After the boys went and talked to Angela's best friend, the boys decided that they needed to burn Angela's bones. So I joined them.

At the graveyard

I stood there with a flashlight over them while Dean and Sam dig at Angela's grave site. Standing on the coffin, Dean clears the rest of the dirt off and turns to Sam.

"Ladies first." Dean says to Sam and I rolled my eyes at Dean.

Sam hands his flashlight to Dean. "Hold that."

I prepared myself for Angela's body. Sam opens the coffin, wincing in preparation. It is empty. They look at each other then at me. I gasped softly in shock.

Dean and Sam stared at the empty coffin. They were confused and so was I.

"They buried the body four days ago." Dean says to Sam.

"I don't get it." Sam says then notices something carved into the inside of the coffin. I noticed it too. "Look."

"What is that?" Dean asked, looking at the carvings.

"I'm not sure."

"I've seen these kinds of symbols before." Dean says, tracing the carvings.

"Dean, they look kinda like Greek symbols, don't they?" I asked and Dean looked at me. "Yeah."

The next day

We arrived at Dr. Mason's office. Dean pounds heavily on the door. He is clearly very agitated. I glanced at Sam in concern.

"Dean. Take it easy, okay?" Sam says to Dean and the door opens.

"You're Angie's friends, right?" Dr. Mason says, looking at us.

"Dr. Mason…" Sam says gently then Dean cut to the point. "We need to talk." Dean says harshly and I shut my eyes, knowing that Dean was about to yell at Dr. Mason.

Dr. Mason noticed Dean's attitude but continued to smile. "Come in."

"Thanks." Sam says and we came inside.

"You teach Ancient Greek. Tell me, what are those?" Dean says, showing Dr. Mason the paper on which he's copied the symbols from the grave.

I paced around nervously, chewing on my nails.

Dr. Mason frowned at the paper. "I don't understand. You said this had something to do with Angela."

"It does. Please, just humor me." Dean flashes his tense smile.

Dr. Mason sighed heavily. "They're part of an ancient Greek divination ritual."

"Used for necromancy, right?"

Dr. Mason nodded. "That's right."

Dean crossed his arms. "See, before we came over here, we stopped by the library and did a little homework ourselves. Apparently they used rituals like this one for communicating with the dead. Even bringing corpses back to life. Full-on zombie action."

"Yes. I mean, according to the legends. Now, what's all this about?"

Sam watches Dr. Mason's face and started to have doubts. I realized that Dr. Mason didn't do this and tried to interrupt Dean but he flashes me his deadly look and I backed off.

"I think you know."

"Dean." Sam says to him and Dean pushes on.

"Look, I get it. Okay? There are people that I would give anything to see again. But what gives you the right?"

"Dean!"

Dr. Mason frowned. "What are you talking about?"

"What's dead should stay dead!"

"Stop it!" Sam says sternly.

"What you brought back isn't even your daughter anymore. These things are vicious, they're violent, they're so nasty that they rot the ground around them. I mean, come on, haven't you seen Pet Cemetery?"

I was so horrified about how Dean was treating Dr. Mason so I walked between them. "Dean, stop this right now." I whispered sternly.

He ignores me. Dr. Mason was getting angry. "You're insane."

"Where is she?" Dean demands.

"Get out of my house." Dr. Mason starts dialing the phone; Dean knocks it out of his hand and I gasped in shock.

I backed away from Dean.

"I know you're hiding her somewhere. Where is she?!"

"Dean! Stop, that's enough! Dean, Look!" Sam grabs Dean's jacket and pointed to a row of plants by the window. "Beautiful, living plants."

Sam turns to Dr. Mason. "We're leaving."

I picked up the phone and hands it back to Dr. Mason. "I'm so sorry." I whispered to him.

"I'm calling the police."

Dean pulls out of Sam's grip and storms for the door.

"Sir, we're sorry. We won't bother you again." Sam says and they leave. I stood behind and looked at Dr. Mason sadly. "I'm so, so sorry. I don't know what's wrong with Dean. I… I'll leave now. Please don't call the police."

Dr. Mason stood there and looked down. I ran out to follow them.

Dean strides down the steps and along the sidewalk, Sam following.

"What the hell is the matter with you, Dean?"

"Back off."

"That man is innocent. He didn't deserve that!"

"Okay, so she's not here, maybe he's keeping her somewhere else."

"Stop it! That's enough, okay? Enough!"

"Sam, I know what I'm doing."

"No, you don't. At all. Dean, I don't scare easy, but man, you're scaring the crap out of me."

"Don't be over dramatic, Sam."

"You're lucky this turned out to be a real case. Because if it wasn't, you would have just found someone else to kill."

"Whoa"

"You're on edge, you're erratic-except for when you're hunting, because then you're downright scary. You're tailspinning, man. And you refuse to talk about it and you won't let me help you. Hell, you even won't let Emma to help you too."

"I can take care of myself, thanks."

I finally found them and arrived at Sam's side.

"No, you can't. And you know what? You're the only one who thinks you should have to. You don't have to handle this on your own, Dean, no one can."

"Sam, if you bring up Dad's death one more time, I swear…"

"Stop. Please, Dean, it's killing you. Please. We've already lost Dad. We've lost Mom. I've lost Jessica. And now I'm gonna lose you too?"

I glanced at Dean's face for any reaction. He kept it to himself. "We better get out of here before the cops come." Sam frowns at him.

"I hear you. Okay? Yeah, I'm being an ass. I'm sorry. But right now we've got a friggin' zombie running around, and we need to figure out how to kill it."

Sam laughs, shaking his head. Dean smirked. "Right?"

"Our lives are weird, man."

"You're telling me? Come on." Dean says and walked away.

I shook my head and sighed heavily. "I'm worried about Dean." I whispered to Sam. He nodded. "Me too."
