On to the story~

~The Rebels~

The rebel members, except for Lou and Rain, all gathered in Riku's office, ready for their final battle with the Lazuli that day.

Only Riku, Lune, and Hiroto had poker faces, while the rest seemed restless for different reasons. Sen, especially, was uneasy. They were already planning to attack? But this is out of their original schedule!

"It seems that everyone's here... Good, let's proceed to Velder, shall we?" Riku said as he looked around.

Lacy halted him by raising a hand, uncomfortable with something.

"Yes? What is it?"

"Where's Lou and, well... Rain?" she questioned uneasily. Those two haven't shown up since yesterday, after all.

This question brought curiosity over to the other rebel members as well as they looked at the gunner expectantly.

"They have some things that are needed to be done. They will be joining us shortly. For now, we'll be going on ahead." he replied.

The rebels all looked at each other. What are these 'things' anyway?

Despite the questions in their minds, they teleported.

~At Velder~

As the Lazuli were preparing themselves to face their final battle, screams were suddenly heard coming from the town square, alarming them. They immediately rushed over, finding the citizens having terrified expressions at seeing the rebels appear right in their city.

"What?! I thought Sen said that they were supposed to be here after three more hours?!" Ethereal hissed quietly.

"Seeing how unpredictably they do things, I'm pretty sure they've suddenly changed their mind." Neya commented with narrowed eyes.

"So when are those two going to be here?" Mikami questioned, uncomfortable with all the shocked stares they're getting.

"Soon. Let's go on to our business first, shall we?" Riku replied before turning towards where the Lazuli are, causing the citizens around them to flinch in fight.

Accepting that as a challenge, they took a few steps forward to face their long-time rival group.

"You know, I was expecting that you'd have evacuated these people by now. Or perhaps... We came here quicker than you've expected?" the rebel leader mocked, as if having known all along.

Lazuli all widened their eyes, and Sen did the same.

"Don't tell me, you..." Neal trailed off.

"Of course I knew. Sen, isn't it about time that you return to your little friends?"

Riku's words shocked the rest of the rebel members as they all turned to Sen, who was glaring at him.

"Sen... You're..." Lacy muttered, covering her mouth with a hand in disbelief.

"A spy, yes, but it was only recently... When I found out that they've had Harmony all along and used her to make Rain this way!" the Yin-Yang Master shouted, pointing at Riku, "You lied to me!"

"I don't know what you're talking about." The gunner faked innocence.

"Stop acting! YOU said that you'd help me find Harmony!" Sen hissed.

"No, I didn't. You joined this group out of your own will."

"You..!"

"Enough. You talk too much. Now, shall we start to execute this little traitor and his friends?" Riku said, turning towards the other rebels who all went silent.

"... No."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Pardon?"

"I'm not trusting you anymore. You made Rain this way, almost like what happened to my own brother..!" Yue snapped at him as she unsheathed her short sword.

"You made him kill the animals too! You made him kill my friends..!" Lacy cried, tears flowing down her eyes.

"I can't kill Neya. She's my only living friend from years ago. I won't repeat the same mistake!" Mikami told him as she glared.

Neya's eyes went teary.

"Mikami..." she said, touched.

"Rain's my only friend. Isn't that enough of an answer to you?" Edd questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Yana finds joining these people more fun~" Milyana exclaimed, grinning, changing sides just like that.

As the five said this, they all pointed their weapons (Mikami pointed her finger) towards Riku.

Instead of panicking, the rebel leader merely chuckled in an evil way before actually laughing out loud.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Very good, very good! You were all starting to bore me with your obedience. This should prove to be interesting!" he said, grinning michievously as he swiped his hand, throwing them off meters away from their footing without even touching them. The action startled them all, even the three other rebels who hadn't betrayed him.

The citizens all screamed at seeing that.

"O-Ouw..." Lacy whined, holding her head as she stumbled a little in rising up back to her feet.

"I see that this won't be easy at all..." Mikami commented, glaring at the four rebels.

"How could he do that..?! Isn't he supposed to only be able to use guns?!" Yue said in disbelief.

"I didn't sign up for this!" Edd complained.

"Stick!" Instead of worrying for herself, Milyana went over to see Stick.

The Lazuli members were frozen from puzzlement. Most of the rebels actually sided with them now? What exactly happened here?

"Hmm... We have too much spectators." Riku suddenly commented, doing a thinking pose before he took out one of his guns and pointed it somewhere at the crowd, causing them to panic. Before he was able to do anything, however, the gun was struck by something that threw it away from his hand.

The gunner looked at Hiroto, who had been the culprit of that, while the black-haired boy glared at him, the gunblade that he had used still in his hand.

"... You know, while the contract did say to 'Kill the corrupted leaders and anyone else who gets in the way', killing innocent bystanders is not in the job description." Hiroto said with narrowed eyes.

Riku smirked.

"I knew you'd say that."

"... What?" Hiroto raised an eyebrow.

While this went on, the Lazuli members all evacuated the citizens out the city.

"Hurry, hurry!"

"Kids, don't rush or you'll hurt yourself!" Lin exclaimed sternly.

"Spoken like a true mom." Mikey commented, snickering.

"Shush!"

Suddenly, Rain and Lou appeared out of thin air behind Hiroto and directed attacks towards him, which he avoided by jumping back near the Lazuli members, landing on his two feet and hand.

"Huhu, 'bout time you guys arrived." The gunner commented as he clapped his hands, as if having watched a show.

"To be honest, I would rather not." Lou mumbled.

"You said something, Louie?~" Riku asked in a sickly sweet tone, an evil grin plastered on his face.

"No, nothing."

"I thought so. Now go and do your job."

Konoha raised an eyebrow at this. Something wasn't right... but what?

Grumbling about something under her breath, the blonde took out a card and threw it into the air, summoning a floating ember with an adorable face, although for some reason it has a sad expression, different from the previously summoned adorable summons. It seemed to be worried about something as it looked at its master with teary eyes.

Seeing that, the ice user tried to see if there was anything strange going on with the illusionist, noticing a certain black-colored choker that she now wore, something she had never worn before.

"Flamy," Lou said, causing the cute ember to look at her with solemn eyes, "Burn that imposter."

The ember widened its eyes immediately at hearing her orders, and almost tried to make its master to change her mind, but one look of her stern face made it swallow its own worries and did its orders, shooting a laser of flame towards Riku himself.

Narrowing his eyes, Riku evaded the attack by going to the side, but the flame then changed its direction and flew towards him. Suddenly, the fire looked as if it had been slashed in half by something invisible and faded into nothing without even touching the rebel leader.

This alarmed them all even more, including the Lazuli that had just finished evacuating the citizens.

"... I praise you for your courage, Lou, but you acted foolishly." Riku growled and took out something that looked suspiciously like a button.

Seeing that, everyone widened their eyes.

"Don't tell me..." Asashin trailed off.

"A bomb?!" Lacy finished, gasping.

Ignoring their shocked cries, Riku immediately pressed the button, which was pulled harshly out of his hand right before he even managed to.

"Can't I use items in peace now?!" he complained, glaring at the glaring culprit, Konoha.

"Nope, unless they're peaceful items themselves." he replied coldly as he crushed the button in his hand.

As soon as he did that, the choker Lou wore split in half and fell down to the ground. She smirked before walking over to the ice user and ruffled his hair as she stood on her toes, being short.

"Good puppy, good puppy." she complimented, causing anime veins to appear on his head.

"I'm not a- Wait..!" Konoha did a dramatic gasp in shock and took a step back.

"You... You just said puppy! I-Is this the start of the apocalypse?!" he exclaimed, causing everyone to gasp in agreement, except for those who are apparently too cool to gasp.

The blonde merely rolled her eyes and turned around to face Riku, Lune, and Rain.

"Enough playing around. We still have those three to face." she said.

"Before that, Lou, there's something I have to ask you." Mikami told her, narrowing her eyes.

"I will answer that later. For now, just trust the fact that we have to defeat those three, mainly Riku, but do not kill them if possible. They are innocent... at least, the real Riku is." she replied.

"I knew it..." Hiroto mumbled.

Riku sighed, seeing that most of the now former rebel members had joined the Lazuli members instead. To see if there would be anyone else betraying him, he turned to the white-haired boy who had been quiet all this time.

"Lune?" he questioned.

"I don't care... ALL I WANT IS TO DESTROY EVERYTHING! KHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" he laughed madly, going to his insane mode in a matter of seconds

They all got into their fighting positions instantly, knowing that the real thing is about to begin.

The gunner chuckled in an evil way.

"I knew as much. Now... Project R, kill them."

At his words the blue-haired boy closed his eyes, opening them to reveal the familiar red orbs. He stretched his right hand open towards them as the drones appeared around him once again.

"He's gonna shoot those lasers again!" Neya exclaimed.

"Particle Storm."

"Not on my freaking watch!" Edd shouted, raising his fist with his gauntlet up. The drones that flew around Rain got pulled towards his gauntlet as if they are magnets with their fronts facing towards the blue-haired boy, who shot the lasers just when they were pulled away from him.

His own lasers and the smaller lasers shot from the drones went against each other, causing them to attack each other and vanish mid-way.

Rain looked at them with lifeless eyes, as if pondering about something as he stood still in his position, the lasers having stopped.

"... Photon Lasers."

Another laser was shot from his hand, but none was shot from the drones, causing Edd to widen his eyes as he ran to evade the lasers aimed his way.

"Time out! Time out! Ughh! Stupid lasers!" he complained.

"Homing."

The mechanic could only stare in shock as a laser that he had just evaded is now flying directly towards his face.

"Air Counter!"

A sudden rush of air went through the brown-haired boy as it crashed against the laser, allowing it to dissipate by itself after much useless struggle of going to the mechanic.

Edd turned to see that it was done by the pink-haired girl that made Rain first cry during the weird drama competition the other day.

"Whoever you are, thanks, I guess." Edd said with narrowed eyes.

"Whoever you are, you're welcome, I guess." she retorted childishly as she crossed her arms, displeased.

Edd placed his hands on his waist as he turned back to Rain, who seemed to be preparing for another attack.

"Do you know Rain?" he suddenly asked.

"What?"

"I mean, the Rain before he became like this."

Ayame went silent for a few seconds.

"... He's my brother."

"Huh... That explains everything."

"Wha-"

Before she could ask what he meant, more lasers were shot their way.

"AARRGHHH! RAIN! QUIT SHOOTING -PURPLE- LASERS AT US FOR YOUR -BLUE- SAKE!" the mechanic shouted in frustration, shocking the pink-haired girl to freezing like a statue at his colorful words.

Rain looked at him for a moment before his hand went to his side and his eyes returned to blue.

"Affirmative. Annihilation Mode: Deactivated."

Edd looked taken aback.

Ayame covered her mouth in surprise.

Riku blinked before he gritted his teeth.

"What is going on here? He was supposed to only respond to my voice commands..!" he said in frustration, then turned to the blue-haired boy. "What are you doing?! Kill those two!"

"Don't you dare listen to him!" Edd shouted.

Rain looked towards the two males back and forth, confused on whose order he should follow. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his head and held his head, in pain.

"Kill... Not kill... Uhh..." he mumbled confusedly as he cringed.

Ayame bit her lip, uncertain whether he would even listen or remember her after such a long time.

"... Snap out of it, Ayato!"

Rain halted.

"... A...ya...to..?"

Riku looked rather annoyed at this, while Edd seemed to realize something.

"Rain! Remember us?! Edd?! And this pinky who claims to be your sister?! I'm going to hit your thick skull if you don't!" he shouted.

"P-Pinky?!"

"... E-Edd...?..."

"Don't listen to them, Project R! Kill them!" Riku shouted.

"..."

All of a sudden, he fainted back-first. Before he was able to hit the ground, A small cyclone formed right beneath him and brought him to where the two are, laying him down gently as it vanished.

While this all happened, the others were all facing Lune himself, who was going on a rampage.

"MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! MAD CLOWN'S RESTRAINTS!"

The familiar skill was used yet again as he stabbed the chains around him to the ground, where they erupted right beneath them all without any warning, but are luckily dodged in time.

"Ready..!" Aria exclaimed, holding the end of a rope made out of metal.

Neya nodded, right before the two surrounded the white-haired rebel with the rope and tied him up in place using it.

Lune tried to break free using the sharp end of his chains, but since the rope is made out of metal, it didn't work. He could only growl at them.

Lin patted his head, as if trying to calm him down, which fortunately worked since he seemed to have returned to his quiet self, as unresponsive as ever.

Everyone, except for the unconscious Rain, turned to look at Riku, who was the only one left.

Riku chuckled quietly, but it quickly turned into an evil laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! Amazing! You've all exceeded my expectations!" he remarked carefreely, then grinned. "As a reward for entertaining me, I'll return this host to you... I believe that our next meeting would be... interesting."

Right after he said that, he fell down to the ground, laying flat on his back, unmoving.

Almost immediately, he started to sit upright and rubbed the back of his head due to the impact of the fall.

"Ouw... My head... What happened here..?" Riku whined. Then, he started to look around and saw everyone looking at him with surprised eyes.

"Why are you guys here? Wait a minute... This isn't my room!" he panicked.

Soon, they all rushed over to him.

"RIKUUU!"

"YOU'RE BACK!"

"YOU'RE ALIVE!"

"Are you really the real one this time?"

"Finally! You're back!"

Riku laughed awkwardly, finally understanding the situation now.

"Sorry... I must've troubled you guys a lot, huh?" he said sheepishly as he scratched his head.

They glanced at each other, and some either chuckled or giggled.

"It wasn't your fault, but we do think that there's someone whom you owe an apology for." Mikey told him, smirking. Riku blinked, confused.

Thinking the same thing, Aria and Selena grinned towards each other before pushing a certain violinist to the front, while she herself could only look at them in disbelief. Most of them looked at her encouragingly, some with a smile as they did so.

"Umm... Well..." the gunner started to say nervously, causing her to look at him, "I guess they're right... I do need to apologize for... leaving like that. I'm sorry."

Sana blushed.

"N-No, it's okay. I-"

"Okay, out with it!" Ethereal exclaimed, frustrated at their awkwardness and pushed the black-haired girl, causing her to fall down into the unsuspecting boy's arms, who caught her out of reflex. The two blushed a beet red, while some of the others 'aww'ed in the background.

.

After, Lou had explained to them everything. That she had joined the rebels out of her father's request to investigate about why Riku's father, his old friend, had acted rather strangely, and that she had found the answers of it just the other day, before she got kidnapped and was forced to wear an explosive choker.

She had found a document containing information about the rebel members written by their mysterious enemy, from their background to their abilities, and that the last page had been about Riku himself, along the fact that his father had been dead all this time.

That piece of information had shocked them all, even Lune, which brings them one more question...

If it wasn't him... Then who was the one pretending to be Riku before?

.

Milyana had left without even giving them any notice, disappearing just like the wind...

.

~In front of the former Rebels' HQ~

"You're really going to stay here, Riku?" Sana questioned, Lorelei and Ozul being behind her. He nodded.

"I can't just leave, I have to take care of things here, being the new director and all. It's going to take a while to make everyone trust in me, though, since I'm so young... But, this is my father's company. I'll have to take care of it in his stead, as his son." he explained, frowning, "Sorry, I can't come along with you guys."

The violinist shook her head.

"No, it's fine. We understand. ... Um... Do your best, alright?" she said.

Riku smiled.

"Of course. I'll call you guys if I have time." he replied.

"We'll come visit sometimes too, so don't worry!" Lorelei exclaimed reassuringly as she grinned. The gunner laughed.

"I'll look forward to that." he replied, chuckling.

"Good luck." Ozul merely said.

"You too." Riku said, still with a friendly smile.

Soon, the three left to their own journey, waving towards the young director who waved back to them.

.

~Somewhere out of Hamel~

"So you're going home, Mikey?" Aria questioned the water user, who nodded at her.

"Yeah, it's been a long time. I just hope that my father didn't get a heart attack at how long I've been away. I'll try to join you guys once I can." he replied, sweatdropping at the second sentence he said.

Asashin nodded in understanding.

"I see... I hope you could soon." he said.

Mikey smiled.

"I'll see what my dad would say to that. Well then... See ya!" he exclaimed before jumping into the ocean.

Once he vanished from their sights, Aria let out a deep sigh.

"After staying in the Lazuli for so long, I almost couldn't believe that we're going on our separate ways now." she commented, frowning.

"Well... The rebels have disbanded just yesterday. There was really no reason for our group to stay either." Asashin commented.

"Still, I miss them already!" Aria whined.

The black-haired boy rolled his eyes.

"We don't have a phone for nothing, you know." he pointed out.

"Yeah, but it's not as fun!"

"Sorry for not being a funny guy, then." he scoffed and started to walk ahead.

Aria blinked, confused for a second, then hurried to follow him.

"Hey, don't tell me you're jealous of them?"

"Am not."

"Am too!"

"Not."

"Too!"

"Not!"

"Too!"

.

~In Hamel's Inn~

"Travel with you?" Ethereal repeated, puzzled.

Lin nodded excitedly.

The black-haired girl shrugged.

"Well, sure. I don't have anything else to do anyways." she replied.

"Excellent!" the hazel-haired girl cheered, then she turned towards Lune who was just sitting there on the couch as he stared at them. "Why don't you join us as well, Lune?" she suggested, smiling warmly.

Ethereal looked at the Snake Enchantress in disbelief, wondering just what possessed her mind to actually want to travel with someone who could turn insane at a moment's notice.

For a while, the white-haired boy just stared at them with a blank look, making Lin start to sweatdrop even more as each second passed, nervous on what his answer would be.

.

.

.

.

"Okay." he finally said.

Lin looked about to burst into tears of happiness, while Ethereal looked shocked.

'H-He actually accepted?!' she thought in disbelief.

"Thank goodneeesss! I was worried there for a minutee!" Lin sobbed dramatically.

Lune could only blink in confusion and start to question himself if he had chosen the wrong answer.

.

~At a cafe in Hamel~

"Okay, so... I was thinking that we could either work as bounty hunters or as bodyguards or something like that! What do you guys think?" Selena asked, grinning.

"I don't mind with either, I guess, but... What are they doing here?!" Soul hissed, pointing an accusing finger towards a smirking Sen and a smiling (and sweatdropping) Harmony who are sitting in front of the two. Harmony was no longer transparent, having healed completely.

"I figured that the more, the merrier! Plus, isn't he your best friend?" the fire user told him, smiling innocently.

"Best friend? Hardly." he replied, obviously annoyed.

"Ehh? But you guys seem pretty close to me." Selena admitted, surprised.

"Aw, what's wrong, icy guy? You don't want me to barge into your love life? I'm just here to bring fun!" Sen teased, grinning mischievously.

"L-Love life?" Selena stuttered as she blushed.

Anime veins appeared on the blushing ice user's head as he stood up suddenly and jabbed his thumb to the door behind them.

"That's it, Sen... We're taking this outside..." he growled.

"Oh, bring it!"

The two then brought their weapons and went outside the cafe, where chaos soon ensues.

Selena could only sweatdrop as she watched most of the customers start to come out of the cafe just to watch the two's fight.

"Well, well, I guess this is to be expected." Harmony said, laughing lightly.

.

~In the former HQ's clinic room~

Rain had just woken up, and is now talking with both Edd and Ayame, although he is still on the bed since he still needs to fully recover.

"What? You put our voices for you to respond to as Project R on your own?" Edd repeated in disbelief.

The blue-haired boy nodded, smiling.

"For some reason, you two both popped into my mind when my emotions were about to be erased. Besides, I didn't want to go down without a fight. I figured you guys might be able to do something, and I was right about that, wasn't I?" he told them.

"I could understand if it was her, but why me too?" the mechanic questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Because you are my/his best friend." both Rain and Ayame said at the same time before they looked at each other and laughed.

"Bleh! Quit it with the cheesy stuff! I'm not taking that!" Edd denied stubbornly, crossing his arms.

To the brown-haired boy's horror, the two Haruna siblings had an evil grin on their faces right before they promptly started to poke his cheeks on both sides.

"You tsun~" Rain said.

"Tsun~" Ayame continued.

"Tsundere Edd~"

"Tsun Eddie~"

"SHHHUUUUUTTTT UPPPPPP!"

.

~In Hamel's Park(?)~

Lacy, Neya, and Mikami sat on the same bench in the park, just enjoying the scenery full of nature.

"You sure you're okay with allowing your student to travel with those two?" Mikami asked.

"I'm sure. Besides, I'm bound to let her go on a journey without me sooner or later, and those two seem to be good companions for her. Look at how fast they're becoming friends already!" Neya answered, wiping the tears forming on the edges of her eyes, touched by the young ones' friendship.

The elf chuckled.

"You get touched a bit too easily, Neya." she commented amusedly.

"By the way, do you guys have any idea on what we should do now?" Lacy asked, curious.

"Hmm... That's a good question." Neya remarked with a serious look.

"I thought you were going back to teach in your academy?" Mikami pointed out.

"Maybe, but my academy is having a long holiday, so now it's my free time." she replied as she stretched her arms upwards, yawning.

"To be honest, I don't know what to do either." the elf admitted.

"Same..." Lacy agreed.

Silence

.

.

.

"For now, let's just relax and watch the scenery, shall we?" Mikami suggested.

"Ah, good idea."

"Uh huh."

The three then resumed in watching as the clouds floated by and as the trees rustled along with the wind.

.

In the former HQ~

Hiroto was just about to leave the building when he saw a familiar white-haired girl observing the paintings that were hung throughout the hallway.

"Oh, you're leaving too, Hiroto?" Yue asked, not looking at him.

"... Yeah. The contract's over now anyway." he replied.

"I see..."

For a moment, there was silence. Too silent, to the point of making the black-haired boy wonder and turn back around. Once he did, his eyes widened at seeing the former second-in-command trembling as she looked down at the floor, even if it was just for a split second.

"... Why're you crying..?"

Without herself noticing, tears were starting to run down her cheeks. Realizing that, she hastily wiped them away using her hand.

"Sorry... I think I'm just overwhelmed with all this. For so long, this place had been my home. To think that we would all be separating now..." she mumbled, audible due to the silence.

Hiroto became quiet, not knowing what he should say to her. Truthfully, he had also become somewhat fond of the place after staying there for those months, but not to the point of being sad if he had to leave. However, Yue had been there for years. It was understandable that she would be confused on what she would be doing.

"... You can accompany me, if you want."

Hearing that, Yue widened her eyes as she turned to look at the black-haired boy to see if he was joking, but he refused to look at her, a blush evident on his cheeks.

"... I'm not repeating that."

The white-haired girl smiled, then chuckled.

"I didn't know that you were such a tsundere, Hiro." she commented.

"... Am not..!"

.

~In Hamel Library~

"What book were you searching for again?!" Neal asked out loud from the top of the ladder.

"Clan History, Neal! Clan History!" Fae exclaimed from down below, only being like the size of a raisin in his eyes.

"This?!" he asked, taking out a book and showed the cover to her. Fae squinted her eyes to see what the title says.

"Yeah, that's it!" she replied.

"Could you two kids be quiet?!" the librarian hissed at them, causing Fae to bow her head repeatedly in apology, while Neal scratched his cheek with a sheepish expression.

Then, the silver-haired boy jumped down the ladder with ease and gave the book to her before wiping his head of invisible sweat.

"Whew... That was pretty hard to find." he commented.

"Sorry for asking you to do this, Neal..." she said, frowning as she held the book in her arms.

"Ahh, no worries. I have nothing to do anyways. Besides, I chose to help you find your brother." he assured her, waving a hand.

"Speaking of that, you're really sure that you want to help me?"

"Yup!"

"But... But what about your kingdom?"

"Um, well... I'm being hunted now, remember? Plus, I'm not strong enough to take on them all on my own. I'm sure I'll get stronger by helping you, so it's really just for my selfish reasons." he explained, grinning.

Fae laughed.

"I'd hardly call that selfish, but if you say so, I guess."

.

~Near the former HQ~

Kiddo had come to pick up his older sister back to the division that day.

"Guess this is goodbye for now, huh?" Konoha commented with his hands behind his head.

"For now?" Lou questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Heyy, did you expect me to completely leave you alone that easily? Please, I still have a dream to actually make you stop speaking so formally. Before that happens, I'm not letting you live in peace." he answered, shaking his head.

"Pfft. Dream on, then. That is one dream you would not be able to achieve." she scoffed.

"It will come true! Just you see!" he exclaimed confidently as he pointed an accusing finger at her.

"I would like to see you try vainly." Lou smirked challengingly, then turned to her brother who had been looking at them back and forth in amusement. "Shall we go, Kiddo?"

"Wait!" Konoha suddenly stopped them, causing them to turn around to face him, puzzled.

"Before I forget... Kiddo, you're not actually a girl too, right?" he questioned with a serious look.

Kiddo blinked. Once, then twice, and finally he burst out laughing.

"D-Did I just hear that?! Did I?! Man, that was priceless!" he remarked, clutching his stomach that was starting to hurt because of all his laughing.

Lou sighed.

"Let us just go..." she said exasperately.

"HAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!"

.

Months before the events of this story happened... In the midst of castle ruins, there laid an unconscious man in tattered, blue clothes. Rubbles of the kingdom's remains were scattered around him, along with corpses of other people that were either burned or stabbed. This certain man, however, seemed to have been stabbed in the stomach, his blood flowing out.

The rocks hitting against rocks as they were stepped on were heard from nearby, and soon a young man carrying a plastic bag of groceries stopped in his tracks, seeing the ruin before him.

"W-What happened here?!" he exclaimed in shock as he covered his nose from the horrible stench of decaying and burnt corpses.

Looking around, his eyes found its way to the man in blue. It was faint, but he was still able to notice the shaky breaths the man took. Widening his eyes, he rushed towards him.

'He's alive!'

3: With that... Two Sides of the Same Coin or TSOTSC has been officially drawn to a close XD

All OCs: You ended the story with a cliffhanger?!

3: Hey, the second OC-filled story is connected with this one! I call them, the Coin series XDDD #slapped XwX

The next story's title is "The Other Side of the Coin" or TOSOTC~ :DD

Look forward to it, guys! *^*/

I'm sorry that the last chapter for this story... sucks QwQ

But hey, how can three people (or two, or one even) survive against that many? OwO'

Plus, there's a few unspeakable problems, so I dunno how to explain how they'd even fight QWQ

And I'm sorry that the romance in this chapter is so few that you'd have to squint to actually see any ouoa

They've been fighting all this time, so I don't think they'd be concentrating on that or even realize, especially since most of them don't even know each other all that well yet o3o I'd probably make it more fluffy if they're actually close enough, but since they're not... ouoa

Only one omake this time :D

~Omake~

"Not on my freaking watch!" Edd shouted, throwing the watch from his hand away from him before being zapped with the electric laser.

"Edd?!"

Thanks for reading~
