After Severus had slowly turned and walked away in what Draco could only describe as a dazed state, he went to find Lynn. Though he was nervous to tell her what had happened he knew it was the right thing to do.

Right after he got to her bedroom door and before he had gotten the chance to even knock the door flung open and his girlfriend was in his arms.

"I'm so glad you're ok." She mumbled into his shoulder. He smiled into her hair.

"I can't describe how happy I am to be back" He stated holder her tighter. Once Draco let go he took her by the hand.

"We have to talk." She moved back and stared at him

"You found something… what was it? Is it about our family? Did your father find out about us?" He just stared at her unsure of how this news was going to come across.

"Lets go in your room and sit down." She nodded and they walked over to her bed ignoring a sleeping Harry across the room.

Draco then explained what he had seen at Malfoy Manor. When he was done Lynn had a similar reaction to her fathers. Shock, unsure of what to say or do, how to proceed. After a second she stood up and started walking for the door. Draco quietly followed and once they were out of the room he asked.

"Where are you going?" Lynn turned to look at him, her face scrunched in confusion and concern.

"I'm going to find my father. We need to come up with a plan." Draco nodded as they walked through the house and over to Severus's room but without knocking Lynn turned and headed downstairs. The next room they tried was the drawing room, and again Lynn had the same reaction. Thankfully third time was the charm and the teenagers found Severus in the music room. He was sitting on the couch across from Dumbledore not saying a word just sitting with this hands folded in front of his face while he leaned his elbows on his knees. Lynn sat next to him and placed her hand on his knee.

'At least now we know.' She thought. Severus did not respond. He didn't even think he could communicate with his daughter without breaking out in tears, and that was absolutely that last thing he wanted her to see.

Sensing this might be a good time for Lynn to give her father some space Draco calmly suggested that they give the two men the room.

'Lets go sit on the front porch Lynn. I think your dad needs a minute.' Reluctantly she agreed.

Once the kids left and the door was tightly locked and had a silencing charm placed on it Severus broke down. He could barely breath he was crying so hard.

"How didn't I know?!" He half asked half growled.

"How could I have let her be trapped by him for so long?!" The irate man stood up and started pacing with his fists clenched beside him.

"I let him steal my family for far to long! This must end NOW!" He stopped and stared at Dumbledore who was still calmly sitting on the couch watching his friend.

"How can you just sit there? We need to do something, we need a plan!" He yelled.

"I agree, but first you need to take a breath and start thinking logically. If you go in there full of anger it will only end badly." Though Severus knew he was right, in that moment he didn't care. All he wanted to do was find Lucius and torture him. He wanted his former friend to feel all the pain that he had caused him and his family these past several years.

"What type of stone is it that she is in?" Dumbledore asked as Snape sat back down.

"A blood stone, Nina had given it to Lynn on her 6th birthday, she never took it off. I can't believe I didn't realize it was gone."" Sev said as he ran his hands through his hair.

"Before we can do anything we need to make sure we have the right spell to get her out safely. Besides, there were more important things going on at that time then the loss of a child's necklace."

While the men were working out the details outside on the porch Lynn was pacing.

"I want to do something, I need to help. Why wont he talk to me?" She asked Draco as she walked back and forth along the front porch.

"Before I can answer you really need to sit down, you're making me dizzy." Lynn huffed but sat down anyway. Draco pulled her over to him so her back was leaned against his chest and his arms were wrapped around her waist.

"I couldn't imagine being in your father's shoes. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you the way he lost your mom. But then so many years later to find out that his former best friend had kidnapped his wife AND daughter. Honestly he must be a wreck. No one and I mean NO ONE is strong enough to mentally handle that." Lynn took a deep breath.

"I know you're right, I just hate feeling so helpless and useless." She stood up again and started pacing. As she thought about everything that happened the anger inside of her swelled to the point where she needed to release it. In a split second decision she decided the best way to do that was to punch a wall.

"Holy shit!" Draco yelled as he jumped up from where he was sitting on the steps. He had never seen her do something so violent.

Lynn pulled her hand out from the wall, admired the hole she had created and decided that now would be a good time to go beat up other things. She knew that it would not be a good idea to go out into the woods so instead she went into the training room. Draco followed her in total shock and confusion. He remembered seeing her in strange clothes the night he had arrived but he had never seen her act like this. The young man never even thought she was capable of acting in such a way.

Once they arrived Lynn changed into her pants and tee shirt with a snap and wrapped her hands before going to town on a punching bag.

"Where the hell did you learn to do this?" He asked amazed at how fast and strong she seemed.

"My father has been teaching me for years. He never wanted me to be one of those normal pure blood housewives." Draco nodded in understanding.

"What about you Drake, do you know how to fight without magic?" He huffed.

"Of course I do." She raised an eyebrow at his defensive tone.

"Prove it. Try and punch me."

"I'm not going to hit you!" He yelled.

"I didn't tell you to hit me, I told you to try." She laughed at his confidence.

"If you wont fight her, how about me." They both looked up at the unexpected voice to see Harry standing in the doorway.

"I heard what happened. I figure you are trying to distract yourself so I thought I would help." He explained while walking into the room.

"Now YOU I know I can fight." Draco stated in regards to Harry. Both Snapes laughed.

"Ok I'll make you a deal, I get to fight the loser." Lynn said as she sat down against the wall. She knew it was the only way to get Draco to agree to learn.

"Deal" both boys said in unison.

Though Lynn was hoping for a show she was surely disappointed. Harry knocked Draco down in two punches. The blond could not block to save his life.

So Lynn walked over to help him up.

"Come on let me show you a thing or two. Not everyone is going to fight with magic. You need to be able to defend yourself against a physical attack as well."

As Lynn showed her boyfriend how to properly form a fist, punch correctly and block an oncoming attack Draco realized how much more amazing she was then he ever realized.

'Why thank you.' Lynn smiled

'I didn't realize I was thinking so loudly.' Draco blushed.

"Boys, could you give us a minute please." The teenagers were broken out of their thoughts as the elder Snape walked into the room.

Both boys nodded before leaving Lynn and her father alone.

Seeing her father and the weary look still on his face Lynn finally broke down. She ran over to him and buried her face into his chest. Though he was never a big hugger in this instance he held her tightly, fully understanding where her pain came from.

"We're going to get her back, I promise. Dumbledore and I are going to figure this out." Lynn pulled away and nodded as she grabbed a towel to wipe her face.

"She is so close but we still can't reach her."

"I know, but we will. I will bring your mother home. " She nodded with tears still in her eyes.

"Now go upstairs take a hot shower and try and get some sleep." Lynn did as she was told and headed out of the room.

Severus stayed in the room for a moment and took a deep breath silently praying to anyone who would listen that he could find his wife in time. He then spent the rest of the night in his library doing research to try and find the right spell to save the only women he truly loved.

That night Lynn dreamt about her mother. She was at Hogwarts in the front hall, her mother was at the top of the first flight of stairs. No matter how hard she tried to reach her she just couldn't seem to get up the last set of steps. Then just as she thought she was going to make it Lynn felt a tap on her shoulder. When she turned around Lucius Malfoy was standing there with an almost demonic grin spread across his face. This made Lynn wake up with a start.

"Are you ok?" Harry asked as he walked over to his closet. It was now morning and light was shining into their room.

"Yeah, I just had a nightmare. I'll be alright." She lied. Inside she was trembling.
