Hola! Bonjour! Hello, Everybody! After watching the new Symphogear season, I feel the spark that I once had for this story grow to the point that it outblazed the flames I had for my other stories! And yes, I know 'outblazed' is not a word, but you all know what I mean! I am so, SO SORRY for the unexpected hiatus! My other stories all got the best of me, and then there was life, and new games coming out that I like to play! Speaking of, I cannot wait for Yugioh Legacy of the Duelist to come out in Switch in August! I do wonder what season I will play first... Maybe the very beginning? Maybe Arc-V? If we do other seasons, will we be able to transport the character's deck from that season to another? Are all summon methods usable in all seasons or only where they are shown in the anime? Like for Pendulum Summoning, can we use that in all other seasons but Arc-V. The format is in Link style, so maybe? I don't know! I don't know how this will work! But I cannot wait for it!

Speaking of which, I wonder if Action Duel and Riding Duels will be a thing in the game like the anime. Probably not, if the cards are all only IRL cards.

Now, enough about me! We are not here for me! We are here... for the new chapter of Circus GX! After a year and two months of nothing, I now present to you all the story once more! And I will try not to get distracted, but I make no promises! Now! That being said... Let! Us! Start!

Ah! One more thing, new cards will be seen in this chapter, in which I added and updated to in my profile.

Okay. Now let us start!

*OPENING*

Roar out through the high heavens,
(Opening starts with a red silhouette of a monster)
Wrapped in undulating emotion;
(Silhouette changed into a different monster in blue)
The truest of tones can be found here at this very spot…
(Silhouette changed once more into a yellow monster. Scene changed to Samejima's office, the man looking out the window at the sky above)

(Instrumental)
(Camera looks up at the dark sky. Title appears. After several seconds, flames extinguished it, changing the scene)

The trembling signal of pain in my heart,
(Kohaku was practicing some stunts when she sensed something and looked behind her)
Broke through many a night,
(Scene changed to Bella doing some ninja training when she also sensed something and looked at a distance)
As I searched for you – it's enough to drive me insane…
(Scene changed again to Alex running from something before he summoned Freakstar Dragon and rode on his back, flying out of the Abandoned Dorm as it exploded behind them)

Within the elegant, dreamlike sounds that float upon a double-edged warmth,
(Elie, Jacko, Tiffany, Seth, Shou and Hayato looked at a distance, watching their friends facing off against the Shadow Riders)
Entrusted tears roam throughout the sky
(Camera zoomed in to Arkham and a Rider in a black cloak. Kohaku and Kazato stares at them. The unknown rider walks away and Kohaku grabbed the cloak and pulled it off)

The more I seek this radiant melody,
(Scene changed as Judai summoned his Heroes and declared an attack)
All that's projected is more illusions.
(Asuka summoned her monsters and also declared an attack)
But the moment we know as "now" will always be what forms the miracle of tomorrow…
(Scene changed to Ryo and his Cybers, to Misawa and his 'Magnet Warriors', to Manjoume and his dragons, to various other characters and their monsters)
So I want to sing for your sake!
(Scene changed to where the Mythic Demon cards are sealed, the three monster spirits circling around the Spirit Gates)

Let everything be set free
(Darkness and Camula had their monsters battle Judai, Chronos, Ryo and Kazato's monsters)
If you have a dream for the future that you believe
(Another cloaked duelist was dueling against Bella and her ninjas)
Our resounding hearts are unstoppable!
(Misawa and Manjoume battled Tania and Don Zaloog. Alex and Asuka dueled against Abidos III and Titan)
Let's go (together), joining hands (no matter how far)!
(Arkham and the earlier cloaked duelist have a full field of monsters on their side, facing off against Kohaku. Kohaku and her 'Circus Freak' and 'Relic' monsters leapt from floating rock to rock over to them)
I won't ever let go of that smile!
(They all prepared their strongest attack and fired. Scene paused with a close-up image of Kohaku and the earlier cloaked duelist facing off)

It has been a few days since the Duel of Darkness against Camula. Since then, things were pretty much normal at school. Classes went on as usual, lunch was normal, extracurricular classes held by Kohaku's mother were going well, even the duels they were having since then were just normal, non-life-and-threatening duels. Yep. All was right with the world.

Well... All but one small thing.

"Sensei. Here are the papers you asked for," a girl in Ra Yellow's female school uniform said to Kazato. "I also stopped by the Duel Arena and tested out that solid vision machine and found it has some glitch acting up. I already informed your wife, but I do recommend holding off on much Action Duel or performances for today until it gets resolved."

"I'll keep that in mind. Thanks a lot, Camu- I mean, Camilla," Kazato thanked.

Yes... Days earlier, just the very next day after the duel, Camula, most likely through her vampiric powers, changed her appearance to that of a teenage girl the good majority of the Spirit Gate Keys Protectors' age, and transferred to their school. Shocking enough the vampire was now attending their school as a student, the reason was even more so. Apparently, thanks to the duel she had against the 'Performapal' professor, her whole world changed in many ways. And though she took to heart with Kazato's words on there being other humans who would accept her, she would not know where to start... except in the very spot where her life had officially changed in this era; Duel Academia. Of course, she also had changed her name and hide her true race from others, as she didn't want cause any sort of panic throughout the school. Either that or she did it to keep herself safe, as she couldn't really let go of her traumatic past completely. Either way, ever since she arrived as a student, she hadn't attacked anyone, as she had promised.

Oh... One other thing...

"Yes, Professor," Camilla replied to her teacher, a slight blush on her face.

Ever since the duel, Camilla may or may not have felt a small spark lit in her, one she had not felt ever since she put herself to a long sleep... Aware of this, Kate and Kohaku kept an eye on the vamp, making sure she wouldn't do anything to steal their husband/father away from them. Sure, she promised she wouldn't do such a thing, but they wanted to be sure of it.

Speaking of Kohaku, she and her two best friends watched from a distance, the performer leaning against the window.

"... I still don't kind of trust her," she said.

"We know. You've said that like a hundred times now," Alex said, as he and Bella sighed with an anime sweat drop at the number of times they heard those words for the past few days now.

"I really think it's okay to relax around her, Kohaku," Bella said. "She hasn't attacked ever since she transferred here, and it's not like she's been stalking your father or anything. I think you and your mom can be at ease."

"... I still don't trust her," Kohaku could only say in response.

"Hey, hey," Alex sighed.

Bella sighed along with him, as she faced the window and leaned against the window sill. Once she looked at the scene from the other side, a confused look formed on her face. "Is that Seth?" she asked.

That question caught the other two's attention, as they turned and saw Seth down below. The young Ra Yellow was sitting on the grass, leaning against a tree, a saddened look on his face.

"He looks kind of down..." Bella said.

"That's not a good sign," Alex stated. "We should go see what's up."

"Yeah, we should," Kohaku agreed. To her best friends' confusion, she then opened the window. To their shock... she jumped out from it... and they were three-stories high...

"Gah! Kohaku!" they cried out in worry.

Of course, Kohaku was not suicidal in anyway, as she managed to catch herself on a sturdy tree branch and swung herself safely down to the ground, landing on her feet. The moment she landed, she made her way to her fellow and young Ra.

"Hey, Seth!" she called, getting the boy's attention.

"Oh. Hey, Kohaku," he solemnly greeted.

Hearing such a tone got Kohaku concerned for him. "You don't sound like yourself. What's wrong?"

"Well-" Before Seth could answer, Kohaku was knocked down by a pair of kicks to the head.

"What the hell, Kohaku?!" Alex and Bella both shouted in unison, responsible for the flying kicks.

Angered and annoyed by the attack, Kohaku got back up from the ground and glared back at them. "What were those kicks for?!" she demanded.

"Isn't that obvious?! Performer or not, who in their right mind would ever just jump out a three-story building?!" Bella shouted.

"But it's no different from my usual acts in my dad's circus!"

"Except we are not used to these stunts!" Alex scolded. "Months of hanging out with you, and there's the thing with those assassins, and we have forgotten who you really are as a person!"

"And just how could you ever forget who a person is, period?!"

"Try putting yourself in our shoes and you'll know!" Alex and Bella shouted, simultaneously palming her straight in the face.

While the trio were doing their usual skit, Seth just sighed and stared off in space. The negative expression caught the trio's attention, as they turned back to him, with Kohaku holding her nose in pain that is.

"You're awfully quiet, Seth. What's the matter?" Bella asked.

"It's nothing," he answered.

"That sort of expression is not nothing. You can tell us anything, you know," Alex told him.

Seth remained silent, increasing their worries. Eventually, upon seeing that they wouldn't let this go, he finally spoke up. "It's my dad..."

"Your dad? What about him?" Kohaku asked.

"... He... He wants me to come home."

Everything was silent when those words came out of his mouth.

"... Huh?"

That night, Alex and Kohaku were having dinner at their dorm's cafeteria. Bella was back in her own dorm for the night. Rather than eating and enjoying what was on their plate, though, neither of the two had the appetite to even lift a food up to their lips. How can they? After what they heard from Seth.

"I can't believe Seth is being force to leave..." Alex said.

"And it's not like Hayato's case, where he was almost sent home because his dueling skills aren't that good, but because Seth's dad wants his son to run the family company," Kohaku said.

*FLASHBACK*

"Your dad wants you to go home?" Kohaku repeated in a shocked tone.

"But why? You're doing well in school, and you didn't lose a single duel since you came here," Bella pointed out.

"It's because of that he wants me to come home," Seth told them.

"What do you mean?" Alex asked.

The young boy sighed, really not wanting to tell the story. But, he wanted to be alone, and if the truth was going to get them to leave him be, then fine. "I come from a wealthy family, running a big company. Not as big as Kaiba Corp or Industrial Illusions, but enough to be at their level one day, especially for a company that doesn't focus on any entertainments. After seeing the many accomplishments I achieved, my dad saw the future of our company in me, and did everything he could to get me more focused on business."

"Which you don't want, do you?" Alex guessed.

"Far from it! But he doesn't understand! I managed to sneak away from that business boarding school he sent me to and transferred here without him knowing, but he found out recently that I had an imposter go in my place and demanded that I return home immediately."

"He can't do that! At the very least, he has to talk to the Principal about taking you away! And he won't agree to it that easily!" Bella exclaimed.

"He did," Seth told her. "And unfortunately, he even threatened to sue the academy if I don't return home."

Hearing that shocked their friends.

"He's coming tomorrow in the morning to pick me up himself, so there wouldn't be any funny business... I better go prepare." Seth got up to return to the Ra Yellow's dorm.

"But Seth-"

"Just leave me alone..." the boy weakly said, as he continued to walk to his dorm.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"I know he's smart for his age, but this is moving too fast for him. He's just a kid; he should be doing what kids his age do. Last I check, doing family business is not one of them..."

"You're not wrong about that..." Alex agreed, for he was also from a well off family. "Still, it's not like we can do anything about it, even as duelists..."

"Yeah, because, unfortunately, Seth's dad doesn't see dueling as a career. Just a 'stupid game'." Kohaku put air quotes at the last two words. "Does he even know how big dueling is these days? It's more than just a game these days."

"Unfortunately, it's not like we can do anything to get him to see that." The two felt their phones ringing and picked up. Unsurprisingly enough, they received messages from their friends, all who heard about Seth's situation. Sadly, like them, none of them know what to do for their young friend. Well, Judai was coming up with ideas, but they are all immediately shot down by everyone else, upon thinking into consideration with what Seth's dad was like.

Kohaku sighed at the lack of progress they had into. Even Misawa, who was in his room after a quick bite, tried to solve up some equations that could help them help Seth somehow. The guy said he'd send them a message if he got something, but so far not a word was sent from him. They don't know if his equations will work in real life situations as they would in duels, but it was worth a shot.

"I'm going to call it a night," Alex said. "See you in the morning."

"Yeah... Same here..." Kohaku replied.

As Alex left, the 'Circus Freak' duelist continued to try to come up with a way to get Seth to stay. But with a parent who controls his own child, and one from a big company, is there really anything she could do? This wasn't like with Hayato, or even with Manjoume and his brothers.

"You seem conflicted," Circus Freak Time Space Magician spoke, appearing by his mistress's side.

"I just don't know what to do for Seth. He obviously doesn't want to leave. At least, not like this," she told him. "And as much as I want to help him change his dad's mind, it doesn't look like that is possible at all."

Upon hearing the duelist's concern, Time Space Magician sat in a seat. "Well, this is quite surprising," he said.

"I know. Here I am; the duelist chosen to be a protector of one of the Spirit Gate Keys, who was also a representative of her school during the Interschool Tag Duel, unable to do a thing to help her friend." Kohaku's mind then went back to that one duel she had against Arkham, especially to what her opponent claimed about her. "Maybe he was right; maybe I really don't understand people as I thought I do." Those words got her spirit's attention. "Here I was, thinking I can make anyone smile no matter what the situation, wow them and help them however I can. Looks like I was wrong about that."

It was silent between the two of them, as Time Space Magician looked down at his duelist. "I am very disappointed that you think that," he said at last.

Kohaku was shocked to hear those words from her spirit. "Huh?"

"It seems you've already forgotten your many achievements during your time at this school. There is truly nothing you can do to help Seth? You still have until he leaves to come up with something." With that, he faded away, leaving his duelist sitting there in thought.

Time Space Magician thinks she could still do something? What could she ever do? The principal was already at Seth's father's mercy, and the guy clearly does not think highly of dueling, if he does not approve Seth being here. What does Time Space Magician think she would do to change the guy's mind? What does her achievements have to do with the situation at hand?

Kohaku sighed, as she got up from her spot, ready to turn in for the night. As she stood up, something dropped to the floor from her person. The 'Circus Freak' duelist looked down and saw her Gravekeeper's pendant on the floor. As she went to pick up the accessory, she realized something. "That's it!"

The next day, Seth was at the port, with his luggage by his side. His friends all stood by him, wanting to be there for his last moments on the island and/or attempt to convince his father in person to let the boy stay.

It wasn't long until the ship arrived and docked on port. The entrance extended downward, and walking down, to Seth's friends' shock, was a large, very intimidating man in a business suit. One look at the guy, and the majority had a pretty good idea why Samejima went along with his demands.

'He's huge!' they thought in unison.

Seth's father looked down at his son, look of disappointment in his eyes. He then glared over to the others, sending frightening chills to their direction. Just that one look alone, and any and all thought of even trying to talk the guy out into having Seth stay left their minds. Glancing back at his son, he spoke, in a deep, intimidating voice, "Come, son. It is time we leave."

"Yes, father," Seth spoke softly.

The demand and response was enough to snap the group out of their shock, especially one certain Osiris.

"Hey wait a second!" Judai spoke up, approaching them.

Instantly angered that the boy called out to them, thus delaying their return, Seth's father turned his way with his icy cold glare. "What?"

That one word... was unfortunately enough to send Judai's courage away once more. "Y-You... uh... You... seem to have dirt on your shoes. Let me get that for you. You're welcome," he quickly said, taking out a handkerchief and wiping away some 'dirt' from the huge man's shoes.

The others sighed at his attempt to even try to speak to the businessman.

"Aniki..." Shou spoke.

"I actually thought he would be able to at least talk to him..." Jacko said.

It was then, Bella realized something. "Alex, Misawa, where's Kohaku?" she whispered.

"We don't know. We went to get her earlier, but she wasn't in her room," the latter answered.

Not at all hearing a word they were saying, Seth and his dad walked up the stairs, when suddenly...

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" a shout was heard. Everyone turned to the source and saw Kohaku standing there, her duel disk equipped to her arm, and another duel disk in her hand. "Muramasa Seth, you better not be running away!"

"Kohaku-san?" Seth called in a questioned tone.

His father, on the other hand, looked at the performer's direction in unamusement. "Huh? Who the hell are you, brat? Don't you see my son has to leave today? Whatever meaningless game you have for him is of no importance."

Unlike her friends, as she had traveled around the world, growing up, and met many kinds of people, she was unfazed by Seth's dad's intimidation. "All I see is a duelist running away from a promise he made!" Kohaku exclaimed, to all their shock and Seth's confusion.

"Huh? What promise?" the young boy asked.

"Don't bother with such foolish person, son," his father 'advised'.

Ignoring the only adult at the harbor, Kohaku shouted, "You know exactly what promise you made! You said you wanted to duel me when you deemed yourself strong enough to come against me and my deck! Now you're here, on your way to that ship to do what? Run away?! That's not how a true duelist act at all! If you're going to leave, at the very least, see your promise to the end!"

Seth and the others were confused with what the girl was saying. The boy knew he made no such promise to the person he looked up to, so what was she talking about?

"Seth," Hydranoid called, appearing by his side.

'Hydranoid?' The boy glanced at his Duel Monster spirit in confusion. When the 'Darkus' monster looked towards the ship, mainly where the engine room was, Seth glanced over and saw Time Space Magician flying through the wall out. It didn't take long for him to find out what Kohaku was planning. However... 'Is she crazy?! There's no way dueling can change his mind! I'm already in enough trouble as is!'

"What's wrong?! Don't tell me you're scared. You may be young, but you have the skills of a real duelist compared to majority of the students on this island, and you know it!" Kohaku said, still trying to rile the boy up into dueling.

Thanks to her Duel Monster spirit, she was reminded of how she managed to change the hearts of those Gravekeepers' monsters back in the Duel Monster Spirit World. It made her realize that if she managed to have them see that dueling is not some trial and that duelists can be trusted, then why wouldn't she be able to do the same to the guy who sees Duel Monsters as a silly game? Though he would only be watching a 'game', she knew if she played her cards right, if Seth can play along to what she does, surely they both will be able to change his father's mind. Time Space Magician had done his part, now she just has to win Seth over.

"Mr. Muramasa," a voice called. Everyone looked and saw the captain of the ship walking out the vessel. "It seems we have a problem in the engine room. My crew is trying to resolve it now, but it will take a while before we depart..."

"Take a while?! What the hell do you mean by that?! Get the situation resolved now! I do not want to waste another minute of my time! Don't you know?! Time is money here! And I know I did not pay for you to delay my time even further!" Seth's father demanded.

His attitude towards the captain brought disgust to Judai and the others.

"That's cruel," Hayato stated.

"And he just said he has his crew working on the problem. It's not like they wanted a problem to occur," Tiffany added.

"Although, this could work to Kohaku's advantage," Asuka uttered out, grabbing her friends and fellow students' attention. "Think about it. There could only be one reason Kohaku is insisting on dueling Seth right now."

It didn't take them long to catch on to what she was thinking.

"You don't mean she's... trying to change his mind by watching Seth duel?" Elie asked.

"Well, that does sound like something she would do," Tiffany pointed out.

"People often understand one another better through dueling. And with how Kohaku duels, there's a chance she could help Seth convince his dad to let him stay here," Alex said.

"And all she needs now, is Seth to accept her challenge," Bella ended.

"Well, looks like you got time for a quick duel then. Come on, Seth! Duel me!" the 'Circus Freak' duelist challenged.

As much as he wanted to duel now, Seth was conflicted. If he were to accept the duel, there was no doubt his father would see him as more of a disgrace to the family, especially when he, the only child, is suppose to be the heir of his father's company, which had nothing to do with any games in any way. He knew this could his chance to change his dad's mind, but the chance of that succeeding is very low, and he knew it.

"What's wrong, Seth?" Hydranoid asked. "Why not accept the duel already? You know you want to."

'But Hydranoid...' he mentally spoke.

"Besides, it's not like you're going anywhere now. Your dad does not even know of our existence. This duel can help change his mind. Besides, he's never seen a duel in person, has he? Especially not in this day and age."

When the 'Darkus' monster puts it that way, Seth knew he was right. And like he said, he does want to duel Kohaku, and it might as well be now while he has a chance.

"Okay, I'll duel," he said out loud.

His father, on the other hand, thought otherwise. "No, you won't. You will stay on the ship and wait until it's ready to depart."

"For how long? It's not like you yelling at them is going to make the repair process go faster," Alex called.

"He's right. No matter how you threaten them or how much money you pay them, it's not going to change the fact that it may take some time for the repairs to get done," Bella agreed.

"Seth may be of our year in the academy, but he's still a kid. You can't expect him to be able to wait for possibly hours on the ship alone," Jacko added.

Hearing these teens speak against him was slowly angering the man. Though he had to admit, they were right, especially since he knew how impatient kids can be, even his own son... "Tch. Fine," he relented.

Seth and Kohaku both got to their places, activating their duel disk. Before drawing out her starting hand, the female Ra realized something. 'Now that I think about it, this is a good chance to test that out,' she thought. With that in mind, she pressed some buttons on her disk.

"Hm? What are you doing?" Seth asked.

"Give me a second..." Kohaku told him.

Seconds later, a robotic voice was heard. "Activating Action Field. Okay?"

"Okay," she answered.

"Activating Field Magic. Crossover." Next thing everyone knew, light green, floating platforms appeared around them, as did an orb of cards above them.

"Whoa! An Action Field?!" Judai gasped in awe.

"Out here?!" Tiffany followed, just in awe.

"Looks like the Action field is a success," Bella stated, touching one of the platforms and feeling its surface.

Meanwhile, Seth's father was just as astonished to see platforms suddenly appearing in the area. "What the hell is this?" he asked.

"Are you ready, Seth?" Kohaku asked, drawing her starting hand.

"Of course!" he answered.

"In that case, everybody~! Say it with us~!"

Their friends watching from the sidelines knew exactly what the 'Circus Freak' duelist meant. "Duelists locked in battle! Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters! They storm through this field! Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of dueling! Action..."

"DUEL!" Seth and Kohaku ended.

Seth: 4000 LP
Kohaku: 4000 LP

"I'll start first. Draw!" Seth drew his sixth card. "I activate the Instant Magic, Rapid Shadow! Through this card, I Special Summon Darkus Fear Ripper from my deck in Defense Mode!" Shadows appeared on the field before taking form of his Darkus Fear Ripper.

Darkus Fear Ripper: Level 4/DARK/Fiend/1900 ATK/1300 DEF

"I activate his effect! He is now a FIRE Attribute monster!" At Seth's command, Fear Ripper's color changed to red and orange.

Darkus Fear Ripper: DARK -} FIRE

"Next I activate the Magic card, Fusion! With this, I fuse the FIRE Attribute, Darkus Fear Ripper, from my field with the Darkus Vladitor in my hand! Red mysterious devil, almighty warrior! Become one and give birth to a new power! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now, Darkus Centorrior!" On the field now was Seth's centaur warrior.

Darkus Centorrior: Level 6/DARK/Beast-Warrior/2600 ATK/2000 DEF

"I set two cards face-down and activate the Continuous Magic, Branch!" Seth continued, as a gravestone of sort appeared alongside his two face-downs. "I end my turn!"

"My turn! Draw!" Kohaku drew her sixth card. "Good morning, everybody~!" Those words brought on excitement to her friends and slight confusion to Seth's father. "After a dull opening act, it is time for us to get started with the main show~! Firstly, I activate the Continuous Magic, Fast Preparation~! Through this card's effect, once per turn, if I lack any monsters on my field, I can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower 'Circus Freak' monster from my hand. Through this effect, come on out, Circus Freak Swinger~!" Kohaku's little girl appeared, on her swings.

Circus Freak Swinger: Level 3/DARK/Spellcaster/Union/500 ATK/500 DEF

"And next, I Normal Summon out Circus Freak Stilt Walker~!" Appearing next was her short clown on stilts.

Circus Freak Stilt Walker: Level 2/DARK/Spellcaster/800 ATK/1600 DEF

"Next, I activate Circus Freak Swinger's effect! Once per turn, I can equip her to another 'Circus Freak' monster I control! Swinger, Stilt Walker! Pair up~!" The moment she said that, the two monsters looked to each other and nodded, pairing together with Stilt Walker expertly standing on the girl's swing on his stilts, with Swinger hanging onto the bar with her legs.

Watching the stilt user easily standing on his comrade's bar awed everyone, as they applauded at the pair-up. Well... Everyone being the students; Seth's dad was unfazed by this act.

"Now to my Battle Phase! Circus Freak Stilt Walker, go~!" Kohaku ordered, as Swinger's swing started to move back and forth. "And here is where Swinger's assistance begins~ For the monster she is equipped to is able to attack directly~! Swinging Batting Stilts~!" Taking the momentum of the swinging, with perfect timing, Stilt Walker leapt off the bar, took his stilts in his hands, and struck Seth with them.

Seth: 3200 LP
Kohaku: 4000 LP

"And with this, I end my first act," Kohaku ended with a bow.

"My turn! Draw!" Seth drew his next card. As he drew, he could not help but feel an odd chill go down his spine. He glanced over to his father, and saw an intimidating, disappointed look in his eyes. This made the boy panic slightly, as he tried to think of a way to beat Kohaku.

As though sensing his distress, his opponent called out to him. "Seth! What's wrong? You seem a bit tense. Don't tell me you don't think yourself worthy of completing that promise. Just relax and duel as you usually would," she said.

Though the first half was all but a lie on her part, the second half of what she said did help the boy. After all, a duelist can only go so far if they panic at every turn, especially if their mind wasn't in their dueling.

Taking in a breath, he began his turn. "First I activate the Continuous Trap, Dark Menace! Thanks to this card's effect, the attack of DARK monsters cannot be negated! Now I battle! Darkus Centorrior! Attack Stilt Walker! Vortex Dark Pyrus!" Seth's Fusion Monster spun his weapon and charged at Kohaku's pair of monsters.

"I don't think so! I activate Circus Freak Stilt Walker's effect! When targeted for an attack while in Attack Mode, I switch him to Defense! I can't protect my monsters, but I can protect my life Points!" Kohaku exclaimed, as Stilt Walker went to defense and he and Swinger accepted their fate and got destroyed.

"I'm not done there!" Seth told her. "I activate the Instant Magic, Darkus Gravity! Through this card's effect, if a monster I control destroys my opponent's monster, I am able to Special Summon 1 DARK monster from my hand! From my hand, I Special Summon out Darkus Wormquake!" Now emerging onto the field was a worm-like monster with razor-sharp teeth.

Darkus Wormquake: Level 4/DARK/Insect/1850 ATK/1400 DEF

"And now I attack directly with Darkus Wormquake!" The Insect-type monster charged at Kohaku.

The girl was quick on her feet, as she jumped from one platform to another to get an Action card. "Action Magic, Miracle! This halves the damage-!"

"It's no use," Seth interrupted, to his opponent and his fellow student's confusion. "The moment Wormquake is Special Summoned onto the field, all spell and trap cards cannot be activated or use their effects. In other words, Kohaku, there is no miracle for you!"

"What?! So I can't use an Action Card?!" Kohaku gasped, as Wormquake closed in on her. The monster caught up to her and practically slammed her back down with a headbutt, causing some smoke to rise.

"Kohaku!" some of her friends cried out.

"Man, that looks like it'll do more than just hurt!" Jacko stated.

Next thing they knew, Wormquake was shot up to the sky and was suddenly forced back into Seth's hand, to the boy's confusion.

"Huh? What just happened?!" he asked.

"Whew, that was a close one!" came Kohaku's voice. Everyone looked back to the crater Wormquake created and found that there was none at all. Not only that, but by Kohaku's side was her trampoline monster. "From my hand, I used Circus Freak Ventriloquism's effect before Wormquake came in contact! By discarding it, I drew one card and activated one of his two effects based on the card I drew out! As you can see, I drew a monster and, via his effect, Special Summoned it! Everyone! A round of applause to Circus Freak Trampoline~!"

Circus Freak Trampoline: Level 2/DARK/Spellcaster/400 ATK/900 DEF

And applaud the students did, especially for the perfect timing on the monster's part.

"Oh man... I can't do anything else. I end my turn," Seth ended.

"Then it's my turn. Draw!" Kohaku drew her next card. A smile formed on her face at the card she drew out. "Now then! How about we summon out one of our many stars of today's show~? From my hand, I activate the Instant Magic, Early Performance! Through this effect, I am able to Special Summon out a Level 4 or lower 'Circus Freak' monster! Now come on, Circus Freak Spinner~!" And appearing on the field was her masked monster.

Circus Freak Spinner: Level 3/DARK/Spellcaster/1500 ATK/1400 DEF

"And thanks to this monster's effect, once he's summoned, he gains a Circus Counter for himself and his fellow 'Circus Freak' monsters~ In other words, two counters!" As she said that, a pair of flaming poles appeared, in which her monster grabbed and spun. "And now, I release these two monsters to Advance Summon the leader of my performers~!" Her two monsters on the field grabbed each other's hand, with Spinner holding his two poles in one hand, and spun around. Next Seth and the crowd knew, they dispersed into pixels and reformed into one monster. "Appear now, Circus Freak Time Space Magician~!" And on the field now was Kohaku's main duel spirit.

Circus Freak Time Space Magician: Level 7/DARK/Spellcaster/2500 ATK/2000 DEF

"Yes! There it is! Kohaku's ace!" Judai cheered.

"And with his summoned effect, he gains Circus Counters from the monsters used for his summon!" Shou added, as a pair of orbs appeared around him.

"Except there's one problem..." Misawa spoke. "His power level is weaker than Centorrior's."

"And with his effect, even if Kohaku increases his ATK, Centorrior will just take it away," Asuka added.

"True. But if it's Kohaku, she must have some idea of what to do from here," Alex said.

"I don't know what you're planning, but don't forget Centorrior can take away whatever ATK gain you give your monster!" Seth reminded Kohaku.

"I know. As Time Space Magician is now, he can't do anything to you. However, that is why we have this special card just for him~! Magic card, Spectral Performance! This card can only activate if I have Circus Freak Time Space Magician on the field. In exchange for his Circus Counters, I am able to destroy one card on the field~!" the performer said.

"What?!" Seth gasped in shock.

"Now then, Centorrior, please exit the stage~!" At Kohaku's choice of target, Time Space Magician's orbs spun around him, as he then willed the balls over to strike Centorrior.

Seth jumped from one platform to another in search for an Action card. He managed to find and get one, but was either too late to use it or didn't get the card that would protect his monster, as Centorrior met his fate.

"And once the monster is destroyed, for each Circus Counter on my ace, my opponent takes 200 points of damage~!" As Kohaku said that, the orbs then shot towards the sky, a stream of light following them. Once they reached the peak, both orbs exploded into fireworks, awing the group.

"I activate the Action Magic, Stand Up! The effect damage is reduced to zero and your turn forcibly ends!" Seth said, protecting his Life Points from being reduced any further.

Kohaku pouted at the card used. "Pooh... I guess it can't be helped. I guess we'll have to delay this act," she said.

"That's right. And because Centorrior was destroyed, Branch's effect activate! I Special Summon one of his Fusion Materials from my Graveyard! The monster I choose is Darkus Fear Ripper!" Seth's Attribute-changer of a monster appeared back on the field. "And now I draw!" Seth drew his next card. "I summon Darkus El Condor!" His totem-shaped, shaman-like monster appeared.

Darkus El Condor: Level 3/DARK/Spellcaster/1000 ATK/1000 DEF

"And with El Condor's effect, I will treat him as Darkus Hydranoid and fuse him with Fear Ripper! Great fearsome hydra, gain the power of the mysterious devil and give birth to a new power! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now, Darkus Dual Hydranoid!" And onto the field was Seth's two-headed dragon.

Darkus Dual Hydranoid: Level 6/DARK/Dragon/2600 ATK/1300 DEF

"It's Darkus Dual Hydranoid!" Hayato exclaimed.

"With that monster on the field, it's going to be difficult for Kohaku to use Action cards now. Especially with his effect," Elie pointed out.

"Battle! I attack Circus Freak Time Space Magician with Darkus Dual Hydranoid! Dual Gazer!" Seth declared, as his monster shot a pair of energy balls at his opponent.

Kohaku shot into a sprint. "Action Magic, Miracle! This negates Time Space Magician's-!"

"Stop that, Dual Hydranoid! Through his effect, if my opponent were to activate a card effect, I can negate that effect and he gains 500 ATK! Destruction Impact!" Dual Hydranoid let out a roar that prevented the glowing aura from completely covering Time Space Magician.

Darkus Dual Hydranoid: 2600 + 500 = 3100 ATK

With the boosted attack, the pair of energy balls grew bigger and struck Time Space Magician, destroying him.

Seth: 3200 LP
Kohaku: 3400 LP

"And with no monsters on your field, Dual Hydranoid's second attack will be directly! Dual Gazer!" At Seth's declaration, his monster shot another dose of his energy balls at Kohaku.

The girl managed to grab an Action card in time before the attack hit. "Action Magic, Balloon Carnival! The damage is now halved!" Suddenly appearing on the field were a large number of balloons floating about, some blocking the 'Darkus' monster's attack and lessening the damage Kohaku would've taken.

Seth: 3200 LP
Kohaku: 1850 LP

Everyone watched as all the balloons float about in wonder, mesmerized by the many colors around them. With the sun reflecting them, it also gave off some lovely colors around the area, much like a disco ball would.

"Whoa! How pretty!" Judai exclaimed.

"Bet any kids watching this would be real happy," Alex stated.

"I feel my inner child wanting to come out just looking at them all," Bella said.

"I as well," Elie agreed.

They weren't the only ones. Seth was a kid himself still, after all, and wanted to reach out to at least one of the balloons, but held back from that. "I-I end my turn! You have no cards in your hand and you only have a Continuous Magic! You can't keep relying on Action cards either!"

"Ho? You really think so? Let's test that theory. Draw!" Kohaku drew her next card. "I summon Circus Freak Dancer in Defense Mode!" Kohaku's dancing monster appeared on the field, pulling off some moves.

Circus Freak Dancer: Level 2/DARK/Spellcaster/600 ATK/1200 DEF

"And it is here I will end my turn." As soon as she ended her turn, Kohaku jumped up some platforms and began her search for an Action card.

"You're not getting an Action Card! Draw!" Seth drew his next card and also ran to search for an Action card. "I activate the Magic card, Ghost Strike! By banishing one Magic or Trap card in my Graveyard, I can use its effect! I will banish and activate Fusion! With it, I fuse Darkus Dual Hydranoid on my field with Darkus Wormquake in my hand! Fearsome two-headed hydra. Drain the power of your comrade and reach a new level! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now, deadly demonic hydra! Darkus Alpha Hydranoid!" Now on his field was Hydranoid's final form.

Darkus Alpha Hydranoid: Level 8/DARK/Dragon/3000 ATK/2000 DEF

"Battle! I now attack Circus Freak Dancer with Darkus Alpha Hydranoid! Indigo Nightmare!" His Fusion monster let out a roar in preparation for his attack. "And with Alpha Hydranoid's effect, since he's battling a Defense Position monster with less DEF than his ATK, he is able to deal piercing damage to my opponent! Final Demolition!" Alpha Hydranoid's three heads fired their most powerful attack at Dancer and Kohaku.

The 'Circus Freak' duelist managed to spot an Action Card on the edge of a platform and grabbed it. "Action Magic-"

"Action Magic, Crush Action! This destroys all cards in my opponent's hand and, for the rest of this turn, any Action card added to any one's hand is destroyed!" Seth quickly countered just before Kohaku could activate her card. An arrow shot towards the card in her hand and destroyed it. Following that was Alpha Hydranoid's attack striking Dancer, creating an explosion that made Kohaku lose her balance and fall off the platform. Due to Dancer's effect, though, the dancing monster still remained.

Seth: 3200 LP
Kohaku: 50 LP

"Kohaku!" Alex cried out in worry.

"This is not good!" Jacko said.

"She's only at 50 Life Points. Unless if she can get rid of Alpha Hydranoid somehow, I don't see how she could win this," Misawa said.

"Then she might as well give up," said Seth's father, as the students all turned his direction. "Just look at her. Struggling there, and for what? All she's doing is delaying the inevitable. She'll never win against my son. And once he's done with her, he can focus on our family business, good riddance."

None of the teens were at all amused with the guy's attitude towards the duel. Just that alone clearly showed how little he thinks of Duel Monsters, in more ways than one.

"That's where you're wrong!" Tiffany spoke up. "Kohaku will turn this around, just wait! She's not one to give up, after all! Especially not when someone is not doing what many performers look forward to when they put on a show!"

"Oh? And what exactly would that be, little girl? Faith that all goes well for their little act?" Seth's dad questioned sarcastically.

"If that's how you think of performing, then how about taking a good look at the remainder of this duel. You'll be surprised," Bella told him, as they all looked back to the duel at hand.

Back on the field, Seth looked at Kohaku with saddened eyes. "Kohaku... Thank you, I guess..." he spoke. "I really did want to have this one duel against you, and now I did. I'm really glad my last duel is-"

"Stop," Kohaku interrupted, getting back up, rubbing her lower back in slight pain. "You're making it sound like you have this duel won already. I thought you of all people know, Seth. A duel is only over when it is; no exceptions! Besides, I'm not going to count this as a duel between us, now will I ever. Not because of the large difference in life points or because of how the field looks."

"Words of a weak coward," Seth's father called out. "You claim a duel is only over when it is, and yet you say that next part as though you have already accepted your fate. Face it like you do reality, already! This is not something you can run away from!"

"This coming from the guy who never pays attention to his son?" Kohaku retorted. "I may not know of the situation between you two, and I don't care. But when I see a family not acting how they should, that is what I will never turn a blind eye on!"

The adult's eyes narrowed dangerously. "What?"

"You're suppose to be Seth's father, aren't you? Then why aren't you acting like one? Of what I heard, you haven't been so fatherly to your own and only son! It's a parent's job to be there and support their children no matter what! And yet all you seem to care about more is your company and its future, not Seth's!"

"Utter nonsense! I am his father! All I do is for his future! And I do not see how a silly game like this will ever benefit him! How those two gaming companies made it big, I don't ever know, nor will I ever want to! Child's games like this is pointless, and I am surprised how many people are making a career just by playing this game!"

"You say all you do is for Seth, when not once since you arrived here have you said his name at all!" Everything was silent as soon as Kohaku pointed that out. "If you really do care about him, even a bit, as a father, why don't you call him by his name? You want to take him home? Then fine! But don't think you can just separate him from the thing he loves most, or the friends he made with! Muramasa Seth is not just your son. He's not just an heir to a company! He is, and forever will be, a student of Duel Academia, a member of Ra Yellow, and an amazing duelist!"

With each word coming out of her mouth, Seth felt like he wanted to cry, especially as tears started to form in his eyes.

"It's like Kohaku said!" Judai agreed.

"If you still want to take Seth away, then you can. However, you can never take away the thing that makes Seth who he really is!" Alex said.

"No matter what you do, Seth will always be one of us! No matter how far you drag him away from us!" Bella exclaimed.

"Once a duelist always a duelist," Asuka said. "You can never take one's duelist spirit away from them!"

"And now we will show you, Mr. Muramasa, how far our spirit takes us!" Kohaku ended, turning back to her opponent. "Time to finish this, Seth! Draw!" She drew her next and possibly last card and looked at it. The second she saw the card she drew, the whole area darkened up, with a spotlight lit on the female duelist. "Hola~! Bonjour~! Hello, everybody~!" Those four words were enough to rile up her friends in the audience. "Welcome to the climax of this show~!"

"What the hell is she doing now? Whatever it is will be pointless," Seth's father claimed.

Ignoring his belief, Kohaku continued her thing. "Currently on my field is the lone Circus Freak Dancer~ However, he shall not be busting a groove alone, for a friend will come his way~! With a 'Circus Freak' monster on my field, I Special Summon out Circus Freak Assistant!" Kohaku's trump card of a monster appeared on the field.

Circus Freak Assistant: Level 3/DARK/Spellcaster/1000 ATK/1000 DEF

"And thanks to his Special Summon effect, for each empty monster zone on the field now, I get to draw one card! There are four on Mr. Seth's field, and three on mine. Therefore, I draw a total of seven cards~!" Kohaku drew a new hand.

"All right! She has more cards in her hand!" Tiffany cheered.

"And with it are more options!" Elie added.

"And now, I Normal Summon out Circus Freak Copycat~!" The mysterious, unidentified monster appeared on the field.

Circus Freak Copycat: Level 1/DARK/Spellcaster/0 ATK/0 DEF

"Like Mr. Seth's Darkus El Condor, Copycat is also able to sub himself for another monster for a Fusion Summon! And I declare him to be... Circus Freak Animal Trainer~" Removing his cloak, Copycat turned into a double of the original declared monster. "And now I activate the Magic card, Acrobalance! With it, I am able to do a Fusion Summon~! And with this card, I will fuse the double of Circus Freak Animal Trainer with Circus Freak Beast Tamer from my hand~! Two guides to beastly creatures. Combine your abilities and give birth to a fearsome leader! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now, feral performer with the heart of a lion! Circus Freak King of Beasts!" Appearing on the field from Copycat and Beast Tamer was a manticore-like, humanoid monster in performer's clothes. Its head a body was that of a lion, with large dragon wings and a long scorpion tail with spines. It also had an extremely dangerous-looking whip in his hand.

Circus Freak King of Beasts: Level 8/DARK/Spellcaster/2800 ATK/2300 DEF

"Whoa! A new beastly monster!" Judai exclaimed.

"But his ATK is not strong enough," Asuka pointed out.

"King of Beasts' effect! When he's Fusion Summoned, monsters my opponent controls come to my side!" Kohaku exclaimed, to everyone's shock.

"What was that?!" Seth gasped, as he looked around and found an Action card nearby. Wasting no time, he jumped to the card and activated it. "Action Magic, Detour! This negates the effect of my opponent's monster and deals 500 points of damage to them! This is the end!" Just as King of Beasts swung his whip down, the weapon seemed to have a mind of its own and went on to Kohaku.

"If a card is to inflict damage to me, I activate Circus Freak Flame Artist's effect from my hand! I Special Summon this card and negate the damage!" Kohaku's chubby fire breather appeared and blew flames at the whip, scaring it off.

Circus Freak Flame Artist: Level 4/DARK/Spellcaster/1600 ATK/1400 DEF

"Furthermore, I take no further effect damage this turn!"

"Whoa, that was close then," Jacko said, letting out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"And now in my Graveyard, I activate Acrobalance's second effect! By banishing this card, I can banish monsters in my Graveyard to do another Fusion Summon! I will banish Circus Freak Time Space Magician with Circus Freak Swinger~! Performer who controls time and space, become one with the young swing master and give birth to a new light that vanquishes the evil darkness! FUSION SUMMON! Appear now, arcane magician with ancient power! Circus Freak Rune Magician!" Appearing now was Kohaku's multi-attacker of a monster.

Circus Freak Rune Magician: Level 8/DARK/Spellcaster/3000 ATK/2200 DEF

"And with Acrobalance's effect, though Rune Magician no longer has his effect, he gains 1000 ATK!" Kohaku's monster's orb glowed, granting him more power.

Circus Freak Rune Magician: 3000 + 1000 = 4000 ATK

"Now Kohaku will be able to defeat Seth!" Alex exclaimed.

"I won't let that happen!" the young Ra declared, as he rushed to another Action Card and grabbed it. "Yes! Action Magic, Painless! This turn, Alpha Hydranoid cannot be destroyed by battle!" A barrier appeared around Seth's lone monster, protecting it from its destruction.

"Oh man! Kohaku's so close!" Shou said.

"But look. Her eyes... This duel- no, this show, is not over yet!" Elie told him, noticing the confident look on Kohaku's face.

"Magic card, Perform Assistance activate!" the female Ra continued. "For each Circus Freak Monster I control, a card on the field is given 1 Circus Counter! I have Dancer, Assistance, King of Beasts, Flame Artist, and Rune Magician for a total number of five counters! Adding those to the one Circus Counter Dancer received when Alpha Hydranoid attacked him previous turn, he now has six counters!" Along with the sparkling red dancing shoes he had on, Dancer now donned sparkling red gloves, baggy pants, shirt, cap, and cane.

"But even so, what's the point? Rune Magician is the only one that can deal damage to me!" Seth pointed out.

"That's not true. The stage is all set up. It is time for the Grand Finale~! From my hand I activate the Magic card, Galactic Spacial Show!" The moment Kohaku activated one of the two remaining cards in her hand, the scenery in the area had changed.

Rather than the harbor they once were in, everyone was in space! All around them were stars and planets, with some asteroids floating about.

"Whoa! We're in space!" Judai excitedly said.

"This is new!" Jacko exclaimed.

"She's really stepping this up now in her dueling style," Asuka stated in awe.

Even Seth's father was slightly amazed at the sudden change in scenery, as he was now sitting on top of an asteroid.

"Under this card's effect, I move a number of Circus Counters from one card to any other cards on the field! Circus Freak Dancer has six counters; time to share them all, Dancer~! Everyone, dance along with him~!" And dance they did, Kohaku and her monsters, as well as Darkus Alpha Hydranoid. Watching them dance happily like so made their friends dance along with them. As they danced, Circus Freak Dancer lost the counters he just received, and all the other monsters on the field gained their version of the counter on their person.

"But even so, what is the point?" Seth asked, a smile formed on his face.

"On the turn this card is activated, neither player takes Battle Damage from battles involving monsters with a Circus Counter, and monsters with those counters cannot be destroyed," Kohaku continued, much to everyone's surprise as she finished her dance.

"But wait! If that's true, then how is she going to win?!" Bella asked, knowing that once Kohaku does her thing, it usually means the duel is at its last.

"Let's go! Entering the Battle Phase! With today's team of 'Circus Freak' performers, watch as they perform a breathtaking attack~! Working alongside them is none other than today's guest star, Darkus Alpha Hydranoid!" As Kohaku said that, Seth and the audience looked and saw the counters on the monsters glowing. The glow slowly spread all over the monsters as they soared high in space, each leaving a sparkling trail of different colored lights following them.

As they soared, each monster hit some stars, which all bursted into multiple other stars or sparkles. Stars that bursted out collided with each other and exploded in a sparkling array of fireworks made of light. Some were shaped as stars, others as constellations, and the rest as planets or galaxies.

"Whoa!" Hayato gasped in awe.

"Pretty," Elie stated.

"Awesome," Judai breathed out.

Eventually, the monsters all collided, creating a burst of rainbow light that blinded everyone, causing them all to cover their eyes. Once the glow died down, they lowered their arms and saw the monsters standing before them, each on top of a space ship that fit each of their size, as they gave a bow to their audience.

Seth, for the first time since even before the duel started, let out a happy, enjoyable laugh. "Wow! That was so cool!" he exclaimed.

"If you think that is cool, wait until you see this!" Kohaku said. "At the end of the Battle Phase, if monsters with Circus Counters battled, those monsters are banished, and my opponent takes 100 points of damage times their total level! Darkus Alpha Hydranoid's level is 8. In this exact order, Circus Freak Dancer, Assistant, King of Beasts, Flame Artist, and Rune Magician's levels are 2, 3, 8, 4, and 8. In total that is 33. In other words, Mr. Seth, you will be taking a grand finale total damage of 3300~!"

Just as Kohaku said that, the monsters all got into their individual spaceships and flew around in space. As they flew, their ships started to glow brightly and turn into dazzling rays of lights, much to everyone's awe. Once the rays of light struck the center of a galaxy high above, another burst of light occurred that rained down on everyone, and brought the duel to a spectacular end.

Seth: 0000 LP
Kohaku: 50 LP

WINNER: KOHAKU!

Once the duel came to an end, everything was back to normal. Kohaku approached Seth, who found himself on his butt, too amazed with his opponent's duel skills. In fact, the young boy was so amazed, he was suddenly laughing in pure joy and amusement. He may had lost, but he really and truly enjoyed the duel.

"That was fun! I knew dueling you would be awesome, but that was more than just awesome!" Seth exclaimed.

Kohaku was just glad she was able to put on a pure smile on her friend's face. For all she knew, her plan did not work and this may be his last duel. She might as well let his last be an unforgettable one.

"Leave it to Kohaku to bring the duel to an awesome end!" Judai cheered.

"Yeah. But..." Jacko trailed off, as he glanced over to the reason why the two duelists were having this duel.

This caused the others to turn to the lone adult amongst them. Seth's father's eyes were shadowed, but his neutral frown was still on his face, as he got up.

The second he stood, Seth turned to him, his smile lost, but not as sad as before. Just when the boy picked himself up and grabbed his luggage, his father spoke.

"That was disappointing, Seth. I expected better from the heir of my company," he spoke, to the teens' shock. "I thought I raised you better than this. You seem to have forgotten that a Muramasa can never lose, no matter what. Until you become number one of your year, remain in this school." Those words raised the kids' shock even more.

"Do you mean...?" Seth spoke.

"Don't fall behind in your studies," was all the adult said, before boarding the ship.

Those words were more than enough of a confirmation with what the guy was saying.

"All right! Seth can stay!" Judai shouted in a cheer, with everyone else also cheering in sheer joy for their friend.

"Nice going, Seth!" Kohaku said, snatching the kid in a headlock and ruffling his head.

"Wha-?! Hey! Stop that!" he cried out, getting out of her hold. "It wasn't me. I'm sure that the reason my dad changed his mind was because of you, Kohaku."

"What are you saying? True I managed to pull off an amazing duel, but that was because you're my opponent. If you hadn't accepted and put me in that bad of a situation, your dad wouldn't have changed his mind." As she said that, the others joined the pair.

"We should do something to celebrate for this!" Tiffany suggested.

"Oh! Sounds like a good plan!" Jacko agreed.

"Then how about a party at Obelisk Blue dorm?" Judai asked.

"You do know we can't do reservations in the cafeteria, right?" Asuka asked.

"Besides, our dorm room is not big enough for this many people," Bella added.

"There you kids are- na no ne!" came a familiar voice. The teens turned and saw Professor Chronos rushing over to them. "Do you kids have any idea what time it is- na no ne? The principal may have granted you permission to be late, but that does not mean you can skip out on classes for today- na no ne!"

When he said that, the group realized and remembered one other thing about today... It was a school day. One look at the time on their phones, and they could not believe how late it got, for they skipped all their classes for today.

"Uh-oh..." they all said.

"Detention! Detention for all of you-na no ne! Even the Obelisks and my own daughter- na no ne!" Chrono cried out tears as he reluctantly added that last part.

The teens didn't care, though. If anything, detention was worth it.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Man, did it feel good to be back here... Where was this spark during the past year?

Which speaking of, to those of you... co-writers so to say, who are helping me progress through with your OCs in this season of the story, just in case because a lot of stuff happened in the past year, as I am sure you may understand, I would love it if you can send me information about said OC(s) for this particular season. I would love to go back to the messages, however there are a lot of messages and I, for lack of better words, am quite lazy to sort through them all to find ALL the things we spoke of for them. That, and I went back to try to find information regarding this particular chapter earlier when I decided to go back into it and... Let us just say I remembered why I postponed this story for so long.

SO! To prevent that from happening again in any way, shape, and form, if you all can please send me the information we spoke of once more, in a new PM, that would help me out a lot. Same will go for those of you who I promised will have their OC debuted later in this season or in the next season. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this will benefit the both of us if you do. And please... unless if there is a lot of information or if it is OC card(s) information, please, please, PLEASE! Do. Not. Spam. I much rather not want to reuse the reason for the story's hiatus to go on another hiatus. To one certain fan of this story, you know exactly what I mean, and I hope you do not jumble up information in any way, shape, and form.

That being said, I will see the rest of you next chapter! And I promise you all, there will be a next chapter soon! ... Maybe in another month at most due to other stories, but soon!
