Hi everyone! Thank you for all the reviews for the previous chapter! Even though it opened up a new storyline to explore I'll admit I rushed writing it, since I was writing it at one in the morning xD.
Only 3 more reviews until we hit 300!
And once again, since I'm not in college yet I hope all the information I'm writing is correct. Thankfully the OSU website tells me a lot.
I don't own Glee. The only characters I own are all the business owners, Professor Downer, Jeff McKenna, Sophia Russell, Estelle Harmon, Bridget, Rae, Cory Hudson and Anthony Hudson.
Enjoy!
"What if I meet someone else like Olivia though? We all know how that turned out Rach," Finn asked Rachel after he swallowed a bite of his breakfast sandwich. She was currently feeding Anthony and watching Cory eat at the same time.
"Then simply ignore them, or tell them you have a girlfriend and two children this time. If you're only 19 and you already have two kids then they'll probably leave you alone," she insisted. She was much more busier than normal now that she had two kids, and which Finn gone she knew it was going to be a challenge.
"I'll try my best," he decided. "Aren't you going to start looking for a job today?"
"I probably won't find anything. I'm going to drop Cory and Anthony off at Bright and Sunny while I go out and about today," Bright and Sunny Daycare was run by two sisters named Bridget and Rae who Finn and Rachel met during the summer of 2010. During their junior and senior years in high school he was kept there while they were in school. Now that Rachel wasn't in college she stayed home to take care of Cory and Anthony. She wondered how much the two sisters changed since she last saw them.
"Well, have fun then. And I'll try to as well. First period is First Education Experience, then Philosophy, then American Lit and I'm done for the day. Tuesdays and Thursday will be a lot more harder though; I have four classes instead of three."
"You better get going Finn, I don't want you to be late. Plus you have a two hour drive ahead for you," Rachel pointed out.
"Alrighty. Love you and I'll see you later maybe, if you're not out and about," he gave her a kiss on the lips, and gave both Cory and Anthony a kiss on their heads.
"Daddy no go," Cory whined.
"I have to Bud. But I'll be home soon, okay? Then we can play," he liked it when his dad said play, because that always meant they were going to have loads of fun. "See you guys later."

"Mommy, I no go!" Cory exclaimed as he struggled to leave his mom's grasp. Rachel had Anthony's carrier in one hand and Cory's hand in her other. Her oldest really didn't want to go to a daycare center and be away from his mom.
"You have you Cor. There's no one else to watch you today, I'm afraid," she was lying there, but she didn't want to just drop off her sons at her dads' or Finn's parents house. It wasn't fair to them, so she just had to figure things out on her own.
After struggling with Cory for a few more minutes, she was finally able to get him inside. She was instantly recognized by Bridget, who came out from behind the front desk to give her a hug.
"Rachel! It's been so long!" she said with a smile. She got down on one knee to say hi to Cory. "Hello Cory!"
"Hi..." he hid behind his mom's leg shyly.
"He's gotten so big!" Bridget turned to Anthony, and her mouth turned into the shape of an o, "Is this the baby?"
"Yes, his name is Anthony. He's six weeks old now."
"What a cutie!" she said before getting up and leading them to the front desk.
"So what's new with you?" Rachel asked as she placed Anthony's carrier on the desk.
"I got married in August," she showed Rachel her ring and she congratulated her with glee. "And Rae just got engaged on Christmas. Our family is slowly getting bigger and bigger! So what brings you back here?"
"It certainly is. And I'm looking for a job, and since no one else can watch over Cory and Anthony, I decided to bring them here. I shouldn't be gone for more than two hours," the short brunette explained.
"That's perfectly fine. Just remember to call ahead of time once you're ready to come pick them up," Bridget said before Rachel said goodbye to her sons. She gave Anthony a kiss on his forehead and hugged Cory since he was big enough.
"Don't go Mommy," he pleaded.
"I'll be back soon, I promise," she hugged him again.
"I have some snacks if you want them Cory. Plus there are other kids to play with!"
"Snacks," he ignored his mom now that he heard their was food. Rachel left the daycare center with high hopes, but also feeling a little scared at the same time.
First Education Experience went by really fast for Finn, thankfully. The class didn't seem too hard but he could tell the professor was going to give plenty of homework. Now he was on his way to Philosophy, which seemed like a really cool class.
The only disadvantage was he had to walk from one building to another in the freezing cold winter air. He made sure he wore his new insulated coat he got for Christmas from his parents. He wasn't even able to use his phone like he normally would going from class to class. All he could do was focus on getting to his next class without frost bite.
Once he was in the warm building, he was happy. Finn then made his way to room 503, and the room was already filled with most of the students. He took a seat by another guy, and the other guy recognized his quickly.
"Finn?" he asked. Then he realized it was Jeff McKenna, one of the people he made friends with in his English class last semester, who was also in their group project with Olivia and Jack.
"Hey Jeff!" he greeted him. "How have you been? I'm sorry I ignored you for the year of the English class last semester. Personally I just wanted to get it over with."
"It's cool, I don't blame you. And I've been doing ok, you?"
"Same here. Raising two kids is tough now, but it's worth it," Finn pulled out his phone to show him a picture of Anthony.
"Aww, he's cute!" Jeff commented.
"You have kids? What the hell?" he heard a voice, and he turned around to see a woman with black hair, pale skin, and brown eyes standing over him with an angry gaze. "You probably don't even take care of them! You just want to seem like a good guy."
"What the hell Sophia? Finn takes excellent care of his kids!" Jeff defended him. Her comments really hurt him.
"Don't defend him, I wanna hear it from him," she pointed her finger at Finn. He looked through his pictures on his phone and then showed her one of him, Rachel, Cory, and Anthony together as a family.
"I don't turn my back on my family," he retorted.
"Sophia! What are you doing?" a girl with short red hair came over to them.
"She's interrogating people again Estelle, as usual," Jeff rolled his eyes.
"I just wanted to see if this guy was a good one," Sophia defended herself while staring at the picture. She handed Finn back his phone with a small smile on her face. "And he is. Sorry 'bout that."
"Finn, let me introduce you to two of my friends here; Estelle Harmon and Sophia Russell."
"Apology accepted, but I'm still a little wary about you."
"It's cool, same goes for you. As long as you don't mess up what you have with your family we'll be good friends," she then walked away and went back to her seat.
"Sophia's my roommate. She can get a little freaky like that sometimes, but she just wants to see the best in people," Estelle defended her. She then said her goodbyes and walked away.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to them," Finn sure hoped so.

Rachel was surprised that she got three interviews in one day, but she just knew none of them were successful. Right when she mentioned she had two children to all of them, they all said the same thing:
"Thank you for coming in. You'll get a call if you get the job."
She could tell by the tone of their voices that it meant she didn't get it. Before she left the last place, a restaurant, she called Bright and Sunny to let them know she was coming to pick Cory and Anthony up. She arrived five minutes later and rushed in to escape the cold air.
"Welcome back Rachel! Bridget's on her lunch break," Rae was at the desk typing something on the computer. "How'd the job search go?"
"They all went fine, until I told them I had kids. I guess they want someone who can work without dealing with personal problems," she sighed sadly.
"I probably shouldn't be tell you this," Rae got up from her chair and got close to Rachel's ear, "but we're going to post a secretary opening, you know to do errands and such. If you want, it's yours."
Rachel was surprised. She didn't even fill out and application or anything, and she was being offered a job! "Are you sure? I couldn't possibly..."
"You deserve it. And you'll also be with your kids all day, so they won't be far away."
She thought this was rather rushed, but she couldn't decline an offer like this. "Alright, I'll take it!" Her new job was going off to a good start.
So, Finn's starting off his new Philosophy class onto a...good start? What do you think of Jeff's friends? And Rachel got a job as a secretary at Bright and Sunny Daycare.
Coming up in chapter 35 - Regionals! And yes, there will be singing in this chapter! The songs will also be different from the episode. Do you think the New Directions will win?
