"Well, she was a ray of sunshine." Alayna said sarcastically. She was referring to her intense interaction with Tara, the pawn shop owner. Trying to convince that stubborn woman to help almost seemed impossible. She was constantly eyeing Crowley and Alayna with a suspicious gaze. But they were finally able convinced her that they were all there to help. And she finally caved, after what seemed like an eternity. And eventually, they pinpointed the location of the blade.

She was following Dean and Crowley very closely, as they made their way back to the Impala. Dean chuckled while unlocking the driver's side door. He observed Alayna's demeanor with a large smirk on his face. Her arms were crossed and a permanent scowl was branded across her face.

"Yeah, well, that's a hunter for you." He said as he rolled his eyes. He quickly got into the driver's seat and promptly started the Impala. Alayna and Crowley got into their respective seats and settled in for the long drive. The tires loudly squealed, as Dean tore out of the parking spot in a hurry. Alayna eyed Dean as he continued to speed like a mad man. He smirked at her.

"The quicker we can get to Missouri, the quicker we can find this blade." Dean said as Alayna nodded in agreement.

"Sounds good." Alayna said with a yawn and turned to look out the window.

"You can take a nap, if you need to." Dean said, looking over at her and she smiled tiredly. "It'll take a few hours to get there." He said, as she nodded happily.

"I might just do that. It's been a very interesting day." She said as she rolled her eyes. She felt a hint of exhaustion as seeped into her brain and another yawn slipped out of her lips.

"Come lay back here, Darling. Might be more comfortable." Crowley said with a grin, as he patted the empty seat next to him. Alayna looked back at him and shrugged her shoulders. It did look more comfortable then leaning the seat back. So she gave in and decided to lay back there.

"Fine." She said, as she quickly unbuckled her seat belt. She swiftly climbed into the back seat as Dean scoffed at her. She smiled happily, as she laid her head down in Crowley's lap. He was like a giant, comfortable pillow to her. He gently ran his fingers through her hair, trying to lull her to sleep. He felt a sense of happiness gleam through him, as his fingers touched her.

"Does this look like a limo, to you two?" Dean asked sarcastically, as he looked at them through the mirror. He raised an eyebrow and waited for an answer. "I'm not your chauffeur." Dean said playfully as Alayna let out a soft laugh.

"Yes, driver, please shut the partition." She said playfully through a chuckle. Dean immediately rolled his eyes and turned the volume up on the radio. The music began blaring through the car's speakers, causing the whole car to bounce in vibrations. Dean started drumming along on the steering wheel, as his head bobbed up and down. He peered back at Alayna in the back seat and snickered like a child.

"Sleep to that, princess." He said mischievously with a smirk. She rolled her eyes while chuckling.

"You're like the annoying older brother, I never waned!" Alayna said loudly over the music and Dean put his hand up to his ear. "Now turn the music down!" She yelled toward the front of the car. All in good fun though.

"What? Sorry, can't hear you!" He shouted as Alayna's whole body quivered with laughter. Dean gave a rotten smile and turned the music down, to a bearable volume. After stifling her laughs, she looked up at Crowley with a pleading smile. He shook his head in disgust, at the loud music that had just been played, with his lip turned up. She lightly tapped his leg and caught his attention. He looked down at her with a smile, while scooping loose hairs out of her face.

"Just wake me up when we get there?" She asked with a smile. He nodded his head in agreement and forced her head back into his lap. She snuggled in as a gleeful smile was plastered on her face. Her eyes fluttered shut as sleep began to envelope her whole body. Several hours had past and they finally pulled down the long gravel road. Dean shifted the Impala into park and looked into the back seat.

He abruptly cleared his throat as he stared back at Alayna, who was still sleeping. He looked at Crowley with a mischievous grin and then yelled as loud as he could.

"Rise and shine, Princess!" Dean said playfully, still looking at Alayna, expecting a reaction. But she didn't move a muscle. She continued to snooze on Crowley's leg. Crowley chuckled and met Dean's gaze. He let a small smile creep over his lips, as he stared down at Alayna.

"Heavy sleeper." He said with a slight shrug. Dean nodded and raised an eyebrow.

Crowley softly shook her shoulder, as he attempted to coax her out of her sleep.

"Time to wake up, Love." He cooed softly in her ear. And suddenly she sucked in a large breath through her nose and began to stir. She stretched her arms out in front of her, while simultaneously stretching her legs. And without opening her eyes, she began to speak.

"Are we there?" She asked curiously in a hoarse voice.

"Yes, so let's get going." Dean said shortly, while looking back at her. She sat up and looked out the windows of the Impala. A white house stood in the short distance and nothing more. It appeared that they were out in the middle of nowhere.

All three of them quickly piled out of the car together. Dean walked in front of them looking around the property, with a watchful eye. While Crowley hesitantly hung back, taking small, slow steps. He looked around the property, inspecting every aspect. His eyebrows immediately furrowed as he began to slow his pace, even more. Then he suddenly stopped mid stride, as worry began to eat at him. He looked around again as a strange feeling enveloped him. Something was wrong, very wrong about this place. He just couldn't pinpoint it.

"Stop." Crowley said suddenly, with authority lacing his tone. Alayna and Dean quickly turned to look at him as Dean scoffed.

"What?" Dean asked, staring at him with confusion.

"I'm feeling something." Crowley said as Alayna raised an eyebrow. She looked back at Dean as he rolled his eyes, obviously frustrated with his hesitation.

"What cramps?" Dean asked sarcastically. Alayna chuckled softly, while throwing her hand over her mouth. Crowley looked at them in disgust and scrunched up his face. He shook his head back and forth.

"No," He said rolling his eyes, "I sense something dark." He said as Alayna finally stifled her laughter.

"What, darker than you?" Dean asked sarcastically. Alayna raised an eyebrow as Crowley frantically waved her over. He felt the strong need to protect her and keep her close.

"Get back in the car, Alayna." Crowley said with demand as she tilted her head in confusion. "I said now!" He said with more demand, as his teeth gritted together. Now she was confused, why was he acting like this?

She swiftly walked toward him and he immediately grabbed her arm. He pulled her whole body closer to him, as he kept a hand on her. She scrunched her face up in confusion at his behavior. She laid a hand on his chest and his heart raced out of control. She was taken aback at his fear. What was wrong with him? Why was he acting so, so afraid? Was he actually afraid? Alayna had never seen this side of him. God, he was scaring her.

"What crawled up your ass?" Dean asked, getting irritated. Crowley stared into the distance with wide eyes. His eyes narrowed on a man walking in the distance and his jaw fell. Finally, he realized who it was and why he was feeling weird. Dean caught his gaze and followed it to the mysterious man. He stared as the man went along with his business and Crowley broke his thoughts.

"We need to leave, right now." He said huffing as Dean raised an eyebrow.

"What are you afraid of bees?" Dean asked, as Crowley shook his head back and forth.

"That's no beekeeper." He said meeting Dean's confused gaze. "That's the father of murder." He said with his breathes quickening.

"Who?" Alayna asked, looking over at Crowley, who shook his head.

"That's Cain." He said as Alayna's eyes widened. Her church going years as a child finally paid off; because she instantly knew who Cain was.

"You mean like Cain and Abel?" Alayna asked as Dean's jaw flew open.

"Seriously?" He said in disbelief as Crowley began to back up. He still clung onto Alayna's arm protectively, dragging her along with him.

"We need to be a world away from here." He said as he turned around, trying to walk away; but immediately stopped in his tracks. Cain was standing right in front of them, with a displeased look on his face. Alayna's body jumped and she gasped in surprise at his sudden appearance.

"You're not going anywhere, Crowley." Cain said sternly as he removed his beekeeper's hat. Crowley gulped loudly and turned to look at Alayna. He protectively wrapped his arm around Alayna's waist. He held onto her tightly as he stared Cain in the face. Alayna looked up at Cain with frightened eyes. And he smiled widely when he caught her eye. She gave a small smile back and it felt like his eyes were staring into her soul.

"We'll talk inside." Cain said simply as he gestured toward the house. "Come on." He said in a deep and demanding voice. Cain started to walk away, constantly looking over his shoulder. Crowley sighed as his grip got even tighter on Alayna's waist and he looked over at her. His eyes were wide with worry as sweat formed on his brow.

"You need to stay with me, no matter what." He said, eyeing her as she nodded her head.

"That's no problem." Alayna whispered, looking in front of her. She didn't plan on leaving his side, Cain was very intimidating. And knowing Crowley was scared, was freaking Alayna out even more. She had never seen him back down from anything and why should he? He was the King of Hell, but now he was about to face Cain. Dean came up beside them and looked over at Crowley.

"What the hell, Crowley, The father of murder?" He asked, tossing his hands in the air. Crowley sighed heavily.

"Look, I didn't know it would lead us here." He said eyeing Dean. Dean huffed and ran his hands down his face.

"I'll just be honest with him." Dean said with a slight shrug. Alayna nodded her head in agreement.

"That might be the best plan." She said with a soft smile. Crowley rolled his eyes.

"Let me do the talking." He said as Dean shook his head in protest. No way was he going to let Crowley do the talking.

"No. I'll be the one talking." Dean said, pointing a finger at himself. Crowley opened his mouth to protest, but was immediately cut off.

"Listen, Boys, seriously just shut up." Alayna said exhaustedly. She was getting tired of their bickering already. They both gave her a dirty look for her remark and scoffed. She shook back and forth in disgust, as they walked up the steps. They reluctantly entered the house and were lead to the living room; where they all sat on the couch. Alayna looked over at Crowley with concern, as he forced her to basically sit on top of him. Sweat was pouring off of Crowley's face and Alayna quickly took notice.

"Jesus, Crowley, you're sweaty. It looks like you just ran a mile." Alayna said, wiping her hand over his forehead, removing the moisture. His eyes shot to her and began glaring daggers into her. "Calm down, big boy." She said soothingly. She ran her fingers up and down his arm, trying to calm his nerves. He put his hand on hers and gently squeezed. Silently thanking her for the affection.

"Why don't you just zap her out of here?" Dean asked eyeing Crowley suspiciously. Crowley sighed loudly, as he shook his head back and forth. "You can't, can you?" Dean's jaw fell open, as he ran his fingers along his lip.

"Well, that's just great." Dean expressed throwing his hands in the air. He began to move around the room, eyeing everything around him.

"So, tell me more about this Cain." Dean asked curiously, as he walked around the room pacing. Crowley sighed as he stared at the floor, feeling very nervous. For the first time in Crowley's life he was more nervous for Alayna, than himself. He should have protested more, when she asked to come. But who is he kidding? He can't convince her to do anything. What a stubborn, stubborn girl.

"Well, after Cain killed Abel, he became a demon." He said looking up at Dean who looked surprised.

"What do you mean, he became a demon?" Alayna asked softly. He sighed again and looked her in the eyes.

"I mean, he became the deadliest demon to walk the face of the earth. Killed thousands. The best at being the worst. And then he just, disappeared. Everyone thought he was dead or, at least, hoped he was." Crowley said, as he moved his gaze from Alayna to Dean. Alayna's jaw flew open in shock. Just became a demon? Just like that? Crap and the deadliest? 'Why was I so eager to come on this trip, again?' She asked herself. Alayna's gaze lifted from Crowley's worried expression; to Cain standing in the doorway. Again, he smiled brightly at her. What a creep.

"Do any of you keep bees? It's very relaxing. They're such noble creatures. And the honey? Well, I keep it right on the comb." He gave them all a polite smile and walked further into the room. He sat a tray with four cups of tea onto the coffee table. He smiled politely as he handed Alayna, Crowley, and Dean a cup of tea.

Alayna raised her eyebrows in surprise and stared at Crowley. He was shaking in fear and it was blowing Alayna's mind.

"So, what is the King of Hell, a Winchester," And he briefly paused, turning his full attention to Alayna, "And Alayna Stewart, doing at my house?" He smiled at her again and she shuddered.

"You know who we are?" Alayna asked as her mouth fell a little. He nodded slightly and folded his hands in his lap.

"I'm retired. I'm not dead. What I don't know is why you're looking for me, or more importantly, how you found me." He said narrowing his eyes at them. Crowley looked over at Alayna and Dean, taking the initiative to speak first.

"Ah, that's, uh, a funny story, really. Bit of a misunderstanding. We really should…."He said stuttering lightly, but he was cut off by Cain bringing his finger to his mouth.

"Shhhhh." Cain said and Crowley fell silent. Crowley opened his mouth over and over, trying to make a sound. But he couldn't, he couldn't speak anymore. Dean looked over at Cain with wide eyes and smirked.

"You have gotta teach me how to do that!" He said as he stared at Cain with wide eyes. Cain nodded slightly and stared Dean down.

"Why are you here, Dean?" He asked as Alayna looked over at him. Dean sighed loudly and looked Cain in the eye.

"We're looking for the weapon the archangels used to kill the Knights of Hell. The First Blade. We need it to kill a Knight of Hell - Abaddon." Dean's eyes fell on a black ring that rested on the Cain's finger. He was slowly spinning around. Cain remained silent as he glared at Dean. Dean gathered his thoughts again and finished his speech.

"Look, I get it. You're retired. We're not here to get between you and the demonic AARP, but it's bad out there, and I'm just looking to even the odds. She stole something for her and we want to get it back." Alayna raised an eyebrow, while scrunching up her face. Did he seriously just joke like that, about the deadliest demon around?

"How did you find me?" Cain asked getting frustrated. Alayna looked at Dean, who gave a heavy sigh.

"We didn't, it was a location spell." Alayna said, speaking up as Cain nodded.

"Does anyone know you're here?" He asked Alayna and she shook her head.

"No." She said simply. Cain let out a large sigh and pushed himself out of his chair.

"Well, it's been a pleasure having company, but once a century is enough for me. You can let yourselves out." Alayna shook her head wildly, this was their last chance. She had to know where the blade was and then she became desperate.

"No, please." Alayna said as she stood up. Crowley reached up and held onto her arm, as she tried to walk away. "You're my last chance." She said with a straight face, as she strained against Crowley's grip. Dean quickly stood up ready to defend her and he placed a supportive hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, listen, pal. We're not leaving here without the Blade." Dean said as he pushed himself in front of Alayna and walked forward.

"You have quite a reputation, Dean. I see the part about you being brave rings true." He said as Dean shrugged slightly.

"Well, what can I say? I'm an all-in kind of guy. Abaddon is the last Knight of Hell, and if you're out of the game, what the hell do you care if she dies?" He asked boldly as Cain raised an eyebrow. He was mighty impressed by Dean's tenacity. Crowley stood up and held onto Alayna's wrist, while pulling her behind him. He was shaking his head ferociously at Dean, who just wouldn't shut up.

"If your friend here could talk, he would tell you that I trained the Knights of Hell. I built that entire demonic order with my own hands - Abaddon included." Cain said pointing toward Crowley. Dean's eyes widened in surprise and he sighed. He looked back at Crowley and gave him a dirty look. As Alayna hit Crowley on the back and scrunched up her face. He looked back at her with wide eyes and tried to speak; but he still couldn't.

"And why exactly didn't you tell him that?" She asked loudly in frustration and he rolled his eyes. Cain observed their behavior and a smile fell on his face. They reminded him of what he once had with Collette and it felt nice to see it again.

"Well, here's something your friend doesn't know, that no one knows, in fact - outside of Abaddon. It wasn't the archangels that slaughtered the knights. It was me." Dean's eyebrows shot up in surprise and he tilted his head slightly.

"Why'd you turn on your own kind?" He asked as Cain chuckled in amusement.

"Once again, I admire your bravery. But if you'll excuse me, I have errands to run in town." He said as he gave a nod to Dean and walked away. As Cain reached the kitchen, he turned his head slightly and spoke. "Goodbye, Dean Winchester. Goodbye Alayna Stewart. Now never return." Alayna gulped as she heard him say her name.

Cain exited the house in a hurry, leaving the three of them in the living room.

"Come on." Dean said, waving them to follow him. Crowley started walking forward and his hand was still tightly attached to Alayna. He huffed as he looked back at her and he realized he could finally speak.

"Of all the times, you stubbornly believe you should come along, you chose this one?" Crowley said in an angry whisper. He said as he continued to drag her along and she rolled her eyes. Finally, they made it outside and started walking toward the Impala.

"Oh, cram it." Alayna said with attitude. He looked back at her in surprise. "I don't want to hear it. He didn't hurt me." She said as he rolled his eyes. He huffed more and stomped heavy foot into the ground. He looked like a child that had thrown a fit.

"Yes, but he could of." Crowley said as they quickly gained on Dean. He was now impatiently leaning against the Impala.

"Come on, let's get out of here." Crowley said with a frown. "In fact, I think I might leave the country." He said sarcastically.

Dean raised an eyebrow and stared at him in disbelief. "But you said the First Blade was our only shot at killing Abaddon. This is the closest you've been to it. We're not leaving." Alayna nodded in agreement.

"Sounds good to me, let's find that blade." She said as Crowley huffed more.

"You two are insane!" Crowley said, breaking his hold on Alayna. He started running his fingers through his hair.

"Look, I don't know about you, but I'm doing this for her." Dean said, pointing to Alayna as she crossed her arms. "This is the closest we've gotten to the blade. She doesn't want to leave, I don't want to leave. Plus, he said he's leaving for a few hours." Alayna nodded in agreement.

"That gives us plenty of time to search his house." Alayna said as she looked at Crowley as he scowled.

"You two are just asking for a death sentence." Crowley said shaking his head. Alayna looked at him and rolled her eyes. She was still feeling bitter, that Crowley didn't give them all the information they needed about Cain.

"Nah, you did that for me." She said sarcastically. She lightly patted him on the back and walked closer to the Impala. "I say we leave, come back, and then break in." She said as Dean nodded in agreement. Crowley was still scowling, especially after Alayna's hurtful comment.

"That's not fair." Crowley said as he pointed at Alayna. He quickly approached her and stood right in front of her face. She looked into his eyes with her eyebrows up, ready for a fight.

"Listen, lovers quarrel, let's go! And then you two can continue this later." Dean said with frustration and he got into the Impala.

"Yes, we will discuss this later." Alayna said with a frown as she got into the Impala. Crowley huffed once more and joined them in the Impala. They quickly took off down the gravel road and left the Cain's house. But it wouldn't be for long, because they had every intention of coming back.

A/N: I hope you're still enjoying. It took me forever to get the motivation to write this chapter. Lol. I seriously love his episode. And I try not to do it word for word, but this one was hard! So I hope it's not too repetitive.
