Hi guys! As promised, this chapter only took a day - yay! - but, um, I told you this chapter was gonna be brittana fluff and cuteness and all but it .. Isn't? Really? This is sort of just a fun chapter, but the next one will be fluffy, promise (: well, parts of it. I hope you like this one though, I enjoyed writing it.

I swing the door open.

Santana stands a few feet away from me, bright smile on her face. I close the door behind me and walk up to her, but suddenly I notice she's looking a bit suspicious. Her one hand is hidden behind her back, and she's smiling mischievously.

My eyes widen and I frown at her. I carefully take a step back. "Santana .."

She nods innocently. "Yes, britt-britt?"

"Um .. What'cha got there?"

She smirks at me. "Where?"

"Behind your back ..." I say cautiously.

"Oh" she smiles. "This?"

In one quick movement Santana's hand appears, and I'm too slow to duck away. A cold ball hits my shoulder and I gasp, looking up at her. I shake my head.

"Oh no you didn't"

She winks at me "Oh yes I did"

I quickly kneel down and grab a handful of snow that I throw in her direction. She dodges it and throws one at me again.

I laugh when she misses and I walk up to her.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, discreetly collecting a bit of snow off of a bush.

She shrugs "Visiting"

I smile, nodding. "Oh.. Fun"

She smiles back and tugs her scarf a bit tighter. I take advantage of the moment that she's not paying attention to throw another ball at her. I hit her this time.

She turns to me and gasps, brushing the snow off her coat. "Britt!" She exclaims, laughing.

I grin at her. "Now we're even"

She shakes her head and walks closer so she's standing in front of me, before smiling and wrapping her arms around my waist. I smile softly and pull her into a hug. Her hair tickles my nose, and her coat is cold and wet from the snow, but I absolutely don't mind.

"I missed you" she murmurs into my scarf.

I hold her a bit tighter. I sigh softly and close my eyes. "I missed you too" I whisper.

And I did, I really did. No matter how fun it was with Emily, or how much I like celebrating Christmas with my family and receiving gifts, Santana was always on my mind. Not one day passed that I didn't think about her.

I loosen my grip on her so I can see her face. "I'm sorry" I mumble. "For yesterday. I should've called you"

She frowns and shakes her head. "No, you shouldn't have" she replies as she lets go off me. "I was just being silly, you don't have to worry about me"

A big frown appears on my face. I shouldn't worry about her? "Santana, what are you talking about?" I ask confused. "Of course I worry about you, you're my best friend!"

She looks up at me, and I can't tell if her smile is sad or playful. "Just your best friend?"

My lips curl into a small, shy smile, as I softly shake my head. "No .." I mumble. "But I want you to be okay"

I can see her gulp. She looks at me through her dark eyelashes and smiles. "I'm okay now"

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yeah" she nods. "I'm sure"

"Okay. Well, good" I say.

She giggles and I can't help but to think that she's so adorable. I want to shake off the thought, but then I realise, it's okay. I can think such things now. I could even tell her these things, but I don't.

Not yet.

I want to keep these thoughts to myself for a little longer.

When I look at her again, she's frowning, slightly biting her lip. She's thinking. Suddenly she looks up.

"Do you want to build a snowman?"

A bright smile appears on my face. "I thought you'd never ask"

We collect snow from all over the front yard to make our snowman. Santana attemps to roll a giant ball for the body, but she keeps tripping over her own feet. After laughing at her for a while and receiving a look, I head over to help her. Side by side we push the huge ball of white snow through the grass.

"Is that big enough?" she asks me as we stand up straight again.

I look between Santana and the ball and laugh. "It's almost as big as you" I giggle.

I receive a slap on my arm in return. "Shut up" she pouts. "That's so not true"

I smile at her.

Yeah, she looks adorable again.

"It is true though" I tease. I softly pinch her cheek with my fingers. "Aw, you're so tiny and cute" I laugh.

She scowls at me, but I know she's not really mad. I call her tiny all the time, she's used to it. She also just looks really cute when pretending to be mad at me.

"C'mon" she calls me out of my thoughts. "Our snowman doesn't have a head yet"

I chuckle and follow her around. We roll another ball and I place it on top of the first one - Santana wanted to do it but she was too small, so I teased her and eventually did it myself -.

"So" she says to me. "Now we have two balls"

I chuckle "Yup"

She nods. "He's not ready yet."

I shake my head, and walk around the snowman, before realising she said he. It's a snowman. It's always a snowman. I look up at her. "Why aren't we building a snowwoman?"

Santana laughs lightly, before realising I'm serious about my question. "Oh" she frowns. "I don't know, why should we build a snowwoman?"

"To break the stereotype, of course! People only make snowmen!"

She laughs at me. "You want a snowwoman, Britt?"

"Yeah" I nod.

She smiles. "Okay, let's make it a snowwoman then"

I beam at her and tell her to come with me. She follows me inside. "Okay" I whisper, standing in the hall. "What do we need?"

She bites her lip. "Nose"

I nod. "Right. What else?"

She hums a bit and then looks up. "Well, arms and stuff. And eyes."

"And hair" I say quietly.

"Yeah" she smiles. "And lips" she says, a tiny smirk on her face. I can't help noticing that she glances at my lips, briefly raising her eyebrows at me, and I can't help glancing down at hers.

I gulp. "Yeah" I croak.

I clear my throat and avoid her gaze. She looks amused.

"C'mon" I whisper.

She follows me to the kitchen, my parents are sitting in the living room. "Britt" Santana asks. "Why are we whispering?"

I frown and walk over to the refrigerator. "If my mom catches us walking around the house with our snow-covered boots, we are so dead." I whisper the last words dramatically, and she chuckles.

"Okay"

I open the refrigerator and grab a carrot. "Also" I look at her. "I don't know if I am allowed to use this"

Santana laughs, but when I sign to be quiet she covers her mouth with her hand. I close the refrigerator and triple over to the doorway. A stifled laugh escapes Santana's lips and I smile at her, before heading to the front door. Santana follows me outside.

"Ooh can I do it?" She asks me when we get outside. I raise an eyebrow at her, smiling. She shrugs "Well .. You got to do the head, so .." She mumbles, slightly embarrassed.

What a cutie, getting excited about a carrot.

I chuckle and hand her the vegetable "Go ahead" I smile. "If you can reach it" I add with a smirk, and she gives me a playful push.

"Shut up" she murmurs. She takes the carrot from me and shoves it in the middle of the snowman's - sorry, snowwoman's - face. It stands a bit crooked, but it's okay.

"Great!" I say. "Let us continue our quest." We go inside again and I tell Santana I have some stuff in my room we can use. We walk up the stairs, avoiding the squeaky steps, and we walk into my room.

I look around for a bit. "What did we need again?"

Santana took off her boots and coat, she's sitting on the floor in front of the closed door. She playing with the hem of her sweater when I call her. She looks up. "Hair, mouth and eyes" she says. "Aren't you hot in that coat?"

I grin at her "I'm always hot" I wink.

She rolls her eyes. "Yeah okay, but you know what I mean"

"Oh" I smile, raising my eyebrows "so you're not disagreeing with me?"

She sighs softly, smiling. She gets up and walks up to me. "Of course not" she replies.

Her voice is different, flirty. And that look in her eyes, and that sexy smirk ..

"So" she continues "aren't you hot?"

"I uh - no" I say. "I'm still kind of .. Cold"

I'm not lying. In fact, I feel myself slightly shivering. On the other hand, that might just be because of Santana.

My mouth is dry. I swallow hard when she steps closer and slowly starts unzipping my coat. "Well" she says flirtatiously. "If you're cold, why don't you let me warm you..?"
