Finally a new chapter for this story as well!
I rather like this chapter and think I did quite a good job and hope you think the same.
On another note: Have you ever felt like you've written an entire novel and it turns out it isn't that long at all? Well, that's what happened with this chapter, I'm sorry. But don't worry it has almost the same word count as the other chapters!
And now enjoy reading & please review (:

The next morning Tony's sleep was interrupted by the buzzing of his phone on his nightstand.
For a moment he looked over to where Ziva was lying, her arms sprawled out so that one of them lay on top of Tony's chest and her hair splayed out all over her pillow in the natural curly waves he loved so much.

He then grabbed his phone and checked out the caller ID.
"McGee?" His voice stated unbelievingly. "Why are you calling at this unearthly hour?" McGee knew it wasn't a good idea to wake him but Gibbs had insisted on it.
"Sorry Tony, boss told me to call you. Can I talk to you in private Tony? I mean…without Ziva listening to our phone call?" McGee spoke quietly as if afraid that if he was too loud he would wake Ziva as well.
Tony on the other hand wondered where all of this was coming from and carefully excited the bed and put the covers back over Ziva and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead before leaving towards the living area.

"I'm in the living room now. Ziva is still asleep. What is all this about McGee?" Tony's voice went straight from a calm to a hissing tone.
"Listen Tony, I did further research about our friends from Mossad and I just found out that there are supposedly some other officers in the states as well. So far we don't have any names or their positions, but we're currently trying to figure it out." He now took a deep breath.
"I just wanted to warn you. We don't know what they're up to yet, nor do we know where exactly they are. But you should be careful and have an eye on Ziva. Gibbs orders." It was silent for a brief moment.

At first all Tony wanted to do was to freak out but he quickly composed himself, knowing it wasn't McGee's or Gibbs fault.
"This is bad, isn't it?" He now whispered instead, his hands restlessly running through his hair.
"I hope it isn't as bad as it sounds. We will work on it Tony and call you as soon as we know more. Just…be careful." McGee hesitated for a moment before showing off his concern.
"Yeah, thanks Probie." His voice had visibly softened and with that their phone call was over.

To this moment Tony hadn't noticed that Ziva was standing behind him in the doorframe to the living room and looking at him through her still sleepy eyes.
He slowly made his way through the living room and once he came to stop in front of her he carefully pulled her into a hug, deeply inhaling the scent of her hair and taking in the warmth that still clung to her body.

"How long have you been standing here Ziva?" He softly whispered into her ear.
She slightly pulled back from their embrace to look up at him.
"Long enough to know something is wrong. What was this about Tony?" Ziva already feared the answer and Tony gently lead her towards the couch and made her sit down next to him.

He knew he had to do this and so he took one last shaking breath before explaining the situation to her.
"McGee just called me to tell me about their investigations. The found out about some Mossad officers still being in the states, but they don't know any details." Ziva's breath hitched at his statement and she was barely able to think clear anymore. Would this nightmare ever come to an end?

"He told us to be careful and that he would call us once they have further information. But we shouldn't be worried too much. Especially you. It's not good for both of you." One of his hands came to rest on her stomach and he tried to calm her down with rubbing small circles on it.

Ziva however was still shocked and all of a sudden jumped up and leaped towards the bathroom.
Tony immediately sensed what was about to happened and quickly followed her lead.

Arriving at the bathroom she was already hunched over the toilet and violently heaving as her body had immediately reacted to the stress she was in.

He quietly came to rest behind her and pushed the loose strands of hr out of her face and started rubbing her back up and down.
"Hey Zi, please calm down a little, it's going to be ok." His voice gave away how painful it was to see her like that and after a few more minutes she slumped back against his chest, cold sweat covering her forehead from the previous struggle.

"It's not Tony." Her voice sounded strained and he could tell she was near tears.
"What if everything starts all over again? I can't do this anymore." By now tiny sobs escaped her lips and her body had started trembling underneath his embrace.
"Shh, listen to me Ziva. I am with you and they won't take you away from me again. McGee and Gibbs will find them and solve the problem. You are safe Ziva and you are not alone in this." The reassuring words seemed to calm her down a little and soon the sobs subsided again and were replaced by small hiccups.

"Thank you Tony." Ziva had now turned around to hug him tightly once more and his hands automatically went around her waist and held her just as close as she did.

When she pulled back he could see a small smile forming on her lips which he willingly retorted.
"That's much better." He smiled. "Now how about we brush our teeth and I make us some nice breakfast?"
"Yeah, I'm starving." Ziva admitted and with that Tony carefully stood up from the floor and held out his hands to help her up as well.
They knew they would still have to face a lot of struggled in the near future, but also knew that they could count on their team and family. Always.

Yeah, I'm a little evil, I know. But seriously, did you really expect I would let them drown in fluff? ;)
