So hey back from my vacations and guess what this is my last week. So I'll try to finish this before Monday. Hope you guys have enjoyed this so far and well… here's the next chapter.

I had never been on a date in my life and it seemed that Fang hadn't either, but I wasn't going to ask him. We were buying tickets to some comedy film. We weren't the only people there but everything seemed kind of off at the moment.

"Popcorn?" Fang asked without turning around, he was acting so weird.

"Sure" I shrugged, it wasn't like he was paying for everything, and we'd all earned the money we were using right now so I didn't feel bad. "Maybe an ICEE instead of a Coke." He nodded and bought the same thing for him.

So now came the tough part again. Sitting down in a dark place feeling vulnerable. We were inside before the lights were off and that helped a lot but I was still nervous I mean it was a date, what if he tried to kiss me again? I knew him better now after all the time we'd spent together with the kids and such but it was still a big step for me.

"You okay?" Fang asked as we sat in the backrow. This was also a precautionary measure for our safety, but it started to feel like a plan to… He seemed to notice I was nervous "We could sit up front if you like"

"Here's fine" I stared at my popcorn I felt so nervous but I didn't want to run this time.

"Max, we could leave if you like" I didn't turn to see his face but I knew he was serious when he said that. "If you feel uncomfortable at all we could head back, I told you I wouldn't rush you"

"I'm okay Fang" I said but it came out as if I were angry. "Just give me a minute" he sat back in his chair and sighed, there were giggles coming from a few rows down but I just stared at my popcorn.

The lights started to dim and the commercials started to roll. I wanted to get up and run but I stopped as Fang lifted the arm rest between us and put his arm around me. I froze.

"Calm dawn or your teeth will probably shatter" he whispered "I'll be here just watch the movie okay? I won't let anything happen to you"

"Okay" I sighed and looked at the screen, I didn't know how he could calm me down like that but I was glad he did. We stayed like that for a while and then I felt completely relaxed in his arms, I felt safe for once.

"Thanks" I whispered but he didn't move so I glanced up. Fang had fallen asleep, he was exhausted and he trusted me enough to fall asleep in an open area like this. I chuckled and kissed his cheek. He sighed and leaned his head onto mine, it wasn't the most comfortable but I wasn't about to wake him.

I watched the movie and refrained from laughing so I wouldn't startle him, but he woke halfway through and we both laughed as we ate popcorn. I felt my age.

By the time the movie was over we headed out to a small park that didn't have all those kid's games. It only had a few benches. So we sat and looked up at the stars.

"It was fun" Fang smiled and I blinked, I'd never seen him smile that way before. "We should go out more often"

"Yeah" I yawned and zipped up my jacket, it was getting cold outside. "So this is what it feels like to go out on a date huh?"

"Something like it" he took his jacket off and placed it on my back.

"I didn't have the chance to thank you for saving me" I rolled my eyes "Even though you were the one telling me to jump"

"Don't mention it" he shrugged and smirked "There's good in you Max"

"So you say" I rolled my eyes. "We should probably head back" he nodded getting up. I followed him and being my klutzy self I tripped grabbing his arm pulling him down with me.

I landed on his chest and heard his breath leave his chest. I had him face to face and remembered those times we'd kissed as I felt his eyes look into mine, I knew he wasn't going to move, I knew I had the choice to get up and walk away from this little accident but something inside me just didn't move away but forward.

I felt as our lips touched and just sank into that feeling, I was safe with him, and there was nothing wrong with this. Fang seemed a bit shocked as I pulled back a bit embarrassed but he recovered quickly and placed his hands on my face pulling us together again. After a moment we separated and took a breath.

"Now that's how you end a date" he chuckled and I laughed getting up, I lent him a hand but instead of getting up he pulled me down again and kissed my lips once more making me burst into a laugh again, I just felt so carefree at that moment.

"Time to head back" I smiled and he nodded getting up first and giving me a hand up. But he didn't let go so we were both hand in hand now as we walked back. Everything was great, everything was awesome at that point and I didn't know why I was scared before.

But all good things have to end at some point…

"Fang is that you?" a female voice called from behind "Max?"
