Chapter 37: Being smart isn't smart

"Rise and shine, Vega!"

Tori moaned as she tried to rub her eyes, but remembered they were tied behind her back. She opened her eyes, to see Blake peeling a banana. She was hoping that he would give the fruit to her, but her hope faded when he started eating it. After swallowing it, the boy smirked at her. "I never said I would feed you." He said dully. Tori side behind the cloth. He's tormenting me by not feeding me. She thought.

Blake walked over to the girl, and started to untie the ropes on her wrists and ankles. After doing that, he started to tug at her shirt, trying to get it off. Tori instantly knew what he was going to do. Oh no. Not on my watch! Even if I'm not actually wearing a watch.

"If you're gonna do what I think you're gonna do, then you might as well forget it!" Tori snapped, pushing Blake's hand away from her shirt. Blake glared at her. "Don't. Tell. Me. What. To. DO!" He warned her. Tori scoffed. "You're not the boss of me." She retorted.

Blake snorted. "Well, you're not the boss of me either."

"But I'm older. And I'm wiser than a silly kid like you."

"Don't underestimate me!"

"Oooh! I'm so scared."

But what Tori didn't realize was being smart with Blake was not a good idea at all. "You teenage bitch! How dare you talk to me that way?!" Blake growled, his green eyes flashing dangerously. Tori, still failing to realize what she's doing, chuckled. "Oh. What are you gonna do? Beat me up? By the way, where did you learn that kind of language, young man?" She was talking like she was lecturing a young boy, and Blake didn't like it one bit.

The evil pirate boy made a reach for her shirt... only for her to push it away. Rage boiled in his blood. "That's it! PREPARE TO SUFFER THE MOST BRUTAL BEATING OF YOUR LIFE, TORI VEGA!" He shouted, now scaring Tori. Oh no... I probably shouldn't have said all that. She thought as he towered over her (She was sitting down).

"Blake..." She whimpered. "I'm sure we can settle this another way-"

"We're settling it my way..." Blake replied, his voice dangerous and low.

"Please!" Tori pleaded. "Don't beat me! NO-"

With that, Tori felt the most horrendous pain she has ever felt. Blake began his brutal assault on her. He hit, slapped, punched, and kicked her all over her body as hard as he could. Each one caused Tori to scream in pain. There was something she noticed during it. Blake didn't have a even a hint of a smirk among his face, or even a hint of delight in his eyes. All she saw... was pure rage and hatred.

The worst part was, that this beating lasted for twenty minutes. So long, that Tori was barely conscious by the end of it. After those twenty minutes (To Tori it felt like forever), Blake stopped. Tori was relieved, but in terrible pain. There were bruises and cuts all over her body. Blood was staining her clothes, and bruises were throbbing terribly. The evil pirate boy glared at Tori, and stomped on her chest, making her squeal.

"Have you learned you lesson, or I need to beat you for another thirty minutes?" He growled. Tori started sobbing. "Y-Y-Yes... I-I-I-I've learned my lesson... p-p-p-p-please... d-d-don't b-beat m-m-me a-a-anymore... I-I-I-I'm s-s-s-s-s-sorry..." She stuttered in fright and pain. Blake stomped on her chest one more time before walking over the dufflebag. He rummaged through before pulling out something that made Tori freeze in fright.

A whip.

A deadly looking whip.

"Listen, Tori. If you give me any more trouble. I will use this. And I assure you... it will not be pretty..." He threatened. Tori nodded quickly. Blake's smirk reappeared after a long time. "Good girl." He cooed. Tori's tears would not stop flowing as she looked away from him. As she did, she noticed another person was in the room. It was Lizzy, and she was holding something up... something blue.

No. No. She couldn't have.

Tori quickly checked her pockets, despite the pain she was in. All, including her back pockets, were empty.

She did!

"My phone!" She exclaimed, her voice hoarse. Lizzy smirked. "Wow. You're not as dumb as I thought." Tori glared. "Why... do you have my phone? How did you get it?"

Blake was the one to answer that. "I found it while you were asleep. Lizzy, did you get it all?"

"Every last second." Was her answer. Blake laughed. "Perfect! Now send it Tori's friends. Just to give them a message and warning."

Tori was confused. "Wait! You mean... you recording the whole beating?!" She asked. Blake nodded, and she gasped. "Who would wan't to see that?!"

"I'm just sending them a message to tell them that you're still alive. And to show them what happens when you act like a smart ass towards me."

The teen cringed at the words Blake was using. She knew evildoers tended to curse, but Blake was just a kid. Where he learned those words, she'll probably never know. After Lizzy had sent the video, she and Blake left the room, leaving Tori all alone once again. She was absolutely terrified now. After suffering such a harsh beating. Blake sure was a scary little boy. Then again, he was evil. Tori curled into a ball, rocking back and forth.

"I wanna go home. I wanna go home. I wanna go home." She whispered over and over, more tears streaming down her cheeks

Meanwhile...

Trina had fallen asleep on the couch. She had practically tried to search for Tori on her laptop almost all last night before falling asleep at three-thirty in the morning. At seven-twenty, she woke up at the sound of her phone buzzing. Groaning, she pulled it out of her pocket, and checked the message. It was a video message from Tori. Trina grinned, hoping it was a call for help. As soon as she pressed the video, her blood ran cold.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! PLEASE! PLEASE STOP! I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY!" Tori pleaded as Blake punched her over and over. Trina placed her hand over her mouth as she watched. She was hoping that video was short, but to her dismay, it lasted twenty minutes.

"Oh my God." Was all she said after the video was over. That... that... that monster of a pirate boy had beaten up her little sister. At the bottom of the video, there was a caption

This is what happens when you're a smart ass towards me. And that pisses me off.

Trina could tell that Blake made that caption, which meant he had Tori's phone. Before she could turn off her phone, she got a text message. She read it, and it looked like it was a ray of hope.

You will see Tori again... very soon. But if you and/or the other give me any trouble... you're dead.

Well, at least she'll see Tori again. That may give them the chance to save her. Quickly, she started to call her father. After a few minutes, there was a man's voice on the other side of the phone

"Hello?"

Trina took a deep breath. "Dad? It's Trina. Something bad happened and I need you to come back home right now!" She spoke so fast that Mr. Vega could barely understand what she was saying.

"Okay! Okay! Calm down, honey. Now tell me what happened nice and slowly.

Trina took another deep breath. "Tori's been kidnapped... by a twelve year old boy. I know it sounds strange, but I just got a video of the kidnapper beating her for twenty minutes, and... and... I"m really scare for Tori, Daddy." Before she knew it, Trina started crying. This was the first time she's cried in a long time, and this was the first time she's called her father 'Daddy' in a long time. Mr. Vega could here her sobs.

"It's gonna be okay, baby. Don't cry. Your mother and I will be down there as soon as I can. We'll find Tori. I promise."

Trina wiped some of her tears away. "Thanks, Daddy. I love you."

"Love you too, Trina."

With that, Trina ended the call. There was hope. There was definitely hope after all. The older Vega felt something move beside, and saw Jake waking up. Yeah, he fell asleep beside her last night too. The boy opened his eyes to see Trina getting up from the couch. "Trina... what happened?" He asked sleepily. Trina smiled at him. "We're gonna save Tori." She answered. "I just called my dad... he said he'll be here as soon as he can with my mother."

Jake grinned. It looked like their hope just got better.

Noticing Trina's phone, he picked it up and noticed a video message on it. Curious, he began to watch the video... and immediately wished he hadn't. He quickly shut the video off, and angry look on his face. Blake did hurt Tori, and he could hurt her again even worse. Darn you, Blake. Why do you have to torment me so badly?! You better hope Tori survives you wrath... or you won't survive.

Well, it looks like there's more hope for Tori's rescue. Trina was able to get in touch with her dad (Who's a cop, by the way). We'll see the gang try to save Tori next chapter, and you'll see where she is. Until then, here's another chapter preview for you.

The gang walked through the building. It was pretty quiet. A bit... too quiet. "I wonder where he is... or where Tori is." Cat whispered. "Well. It's obvious he's waiting for us. So we can't let our guard down." Peter whispered back.

Jade scoffed. "I don't wanna wait too long. I wanna get that son of a you know what. Hey!" She started shouting. "Where are you, Blake?! Come out and fight like a man!" Beck began to shush her. Jake looked around, sword in hand. He didn't really care what it took, he just wanted to save Tori. I will save you. He thought over and over.

Suddenly, a silver ball was through somewhere in the building. It release some smoke that spread all around, causing the gang to cough and gag. Soon, everybody fell to the floor, losing consciousness.

I know it was pretty short, but I didn't want to spoil alot for you. I'll see you guys later. And don't forget to review, please. Thank you.
