SPARKLE OF A NIGHT

Chapter 31. A Spark For Ever After

A dainty glow peeks over the horizon. With it, life rises and greets the Kingdom of the Enchanted Forest once more.

Very slowly, the extensive and beautiful woods are revealed, the charm and color of the village and the grandeur of the castle are renovated, and so, too, the top of the waves of the lake and the sea which reflect a bright path when they all are lighten by the sun of the nice morning.

Gradually, the iconic flowers of the region open their petals to greet with their unique fragrance; the smell of the pines of the forest and the scent of the fresh breeze of the sea awake as well to travel throughout the streets of the small town, to later envelop the castle with their exquisite essence, only for it to go far beyond the Kingdom's borders later.

It's a new day, a new clear sky and a cheerful spirit for what is expected to be a day full celebration:

Today the land is going to witness their beloved Princess Emma finally getting married ... for nothing more … than love.

With the first rays of light reflecting on every surface, a great movement is seen since the early hours of the day.

Women and men spend their morning free from their daily tasks - which were completed beforehand - in order to have time to make themselves more than presentable when they attend the official ceremony at the castle grounds - to which they were invited by their always kind and humble rulers, King James and Queen Snow.

All the while, in the castle, the wedding preparations continue. The last details are accurately adjusted:

In one of the most enchanting royal gardens - now as the wedding venue - servants move from here to there with enthusiasm: Fresh and beautiful flowers are placed in exquisite and valuable vases, clean and sparkling tablecloths are placed on the tables and a delicate and translucent fabric is being hung on a lovely gazebo.

Meanwhile, inside the castle, there is great excitement and movement alike. The servants walk in all directions, making sure to attend the guests - a few people of royalty and nobility who will be witnesses of the grand event, given that the wedding is a little more familiar, between the rulers and their people.

...

Minutes later, back to the gardens, the orchestra arrives and begins to settle to the orders of one of the main servants in charge of the celebration.

Every detail must be taken diligently. Their Queen will be with them soon, giving one last inspection.

The final look of the surroundings has to leave Queen Snow completely satisfied, as everything has to be perfect for the big day of her beloved daughter.

As the day advances, the castle gates are finally open - the guards in their places shine from head to feet, dressed in their tidy and neat uniforms.

There, in the narrow streets, kids laugh and play as they walk with their families toward the castle - fresh flowers garlands hang from roof to roof, over the buildings, as well as many other decorations along the way, making the quaint village bright with more color than usual.

The adults smile and lively chat between them, while they carry some goods to honor the invitation of the royal family at such event, and to express their respect and affection for their future rulers: the Princess and her soon-to-be husband, the Captain.

There's no doubt that everyone shares the same humor, the same happiness for such long-awaited day.

Indeed, the streets are full of people walking … and they all can breathe a cheerful and joyful air.

Although, for a tiny moment ... a not so pleasing feeling settles in the castle gardens.

"Emma? Where's Emma?" the voice of Queen Snow is suddenly heard - she sounds a little worried about the current location of her daughter; as she's standing next to a servant, making sure this wedding turns out the way she wants: only the best for her daughter.

King David shakes his head and smiles to his wife. "I'll get her, darling," he reassures her before she panics - obviously, the wedding is causing a bit of tension in the Queen at this point.

As the King goes away to fetch their daughter, some of the guests start to take their seats, while they talk.

Near the altar, the groom is standing there and talking to his blue-eyed best man, who suddenly - getting closer and acting casually - starts to adjust his clothes - more like someone would do to his "little brother".

The groom quickly gives him a reproachful look, but as the man ends his task a moment later and pats him gently on the back, he smiles along with him - since it seems there's no actual way to stop this from happening … ever. After all, he is his older brother and will always be there to love him … and apparently, to assist him as well when needed.

The beauty who's standing next to them - Ariel, the best man's wife - can't control herself and starts to giggle at the brother's interactions.

Meanwhile …

In the Enchanted Forest' castle, at an outer stone corridor, near the gardens. Princess Emma is alone, fixing her long flowing veil when a male voice is suddenly heard behind her.

"Emma?" a calm voice calls before an elegant man - who looks like a royal - shows up from just around a corner.

The Princess turns around immediately - as she recognizes that voice.

"Phillip!" Emma exclaims - a big smile appears on her lips right then. "I'm so glad you could come."

Prince Phillip walks closer and both share a hug, and then, he, very politely, kisses her hand.

"I wouldn't miss this for anything," Phillip assures her, while holding her hands in a friendly manner - and taking a moment to admire her appearance, he adds - "... You look beautiful, Emma."

The Princess looks down, blushing a bit. "Thanks," she utters - hoping Killian her Captain and love, also likes the way she looks.

Surrounded by the beautiful green plants and colorful flowers that hang from the tall pillars next to them, the Princess asks, "How's everything in your Kingdom?"

"Everything's fine. I took the throne a few months ago. So far it has been hard to adjust despite being educated for this moment my whole life. Even so, I'm just … happy and so honored to serve and help my people any way I can," Prince Phillip replies, a slight proud tone in his voice, but still in complete humbleness, with a smile on his lips.

Emma's face softens at that - there's no doubt Prince Phillip always has the best intentions. He is kind-hearted and compassionate. Beyond noble. It's clear he is going to play a great role as the King of the Northern Kingdom.

"I heard about it. Congratulations," the Princess expresses - and hugs him again. "I have no doubt you are going to be the best King the Northern lands have ever had."

"Thanks," the Prince says, with a certain shade of red on his cheeks - and then, teases - "And it's good I got to do this first, you know? Once you take the throne here ... I could grant some advice."

"That would be lovely … and very necessary," Emma tells him, her tone playful.

They chuckle at that.

The Prince shakes his head, turning a bit serious. "I'm pretty sure you are going to be just fine. More when I know the man who will be at your side, helping you to make the right decisions along the way."

Princess Emma smiles warmly to him - while feeling immensely lucky to know Killian, her Captain, will help her to rule the Kingdom along with her when the time comes.

At the mention of her love, Prince Phillip considers her friend for a moment, creating a brief silence between them.

The Princess notices his uneasiness, so she looks at him suspiciously. "What is it?"

He opens his mouth to speak but closes it again - he is indeed very nervous, so he tries again.

"Emma I … I would like you to meet someone," Prince Phillip reveals.

She tilts her head to the left and gives him a very intrigued look, but waits as he goes and comes back with a company - with a very familiar face indeed.

The Prince and his company walk closer - his hand is placed gently behind the back of the woman.

"Princess Aurora?" Emma asks, confused - looking at the two of them.

"Do-do you know each other?" Phillip asks, surprised - while the two women nod at one another, as a polite greeting.

"Yeah, I mean, royal balls ... as usual," Princess Emma replies, her tone changing to a sarcastic one at the end of her explanation.

They all chuckle at that - knowing the Princess is not very fond of royal events and such.

"But I'm afraid I don't understand," Emma tells him, turning serious - as Aurora places her hands together in front of her fancy dress.

Without taking his hand from her back, Prince Phillip explains, with his tone changing to a very happy one. "Aurora is my love, Emma. The one I told you about long ago," he discloses - and adds, looking at the woman next to him with adoring eyes - "And … my future wife."

Realization hits Princess Emma right then - her face turns into pure joy. "Oh, Phillip! I'm so happy for you! Both of you."

"Thank you, Your Highness," Aurora says.

"Well, to be fair, I didn't know who she really was back then. With our brief meeting near the forest that time, there was no way for me to know," the Prince tells Emma and then turns to look at his fiancée.

Princess Aurora smiles to him while making sure to keep her emotions in check, but inevitably, the two lovebirds blush - their eyes shine with love.

"Yeah, I remember," Emma teases, with a smile on her lips - and before she can stop herself, adds sarcastically - "And I know of someone who must be relieved it is this way."

Princess Emma places a hand to her mouth as soon as those words are out, but it is too late. "I'm so sorry," she quickly tells them - feeling terrible.

Prince Phillip shakes his head. "It's all right, Emma. We all are well aware of my Father's past sins. There's no need to hide the truth."

Even so, Princess Emma gives them an apologetic look.

The Prince bring his hand from his fiancées' back to the front, and then holds her hand - they both smile at each other. "And I can't say it was all my Father hoped to be, but it certainly brings him some peace. And for that, I'm grateful."

A silence follows - the atmosphere suddenly changes to a very serious one.

"How …. how's your Father?" Princess Emma ventures to ask, with the utmost tact, her tone soft - feeling bad for what Phillip is going through; after all, Emma can't imagine how she would feel if her parents were in a very weak state of health, just like her mother did before she came back home.

"Not getting any better," Phillip discloses, with a sad tone, looking at the stone ground, with a heavy heart. "The physicians say there's nothing else we can do, but hope for the best."

Aurora holds his hand tighter to comfort him.

"I'm really sorry … truly," Princess Emma tells him - knowing the meaning behind his words.

Phillip shakes his head - his thoughts.

"It's all right. You don't need to worry about that," he comments and then smiles. "If anything happens, I know I have my love with me now and your friendship."

"Absolutely, mine and everyone's here. You and Princess Aurora will always be welcome in this Kingdom," Emma assures them, with a smile - now that the atmosphere changes to a more lively one again.

"Thanks. We really appreciate it," Aurora says.

In that moment, King James comes into view - from the other side of the corridor, behind Emma.

"Ah, there you are, honey!" the King exclaims, merrily - and walking closer, places his hands on his daughter's shoulders. "I've been looking for you everywhere."

Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora make a bow to the King and he replies with a friendly nod - although, they already saw each other in the gardens a bit earlier.

"The groom awaits you in the altar … impatiently," King James informs Emma, his voice changing to a teasing one at his last word. "Although, I'm still yet to decipher who is more nervous, Killian … or your mother."

Phillip and Aurora can't contain themselves so they laugh at the King's remarks.

Emma just gives her father a smile. "I'm sorry, Father. I lost track of time."

"We didn't mean to delay you., Emma. We're sorry," Phillip says.

"Oh no, no, it's all right. I was a bit late anyway," Princess Emma assures them, while taking her veil in her hand.

"You know women, they need so much time for everything," King James tells Phillip, like an internal male joke.

"Dad!" Princess Emma slaps gently her father's arm.

They all chuckle again, especially the King who remembers this exact same conversation, but with Emma's mother instead.

"But now, seriously, honey …" King James starts, while taking Emma's arm into his - and adds, teasingly - "We need to get going before Killian fall to pieces, or what frightens me most ... your mother going crazy if this wedding doesn't go according to her plans."

Phillip and Aurora giggle again.

Emma gives their friends an apologetic look on her father's behalf, and then, waves them goodbye.

As the Princess and King James go away, Phillip tells his friend, "We'll see you there, Emma!"

Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora smile at each other then - this day will be remembered forever ... in everyone's life.

Moments later …

In the castle gardens, under the shelter of the clear blue sky, with the fresh air of the sea coming from the front, and with the sun giving its gentle rays of light …

Over the short green grass lie the softness of dozens of pastel rose petals - as a carpet that extends a few meters, revealing very tall fine vases with bouquets of fresh flowers, which give a pleasant scent - and elegant ornamented chairs at both sides.

Beyond, a very lovely stone made gazebo, with a very fine and delicate veil hanging from each pillar - like translucent and light curtains. And on top of it, green garlands nicely secured from the dome to the floor.

The free spaces between each pillar, let see more nature in the background and the wonderful view of the ocean behind them.

Suddenly, the sweet and soft whisper of a melody starts to be heard, only to reveal an orchestra playing at a side of the gazebo, and then an old priest standing in the middle of it.

As the music sounds a bit louder, it shows a man standing at the foot of the altar, the groom ... Captain Killian Jones - elegantly dressed in a special uniform made for the occasion - who slowly turns around with a smile on his handsome face - excitement is felt in his entire body. And next to him, is his best man and older brother Liam Jones.

The two brothers share a glance between them and smile at each other, as they wait in their respective places.

With the music sounding a bit louder each time, seated in the first row, the presence of Queen Snow, Ariel, Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip and Rumple - Princess Belle is waiting at the altar as the bridesmaid.

In the rest of the seats are people from royalty and nobility, the members of the Parliament and their always loyal friends: Robin Hood and his family, and the merry men as well.

There, the orchestra makes a quick pause just to start to sound again a moment later, as finally, King James and Princess Emma stand at back ready to walk down the aisle.

In that moment, everyone turns around to see the King and his daughter - as the music keeps playing softly.

The handsome groom swallows nervously - while looking at the ground, completely unaware of what's happening - when his brother Liam Jones places a hand gently on his back.

Reminded of his brother's support, Captain Killian Jones turns a little bit his head toward him and then, nods to him. Then, he straightens his back before he lets a breath go and looks up to the aisle once more.

And there, he suddenly is … completely mesmerized.

Gasps can be heard just as soon as the guests finally see their Princess - who couldn't look more beautiful in her wedding gown.

For a second, Emma holds her father's arm tightly and looks up to him. King James quickly understands the natural feelings that accompany such a very important day, and offers her a sincere smile to show his comfort - he couldn't be more happy for his "little girl", and also feels absolutely proud of the woman she has become.

She gives him a little smile, and right then, Princess Emma looks up to the front, where her soon-to-be husband … awaits.

...

Hazel eyes meet bright blue - excitement, nervousness, and anxiety is felt in their bodies. But overall ... as the Captain and the Princess look at each other and smile to one another, they can't help but feel … incredibly in love.

The music continues, and the King and Princess finally walk down the aisle.

As they do, Queen Snow takes a moment to look down at her lap as a few tears fall from her eyes - this is all her and her husband the King always wanted for their loving daughter: her happiness and the chance to live what they have with a man she loves.

Ariel - who is sitting next to the Queen - offers her a handkerchief, with a sincere smile on her lips.

Queen Snow smiles to her and thanks her silently.

Thus, as the mother of the bride wipes away her joyful tears, the two women look up to where the King is now placing Emma's hand into Killian's.

King James places a kiss on his daughter's forehead and retreats to his seat, next to his wife.

Princess Emma and Captain Killian Jones take their places in the altar, in front of the old priest, without being able to stop looking at each other - their eyes spark intensely; their happiness is beyond measure.

Although Killian always finds his fascinating Princess positively breathtaking, he is certain she has never looked more beautiful than in this moment. Just like Emma can't quite believe she is about to marry this man: her handsome, brave, smart, and humble Captain.

This is really happening … and here, with their loving families and loyal friends to share this moment with them … it's absolutely perfect.

A few minutes later …

As the ceremony progresses, another rush of pure joy is felt in every single soul, as the groom and bride exchange their vows.

With a ring in his hands and his blue eyes on the woman he so deeply loves, Captain Killian Jones takes the Princess' hand into his.

"Emma, my love," he starts, with a soft voice. "From the moment I met you I knew you were everything I wanted."

The Princess smiles to her Captain - a red color appears on her cheeks.

"Although, I was never really sure how being with someone like you could ever be possible," he confesses - touching the hearts of all those who are listening to him, especially the Queen and King.

Noticing Snow's sad expression, King James places his hand over hers and gives it a little squeeze. Queen Snow looks up to her husband and smiles to him.

"And then, we were apart from each other countless times by many forces …" the groom continues, with a little bit of sadness in his voice.

Princess Emma gives him a small smile, while she remembers.

At the same time, Liam Jones looks down at the grass under his feet, well aware of everything his "little brother" went through just to protect and finally be with the woman he loves.

Changing the sad atmosphere a little bit, Killian adds, playfully, "... Including ours at first."

Emma softly bites her lower lip - suppressing a giggle - as she remembers the time when they couldn't even talk two words to each other without ending up fighting.

Some chuckles from their families can be heard in the background - as now all of them know their real story.

Without taking his blue eyes off of Emma, Captain Killian Jones tells her lovingly, with his tone serious, while placing the ring on her finger, "With this ring you can be certain that I wish to never separate myself from you ever again."

Emma smiles at him - her heart melting.

Then, Princess Emma takes the Captain's hand into hers, while holding a ring with her free hand.

"Killian, you already know I never really believed I could share with someone what my parents have," she says, with a soothing voice.

The Captain's face softens - as well, as that of Princess Belle, who always knew about her friend's concerns; and Ariel, who also knows the details now.

"But the truth is … my love has always been yours … since the first Royal Ball," Emma reveals, not taking her hazel eyes off of his.

Killian's smile widens - the rest of their family and friends smile as well.

"It used to scare me sometimes, but …" she pauses. "After everything we have gone through together, you've shown me I have nothing to fear for the future ..."

Putting the ring on his finger, Princess Emma says, "... for you will always keep my heart safe. And now with this ring, I'll keep yours."

The couple looks at each other - beaming with joy.

Moving to the end of the ceremony, the priest asks the question to both of them, and happily … the couple answer … with "I do."

With the final pronounce of the priest, the Princess and Captain, finally kiss … as husband and wife.

A chorus of claps can be heard as their family, friends, and guests celebrate their union - a few tears are shed here and there.

… And just like that, against the odds, Princess Emma and Captain Killian Jones are finally together ... happily married … for love.

At night …

Festive lights brighten the starry sky with different colors, as Princess Emma and Captain Killian Jones hold each other close - the Captain's standing behind her; both of them are on the balcony of their royal bridal suite: a room away from everything and everyone, and where they can delight in the view of the castle gardens, the village, and the sea, while the rest of the guests still continue with the celebration.

A sigh escapes from the Princess' lips.

"It's wonderful ..." Emma suddenly expresses, while enjoying the warmth of her husband's arms - her beautiful hazel eyes are fixed on the show of tonight's sky.

"It truly is, my love," Killian tells her - his head's delicately resting against hers as he swings his wife a little bit in his arms. "Although, nothing less would be expected of the King and Queen of the Enchanted Forest, or of any other parent in the celebration of their daughter's Big Day."

At that, Killian moves closer to Emma's ear. "Besides ... you and I both know how much your parents like to throw a party," he reminds her, with a tone of complicity and humor.

"More like my Mother," she teases back.

Killian chuckles and Emma giggles. And as he holds her tightly, he doesn't lose the chance to kiss his wife on her cheek.

At that moment, while the fireworks continue to give their splendor and resounding in the airs, Emma slowly turns around - still in his embrace - and then looks her husband in the eye.

"And I know, but …." she starts, her tone turns serious, her face slightly sad - as her hands run up and down his arms. "I wasn't talking about that."

Killian considers her for a moment - his head tilted a bit to the left - but waits for what she has to say.

Emma looks at him a little unsure at first but continues - they can tell everything to each other. They trust each other.

"It's just ..." she starts - and looking up at her love once more, she reveals - "There were moments when I thought none of this could ever happen, that we could never have another chance to be together."

His face softens.

"I know. It too crossed my mind a good amount of times," Killian discloses - and looking lovingly into her eyes, he says - "I'm just glad we still fought for us."

She smiles at that.

"If something is certain is that if we could overcome all that, we can overcome anything. I know we're gonna be fine," he affirms, while he caresses tenderly her cheek.

"I think so too," she tells him, still smiling.

"I can't imagine a life without you in it, Emma," Killian says. "I love you so much."

"And I love you, Killian," she says - her eyes shine with love and happiness, just like the ones of her handsome husband.

Killian smiles and without wasting more time, kisses his beautiful wife on the lips. And as he holds her close to his body, they deepen the kiss, making it last a little longer.

As they slowly pull apart, Emma sighs - their foreheads pressed together.

"I can't wait to start our lives together," she whispers, against his lips.

"Do you have something planned for us?" Killian asks, flirtatiously, moving a little to take a better look at his Princess - very interested in what she has to say next.

"No plans, but … actually ..." she starts, nervously.

His intrigue increases.

"I was hoping to have a big family someday … maybe," Emma reveals - her cheeks bright red.

Killian's heart melts at her confession.

He nods. "I wish for us the same, my love," he tells her, his voice full of joy.

They smile at each other, without being able to stop looking into each other's eyes - their hearts are full of happiness, passion, and love.

Suddenly - out of nowhere - Killian breaks contact and lifts his Princess in his arms - bridal style - making her squeal in surprise.

"Killian, what are you doing?" Emma asks him merrily, while up in her Captain's strong arms.

"Well, my love, if we both want a big family we better start to do something about it, don't you think?" Killian replies flirtatiously to his lovely wife.

Emma can't help but give him a flirty smile of her own, but before she can say anything, he cheekily steals a quick kiss from her - to which she gasps in amazement.

Not giving her time to process anything and without wasting more time, he turns around quickly - surprising her once more and making her hold onto her husband's neck more tightly to not fall.

"Killian!" Emma squeals, delighted - to which they chuckle as he walks into their room with his wife safe in his loving arms.

The happy newlyweds, Princess Emma and Captain Killian Jones disappear from the balcony, letting behind the gentle movement of the white and semi-translucent curtains of their royal suite, where the amber light of the candles of their room still can be seen.

In the clear night sky, the colorful fireworks keep displaying, while the big moon shines with the harmony … of the spark … of thousand stars.

Sometime later …

In the summer castle of the royal family, Princess Emma and Captain Killian Jones are in the library, while she is writing a letter - not a single sound can be heard, but that of their gentle breathing.

"Shouldn't we be outside? The weather is wonderful," Killian comments, breaking the silence, as he looks out to the big window and while bathed by the clear light of the sun - his eyes are fixed on the water of the large fountain in the gardens, which glimmers beautifully, and around it, the walk side and the green grass at the sides.

"Just a moment. I really need to finish this," Emma tells her husband, her hazel eyes still focus on the paper, while she keeps writing.

After a silence, he goes on - still without looking at her.

"You know, you could finish that letter later ... or not send it at all, my love. After all, we will be back to the Enchanted Forest in a few weeks," Killian suggests, turning his blue gaze toward her to give a smile to his beautiful wife.

Emma looks up and shakes her head - her husband is a bit impatient sometimes. "It'll take just a minute … I promise," she assures him, smiling.

"Ah, guess your Father is right then!" Killian points out - and adds, playfully - "Women

indeed need more time for everything."

He chuckles and Emma simply shakes her head one more time but smiles nonetheless - her eyes return to the paper on the desk in front of her.

The Captain's blue eyes return to the window.

"Believe me, Killian. This letter has to get home soon," Emma expresses.

"You feeling homesick yet?" he teases, looking at her.

"No," she replies, trying to sound serious, but can't help the smile on her lips.

Killian gives her a teasing smile.

"But after our little journey, my parents and the rest of our family and friends must be waiting for a word from us," she tries to explain.

"Well, didn't I promise I'd take you traveling someday, my love?" Killian asks lovingly, but with a hint of humor - referring to their first encounters in the castle of the Enchanted Forest, when he was just a Lieutenant and her, the always beautiful Princess, who wanted to know the lands, and where he promised her to do just that.

"I know," Emma tells his husband, flirtatiously.

Killian turns to the window once more, chuckling a little - very pleased with red color on his wife's cheeks.

"Still, I don't understand the rush," the Captain comments - returning to their previous conversation about the letter.

The Princess rolls her eyes but smiles - just before considering her husband for a moment.

"I'm almost finished," she lets him know.

Killian nods.

And taking another last look toward her husband - who is still looking out to the window - Princess Emma adds casually, but still a little nervous, while writing, "And … it's always an urgency when you have to let your parents know you're pregnant."

Killian's back tenses up ... immediately.

A big silence follows - a silence that seems to last forever.

Captain Killian Jones finally turns around - this time, when he does, an utter amazement expression is plastered all over his handsome face.

And to add to his surprise, his wife Princess Emma is already standing there in front of him, with a nervous smile on her lips - When did she get here? How many time has passed?

"Emma …" Killian whispers, barely able to speak, his mouth moves but no more sounds come out while looking down at her and trying to touch her but failing thanks to the emotion. "My love, are-are you …."

"Yes, yes, Killian …" Emma tells him, with a big smile, her hazel eyes about to cry, holding his arms. "I'm pregnant."

Without being sure what to do or say, he simply draws a big smile on his face and gathers Emma in his arms. "Oh, Emma! Emma, my love!"

Emma holds him tight.

"It's the happiest day of my life," Killian tells her, still a bit in disbelief, as he pulls away a little to look at her, but still holding her.

"Mine too," she whispers, a few tears falling from the corners of her eyes - he wipes them away.

"So this is why you were feeling ..." he starts - in order to be completely sure of this.

"Yes. I saw the physician as soon as we settle in the castle and he confirmed our suspicion," she quickly interjects. "I couldn't wait to tell you."

Both smile at each other, and without being able to control his emotions, Killian leans in and kisses Emma passionately, yet sweetly - to which she giggles at first, but responds to eagerly nonetheless.

And there, the Captain and the Princess celebrate the wonderful news with the comfort and warmth provided by their kisses and embrace. The company of each other is more than enough - besides, real celebrations will be coordinated by the Queen later … as always.

"My parents are going to be so happy when they find out," she comments against his lips, once they finally pull apart.

"I believe so, my love," he says, with sincerity, while caressing softly her cheek.

As they remain together, Killian's face suddenly changes to a flirtatious one.

"What?" Emma asks - noticing his intentions.

"Mhhm, nothing," he assures, while swinging his wife in his arms - and adds, playfully, referring to the royal life - "It's just you still haven't ascended to the throne and we already have a future hair. I guess we're very good at this."

She giggles. "So it seems ... my love," Emma teases, and they chuckle at that.

And as a peaceful atmosphere descends over the happy couple, they look at each other - their eyes sparkle with love; both of them, radiate immense happiness through every pore.

"I love you, Emma," he tells her, with a smile

"And I love you, Killian," she says, smiling as well.

And so, Princess Emma and Captain Killian Jones remain in each other's loving arms, with their foreheads pressed together and their eyes closed; with their gentle breathing and a beautiful life-changing promise between them; with the rays of the sun coming through the window and shining over them … and their future.

As the proof that true love - in all its forms - will always overcome distance, timing, fighting, silence … and more.

… For they can be together now.

… For their love now can be a spark that shines … forever after.
