The next day the keepers planned to spend their day in the park, meeting fans and signing autographs.
They were happy that they could enter the parks while their DHIs were there. They didn't have to have special permission to enter the parks. They weren't forbidden.
Finn and Henry spent their time in Happily Ever After Kingdom. They decided to get acquainted with each other for once.
Fortunately, their real plan was to spot any Overtakers and find out what their next plan was.
"With the trigger now filled with magic, the Overtakers could attack any minute unexpectedly," Finn said as he signed a Finn Fangirl's forehead. He was constantly hogged and bombarded by Finn Fangirls.
"Well I doubt they would attack by day," said Henry.
"No that is not true," said Finn. "They came out at the parade by day and at Beowulf, so they will attack the moment they could get the chance."
Henry nodded. He turned around to sign another Kingdom Keeper fan.
Suddenly he looked up and saw something catch his eye.
Finn heard Henry whisper something that sounded like man.
"What was that?" Finn asked.
"Oh! I meant, I just saw the Fairy Godmother from Shrek 2 with Rumpelstiltskin and Lord Farquaad walk into a warehouse," Henry said.
"Really?" asked Finn. "But where's Prince Charming? All the Shrek villains but no Prince Charming? That's weird."
"Um…yeah," said Henry. "It is weird."
Finn and Henry watched as the fans ran away.
"Should we check it out?" asked Finn.
"Definitely," said Henry.
Finn and Henry crept behind the buildings and into the warehouse.
It was dark inside. They could hear voices though.
They hid behind boxes and looked at what was going on.
A whole bunch of Overtakers, including Lord Maliss and Pitch Black, were in there, talking amongst each other.
"It's not possible," said Pitch. "This thing does not have enough magic!?"
"What more could it require?" asked King Haggard.
"There is no more magic in this park to steal!" yelled Nekron.
"Yes there is actually," said a voice.
Everyone looked and saw Max Mordon, the villain from Tad, the Lost Explorer, walk out.
"Well!" said Maliss. "So you finally come out of hiding don't you?"
"I wasn't hiding," said Mordon. "I was exploring."
"Exploring for what?" asked Frieda from Happily N'ever After.
"I have discovered that there are two artifacts with the last bits of magic hidden in this park," said Mordon.
"Really!?" yelled Maliss. "Where!?"
"One of them is hidden in the Country Kingdom Lake in a sunken ship," said Mordon. "The other is hidden in a very tiny hidden underground cave near the tracks by the Polar Express Train in Hollywood Kingdom."
Lord Maliss chuckled evilly.
"Sneaky one Shrek," he said. "You thought you could hide them from us?"
He turned towards Pitch.
"Tell Joe to round up the other sea creature Overtakers as well as Ocho and have them head to Country Kingdom," he ordered. "They will get the first artifact."
"And for the second?" asked Pitch.
"Get Jenner and the Toad to go after it," said Maliss. "Their height should enable them to retrieve it."
Pitch nodded wickedly.
"We have to warn the others!" Finn whispered.
Henry nodded and they began to sneak out.
"No use in running or hiding from me Finn and Henry," Pitch suddenly said.
Finn and Henry froze in their tracks.
"I can see through shadows, and I saw you guys hiding," said Pitch. "Come on out!"
Finn and Henry slowly walked into the light.
"Hello boys," said Maliss.
Henry shivered. Seeing the Fairy Godmother made him shake all over.
The Fairy Godmother surprisingly smiled happily at the sight of Henry.
"Why hello my dear," she said, surprisingly hugging him. "I've missed you."
"Get away from me!" yelled Henry pushing the Fairy Godmother away.
"Now what was that for?" she asked.
"I no longer love you!" said Henry.
"Love!?" Finn yelled.
"Oh crap!" said Henry.
"Wait!" Fairy Godmother said. "You mean you haven't told them?"
"We already know he was an OTH," said Finn.
The Overtakers burst out laughing.
"An OTH!?" Pitch laughed.
"What a stupid name!" laughed Maliss.
"What is going on Henry?" Finn asked. "Why don't they recognize OTH."
"Because it doesn't exist," said Rothbart.
"He made it up!" yelled Mordon.
"So he could hide his true self," said Lord Farquaad.
"What true self?" asked Finn. "What are they talking about?"
Henry didn't reply.
"I think it's time he found out," said Fairy Godmother.
"Found out what?" asked Finn.
"Please don't!" yelled Henry.
Too late!
The Fairy Godmother cast a spell and it hit Henry.
"Henry!" yelled Finn.
Finn then saw something weird. Henry was changing.
His hair was turning blonde and long. His facial hair disappeared and was replaced by, pure handsome ness. His muscular body went away and his clothes turned into blue prince clothing.
Finn could not believe his eyes. Henry Augustine was gone. Finn was staring at Prince Charming, the villain from Shrek: the Third. He was staring at an Overtaker, not an OTH.
Finn could not believe what he was looking at. All this time, Henry was Prince Charming. He knew something was up when the Overtakers knew him.
"You see?" asked Fairy Godmother. "Your friend here is one of us! He's an Overtaker!"
"No I'm not!" yelled Prince Charming. His voice changed back into Prince Charming's. "Not anymore!"
"Tell me my son," said Fairy Godmother. "Why did you leave us? Why did you betray us and steal my magic spellbook!?"
"If you remember my movie, you would remember," said Prince Charming. "I care about happy endings, and happily ever afters! I loathe true love's kiss! And I will not let you guys destroy all of that!"
Finn was shocked. Prince Charming was defiantly not evil. He was actually, charming.
"If you still intend to stop us," said Fairy Godmother. "Then I have no choice but to kill you!"
She waved her wand and formed a magic spell.
"Finn get behind me!" Charming yelled.
Fairy Godmother unleashed a powerful blast of magic, and Henry shot one too. They both collided.
"Henry! Or Charming!" Finn yelled.
Prince Charming turned around.
"Call me Henry," he said. He then yelled and broke through Fairy Godmother's spell, blasting all the Overtakers.
"Run now!" yelled Charming.
Finn nodded and they ran out.
"You'll pay for this son!" Fairy Godmother yelled. "You'll die, along with all the keepers!"
Finn ran with Prince Charming, hoping to avoid other people.
"So when Henry said man, he actually said Mom," Finn thought.
They both hid in the abandoned locker room.
"That was close," Charming said.
Finn glared at Charming.
"Oh no," he said. "Listen I can explain."
"You lied to me," Finn said. "You lied to all of us, and especially Jess! You kissed Jess!"
"I love her!" Charming said. "Please listen, I am not your enemy. I truly wanted to stop everyone when I found out, but I couldn't do it alone. I was the one who set up the ad for the DHI summer program, along with hypnotizing the workers to make it happen."
Finn was shocked at this.
"I had to get you guys here, so we could work together and stop them," Charming explained. "I admit though, I did hide my true self from you and Jess, but Jess cares about me and I love her. And she loves me."
Finn crossed his arms.
"I wanted to tell, but I was afraid you would kick me out or even try to kill me," said Charming. "I am your friend, and I want to help you guys. I made a promise to Jess to always be with her, and I can't break that promise."
Charming got down on his knees and begged.
"Please don't kick me out!" he begged. "Please let me remain as Henry Augustine. And please don't tell anyone, especially Jess. I don't want to break her heart. Please!"
Charming was about to cry, when Finn put his hand out.
"Once a keeper, always a keeper," Finn said. "You're secret is safe with me. You are one of us, and you belong to Jess."
Charming smiled and grabbed Finn's hand, helping him stand up.
"Now can I see Henry again?" Finn asked.
Charming nodded. He enveloped himself with magic light and transformed back into Henry.
They both smiled at each other.
"Come on," Finn said. "We have to tell the others the Overtaker's plans. We have to stop them!"
Henry nodded and they ran off to find the others.
Whoa! We finally learned Henry's secret. He is Prince Charming! Do you like my twist? I hope you do. Charming will fight as Henry, and hopefully win with the keepers. But can they stop the Overtakers from getting the last bits of magic? Stay tuned to find out.
