"Damn it, I knew something was off."

"Do you think Vivi and Luffyko are alright?"

Zoro turned to look at Nami and nodded, "Luffyko is stronger than these guys and Vivi is with her she will be fine."

"As long as she doesn't fall for the same trick we did." Nami sighed and looked up as the team from Whiskey Peak came toward them, "What do you two want now?"

Miss Valentine started her high pitch laugh, "You will see!"

Mr. 5 dragged the two into a clearing and then pushed them to the ground. He smirked as his former enemy was now beneath his heel. "To think I was defeated by this low class bunch. It's embarrassing, I'm ashamed of myself."

Zoro glared at the foot grinding his face into the ground and then looked up to see the other man. Mr. 3 as he was called looked down on them, "That is because you are weak."

"What was that?"

"It was nothing, hurry up and put them on the candle set."

"Set?" Nami asked and then wondered what the true purpose of the candle in front of her, "What is that thing!"

"Nami, Mr. Bushido!" Vivi cried out as she felt responsible for their situation. She thought back to Luffyko and sent a prayer that she still lived after their encounter.

Nami looked around and didn't see her captain, "Vivi, weren't you with Luffy?"

Vivi looked away from the two it was all her fault, "Yes…but…"

"If you mean Straw Hat, I finished her off. It was an easy job."

Zoro couldn't believe it. Luffyko would never lose to this man, she already had defeated him with ease. Why was this time different? He tried to break the candle binding him but couldn't and soon found himself standing next to Vivi and Nami. "Vivi, what did he mean by he finished her off?"

Vivi looked down as she felt tears gather, "Dorry had pinned her under a giant rock so she wouldn't stop the fight. She couldn't move when they showed up. They crushed Usopp and then he kicked her. It's all my fault, but she just kept edging him on…he kept kicking …"

Zoro looked at the man who dared to touch his captain. He wouldn't stand for this. He watched as Brogy tried to escape and failed. His rage grew as Mr. 3 gloated about his achievements. If only he could kill them all…if only he wasn't trapped.

"Oh no, I can't move my hands! I don't want to die like this. Isn't there anything we can do?" Nami asked as she stared in horror as her body turned to wax.

"My body is hardening!" Vivi cried out in terror.

He didn't have much time, but he would need help if he was going to go through with this plan. Luffyko was injured and he was the only one who could save Nami and Vivi. "Hey giant, you can still move, right? I can still move too. Feel like killing these guys with me?" Zoro pulled his sword 'Even without my legs I can still fight. I won't lose to these weaklings.'

Nami looked at him as he drew two swords, "Zoro what are you-Wait! You're not-"

"Yeah"

"Cut off your own legs?! Stop joking around!"

"No joke, it's the only way we'll get out of here. What's your decision?"

"It's hopeless!" Vivi cried out trying to get the swordsman to listen to reason, "Even if we manage to slow them down we will get recaptured easily!"

"How do you know if you don't try? We're going to die here anyway. Why not make it ugly and struggle a little?" He asked with cruel and confident smirk. "There ain't no reason to die so easily against these worthless scum!"

"You're bluffing."

"Right there is no way you could bring your self to do such a thing! Stop with the tough guy act!" Mr. 3 said feeling a small bit of panic as the swordsman smirk grew.

Nami felt despair as she realized Zoro was ready to chop his legs off, "You are serious! How do you think you are going to fight without your legs?"

"I dunno, but I plan on winning." He took a deep breath as everyone watched with their own opinion on what he was about to do and then brought his swords down. However, when he heard a scream he hesitated and when he looked up, he saw his captain with Usopp and the princess's bird. He smirked as he put his swords away. He had been right, there was no way Mr. 5 could beat his captain.

Luffyko glared at the men before her, "I'm GOING TO KICK YOUR ASSES! Let's go Usopp! Bird!"

Nami couldn't help but cry out in happiness, "Luffy! Usopp!"

Vivi felt relief as she saw the three, "Carue!"

"Master Brogy, we are going to avenge your suffering!" Usopp said as he walked towards the group.

"Just bet them to a bloody pulp, till they're full of holes, then send them flying!" Nami cried out, finally feeling a chance for victory.

Luffyko walked up cracking her knuckles, "Yeah, that's what I plan on doing. They ruined the giant's duel."

Mr. 3 looked over the small girl before him, "So it's you, the girl with the highest bounty in the East Blue. Marine Headquarters must have lowered their standards."

Luffyko looked at the man and then gasped, "You have a weird head!"

"Shut up!"

"Before that, Luffy, destroy this pillar! We're about to become wax figures!"

Luffyko looked up in surprise, "What? You were in trouble?"

"Nah, no big deal." Zoro said as he hung his sword over his shoulder.

"Wait a minute your legs!" Nami cried as she looked down and saw blood.

"Oh, I only got about halfway through."

"How is that no big deal?"

Zoro ignored her and focused on his captain giving her a confident-don't care about me-kind of smile, "Anyway Luffyko, mind destroying this pillar first. I'll leave the rest to you."

Luffyko gave a nod, "Whatever that thing is, destroy it first."

Usopp nodded in agreement and targeted the pillar, "Gotcha."

Luffyko looked over everyone and felt her rage begin to rise as she saw the giants lying half dead. However, watching her friends turn to wax wasn't the worse of it. Zoro was bleeding and that was unacceptable. "Alright, let's go."

Mr. 3 glared at the girl who was ruining his art. Ever since she showed up his captives had relaxed and began to joke around. "She doesn't seem particularly reliable, if you ask me."

"Mr. 3, let us finish her off." Mr. 5 glared at the girl he was sure he had killed. Why wasn't she dead, and how was she no longer pinned under that rock?

"Finish her? You must be joking, look at her. Your attacks had no effect. Thus she stands before us, alive. Someone of your level obviously cannot handle this girl. You two deal with the others. I will add Straw Hat Luffyko to my wax figure collection, personally."

Luffyko watched as Carue and Usopp hid in the woods and then turned as Mr. 3 began to drip wax. He swung his arm and the wax towards her and it created a lock around her legs making her fall to the ground. Everyone cried out for her, Zoro the least worried just stated his surprise, "What she got caught already?"

Luffyko looked at the wax around her legs, "What is this stuff? It's as heavy as a hammer." She ignored Mr. 3 as she tested the material and then smiled, "This is perfect!" She saw Mr. 3 making another attack and quickly dodged then use the giant as hold as she spun to gain her speed before crashing the lock into the pillar breaking it. "Lucky! The hammer on my feet broke off!" She looked over to see if her crew had been crushed and was relieved to see they were all still fine, "That was close why didn't you move?"

Zoro glared at her as Vivi and Nami as they yelled at her they obviously couldn't move. "Ah I guess you're right, but you told me to break the pillar! Were you kidding?"

Vivi glared at Zoro, "Mr. Bushido can we really trust this person with our lives?!"

Zoro couldn't shrug any longer, but he had already put his life in Luffyko's hands since they first traveled together, "Well at this point we don't have any other choice. My arms already hardened."

Luffyko turned and looked at the swordsman and then heard Mr. 3 laughing about them turning into wax figures, "Oi, you guys are turning into wax statues?"

"That's what we've been trying to tell you!" Nami cried out.

"Please break this, Luffyko!"

"I told you not to interfere!" Mr. 3 yelled as he shot a wax harpoon at the girl.

Luffyko dodged and saw Usopp shoot Mr. 5. She didn't have time to goof off, she had to finish save her friends, she had to save Zoro. "Okay that pumpkin thing is what I need to hit." She said as she shot her hands back behind her, "Gum Gum Bazooka!" She yelled as she smashed her hands forward only to hit a wax wall. She glared at Mr. 3 and his interference, "Oi, get out of my way!"

"I must say that is my line. I must insist that you refrain from interfering with my art." He glared and shot another candle lock catching the girls arm.

Luffyko however gave a grin at the new addition to her arm, "I got a new hammer! Gum Gum Pistol!"

Mr. 3 quickly threw up another wall and watched in horror as it broke and continued into him. Luffyko on the other hand stood up with a smirk, "My friends aren't for your art."

"Luffy, hurry up and break this thing!" Nami called out when the girl's smirk vanished.

"No."

Nami looked in horror, "What do you mean no? Quit joking and do it!"

"No."

"Luffyko, this is no time to be joking around! Hurry up and break this!"

Luffyko stared at them blankly, "Why should I? I don't wanna save you guys."

Nami looked at the girl in horror, "What are you saying? Luffyko we are your friends! You said we were sisters!"

"Color trap."

Nami glared at Miss Goldenweek, "This is your fault!"

"Color trap, betrayal black. Once you touch the black paint no matter how precious your friends may be, you will betray them."

"What does that mean?"

Zoro listened to the explanation that Vivi gave and then groaned with frustration, "That simpleton is even more susceptible to suggestions than a normal person!"

"So as long as she is on the paint she is under her influence? Luffy! Move off the paint!"

"No, Luffyko do NOT move off that paint. We do NOT want you to save us."

"Vivi! Why would you say that?"

"No." Luffyko said as she stepped off the paint.

"I get it saying the opposite of what you want will make her 'betray' you."

"That was weird…I felt kind of different for a minute." Luffyko said as she returned to herself. She looked up and saw her friends and quickly went into action, "Hold on-BA HA HA HA." She looked at them again and continued laughing, "Now that I think about it, I think I'm going to laugh about this some more."

"Why?" Zoro groaned as the girl was laughing a yellow mark clearly on her back."

"Luffy take off your vest!" Nami ordered when she saw the mark.

"I can't! I'd rather laugh!"

"Damn, at this rate we only have another minute or so. Luffyko snap out of it!"

"I don't think that worked…" Nami said with a groan as the captain continued to laugh, until screams were heard and Usopp and Carue were running around trying to escape Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine.

"Are you all here to play around!" Zoro demanded as the duo ran into his laughing captain sending them into a small pile before the two dashed off.

"Look the paint got smeared!"

"You did something to me again." Luffyko accused the small painter as she stood up. "You knock it off, you jerk!"

"Was my color trap fun?"

"SHUT UP YOU STUPID BRAT!" She growled and turned back to the pumpkin, "Anyway I've got to crush that pumpkin! GUM GUM-"

"Color trap, brilliant red"

"BAZOOKA!" Luffyko frowned as her attack went straight for the red colored in front of her, "Huh?"

"WHAT ARE YOU AIMING AT!" Zoro screamed as his lovely idiot of a captain.

Luffyko was also through with this child messing with her head, "That's it, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! GUM GUM BAZOOKA!" Again her attack hit the circle, every time she tried she always ended up back at the circle. "DAMN IT!"

"Now combine a little red and white and color trap, love pink."

Luffyko blinked and then ran forward, "I don't know what that was but, Gum Gum-"

"Sweet little straw hat, come over here."

Luffyko froze and then skipped over to Mr. 3, "Hey let's play tag!"

"Um I was going to-"

"Then let's do a staring contest!"

"No please listen, I want you-" Mr. 3 stopped talking when he felt her sitting on his shoulder, "Get off of me!"

Luffyko did so with a grin and gave him a playful whack on the shoulder that nearly felled him. "Of course!"

"Are you sure this one is working, Miss Goldenweek?"

Zoro felt a growl coming up but stopped when he heard Nami start to laugh, "What on earth is so funny."

"Luffyko, she is acting like she does when she is around you! They have no idea what's coming!"

Zoro watched and then felt warmth flow through his chest, "I wonder if he can stand her love."

Mr. 3 was not ready in anyway for the attention the monkey girl gave him. "Stop this, do you care about me at all?!"

Luffyko froze and felt tears come to her eyes, "Of course I do!"

"Then do as I say or I won't care about you anymore."

Luffyko nodded sadly, "Okay, what do you want me to do?"

"I want you to turn into a pretty little candle. Think you can pose for me nice and pretty up there?"

Luffyko grinned and nodded happy she could do as he asked. "Of course!" She skipped up to the platform and then paused, "How should I pose?"

Mr. 3 rolled his eyes and ignored her and then began talking to Miss Goldenweek, "This one is a simple-minded idiot."

Zoro looked at Luffyko and shivered, she had pure rage coming off of her. I reminded him of Whiskey Peak. "Oi, Nami…remember how you said Luffyko was jealous of the girls?"

"Yeah?"

"She's jealous…we might just win yet."

"Who the hell do you think you are!" Luffyko screamed and bolted towards Mr. 3 landing a solid punch knocking him into the ground. "I may be defective, but I don't have to-"

"Color trap Soothing Green."

Zoro groaned as Luffyko sat down and sip tea. "Well glad I got my pose all ready."

Usopp and Carue bolted into the clearing to see everyone covered in wax and Luffyko drinking tea. "Luffyko…YOU DUMBASS!" He saw the green mark and prepared his shot he quickly fired hitting Luffyko before getting hit by Mr. 5's attack. "No bullets…Carue are you okay?" The bird let out a pitiful squawk before he turned his attention to Luffyko. "Oi, you snap out of it yet?"

"Yeah…I'm back…thank you." Luffyko said as she stood up.

"That last attack burned off the paint on her shirt…" Miss Valentine figured out with disgust.

"That's not all it burned off." Mr. 5 said with appreciation for the slim girl before him.

"You ain't going to control me with that weird paint anymore! I ain't letting any one of them die! I'm real pissed now!"

"By the time you got mad, your friends have been reduced to this state. Why don't you just give up and make some new friends? I'll play nice."

"NO WAY! THEY ARE STILL ALIVE!"

"I don't know about that, after Miss Goldenweek paints them they will be perfect wax figures. You're too late to save them Straw Hat."

"That is indeed correct. You're too late, now taste despair of my attack." He laughed as a wax armor covered his body and he gave an ape like roar.

"What is he doing?"

"This is what earned him his high bounty…care to give up now? I'll take good care of you."

"Whatever."

"Miss Goldenweek artistically paint me, then stay out of the way. In this form I am unbeatable the wax is impenetrable, therefore I have no weakness!"

Luffyko couldn't help but admire the armor he had created, "So cool!"

Usopp felt the need to shake common sense into the girl, "Don't admire him! Fight him!" Then he got a good look at her, "Luffyko, your vest!"

Luffyko looked down and screamed, "NAMI'S GOING TO KILL ME!"

Usopp ran over and hit her in the head, "You just noticed?!"

"Quit playing around…" Mr. 3 paused and stared as Luffyko took advantage of his pause to attack, "Nice try, but your feminine assets aren't that destracting!"

Luffyko frowned as he blocked her attacks and went again until Usopp called out to her. "Huh?"

"You have to melt the wax! No matter how hard it may be it is still wax! Even if they have hardened we still have some time!"

"Really! That's great!"

Mr. 3 glared in anger and prepared his attack as Mr. 5 struck Usopp down before he could strike. "USOPP! Damn it there's no time." She went to punch Mr. 5, but Mr. 3 snuck up on her and crushed her beneath his glove. Standing no time she quickly returned to her feet and returned to the fight as Usopp and Carue began to make their move. "I am going to enjoy my new pieces of art."

"Do you really think I will let that happen! They won't lose their lives to someone like you!" She reached down and grabbed his strange burning hair, "If it takes fire to melt, I will use this one right here!"

"Luffyko, that flame isn't strong enough, light the rope Carue has! It's soaked in oil!"

"Alright! Everyone wake up!" Luffyko watched as it went up in fire and kept a foot firmly on Mr. 3, "Wow, what a big fire. Are they going to be okay?"

"No, of course not you cursed Straw Hat. How could you ruin my precious candle collection set! You'll pay for this!" He cried as he escaped his ruined armor.

Luffyko looked at her crew and turned away, she had to have faith they were okay. However, she had to take care of their revenge. "Bird let's go." She took off into the forest, "Those cowards, they ruined the giants duel. He trapped Nami and Vivi…He tortured Brogy…but he forced Zoro to cut his legs. I'm never going to forgive him. He is no man!"

Suddenly, Mr. 3 or at least his wax statues surrounded her. "So you've come at last little Straw Hat lass. Seems you are fine walking around showing yourself off. How like a pirate, no class."

"What the hell."

"Well can you tell where I am, I wonder? You were unwise to follow us. We are Baroque Works most intelligent combo. A power-idiot like you who moves on instinct has no chance at beating us. I am Mr. 3 and I carry out my assignments to the letter. Please step right on in. But if you happen to turn your back on me, your heart will be pierced through in that very instant."

Luffyko didn't blink at that threat. Instead she drew back her leg and landed a powerful kick into his face. "How did…you know…I was there." He stuttered out.

"Instinct." She was about to turn away when she saw Miss Goldenweek try to slip out, however, Carue took care of her. "Good job Birdie, let's head back to everyone. I hope everyone is okay." She walked back and walked into a rainstorm. She watched as Brogy cried over his friend until Dory sat up. She watched as the two talked and then began to get into another fight, "Yeah! Fight!"

"Knock it off already!" Nami yelled when she looked at her captain, "Oh Luffy."

Luffyko froze and turned when she saw Nami's devil smile, "It was Usopp's fault!"

Vivi gasped when she saw the captain's assets again, "Usopp took off your shirt?"

Zoro growled and quickly slid his shirt over her. "Those bastards saw you."

Luffyko felt warmth go through her body and then latched on to him, "I kicked his ass!"

Vivi laughed as she saw the girl climbing up onto his shoulder, "So Nami was right. This is how you act when you love someone!"

"Love?"

"Ya, during the battle Miss Goldenweek put you under love pink, which makes you act like you are in love. You acted the same way when you are with Zoro!"

Luffyko fell off his shoulder, "LOVE!? What even is that? Isn't that when girls become unable to do anything but drool over some guy?"

Nami gave a worried glance at her captain, 'Vivi pushed her emotions too much…this could ruin their relationship.' "Ow!" She yelped as a bug bit her, however, it also drew attention away from Luffyko. "That was a nasty bite!"

"Thanks for the help you guys, it's been so long we forgot about the bounties placed on us." Dorry said with a chuckle.

Vivi looked up at the kind giants and then at her worn out friends, "This is all my fault…I'm sorry."

Nami grabbed her cheek and pulled it, "It's not your fault. No one is blaming you see?"

Luffyko nodded and then stretched out her hand, "Yeah, have a rice cake."

Vivi smiled and then watched as Luffyko and Usopp got in an argument and started fighting. "Is it really going to take a year for the log pose?"

Zoro sighed as the group tried to figure out what to do when he heard Sanji calling out for Nami. "Great the love cook has found us."

"Sanji!"

Sanji breathed a sigh of relief that everyone was okay, "You are all okay!" He saw the giants and glared, "Hey are one of you Mr. 3?"

Nami blinked in surprise, "How do you know Mr. 3?"

Sanji turned and then saw how little Nami was wearing, "Nami! You look so nice in your outfit!"

"Say that again." She threatened then blinked in surprise as he took off his jacket for her. "Thank you."

Sanji glanced around again and then saw the state of Nami and Vivi. Then he saw his captain, "My dear Luffy why are you wearing that shitty swordsmen shirt?"

"Ah Usopp caught it on fire. Although it was probably about to go after all of the kicks Mr. 5 landed." Luffyko said laughing about the mess they had been in.

Sanji and Zoro shared a mutual bloodlust for Mr. 5. It was a good thing for him to have snuck off when he did. Sanji frowned then sat down, "Well while you were fighting I was talking to Mr. 0. I managed to convince him we were dead, so no one should be chasing after us."

Usopp felt relief and then remembered they couldn't go anywhere. "So no one is going to kill us now that we are stuck here!"

Sanji looked at him in confusion, "We can't leave? I even went through the trouble to get this….ah guys?"

Luffyko was the first to snap out of the relief/shock given by the log pose, "An eternal pose to Alabasta! Now we can set sail! Well giants its been fun, but we got to go!"

"We will help you out. Here we will take you to your ship, it will be faster that way right?"

Sanji sat next to Zoro on a different shoulder than Luffyko, "So moss-head what is up with the captain?"

"What do you mean?"

"She's not cuddled up next to you. In fact, since Whiskey Peak she has been acting strange."

"Nami said it's…you know…it's that time." Zoro struggled out as his face grew red from embarrassment."

Sanji smirked but nodded his agreement, "Well she should be good in a day or so…can't imagine it taking much longer. Well just don't do anything stupid, ladies can be sensitive during 'that time'."

"Well…there might be more now."

"What?"

"Vivi said she thinks Luffyko is in love with me. When she said that Luffyko got upset."

"Of course my sweet Luffyko couldn't love you! She's a precious jewel." Sanji stopped his praise when he saw the glare Zoro gave him. He looked at Luffyko and frowned, he knew the girl cared deeply for the swordsman. Was it love? "Luffyko is very naïve, I doubt she understands an emotion as deep as love."

"She said it's when girls are unable to do anything. If she thinks she is in love with me I'm worried she will act differently around me." Zoro clutched one sword tight hating that he was sharing his worries with the cook, "I care about her a lot, I don't want her to change things."

Sanji felt honored that the swordsman had opened up with his feelings, he would never tell Zoro that, but he was still honored. "I will help out if I can. As much as you don't deserve her…you are the best person I know of."

Zoro gave a smirk, "Was that a compliment?"

"Shut up you shitty swordsman, I can still kick your ass for not protecting Nami and Vivi."

Nami looked over and saw the two fighting, "Hey knock it off, we are about to go!"

A short while later they were ready to go. Luffyko watched as they grew nearer to the ocean and watched as Dorry and Brogy stood on either side of the river they had traveled up. "No matter what keep going straight. Leave everything to us!"

"Okay!" Luffyko cheered as they continued only to see a giant goldfish sea king appeared. She listened as they began to talk about what to do. "We go straight." She sat on the front as they entered the mouth and then watched as the two giants destroyed it. "Thanks giants! Now on to Alabasta!"
