Massie Block

Massie was back at Hogwarts which means she was back to reality. She never expected reality to be so crazy though. Not only did she figure out who Nicolas Flamel was and what Fluffy was hiding, but she figured out what Dylan was hiding too. She was the lost Potter twin. Massie thought she was crazy at first, but when she saw the picture of Lily Potter she knew that it had to be true. Dylan ended up staying with Massie for the rest of the break. She said that she didn't want to face her mother after their confrontation. It was actually kind of nice reconnecting with Dylan. Plus she even studied with Kristen and Massie since her grades were struggling. She didn't tell Kristen though about who she was. She said that Josh and Hermione were the only ones who knew anything and she wanted to keep it that way until she talked to Harry.

When they got back to Hogwarts Dylan went straight to their dorm room so she could prepare herself for that very awkward conversation. Massie knew that once Harry found out about Dylan that he really wouldn't be impressed by Massie's discovery so she had to make sure she caught Harry first. She glanced at herself in the mirror. She looked well-rested and fresh faced, a nice change to the way she was looking. Now was the time. She rushed over to the boy's dormitory and made her way to Harry's dorm room.

She took a deep breath as she peaked her head in. His roommates Ron, Dean, and Seamus were all there. Ron was the first to notice her.

"Oy Massie how was your holiday?" he asked. She smiled politely and walked in.

"Splendid. I hope Hogwarts didn't get to boring for you two," Massie smiled.

"No it was brilliant. Thank you for the gift," Ron said. Massie looked over at Harry who was staring off into space.

"Well I have another gift that I'm sure you and Harry would appreciate," Massie said trying to get Harry's attention. When Harry heard his name he looked over to Massie.

"Oh hey Massie. You're all back," he said.

"Why don't you boys take a walk with me?" Massie asked glancing at Dean and Seamus.

"Um I might have to do a rain check. I really need to see Dylan," he said getting up. Massie's face fell. Dylan? Since when did he care about Dylan? He doesn't have a crush on her, does he? Because not only would that be really disturbing, but because he was supposed to be falling for Massie.

"Well I'm sure that can wait. You won't believe what I found out about that guy we were supposed to be researching," Massie said.

"Is Dylan in her room? I'll go see her," Harry said getting off of his bed. Massie began to follow him.

"But Harry, Flamel is an alchemist which is why we couldn't find anything on him. He discovered the Philosopher's Stone," Massie began to explain when the exited the bedroom. Ron was following.

"The Philosopher's Stone?" Ron asked.

"It can transform any metal into pure gold and can be used to create the Elixer of Life which can extend someone's life indefinitely. I think that is what Fluffy is guarding," Massie said.

"If someone got their hands on that they would be rich," Ron said.

"Exactly which is why someone, like Snape, might try to steal it. We should keep an eye on him, shouldn't we Harry?" Massie asked.

"Yeah sure thing," Harry said not even glancing back at Massie. Massie began to scowl. It was like he didn't care. When they got to the stairway that led to the girl dormitories Massie tried to stop Harry.

"Harry you can't climb those," Massie warned, but he didn't listen. He started to walk up them and they turned into a slide.

"Bloody hell," Ron said as Harry slid down.

"It's charmed to do that so boys don't sneak into girl rooms. I guess we are more trusted than you guys are," Massie shrugged.

"I need to see Dylan!" Harry exclaimed throwing his arms up. Massie crossed her arms. She just solved the mystery of what Fluffy was hiding and he didn't even care. All he cared about was Dylan.

"Why are you so obsessed with Dylan all of a sudden?" Massie asked.

"I just need to tell her something," Harry sighed.

"You like her, don't you?" Massie asked. She knows she probably looked like an insecure LBR right now, but she was pissed. Why wasn't her all over her, thanking her for being so amazing? This is not how she imagined this to go down.

"What?" he asked looking confused.

"You know that it like really gross if you do. I didn't think that "twincest" was acceptable overseas," Massie muttered. She immediately regretted saying that out loud. Harry's eyes grew wide, as did Ron's.

"How did you know?" Ron asked in a quiet voice. Massie's eyes widened as she turned to look at Ron.

"You knew?" Massie asked.

"Harry found out over the break. He found this mirror that showed him his family and he saw Dylan," Ron explained. Massie looked over to Harry.

"How did you know?" Harry asked quietly.

For once in her life Massie was speechless. She looked down embarrassed.

"Um I'll go get Dylan for you. I think you should probably talk to her," Massie said as she quickly went up the stairs to retrieve Dylan. She was so embarrassed. She was acting so un-alpha. She would have to redeem herself. Harry was never going to date a girl who acted crazy like that.

So far the second semester at Hogwarts was not going her way.

Massie is having a rough start, but don't think that means she will give up on her conquest to secure Harry's heart! Think of this as a minor set back. In the next chapter Dylan and Harry will talk about everything and then after that we will check in with Kemp as he helps Neville through one of Draco's pranks on him.
