Alright guys, I have decided that I will try my best to upload this story every Friday from now on, but don't blame if I didn't update this one as I said because I have some college business to deal first. Anyway, enough talk! Let's get on with chapter 37 of Sonic the Magister Hedgehog!

Tournament Arena

"Ladies and Gentleman, thank you for waiting! The second match of the quarter finals is about to begin!" Kazumi shouted at the mic as both Blaze and Tails stepped up into the ring with full of confidence. "You will not regret coming into this arena because these two contestants are very special and they will blow your mind!" Kazumi said as she gestured towards Tails first. "In this corner we have a very smart kitsune who just beat our favorite champion last year with devastating attack. Please welcome contestant Tails!" The crowd cheered at the kitsune as Tails shyly waved at them. "In the other corner we have a beautiful cat but not only that, she was one heck strong girl and you don't want to mess with her. Please welcome contestant Blaze!" The crowd cheered again as Blaze with her coolness waved at them. The 3-A students were watching these two characters in enthusiasm as they eager to know how much strength does these two have besides Sonic. Sonic meanwhile was watching on the audience arena to find out which one of his friends is the strongest.

Kazumi was about to signal the start of the match but stopped when Blaze patted her on the shoulder. "Kazumi, I suggested that you move out from the arena. I don't want you to get hurt here," Blaze said.

"But I have to be watchful of the fight," Kazumi responded. "Make sure it's fair."

"Don't worry Kazumi-chan, we will be fair," Tails interrupted. "Besides, me and Blaze are always fight fair, am I right?"

"fufu, yes, we always do," Blaze chuckled.

"Alright then, Blaze, Tails-kun," Kazumi said as she walked away from the stage. "Just make sure that the fight will be fair."

Blaze and Tails turns towards each other as they stretched themselves so that they can enjoy this fight without any interruption. "Hey Blaze," Tails spoke up. "What do you think we should do? Should we use our full power or not?"

"Well, Sonic said that we should enjoy this, so I would say let's give it all we got here," Blaze replied as she finished her warm up. "So Tails, let's begin to see which one of us is the best."

"Heh, I would love too Blaze," Tails said with a smirk as he got himself into his fighting pose as did Blaze.

"Let the match begin!" Kazumi shouted and loud bell rung throughout the arena grounds, signaling the start of the match.

As soon it begins, both character dashed towards each other and trading blows towards each other with such a speed that almost anyone couldn't follow their movement, except to some people who is experienced like Sonic and Negi. As both of them clash their fist in stalemate, both of the animals jump high towards the sky and fly on it. Tails didn't have to use its tails anymore since he can now fly in the air thanks to the Chaos Emerald inside his body, the same goes to Blaze as well.

"Take this!" Tails yelled as he concentrated his energy on his hands. "CHAOS BUSTER!" He throws his energy towards Blaze who is also used the same method as him. As both of their skill clashed, a massive sound of it can be heard as a result of it. After few seconds, both of their skill ended up in stalemate once again.

Tails used his speed to appear behind Blaze's back, but the purple cat anticipates his movement by using her kick towards him. The kitsune used his hands to block her attack as he was move away from his position a bit. Blaze then dashed towards him and used her flame kick, creating a wave of flame as the spectator gasped by what they just saw. As the wave was finished, there was no sign of Tails's whereabouts as the kitsune appeared from her back and used another skill of his.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" He throws his concentrated energy towards Blaze, to which she deflected it with her bare hands. As a result the spear exploded in the air, but the explosion was quite massive that the spectators couldn't believe what will happen if they were hit by those thing.

Appearing 50 stories above the ground, the super powered animals were seen locked in a fast, incredible battle above the heads of the audience. Their fists clashed in an amazing show of force, everyone gawking at the very sight. Though they have seen a lot of flying and action, this one certainly took the cake. Tails and Blaze try their hardest to landed their fist and kick towards each other, but both of them were extremely good fighters even Sonic himself was amazed by their skill.

'Sweet! Both Tails and Blaze just simply awesome!' Sonic thought in enthusiasm.

After their clashes were over, both of them landed on the arena perfectly fine and there was no sign of exhaustion at all. The Mahora group were awe struck, gaping at the battle they were witnessing. Sonic meanwhile know that his friends were just warming up and not too serious. "Impressive Tails," Blaze said. "You have grown up a lot ever since our first meeting."

"Hehe, please don't say such embarrassing things like that Blaze," Tails replied in modest. "But I think we should start get serious, what do you say? Besides, I'm already ready for this."

"Very well, then let's begin," Blaze closed her eyes. All of sudden, in a flash of blinding light, Blaze powered up. Balling her fists, she let out a shrill cry of anger and pain as her flame aura exploded around him. In a whirling wind of ferocity and an outstanding display of flashes, Blaze transformed, with her body was covered of flame and her appearance was more elegant than before. She transformed herself into Burning Blaze! Tails did the same as Blaze does as he transformed into Super Tails, with his body covered in golden form and was surrounded by some golden birds.

The crowds were gasped! They just witness the transformation of animals to which they cannot describe how powerful they are. Even Kazumi was unsure of what she saw "Wh-What is going on?" Kazumi shouted. "Tails and Blaze had suddenly transformed into their new form. This is…unbelievable!"

On the audience arena, the Negima group was also gasped by what they just saw. Even Negi was also in the same reaction as them though he already saw Sonic's transformation, but for Blaze's case, he just simply awestruck. "I-Is that Blaze's transformation, Sonic?"

"Yup, you got that right," Sonic replied. "This is Blaze's transformation, and I must say her power form was elegant compared to mine, and is still the same as ever."

"I-Incredible," Setsuna said in awestruck as she cannot describe the new beauty of her tutor. "To think Blaze-sensei has so much elegant on her new form. Looks like I gained more respect on her." The other Negima crew simply nodded on swordswoman statement about Blaze's transformation.

The two super animals glaring at each other, waiting for the chance for the opening. A few seconds passed by with the crowd silent in anticipation except for the chirping noise coming from the blazing aura. As the sound of breeze passed by, both of them dashed with extreme speed, clashes their blows once again. This time around it was fast that even the crowd couldn't see as before. Even Negi has hard time to follow their movement. All of sudden the mage teacher noticed that both of the animals now are in the mid-air, trading their blows towards each other.

"A-amazing! This is just simply outstanding folks!" Kazumi shouted at her mic. "These two contestants were fighting their best towards each other. These two were simply special!"

On the fight, both Blaze and Tails backed away from their position to gain some distance. Blaze used this opportunity to use her skill. She concentrated her flame towards her finger. "FLAME BEAM!" The beam launches from her finger with such a speed that Tails couldn't do anything but blocked it with his arms crossed. As the beam connected with him, it creates a quite explosion that makes the ground shake a bit. Some of the audience was begin to panic as a result of the ground shaking. When the dust was over, it reveals Tails who were covered in bruises, but he was still perfectly fine since he has already through worse.

It was Tails's turn to attack as he teleported himself towards Blaze inches away, surprising the flame-purple cat. The kitsune concentrated his energy on his palm and placed it on her body. "CHAOS BURST!" Blaze couldn't help but have to defend herself from close-ranged attack as the wave of energy coming out from Tails's palm. As a result of it, Blaze was backed away from her position and she was now in the same state as Tails does, with addition of her coat was tainted a bit.

The animals decided to use classic method as both of them dashed towards each other again and trading blows again, but this time it creates a massive shockwave created by their flame and golden clash. The crowds meanwhile were awestruck by the display of these super animals, even the Negima group were in the same reaction as they are. As for Sonic, well he's enjoyed this fight from his two friends.

After their clash was over, you can see that both Tails and Blaze were reaching their limit, even though there was no sign of them. "Hey Blaze," Tails said. "Do you think we should use our new transformation? I want to try against you if I can."

"That would be good idea, but I don't think this is the right place to do it," Blaze replied. "Who knows what will happen if we use our new transformation here? Innocent people will be dragged in this."

"Yeah, you got a point there," Tails responded in modest. "So how about the final blow? We both reached our limit and this blow will determine which of us the best."

"Fufu, I have the same idea as you are Tails," Blaze chuckled as she begins her fighting stance. "Very well, let's do this then! Our final blow!"

Both of the animals now concentrated all the remaining their energy they have left towards one last blow. Moments later, both of them glared at each other and nodded for the sign to do it. "LET'S GO!" Both of them shouted as they dashed towards each other with their fists powered up from their remaining energy they have. When their fists just inches away contacted towards each other, a sudden loud bell was heard across the tournament grounds, causing everyone to look around for that noise, including both Tails and Blaze who stopped their movement with their fists inches away from their faces.

"Hmm? What was that sound?" Blaze asked in wondered as she and Tails stopped their movement.

"That was the ending bell! The match is over!" Kazumi shouted.

The arena was silent for a few seconds until a loud scream was heard. "EH!" Everyone shouted.

"You've got to be kidding me!"

"Come on, they both just want to finish this awesome fight!"

"How can you simply stop them?"

"Listen, I don't make the rules but it was stated that the matches are 15 minutes long and we have just reached tha tmark," Kazumi explained. "Trust me. I didn't want this match to be over either but rules are rules."

"Oh my, to think we were just going to finish this fight," Blaze sighed as she turned back into her normal form, and so does Tails. "Tails, did you know about this?"

"Well I do, but I have never thought that we forget the time limit while we were fighting," Tails replied while scratching his back.

"I see. Well anyway, it was a nice fight for me," Blaze replied with a smile as they landed on the arena and waiting for the result to come.

"Since this first match to use that rule resulting in a draw, we will have the audience decide the winner of the match through via text messages and e-mail," Kazumi explained. "By now, you should be receiving an e-mail in your phones, explaining the instructions. Please begin voting now!"

"By the way Tails," Blaze said towards the kitsune. "If any one of us goes against Albireo, do you think we should our new transformation next time?"

"Well I don't know about that," Tails replied. "Regardless, I think we should wait for the opportunity to come, but we should use it in case of emergency."

"I see. Well, me and Sonic will be rooting for you if you go against him," Blaze said with a smile.

"I will do the same as you Blaze," Tails also replied with a smile.

Meanwhile, Kazumi received a sheet of paper as she began to walk back to the clearly battered and almost destroyed arena floor. Yeah, both Tails and Blaze were simply awesome! "The votes are in!" Kazumi shouted in the mic. "And the winner is…"

A/N: Yeah, CLIFFHANGER! Man, I just love doing this now, don't I? Sorry if ended up here without telling who is the winner, but truthfully, both Tails and Blaze were simply awesome when I'm writing this chapter, so is very hard for me to decide as well.

Anyway, as you can see, this is the first time that both the animals transformed into their super form as Sonic didn't do that first against Eva earlier on. Don't worry about this because you will see more about their super form as the story progress.

Okay, here's the next fun fact.

Fun Fact: The manga Negima has been made into anime in several terms. In addition, it also been made towards games as well for PS2, GBA, and Wii.
