to be reunited with their families."

Soraka chewed on her lip. There was more to this, but clearly they didn't have the time to plan everything out. "Who else knows about this?"

"Ahri, Akali, and Zed," Syndra told her.

Soraka bit harder on her lip. With only two well-respected Champions backing them so far it'd be tough. Maybe they could do it. But they were shooting big here. One slip up in any information and it could all come crumbling down around them. She got the basic idea of what they wanted to do so far. All they needed right now was time and more ways to prove she was on their side. It wasn't like she could just sign up to fight for Ionia in political matches right now. She could, but that wouldn't prove anything. They needed something more in order to show her change to the world.

"Who else do you plan on bringing in on this?"

"Lee Sin and Irelia," Karma confessed with a hint of worry.

Soraka gave her a wide eyed look. "Irelia?! Are you sure that's a wise idea?" She looked to Syndra. There was no way Irelia would agree to this. She'd rather die than side with Syndra. Even in her matches where she worked with her it was clear she hated her still. She was slower and didn't hit as hard when she had to be beside Syndra. Stars forbid if she learned of this. "You're asking for trouble if you go to her."

"Naruto said he'd deal with her," Syndra told her bluntly. She could see the problem, but she was going to put her neck out with Naruto there. If Irelia didn't side with them, so be it. She'd march right into town alongside him if this worked and give Irelia the finger the whole time while there if she saw her. "We just need you to get your people to side with you on saying I'm not a terrible person."

"You make that sound like a demand," Soraka told her. Syndra narrowed her eyes but a calming hand on her shoulder stopped her from lashing out. Karma gave a knowing smile that looked more like a silent death threat than a warming gesture. Soraka seemed to sense it as well and chuckled nervously. Perhaps Naruto was rubbing off on Karma. "I'll speak to them. But this will take time. I don't know how much, but it will take time. You have to allow me that much."

"You have all the time in the world right now," Karma confessed. "We want to try and bring her to the Summer Festival. I suppose you don't have all the time in the world, then." She shrugged. That was long enough. "We're using Syndra's temple as a base right now for this. We don't need anyone finding out about this that doesn't need to know."

Soraka's face fell. "Then why does Ahri know?"

Syndra licked her teeth. That was a good question and one that she didn't have an answer to. But she knew that Karma might and turned to her expecting the answer. Sadly, she didn't have one. Karma looked confused on it as well. Why did Ahri know? She was loyal to Naruto to a fault. She loved him almost like she wanted to marry him, but respected the idea of them being siblings over lovers. She wasn't someone that could keep a secret though. Maybe if Naruto asked her she would keep the secret? Or maybe they just didn't know her as well as Naruto did. He told her things that Karma never knew about him until he brought them up. When asked if Ahri knew about them, she'd simple nod and leave it at that.

"She can be trusted not to say anything," Karma told them after a few seconds of thinking further on it. "So we just need to start talking to others and try to make them see that she's not bad. And we have to make sure that this is done secretly. We can't have the Elders finding out before we do this so that they can get a leg up on us. I know this is going to be hard, but I think we can do it." Soraka looked hopeful. Syndra looked skeptical. She was still going in under a disguise and having Naruto pay off the guards. That was his method and idea on the matter. "So we still got some time before Naruto's done. Wanna get something to eat?"

"Together?" Syndra asked worryingly. Didn't Karma just say that they needed to be secretive about this?

"We're in the Institute so it won't be that much of a stretch to see enemies talking and eating at the same table. Or have you forgotten that Warwick talks to Soraka when they're in the cafeteria at times?" Soraka looked sad at the mention of his name. So many terrible things were done to him, all in the name of science. Though he harmed a lot of people, she didn't want this curse on anyone. Lest of all him. He didn't deserve her wrath. Now they were both cursed. She couldn't hear the stars anymore and he would never be human again.

"Fine…"

"Good! Now have you thought of any names for your kids?" Syndra gave her a flat look and floated out of her room. Karma smiled, for once not carrying that she was, in all honestly, poking a very angry bull with a small stick.

Diana shielded her eyes as the sun expanded and threatened to engulf them in its terrible flames. The light rushed over them but did not burn them. She pulled her hand away from her eyes and stared into the very heart of the sun. A dark figure lay at the center. The moon that shattered cried in response. The figure in the sun answered in turn. The moon rumbled and broke apart fully, splitting clean in two and leaving a white dot in the sky above. Diana couldn't see the figure.

A mighty roar echoed from the sun and large wings made of flames burst from it. The sun retracted on itself and shrank until it was three times the size of a human. The wings flapped and sent balls of fire hurtling towards the nothingness beneath them. A head emerged from the flames and screamed in first crying breath as it clawed at its chest. It howled and thrashed like a newborn removed from its mother. When it finally settled it planted both hands on the sun and screamed into it. The sun exploded further and detonated fully as it was finally unable or unwilling to hold together any longer.

The creature flapped its wings and took to the sky. It flew for several minutes around the shattered moon before it finally swooped in to grab something. It darted for them and hit hard when it landed. Diana stood breathlessly as she stared at the creature. Its wings beat like drums as it righted itself on its hind legs. It wore golden armor and was twice as tall and twice as thick as the finest warriors of the Rakkor. In its arms it held a woman bathed in white robes with rich skin. She held a mirror and floated to his head. She glanced around the void world and then her eyes were drawn to them. A smile touched her lips.

"So it's time?" Her voice echoed. The beast snorted flames and shook its head.

Kohaku moved to the front of the group, his eyes full of sorrow. "Maria… Shinji… How is this possible?" He turned to the Warden. She gave him a dark glance. "They died."

"Some Weave you are," she hissed at him. She glanced at Maria and then to Shinji. "Take care of your bird, Little Light; you don't want to lose him now." The beast hissed at her and exploded into flames. A young man remained wearing golden armor. He was incredibly young looking. Behind it a large phoenix with a lizard tail flapped its wings and cried for the first time in centuries. It took to the sky and flew as the others talked. "Kohaku, I told you that they didn't die the truth death of no return. Death is only achieved when existence doesn't need you anymore. They are still needed. So they cannot die."

"My sister," Shinji hissed. "Where is she?"

Diana's heart leapt to her throat? Savona would be here? She could finally see her and understand her diary.

The First Born Warden examined her nails. "Do you remember our deal, Little Light?" Shinji recoiled and growled. He was more animal than he was human. His phoenix flew around in the sky crying happily as it played with a star that it found. An entire world was destroyed when it decided it wanted to nest. Diana hoped that this was place wasn't a real universe or something like that. They just destroyed a sun and a moon and now the bird was destroying planets. She hoped it wasn't killed innocent people. "Your sister still sleeps, as promised. We awaken her next." She looked to Kohaku and smiled at him. "You travel with his group. Find your sister in the Tom of White Dreams. She waits for you."

"That place will be guarded by Sophia and Saito," Maria said sharply. Diana was pulled from her thoughts by her voice. The others were as well. "You ask us to challenge them? We will die!"

"You have seen the future, but only so far. You haven't seen that far. Not yet." The First Born Warden gave a wide grin as she stalked around the group. "The Weaver, the Moon Princess, the Child of the Moon, the Sun's Wrath, the Undying King, and the ice Queen… all fighting for their lives against her… Should be fun to watch. Or watch again." She turned her back on them and marched towards her throne. "I grow tired of your presence. Leave now and retrieve Savona. She waits in the Forest of White Dreams. Find her and then I'll find the survivors from your fight."

"I'm not fighting your war!" Ashe hissed. She readied another arrow. Shinji snarled and summoned a ball of fire over his head. Wings of flame erupted from his back as his form caught fire. Maria took a calming breath and let her mirror hum violently. The First Born Warden snapped her fingers. Ashe's ice arm began to dissolve into nothing. She cried and slumped to one knee as she held it.

"Don't threaten me, Ice Queen. You will serve your part in this and die the death of no return. You've lived too many lives now. It's time that you finally die the true death. You're desire to see your land united is but a dream. That dream is created by the Dreamer, our enemy. Even now he moves his hand over your land and changes the very thought of your people. Your enemy's crowd around you and you don't even see it. I save you only to let you die elsewhere. Keep that in mind next time you want to challenge me. You'll live longer if you don't." She snapped her fingers and the ice solidified. Ashe held her hand in worry and accepted her slavery without question. "Now find Savona and I will tell you what we do next. If we're lucky, we prevent something terrible from happening and I can win one over my brother."

"Why should we work with them?" Shinji hissed. Tryndamere was willing to agree with him. He didn't like his attitude and he certainly didn't like this Warden Lady.

"You want revenge on the Dreamer, don't you? Work with them and you will have your revenge on your betrayer." She looked to Maria and smiled. "Have no fear, Moon Princess; your future is not bleak. It stands strong while the moon holds fast." She waved her hand and sent them away.

They shivered and Kohaku glanced around with them. They stood in front of a large forest. Maria took a deep breath before floating forward. "Let's go marching to our death… again." Shinji grumbled as he started walking. He wasn't going to be able to use all of his power right now. He was still gathering his strength.

Kohaku followed after him with a scowl on his face. Maria hung back and floated beside Diana. She gave her a smile. Diana returned it. The married couple followed a moment later and readied their weapons for the fight ahead. Nothing was ever simple it seemed.

Zed grimaced as he became the butt of all jokes yet again. It wasn't his fault no one would use him to his fullest. Turn him loose on the Fields of Justice without someone controlling him and then they'd see he was good. Losing every match thus far today was not boosting his ego at all. He lost to Irelia! He lost to Teemo! He lost to some blue bastard with a trident! And to make it even worse he lost to Ahri. His day was not going well and if it continued like this he was honestly going to murder the next person that beat him in a match.

But right now he had more important matters to deal with. Like finding a way to shut Ahri up. They had sex one time and she wouldn't leave him alone. Was she trying to show him what she was like if she got pregnant to let him know what the rest of his life was going to be like? He hoped not.

"Why can't anyone use you properly? I think I'm far more complex than you are." Ahri wasn't aware of it, but she was wrong on the matter. To any Summoner that controlled her, she was far easier. Point and destroy was the only thing she was good at. She didn't have to use anything else short of maybe losing a top to become the ultimate distraction for both male and female. Show a little skin and lure them in for the kill. Anyone not use to it was dead in the water before they knew what hit them. "Maybe it's because you're still new." She snapped her fingers "Yeah! That's it! You're still new so no one knows how to use you properly."

"Do you ever shut up?" Ahri gave him a hard stare for his words. He stared her down right back. He wasn't taking her shit. He put up with Syndra because of Naruto and he put up with Naruto because they were friends. Ahri wasn't a friend. If she was anything to him, she was a one night stand gone horribly wrong. If they weren't drunk when they did it he was sure he would have rocked her world. Or she would have never had sex with him. Either case; they wouldn't be having this conversation. "Why are you hanging around me? You're cramping my style."

"What style?"

Zed hung his head in shame. Akali strolled up to him and sat down beside Ahri. The two shared a knowing smile. If Akali couldn't kill Zed off the Fields of Justice, by god she was going to torture him until he got ballsy enough to lash out at them. Then it'd be self-defense and she could kill him. Even if they read her mind she could still claim self-defense if he attacked her. One story was better than two.

"I will gut you both with an honest to god smile on my face if you don't leave me alone." Akali blinked at him, unaffected by his threat. Zed sighed and leaned back in his chair. His next match was going to be in an hour or so. Shame he already knew he who he was teaming up with for it. It was not his lucky day. "Why are you hanging out around me, anyways? Shouldn't you be off with Shen or the rodent?"

Akali's eyes narrowed slightly before she regained control of her emotions and returned to a bored state of mind. "Shen isn't here and Kennen is currently doing a match." She motioned to a terminal that showed the poor ninja dying to the hand of Mundo. Zed wanted to laugh and point at him, but he didn't have the strength. He was still riding a hangover and all his strength was not with him. Plus he wasn't here to suffer from his mockery. "When's your next match?" She popped a small cherry in her mouth. Ahri's tails stiffened and she gave her female friend a perturbed glance.

"In about an hour or so," Zed offered with a wave towards someone else in the distance. Akali looked over her shoulder. A confused Morgana hesitantly waved back. "She's nice."

"What's her name?" Ahri said quickly.

"…Bird… Lady…? Shut up!"

"You poor sad soul. Unable to make friends. That's a shame."

"I made friends with you last night."

"I took pity on you."

"That's not what your face said last night."

"Oh you'll learn that I'm a master at getting what I want and showing you what I want. No one alive can understand my sexual preference."

Akali stared the two of them down, looking between them in worry before Zed sat forward, almost as though he were accepting a challenge, and said, "You read some of that book I got from Naruto, didn't you?" Ahri gave him a toothy grin. He grabbed the book in question and started flipping through it to find his page. He found it. The book marker was still there. He looked at Ahri. She was smiling at him. "You've read this before, haven't you?"

She shook her head. "Nope," she confessed unhappily. "Naruto and I grew up together. So he had stories on people he knew. I knew about his master and his novels a long time ago. It was right after I was dating a farmer. Naruto approved of the guy but I really was only using him for my own reasons. We got on the subject of funny people we knew and he brought up his master and the books he wrote. I didn't know he even brought one with him." She reached out to take it. Zed pulled back and put it away. "Let me see the book." She ordered. Zed shook his head. Ahri's face twisted into a look of anger. "If you don't give me that book I will make your life worse than what it is."

"How so?" He wanted to hear this.

"I'm a woman and I can claim rape." Zed blinked, clearly not carrying. All they had to do was read their minds and know that wasn't the case. She gave herself to him. He remembered that much. Ahri huffed and crossed her arms under her chest, inflating them for him as she looked the other way with a cute pout. Zed wasn't not amused. "I wanna see if it's as good as Naruto says it was," she finally confessed. Zed rolled his eyes and offered the book. She happily took it and started reading it. There was a momentary pause in her flipping before she looked up at him. "I can't read it."

"Imagine that. A woman that can't read. Go figure."

"I will bite you."

"Depends on what you're biting." He looked around for someone else, anyone else, to go and talk to. Wasn't that blond haired female explorer around here somewhere? Wasn't she dating Lux? Maybe he could bug her. Ahri snapped the book shut and he snatched it from her. "Naruto taught me how to read his language. Since we grew up as friends, he taught me how to read it."

Ahri flipped her braided hair over her shoulder and smiled at him. "Oh that's cute. Trying to one up me?" She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth. "Naruto taught me how to do his villages' most powerful Taijutsu move." Zed's face drained of color. Akali's face too. That wasn't a power anyone should have. Less of all a fox woman raised alongside a hyperactive prankster like Naruto. That was too much power for one person. "We should play a game. I know you know how to do it. Naruto told me that he taught it to you." She leaned forward, giving him another good view of her cleavage. "Wanna play me at it?"

Zed fought against a sudden desire to tackle her and ravage her body. He felt his entire body scream at him and his mind yell back in response. His body was thankfully in control and prevented him for jumped up and doing terrible, pleasurable things to her. Ahri sat back down and frowned in thought before snapping her fingers. She looked at Akali and grinned. Akali put her weapon on the table. Ahri turned the other way, a scowl forming on her face. Zed gave her a questioning glance before looking back at Ahri.

"She was trying to charm you," Akali informed him. If he ravaged Ahri right here would that get them thrown out of the League or just give them a slap on the wrist. It wasn't like they were in a relationship or anything. Zed sighed and looked at the smug fox woman. Akali popped another cherry in her mouth, waiting and hoping for a confrontation between the two. "You think I should put money on your opponents for your next match, Zed?" He grumbled a low curse as he returned to watching the monitors. Kennen died again, this time to Warwick. He wanted to be there right now to mock him and kill him. "Who are you opponents for your next match?"

Zed took a deep breath and glanced at the two women before give them a dead stare. Ahri grinned when his gaze shifted to someone else on the far side of the room. They turned and saw Syndra floating beside Karma and Soraka as they grabbed something to eat. "I'm fighting Karma," he confessed bitterly. This was his chance to kill her for mocking him last night. He could get revenge. But if his luck held like it was so far, that was a pipe dream that he wasn't going to get. He'd get stuck with an idiot… AGAIN! "Some rat is supposed to be there as well, a lizard man, Nidalee and some other Yordle that's purple." He paused in thought. He really needed to start getting their names down.

Ahri shuddered and that got Zed's attention. Akali looked sideways with a scowl. "Lulu," they shared a shudder. Zed was curious now. Ahri held one of her tails for comfort as she explained. "Lulu is a Yordle that went to play in a forest a long time ago. It made time go by fast and she grew warped because of it. No one wanted to play with her but this one little pixie. Long story short; she changes people into animals for fun." Zed seemed unbelieving of it. Ahri snapped her fingers and a blue female in armor stopped at their table. "Shyvana, tell him how bad Lulu is." She gestured to Zed.

The half-dragon scowled and flames seemed from her body. Zed thought she was going to combust right on the spot. "That little rodent is someone I enjoy eating on the Fields of Justice and wish her death off it. She is a hyperactive child that turns me into little furry creatures for amusement." She shuddered at the thought. "Stay away from her if you want to keep your sanity." She marched off to get some food.

"She's that bad?" Zed asked. There were a lot of people here with insane magics, but a little Yordle female was not something he needed to be scared of. If she was a normal human, then sure, he'd be scared. But a little Yordle? Who feared those little shits? He stood up as his name was called. "I'll kick her god damn ass! Watch me!"

"My love, are you okay?"

Naruto glanced at the speaker and looked at her while biting his lower lip. He'd seen her before but all he could think of was Vi when he looked at her. There was a man with silver hair the defied gravity wearing a mask over the lower half of his face sitting beside her. Behind her was Sasuke Uchiha, grumbling about something Naruto didn't catch.

The pink haired girl laughed at him, taking his hand in her own as she pulled him behind her. "Where have you been all day? Don't you know what today is?"

Accepting her hand for something real, he smiled. "Sorry… I've been a little scatter brain all day."

The girl looked at him confusion before smiling bubbly. "It's your inauguration, Hokage-sama." Naruto's face fell. She didn't notice. Naruto came to a stop and she looked back at him. "Naruto? What's wrong? You've been acting weird since," her voice cut out and was replaced with a screech, "decided to make you Hokage. Are you sure you're alright?"

"I'm sorry I've just had a lot on my mind," he lied softly. He looked around for anything else that was off putting about the odd place. Was he asleep? He didn't remember going to sleep. "Where am right now?"

The girl put her hands on her hips, smiling just the same as she did before. "Well I did just tell you I'm pregnant with our daughter. I suppose you are entitled to being somewhat scattered brained right now."

"Our… daughter?"

"Yes." Naruto took a step back. The pink haired girl stepped forward to grab his hand. Naruto pulled back, terrified by her touch. "Naruto? What's wrong? Tell me what's wrong? You can trust me. I won't hurt you." Her face twisted in a sneer. Her skin pilled back. Heat washed over Naruto. "I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to hurt you. Really… Really… Badly!"

The world exploded into fire. Naruto saw bodies and scorched earth. Naruto looked around them and saw his friends. He wanted to scream. His voice died in his throat. He dropped to his knees and gasped for air. Nothing was happening. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't talk. All he could feel was fire burning against his skin. An echoing laugh boomed over the fire. Screams sounded in the distance. Naruto was shown Ionia in flames. People ran from it. Balls of fire rained down from the sky and crushed them without mercy. Naruto saw the shadow of Kyuubi in the distance. The beast howled with rage as it destroyed the capital.

"Everything you worked so hard to save I will destroy." Kyuubi's voice filtered through the noise. Naruto ran towards the shadow of Kyuubi as it continued its destruction. He passed the corpses of Annie and Gnar. "Everyone you care for will die by my hand." Soraka lay broken beside a skewered Irelia at a tree. "For all my years I've been trapped inside you, I will make you suffer just as I have." Naruto sped up faster, passing Lee Sin and Sona, both holding each other with their bodies burned black and looks of despair on this face. "You can't save them. You never could." Naruto got up close and saw Karma, Akali, Ahri, and Syndra under his paw. Syndra was reaching for him. Kyuubi leaned down and bit her head off. Naruto gasped and held his heart. "This is the beginning of your end, brat. I'm going to enjoy every minute of my freedom."

The world was blown away and Naruto gasped for air in the golden room that was the Kyuubi's domain. Kyuubi smiled behind the bars. "You're not escaping." Kyuubi reached up to the paper seal and ripped it. It didn't repair itself. Naruto could see the lock behind the paper. It was close to breaking open. A few more notches and it would be flung open by his might. "This isn't happening." It ticked and another piece in the link retracted inwards. Kyuubi smiled in glee. Naruto stood up holding his head. "This isn't happening! You're not breaking out!"

"Not yet… But I will be soon. Until then, enjoy your final moments. Cling to the belief that your will is stronger than my hate." Kyuubi shut his eyes.

Naruto snapped upwards gasping for air. A hand shoved him down and he got up again anyways. Water was given to him. He chugged it and rolled over to vomit. He coughed and rolled back onto this back. A furry hand touched his chest. He glanced over and saw the white fox from before. The black specter fox hovered inches away from him. "It's time to talk." The white female fox said.

A/N

So I've finally brought in Kindred. This is getting closer to the shit storm that ends the Journal of Justice. Right now were probably maybe three more chapters away from the ending of that, and that's only because the next few chapters are time skips. Not because I have events I wanna pass up, it's just that now I'm getting to the point where Naruto is becoming worried about fighting. Kyuubi is almost loose and Naruto knows that he's not strong enough to fight him, so he wants to stop fighting right now.

So they changed up Diana, Leona, and Pantheon's lore for a space dragon? Not really gonna complain but unless I read his stuff wrong, does that mean that Pantheon and Leona's people have him under their control? Like I'm really confused on that. Is he their slave or something? I get he's in slavery to them, but really, am I reading it right that they somehow tricked him? Any who, he looks cool and right now since this story is about to go into the main war, if I show him, it's probably just to have him appear for a chat with the First Born Warden or Warrior of Eternity since he tackles "Gods" and "Space Monsters" or whatever. Love what they did for Diana's lore but damn if it doesn't mess up what I did. Oh well, it's not like I'm following their new stuff right now anyways.

Shinji and Maria are back and they serve a purpose for something after they've done their duty now. I have a plan for them, as I have a plan for everyone associated in this war that comes up later in the story. So don't think I'm throwing in almighty OCs right now. Shinji is powerful, but really the only two almighty OCs are the First Born Warden and Warrior of Eternity, and that's because I wanted to create god like beings that are there just to pretty much make people do whatever they want. Not saying that they're capable of just showing up beating all of the champions senselessly (Which they can) but they won't because one is chained to a fate it doesn't like and the other is bound by rules that they have to follow. So really, I designed them, along with Shinji, Saito, Sophia, Maria, Savona, Kohaku, and the Dreamer to all be people in a corner where things don't go their way because the world is too different for them. They're all time travelers in a sense and it's not the world they knew. Only Kohaku has a basic understanding of it. The others have been dead or just don't care about the world anymore.
