Pt.2

"Thanks Christian...you look," 'Fucking hot,' Rose wanted to say, but settled with a simple, "Great."

Christian gives Rose a killer smirk knowing Rose secretly wants to eye fuck him.

"So," Rose starts walking along with Christian, "How many girls have come up to you already tonight…" Rose's words fall a bit short at the end when she notices Christian staring at her so…

Christian smirks again, "Relax Rose and actually about six?" Christian says in thought, "I didn't know I really wasn't counting."

Rose mentally groans, she knew she should've stopped fretting about her clothes and meeting up with

Christian. Which she now sees as being stupid because she's met up with Christian a million times before today. She should have come earlier to avoid all the vouchers that wanted to lay hand on what's hers.

Wait-what? Hers? "Well, that's cool," Rose says sounding nonchalant, "So, I guess our slightly awkward moment is going to be cut short by Ms. lucky number 7 on the approach."

"Not necessarily," Christian says stopping and leaning his back on the stone balcony wall, "I wouldn't expect any girls to come up to me anymore."

"Why's that?" Rose asks staring out ahead, also leaning against the balcony.

"I don't know, maybe my luck has run out," Christian says staring at Rose.

"Pfft," Rose laughs out loud, "Your luck is far from running out," Rose says still looking forward.

"Yeah, how do you know?" Christian says, his voice a strange mixture between soft and rough.

"I just know," Rose says only to feel Christian's soft palm upon her face a moment later, quickly turning her face towards his. Looking into his crystal blue eyes and taking in the features of his face deemed beautiful. Rose feels as if she would melt by the purse of his pale, pink kissable, biteable lips as if he wanted to say something. Oh god, Rose was practically dying to hear whatever it was he had to say next.

Before Rose could stop herself she inches closer to Christian leaving them face to face and murmurs a faint, "Please."

Christian closes his eyes. Hearing Rose say please and so soft like that has to be the sexiest thing that has ever been spoken. He wants nothing more than to attack her mouth right now, none too kindly.

Rose feels like everything would finally be in her favor just for tonight- "Hey, Rose! Can you help me out for a sec?" Some random guy says, "And were you two about to kiss?"

I feel as if I'm about to explode and murder a thousand times over. Turning around I paint my face in a fake, non-amused smile directed at the surprised boy who mumbles out a simple, "What?"

"Yeah...Lissa said I could ask you to help me…" The boy trails off nervously.

"Ugh," Rose groans in frustration, "Whatever," With one last lingering look to Christian, Rose grabs the front of the guys shirt lightly, "Come on."

"Ooh, I like it rough baby!"

"Shut it!" Rose says more than pissed off and annoyed.

"Fuck!" Christian says loudly causing a few people to give him looks. Flirtatious ones from girls and a few guys. Christian rolls his eyes and goes to the bar and doesn't order another shot and instead orders a gin and tonic.

There's a male bartender now and he thankfully doesn't wink at Christian and just sits his drink down in front of him. Christian quickly takes a sip from his drink and nearly chokes when he feels someone touch his shoulder.

"Looks like that didn't work out so well," A slightly smug voice says.

"What do you want now," Christian says sitting his drink down.

"Well, seeing as you ditches me earlier, I came to return the favor."

"Oh, yeah...sorry about that."

"Yeah, I get it. It's complicated, but really its cool. I can see why you left me, she's hot and I'm just the weird girl that you just keeps following you around and talking complete non-sense and you're totally not listening to me…"

"No, really, I'm sorry about that, that was a dick move. And about ditching me, yeah right. You're talking to the guy you admittedly called badass."

The girl grins, "What's your name dude?"

"Christian, yours?"

"Haley, its Holly, but spelt H-A-L-E-Y."

"Creative," Christian extends his hand, "Well, I can't say its been nice, nor terrific, so-" Christian just shakes Haley's hand.

"Hey, I'm not that bad!"

"Oh no, you're terrific," Christian agrees sarcastically.

"Dude, what the fuck ever," Haley says downing her shot, "So, what brought you to this party anyway? That badass chick called Rose?"

"No, maybe."

"Hmm...Interesting, more interesting than my reason."

"Which is?" Christian asks after taking another sip from his drink.

"My best friend. She wanted to come tonight because apparently every cool person alive is here."

"That sucks."

"You have no idea. Then she totally ditched me. Like what the fuck, I could have seriously stayed home and watched very boring reruns and have a somewhat awesome pity party for myself."

"I love pity parties," Christian says practically downing his second drink.

"I mean the only reason I'm at least 'sticking it out' is because of the free booze and bar."

"I hear that," Christian agrees before signaling the bartender for another drink.

"So, do you wanna get out of here or what?" Haley asks looking over at Christian as he finishes off the shot the bartender sits in front of him, "You go bro, totally killed that shot! I love a guy who can handle his liquor."

Christian ignores her last statement, but instead answers with a simple, "Sure," But before Christian could make any move to leave he's grabbed by Mason.

"Hey, pyro you alright there?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

Mason leads Christian away from the bar, so they can talk, "Because it looks like you were about to leave with that girl just now."

"Yeah, so what? Rose doesn't want me, hell, she never even came back."

"Don't think like that dude. Look, I promise you, you have this whole thing twisted. Dude, just chill out and don't do anything stupid."

"You're right. Fuck, I sound like a girl. Thanks dude," Christian says running a hand through his dark locks.

"No problem, if you need to talk to I'm here for you," Mason says before ruffling Christian's hair and leaving as Christian makes his way back over to Haley.

So, are we going to ditch this party or what?"

Christian checks Haley out (subtly of course) Haley's got this whole hipster, but slightly surfer type chick thing going on. She's admittedly pretty even though she doesn't seem to notice. Christian feels like teasing her, "I don't know...maybe," Christian says looking at Haley out of the corner of his eye.

Haley smirks, "Oh, hard to get, I see...I like it," Haley says taking a bold step towards Christian.

"I guess this is the part where I', supposed to say I like something about you as well."

"Yeah, tell me, even though you hadn't known me that long what stands out?"

Christian actually thinks about this, "Your shirt. It's a Rolling Stones shirt and it honestly looks kind of tight on you. Its hot."

"Thank you. Well...what about my...jeans?"

"Those fit really well too," Christian says clearly checking her out.

Haley moves even closer to Christian and wraps her arms around his neck, "I bet you're wondering what

I'll look like without my Rolling Stones shirt and rocking jeans aren't you?"

Christian nods and Haley leans forward only for Christian to move back slightly, breaking the distance.

"What? Don't go shy on me now."

"I'm not," Christian says firmly.

"Cool, then stop being a little boy and kiss me-"

"Christian?"

Christian's head immediately snaps to the source of the voice and sees an angry Rose standing a few feet away. She's so fucking pissed and Christian can only remember her looking like that once, but the memory is too foggy in his mind right now to remember.

"What the fuck is going on," Rose asks glaring at the two.

"Nothing," Christian answers calmly as Haley drops her arms.

"Look, I'm...sorry, I think I'm just going to go."

"Yeah, I think you should," Rose says dismissively.

"If its worth anything which I know it isn't," Haley starts awkwardly, "We weren't going to...do anything...I mean he wasn't going to do anything and I need to stop talking now, so I'm just gonna," Haley doesn't finish, but takes her leave.

When Haley is gone Rose directs her attention fully on Christian, "What the hell was that?"

"That was me talking to a girl Rose,' Christian says not caring that he's being a snarky ass right now, "It's not like you never seen this type of situation before."

"No, but why were you about to kiss her," Rose asks becoming angrier by the minute.

"Why do you even care," Christian says as he picking up his next shot of vodka only to have it snatched away from Rose.

"Lay off will you?"

"Fine. How about we start with being honest with each other. You have something to tell me."

"I did, but I'm not too sure anymore," Rose says a frown gracing her features.

"Really Rose?" Christian asks incredulously, "You know what, fuck it!" Christian says finally leaving.

"What is wrong with you?" Rose asks caught off guard by Christian's anger. Catching up to Christian

Rose grabs his arm stopping him, "Why are you being like this?"

"Why can't you just be honest and tell me! No fear! I couldn't give a fuck about anyone here, but you okay!" Christian moves closer to Rose, "I just need you to tell me how you feel," Christian says quietly.

"I...I can't, not right now," Rose says unsure of herself.

Christian just stares at Rose before sighing heavily, "Then why? Why are you putting me through this? I thought you were sure? I guess I was just wrong about everything."

"No-Christian," Rose tries to stop Christian from walking away.

"No Rose. I want to be with you, but even now you can't admit how you really feel about me. Even if it meant this is the end."

"You don't mean that," Rose says firmly, trying to get a grip on the situation slowly falling from underneath her grasp.

"Maybe I do. Rose I can't…" Christian's confidence almost wavers at the way Rose is staring at him, but he holds firm, "I can't keep pretending like its okay for me. It's not. You want to hang out, sleep over, but what about me? How do you think that makes me feel? I want you to stay every single time I see you leave, but I don't dare say a thing because I know I run the risk of ruining our friendship or worse."

"I'm sorry Christian…" Rose says holding Christian's face in both of her palms, "I promise...the next time I come to you...I'll have my answer. I swear."

Christian closes his eyes wanting to believe Rose, but knowing he can't and shouldn't get his hopes up, "I just hope you're not too late. I can't wait...I won't wait forever,"Christian kisses Rose on her forehead softly, before leaving.

Watching Christian leave Rose couldn't help the way her heart stutters and aches, not just by his words, but by the thought of Christian actually giving up one day.
